The club was established in 2000 following the amalgamation of the Warkauden Pallo-35 and Varkauden Työväen Palloilijoiden clubs. The new club has now played 10 consecutive seasons in the Kakkonen (Second Division), the third tier of Finnish football from 2001 to the present day. In 2002 the club finished in top position in the West Group but failed to progress in the Promotion Play-offs. The 2008 season has been the most successful to date for Warkaus JK with the club getting through to the quarter-finals of the Suomen Cup before going out 2–0 away to Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi.

The "X Factor" of the title refers to the undefinable "something" that makes for star quality. X Factor replaced the highly successful Idols, which was pulled from television after the third and fourth seasons. In the initial televised audition phase of the show, contestants sing in front of the X Factor judges in the hope of getting through to the "boot camp". After a further selection process, the judges are each given a category to mentor and the chosen finalists then progress to the second phase of the competition in which the public vote on live performances.

In October 2017, Vithoulkas announced plans to challenge for a seat in State Parliament after establishing the Small Business Matters party. Not feeling that the discussion was getting through to her class, who did not normally interact with minorities in their rural town, Mrs. Elliott began a two-day "Blue Eyes/Brown Eyes" exercise to reinforce the unfairness of discrimination and racism: Students with blue eyes were given preferential treatment, given positive reinforcement, and made to feel superior over those with brown eyes for one day; the procedure was reversed the next day, with Mrs. Elliott giving favorable preference to brown-eyed students.

On the flight from New York to London, Rachel annoys other passengers by telling them about her relationship with Ross. Eventually, one of the passengers (played by guest star Hugh Laurie) has enough of this, and calls her out on her selfishness, pointing out that while Rachel claims to love Ross, she is going to ruin the happiest day of his life, and she should accept how things are. He also says that she and Ross were definitely "on a break". Phoebe tries to contact someone by phone to warn them about Rachel, eventually getting through to Joey at the hotel on the morning of the wedding.

As ground conditions continued to deteriorate in the days leading up to the First Battle of Passchendaele, Johnston warned the commander of the division, Major-General Andrew Russell, that his artillery were not adequately prepared. Mud had affected the positioning of his artillery and prevented sufficient supplies of ammunition getting through to his guns. When the division attacked on 12 October, it failed to fulfil its key objectives. Goddard made his County Championship debut in September 2004, but did not appear again in the competition for two more years, instead concentrating on the Second XI. He has appeared in the Second XI Trophy since 2003, the year that Derbyshire narrowly missed getting through to the final. On his championship debut for Derbyshire against Hampshire, Goddard took five catches in his first innings. Goddard holds the Durham record for the fastest half-century, reaching 50 in 32 balls versus Sri Lanka A on 10 August 2007. They lost this narrowly 1–0, but clearly showed their higher league promise. The team won the South West Combination Women’s League, having won seventeen, drawn one and lost just two of their twenty matches, scoring 103 goals, conceding just fifteen. The 2010–11 season saw the club competing in FA Women's Premier League Southern Division for the first time, however, they unfortunately found themselves relegated back to the South West Combination at the end of the season after a brave battle. They however fared better in the county cup, getting through to the final thanks to a 3–1 victory over Keynsham Town.

Then in the 1960s, John Mitchel's built what was arguably their best-ever team - they reached their peak in 1971 winning the Warwickshire championship and getting through to the Championship of Britain final. Here they faced the mighty Brian Boru's in New Eltham. This Brians team featured no fewer than ten London senior players who had played in the Munster championship, including Johnny Barrett, Timmy Sheehan, Roger Cashin, Paddy McGrath, Patsy O'Neill, Pat McDermott, Martin Connolly and Tom Connolly. The Mitchels had many stars of their own with many fine hurlers such as Billy Collins, Jimmy Moynihan, Paddy Grimes, Liam Dalton and Ritchie Walsh.

