In the climax, Siddharth hatches a plan to bait Ganpat and his men to the wrong area and marry Jhanvi with her remaining family members who care for her and Siddharth, until Ganpat gets wind of this and tracks them down.
After an escape and shipwreck, they kill a monster with the help of Joe's sleeping pills and start billing Schuyler as Hercules at a local gladiatorial arena. The real Hercules (Samson Burke) gets wind of their game and confronts them, but after single combat the Stooges convince Hercules to help them rescue Diane in a chariot chase. The time travelers remove Odius and, navigating by observing the progress of military technology, manage to set history straight by dumping him off into the Wild West where a tribe of Native American warriors chase him off into the distance. After that, the travelers return to Dimsal's Drug Store.
In 1927, an explorer discovered something frozen in Antarctica's ice, and he brought it home with him to Gotham City, where he sealed himself in a lab. It remained undiscovered until a present-day construction crew broke it open to find the explorer torn apart. Dr. Fortune, an army scientist, soon gets wind of this when the Alien escapes into Gotham. Although Batman is able to find its nest and arrange for three victims to have the Alien embryos extracted before they can hatch on their own, Fortune takes custody of the Alien corpses for herself even after Batman is forced to kill the prime Alien in a desperate struggle through Gotham.
Spider-Man discovers and releases Chance, and the two destroy the Life Foundation's base. Months later, the Life Foundation has the foreign client Chakane due to plotting to assassinate the king of Symkaria, planning to take up residence in the Life Foundation and guarded by mindless superhuman "Protectors". Silver Sable gets wind of their scheme, and acquires more information pertaining to their conspiracy by interrogating Chakane and Drake after Spider-Man and Paladin help break into the Life Foundation's new underground city built in New Jersey yet Drake's resources prevent any prosecution. Spider-Man and Solo afterward capture Toler Weil, Chakane's ally who the Life Foundation had hidden in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Daniel calls, and at first Betty decides to cover her tracks by lying to him but when she comes clean he decides to help Betty by paying Gina to get the issue back. Unfortunately Wilhelmina gets wind of this (via a text message from the chauffeur who picked Betty up) and sends Marc to retrieve it. When Betty and Daniel (who stalls a staff meeting so he has time to recover the mock-up) arrive to get the 'book', Gina tells them that she got a LCD TV after someone else showed up to claim it. While there, Betty sees Walter fixing Gina's set but he insists that he still has feelings for Betty.
Nancy gets wind of their scheme though, and at the risk of her life arranges a midnight rendezvous at London Bridge with Mr. Brownlow, whom she informs about Monks and of his plans for Oliver, and arranges with him to rescue Oliver from the gang's clutches. But her efforts are discovered by Fagin and Sikes, the latter brutally murdering her for interfering. After a thrilling rooftop chase, Sikes accidentally hangs himself and Fagin is arrested by the police while Oliver is happily reunited with Mr. Brownlow, who successfully tracks Monks down. Monks confesses Oliver is his long lost half brother, and the true heir to a vast fortune left by their late father.
Voight urges the President to order an evacuation of Phoenix and the surrounding area, but the President ultimately leaves that decision in the hands of Arizona's governor, Michael Ritchie (Nicolas Coster). The President does order the nuclear warheads of a Minuteman ICBM to be launched into space aboard a Titan- Centaur rocket, so that an attempt can be made at destroying the comet. After talking with the President, Governor Ritchie meets with a number of key people, including his chief of staff Elliott Kirkwood (Kip Niven), insurance executive Paul Gilliam (Lloyd Bochner), newspaper owner David Allan (David Dukes), and emergency management officer Wayne Lustus (William Bogert). David's wife, television station owner Sharon Allan (Elizabeth Ashley), gets wind of the meeting, but is unable to get David to tell her what's going on.
Sue Ellen divorces J.R. and gains custody of John Ross, but her relationship with Dusty ends when he regains the use of his legs and decides to resume his life's passion as a rodeo cowboy. Sue Ellen then moves back to Dallas with her son and enters into another short-lived romance with Cliff. When J.R. gets wind of this, he becomes jealous and courts Sue Ellen himself in an effort to win back custody of his son, and, in the process, obtain his voting shares in Ewing Oil, the family oil company. In 1982, J.R. and Sue Ellen remarry, but their happiness is short-lived as J.R. quickly returns to his philandering ways and Sue Ellen catches him in bed with oil tycoon Holly Harwood (Lois Chiles).
Daniel is not keen about having Betty working with him because she is homely, so he plots to have her quit by giving her difficult and outrageous tasks. When Betty gets wind of this from the company seamstress, Christina, she is badly hurt and says that perhaps that is the way she was supposed to land a job. After Daniel makes her stand in for an embarrassing modeling shoot, he has a change of heart after realising what he is putting her through and halts the shoot as Betty walks out in anger and tears, leaving a regretful Daniel behind. In her personal life, Betty has to deal with her sister Hilda, a single mother who thinks that her college- educated sister is not cut out for work in the fashion world, and wants Betty to join her in selling Herbalux.
Woodall tells him that he is investigating the disappearance of the foreign nationals who were supposed to have been witnesses in the Ava Hessington case that Mike and Harold settled out of court.. Mike quickly recognizes what Woodall might be trying to do and refuses to talk to him or answer any of his questions long enough for Harvey to show up and force Woodall to release him. Woodall later formally arrests both Harold and Mike, using the Patriot Act as basis for taking them in for questioning without processing him or allowing him to call his attorney, in violation of his 4th Amendment rights, hoping that will give him enough time to pressure Harold to break down, start talking and implicate Mike. This time Louis gets wind of what's going on and retrieves Harvey from his office before they both go downtown, hoping to get there before Harold caves. Eventually they show up just in time and manage to keep Harold from talking.
Allan saves Marie's life together with those of the servants save for Monsieur Leblanc who is captured and killed by the foe. After this, the love between Marie and Allan grows, and her father gets wind of the affair and tries to oppose it For his hate of the Englishmen and for the fact that he had promised his daughter's hand in marriage to another Boer called Hernando Pereira, who, on learning of how Marie loves Allan and would rather die than marry him, also hates Allan to the bone. He challenges Allan to a shooting match where they are to shoot at birds but Allan beats him to the game, and he and other Boers together with Marie's family decide to move away and finally settle at the banks of the Crocodile river some 50 miles from Delagoa Bay. Overtaken by hunger and fever, Marie writes a letter to Allan who organizes himself, says goodbye to his father and goes to their rescue with a good supply of food and other necessary provisions.
