He created the 1715 translation Y Gyfraith a roddwyd allan o Zion, a Gorchmynion Arglwydd y Bywyd (yr hwn ydyw yr Arglwydd or Nef) gwedi i hysbysu i dynion of his Grandfather Jenkins' English devotional book, The law given forth out of Zion.

The 16th century saw Armenia in the hands of Persia, and a check was for the time put on literature. However, in scattering the Armenians to all parts of Europe, the Persian invasion had its good effects. Armenian printing shops were established in Venice and Rome, and in the following century (the seventeenth) in Lemberg, Milan, Paris, and elsewhere. Old works were republished and new ones given forth.

Self-discipline is an important principal in several religious systems. For example, in Buddhist ethics as outlines in the Noble Eightfold Path, the element of commitment to harmony and self-restraint has been described as moral discipline.Bodhi (2005), p. 153. In Christian ethics, virtues directed by the beatitudes where formally replaced by ascetical theology and obedience- based discipline, which changed orientation from the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, to that of an authority, blessed but not possessing the same happiness which was given forth by adherence and observances.

The school trains the air force pilots according to the needs of the trainees and according to the school's capabilities, taking into consideration the ongoing technological and military advancements. It also helps the army officers, who were transferred from the military academy for this purpose, by technically preparing them to fly jet planes and helicopters and giving them courses in air and ground tactics. The school gives other minor courses including foreign language courses in order to keep a high educational standard between their trainees. Pilots are always trained by the school, in compliance with the missions given forth by the colleges and schools of the Lebanese army.

The first chapter, Advices and Queries, originated from queries asked by London Yearly Meeting (the predecessor to Britain Yearly Meeting) to the quarterly meetings about the state of their meetings, and advices originated from the original Christian and brotherly advices given forth from time to time by the Yearly Meetings in London, alphabetically digested under proper heads. Until 1994, there were separate General Advices and Queries, which tended to be related to each other – the advices giving advice on Christian living, and the queries being questions which asked Friends how they were living their lives, and could be used for personal reflection or discussion in groups.
