Compared to the California golden trout, the brilliance of coloration in the Little Kern golden trout is usually a bit more subdued. Little Kern goldens tend to have more black spots along its back, especially anterior to the caudal peduncle, and onto its head in comparison to California golden trouts. Bridge L-158 is a disused railroad bridge over Muscoot Reservoir near Goldens Bridge, New York, United States. Built to carry New York Central Railroad traffic over Rondout Creek near Kingston, it was moved to its current location in 1904. In 1960 it was taken out of service and the tracks removed. It is the only remaining double-intersection Whipple truss railroad bridge in New York.

On January 1, 1970, I-87 was relocated to follow the New York State Thruway north of Elmsford. The old route was redesignated as I-684. Later that year, a third segment of the new highway between Armonk and Bedford Hills opened to traffic as well. As the branch disintegrates, the route enters an intersection with NY 22 (Goldens Bridge Road). NY 35 eastbound approaching the Connecticut state line in Lewisboro After NY 22, NY 35 reduces to two lanes through Bedford, continuing east as Cross River Drive, entering the Cross River Reservoir. Running along the northern shore of the Cross River Reservoir, NY 35 becomes a two-lane residential road, continuing east through Bedford.

Goldens excel at dock jumping The Golden Retriever's eagerness to please has made it a consistent, top performer in the obedience and agility rings. Its excellent swimming ability makes it proficient at dock jumping. A natural retrieving ability means it is also competitive in flyball and field trials. The first three dogs ever to achieve the AKC Obedience Champion title were Golden Retrievers; the first of the three was a female named 'Ch.

In July 1906, the railroad suspended service while it made repairs to its powerhouse and other properties, but quickly determined by August that they could not afford to complete the work. The line was abandoned on October 20 and the rails were removed and scrapped by the town. The affiliated Danbury and Harlem Traction Co. had not seen any construction progress beyond roadbed grading from North Salem to Goldens Bridge. Its rails were removed sometime between 1910–1915.

The bridge is located over an inlet in the reservoir approximately one half-mile (1 km) west of the Goldens Bridge station on the Metro-North Harlem Line and Interstate 684. It straddles the line between the town of Lewisboro on the east and Somers on the west. NY 138 crosses the reservoir to the north. It is most clearly seen from here, although it can also be seen through the woods from commuter trains near the station.

A riot ensues when the bodies of The Goldens are discovered, and The Admiral has a heart attack during the resulting chaos. Connor eventually calms the riot down and forces Roland to help him fly The Admiral to the hospital. Risa joins along, and all three teenagers are arrested and taken away to a harvest camp. The original dam is still standing, and divides the reservoir in two. During construction, the New York Central Railroad moved Bridge L-158 from the Rondout Creek near Kingston to carry its Mahopac Branch across a section of the reservoir near Goldens Bridge. It remains today even though service on the branch ended in 1960. In 1978 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the only remaining double-intersection Whipple truss railroad bridge in the state.

Typical Golden Retrievers are active and fun-loving animals with the exceptionally patient demeanour befitting a dog bred to sit quietly for hours in a hunting blind. Adult Goldens love to work, and have a keen ability to focus on a given task. They will work until they collapse, so care should be taken to avoid overworking them. Other characteristics related to their hunting heritage are a size suited for scrambling in and out of boats and an inordinate love for water.

Ultimately the entire village of Katonah had to be moved, while significant portions of Goldens Bridge, Purdys, and Croton Falls would vanish. The farms which fronted the Croton and Muscoot Rivers also faced probable losses to rising flood water. On January 5, 1897 the city of New York notified Ferdinand T. Hopkins that it was taking of land on Muscoot farm. This included land actually flooded once the Cornell Dam (New Croton Dam) was completed in 1906, plus adjacent acreage needed to protect the watershed of the reservoirs.

Aside from a few test runs with cars borrowed from the Danbury and Bethel line, there is no indication that regular service was ever offered on the partially completed line. In 1902, the project was acquired by the Westchester Traction Company, and immediately investors were sought to continue construction. This extended the roadbed grade to Goldens Bridge, but no further rails were ever laid. Permission was obtained to open between Danbury and Ridgebury in 1903 and a limited service was operated, possibly by the Danbury and Bethel Street Railway, but this was short-lived.

Robert J. "Bob" Castelli (born December 16, 1949) is an American security consultant, professor and media personality from Goldens Bridge, New York. He served two terms as a member of the New York State Assembly, representing northeastern Westchester County, New York. During the Vietnam War, he served with the 7th Cavalry Regiment in the United States Army. Upon his separation from military, he became a member of the New York State Police, where he served with the elite Special Investigations Unit and the New York State Organized Crime Task Force for over two decades.

Bred to retrieve, Goldens have a "soft mouth" grip The Golden Retriever was originally bred in Scotland in the mid-19th century. At that time, wildfowl hunting was a popular sport for the wealthy Scottish elite, but the existing retriever breeds were inadequate for retrieving downed game from both water and land. Retrieving from both land and water was necessary because the hunting grounds of the time were pocketed with marshy ponds and rivers. Consequently, the best water spaniels were crossed with the existing retrievers, resulting in the establishment of the breed today known as the Golden Retriever.

The golden perch (Macquaria ambigua) is a medium-sized, yellow or gold- coloured Australian freshwater fish species found primarily in the Murray- Darling River system, though a subspecies is found in the Lake Eyre-Cooper Creek system, and another subspecies, suspected to be ancestral to all other populations, is found in the Fitzroy River system in Queensland. Golden perch are not a true perch of the genus Perca, but a member of the Percichthyidae (temperate perches) family. This relatively widespread and widely stocked species is an important angling fish in Australia. As Golden Witchbreed opens, Christie has arrived on the technologically backward planet of Orthe ("Carrick V"), having been sent to evaluate whether it is suitable for trade and cultural contact with Earth. US 278 Byp./SR 12 Byp. begins at mainline US 278/SR 12, which turns from southeast to straight east as those highways head into historic downtown Warrenton. It crosses over Goldens Creek and then crosses over a former Central of Georgia Railway line before encountering the intersection with SR 16, which is the former path of SR 12 Conn. After the intersection of Shoal Street, the highway begins to curve east in front of the right-of-way of a former connecting ramp to SR 16\. The road serves as the northern terminus of SR 171 across from the Warren School Bus Shop, and then begins to curve to the northeast, even more so when it approaches SR 80 (Quaker Road) which joins the bypass in a concurrency. US 278 Byp./SR 12 Byp. ends at a second intersection with US 278/SR 12, and SR 80 continues north towards Waynesboro and Shell Bluff. The roadway that would eventually become US 278/SR 12 was established between July 1957 and June 1960 as SR 16 Spur from SR 16 in the south-southwest part of the city to SR 16 in the southeast part of the city.
