After beginning his career in musical theatre, for many years Lee was relegated to minor and supporting roles onscreen, only getting to play lead characters in one-act dramas on KBS Drama City and MBC Best Theater. In a 1982 commercial that featured then- rising pop singer Jun Togawa, the advertising slogan “Our butt wants to be washed too” and unique background music quickly drew public attention to Toto's new product. As the commercial was originally aired during the 7–10 pm slot, known as "golden time", it received complaints from viewers about the impropriety of advertising toilet seats during mealtime, and criticism for using the word "butt". Toto introduced a sensor that detects whether the user is seated or not, throughout the product lineup (earlier washlets activated regardless of whether the user was seated or not).

Maze, also known as Maze Featuring Frankie Beverly and Frankie Beverly & Maze, is an American soul band founded by Frankie Beverly in Philadelphia in 1970. Under its original name Raw Soul, the band relocated to San Francisco and was introduced to Marvin Gaye. Gaye took the group on the road with him as one of his opening acts, and in 1976, he suggested that they change their name from Raw Soul. Maze released 9 Gold albums from 1977 to 1993. Their well-known songs include "Happy Feelin's", "While I'm Alone", "Golden Time Of Day", “Southern Girl”, "The Look in Your Eyes", "Joy and Pain", "Before I Let Go", "We Are One", "Back in Stride", "Can't Get Over You" and "The Morning After".

When the Dergue had formed coalition with AESM (All Ethiopia Socialist Movement popularly called MEISON in its Amharic acronym) and other pro-leftist parties under a slogan of deepening socialism at a grass root level, many Oromos considered it as a golden time to strengthen the frameworks of the Oromo national struggle. This is because organizations like Ethiopian Subjects Revolutionary Struggle ( ESRS but well known in its Amharic acronym ኢጭአት ), which the Oromos formed only to get legal base for their national activities, would have high involvement in the governments bureaucracy. So they start to take the advantage of it. That incident had brought a good opportunity to the Bakkalcha's group as well. Many government officials of the “Habro Awraja” became members of the group and supported the group's movements by all necessary means.

Divided in 19 enclaves and covering an area of 1200 sq mt, the exhibit depicts the story of Kolkata, its social and political history, tumultuous freedom movement, its creative efforts in the domains of education, literature, music, performing art, science and technology. The communication technology involves animated walk-through dioramas where visitors walk through the streets of early Kolkata or witnesses the high drama of the Battle of Plassey right at the centre of the battle field. Fully computerised circarama where a 12 minutes story of India’s freedom movement is projected on a large circular screen surrounding the visitors; it takes the help of animatronics where visitors witness poet and Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore reciting 'Bharat Tirtha' and singing 'Tobu Mone Rekho'. Dramatic events of the Golden Time (1856–61) or the trauma of the 1940s are also projected.

With a rise of 5.1 percent in the third week of July 2012, Golden Time landed its first win on the Monday and Tuesday primetime ratings chart after drawing in 12.6 percent of the total viewers, according to data compiled by the TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics). The series, which had been struggling at the bottom for its first two weeks with single-digit ratings, made this leap as the former chart-topper The Chaser and runner-up Big wrapped up their runs. With average ratings of 13.3-15.5 percent, it thereafter topped its timeslot for ten consecutive weeks, despite the rival channels' London Olympics 2012 coverage and the premieres of Faith and Haeundae Lovers. Originally slated at 20 episodes, it was given a 3-episode extension, and discussions are underway for a possible second season.

In 1921, he was chosen to be the first National Coach, but the players did not like the hardness of his methods and he ended up not guiding any game of the National Team. 50 Cent wrote the whole of "Hustler's Ambition" during a break from filming Get Rich or Die Tryin in his trailer on the set of the film. The song's title was to match that of the film, which had the other working title of Hustler's Ambition at the time, although the then upcoming release of the film Hustle & Flow, which featured Terrence Howard, a co-star of Get Rich or Die Tryin, in its cast led 50 Cent to change the title of the film. American soul singer Frankie Beverly is also credited as having written "Hustler's Ambition", as a sample of his song "I Need You" – a collaboration with funk group Maze from their 1978 album Golden Time of Day – is included in the song's introduction. The production for "Hustler's Ambition" was provided by record producer Brian Hughes under his production name B-Money "B$", with recording carried out by Ky Miller at G-Unit Studios – a recording studio in New York City.

In July 2011, all the members of Kanjani Eight were announced to appear in the 24 Hour Television drama special titled, Ikiteru dake de nankurunai sa. It had already been announced that Murakami Shingo had the leading role and Shibutani Subaru had the supporting role as his friend since childhood, but it was revealed on July 19 that everyone else in Kanjani Eight would make an appearance in the drama. This was a historical first for the charity event as only one member of the hosting group would star in the special. The drama aired the night of August 20, 2011 during the 24 Hour Television broadcast. It was later released on DVD on November 26, 2011. Continuing their string of activities and national exposure, it was announced on August 18, 2011 that Kanjani Eight's television show, Kanjani no Shiwake Eight, would now become an hour-long Golden Time variety. The show was currently airing at the late night time slot of Wednesdays at 1:21am for thirty minutes.