Like other contemporary Māori members he was hampered by a lack of fluent English, but he gained valuable experience in parliamentary procedure and European politics. In 1882 he succeeded in getting through to its second reading a bill to set up local Māori committees with power to adjudicate on land titles. The 2010 season also gave Declan a taste of the future in the form of the Ginetta junior scholarship. Getting through to the last 12. 2011 saw the eventual move from Karting. Joining the Ginetta Juniors and gaining multiple top 10 finishes. Ending a successful year in a very respectable 13th position in the championship. In 2012 the ever confident Declan began racing in the VdeV Endurance Championship. The Dijon 2hr race saw a victory in his class, 3rd in prototypes and 6th overall.

So You Think You Can Dance is hosted by British entertainer Cat Deeley, also the host of the U.S. version since season 2. In the initial televised audition phase of the show, contestants dance in front of the judges – Nigel Lythgoe, Louise Redknapp, Arlene Phillips and Sisco Gomez – in the hope of getting through to the "choreography camp" round. Peterlee Pumas was formed in association with Durham Rugby League Service Area and the Rugby League Development Program. They started training in summer of 2002 and the open age men's team played friendlies in the first year before joining the North East division of the Rugby League Conference in 2004 getting through to the North East final and gaining promotion to the new North Premier. The club achieved club mark status in 2004 and was presented with the award at half time at the Tri Nations Game between Great Britain and New Zealand. In 2005 the Pumas were the only team from the North East of England to beat Cumbrian opposition, however, the following year they dropped down and rejoined the North East division.

The 2005–06 season saw the team accomplish one of its greatest achievements to date, playing in the FA Women's Cup final against overwhelming favourites Arsenal Ladies. Leeds United legend Allan Clarke presented them with sock tags before the match, similar to those worn by the Leeds United male team in their 1972 FA Cup Final victory, in a bid to give the team luck. Nevertheless, the match did not turn out how the team had hoped, with Arsenal winning the game 5–0. Demetriou made the step up to the Football League, joining League Two side Shrewsbury Town on a free transfer following the expiry of his Kidderminster deal, on a two-year contract on 3 June 2014. He scored the winning goal on his debut, against Tranmere Rovers on 16 August 2014, and subsequently scored on two further occasions that season, an injury-time equaliser in a 2–1 win at Carlisle United, and a consolation against Northampton Town, as Shrewsbury lost by the same score and ended an unbeaten home record in the league. Demetriou was a first-team regular Playing in the leftback / left wing back role as Shrewsbury won promotion back to League One at the first attempt, and also getting through to the 4th round of the League Cup. Their promotion was secured after a 1–0 away win at Cheltenham Town on 25 April 2015.

In 1845 Sir John Franklin led an expedition to try to find the North West Passage, but nothing was seen or heard from him or his ships after they left the coast of Baffin Island. Many searches were made for the expedition and, in 1849, Captain Parker brought to England the report made by an Eskimo that he had seen and been on board (in Prince Regent Inlet) Franklin's stranded ships. As of 18 June, the Japanese public came out as the least satisfied with government support to businesses amid the pandemic in a six-nation survey, with only 11 per cent of respondents agreeing that support is getting through to the firms that need it. After initially being upset about Emilia moving out, Carolyn admits to telling William there is a possibility Emilia did accidentally kill Isabel because of Emilia's thoughtless ways; Carolyn seems chastened when she adds that her son was angry at her attitude and told her she should be ashamed of herself. She then tells a stunned Emilia that she has personally looked into the autopsy report on Isabel, and she can confirm that Emilia did not kill her baby girl. Emilia starts crying in realization that she has been punishing herself for so long, and that it was not her fault. Emilia later goes to Jack and tells him the full story, and while he tells her at that point that he cannot reconcile with her, a crisis involving Carolyn's City Hall wedding and William leads to Emilia getting through to his son and Jack saying he wants to go on a date with her, leaving Emilia happy and strongly hinting the couple will get back together soon.
