Diane gets off the phone with Debbie and tells Ashley that they've decided to call the baby boy Jack Sugden. Chas rushes back into the pub. Carl, still wounded from Chas' attack on him, struggles to sit up.

SWAT teams are sent inside but they do not find anyone. Quinn tells Carrie that Vice President Walden is dead, apparently due to a pacemaker malfunction. Carrie calls Brody (Damian Lewis), who is at the safehouse with Jessica (Morena Baccarin). Jessica overhears enough of the conversation to know who he is talking to; Brody finds her crying when he gets off the phone with Carrie.

It appeared that he had taken some Valium, and was falling asleep as he fired the gun, managing to miss his head. Chris gets off the phone with Dr. Dudley just as the doorbell rings. Chris opens the door and lets in Lenny and Claire Ganz, also friends of the Brocks. Lenny and Claire have just been in a car accident, and Lenny calls his doctor, who also happens to be Dr. Dudley, to ask him about his neck.

However, Captain Kronious calls Milverstead with this information, and not John Keem. Milverstead gets off the phone and asks Ice, who has been bouncing a pencil while awaiting his next order, if he'd like a little "exercise". Ice throws down the pencil and goes off to find and kill Stevo. After their sexual encounter, John Keem goes off to finish the investigation while Kristy goes to collect her 8 year old daughter she left at the club with the reception several hours earlier.

Betty then gets a call from Henry as Amanda listens in (only to have Betty to tell Amanda to butt out). Henry is carrying a big bouquet of gerbera daisies. As Betty gets off the phone excitedly as she sees Daniel coming toward her with a big present, but it is for Renee. At the Suarez house, Ignacio is upset that Betty's weekend has been scrubbed because of Charlie, then pouts because he likes to have the family together for birthdays.

Georgina Salt (Heather Graham) is a young English contractor living in London who longs to have a baby, which she sees as the one thing missing from her life. In the opening scene, Zach, Georgina's long-time boyfriend, is talking on the phone with his sister, who has just had a baby girl. Georgina is obviously more interested in the baby than Zach. After Zach gets off the phone, the couple goes back into their bedroom where Georgina seduces Zach.

However, just as she gets off the phone with Matt, she sees Henry back in New York City. This makes Betty realize that she still has feelings for her former fiancé, as she follows his Facebook account to track his whereabouts. Meanwhile, Betty and Marc wait to see if their YETI editor interviews resulted in actual jobs. However, it turns out Jodi might be sabotaging their efforts, as Marc tells Betty that Jodie is interested in gay men (in other words, Marc).

Carter then warns his wife, Peter, and Lois to never put him in a retirement home ever again, stating that he will continue running his business until the day he dies. Just then, Peter's mother Thelma calls from the nursing home on Peter's phone where she complains about her nursing home. Peter remains non-committal while also stating that nobody is touching her in her sleep and vows to visit on Thanksgiving. When Peter gets off the phone, Lois reminds him that Thelma has to stay in the home.

Upon arriving at Jerry's apartment Laura removes her shoes and some excess clothing to get comfortable, asks for wine, and turns down the light and asks if she can stay over a second night. As Jerry removes his own shoes and begins to grow confident, the phone rings for Laura. When Laura gets off the phone she tells Jerry: "Never get engaged." Jerry then realizes that he has no chance with Laura, but has already committed himself – and his one-bedroom apartment – to an entire weekend with her, including a five-hour sightseeing boat ride around Manhattan.

But Justin tells his family and Marc that he is actually straight and was pretending to act gay, saying that his flamboyant behavior was all a joke. Later that night at bed, Betty and Hilda made up over what happened with Bobby, with Hilda admitting that even though she is dating Archie, she may still have feelings for Bobby. As Wilhelmina gets off the phone with the detective, she becomes distressed with the fact that she could face jail time, so she tells Marc to make phone call to look for a model, for which Wilhelmina would offer her services. Unfortunately, it looks like she just landed a job with "Hot Flash".

Betty gets off the phone with Ignacio and is spooked by Matt, who came by to talk and as Betty thinks he's going to hug her, he straighten's her hair out. Betty then runs into Daniel, who talk about their plans for a lunch to help find Daniel's assistant. When Wilhelmina run's into the two, she is spooked by Daniel thanking her for being part of an event involving Tibetan orphans, and as she walks into her office she confronts Marc about him using her name to be the recipient, which will be held at her apartment. Marc hopes that the event will repair her image, even though Wilhelmina is cash-strapped.

After Betty gets off the phone with Matt while launching her blog, she gets a knock on the door from her landlord Mr. Z to ask her about what happened to the two months back rent. Z takes offence to this story, thinking Betty depicted him as the worst part of the week; but Betty stuns him by taking off her hat and showing her overpuffed hair, persuading him to let her continue with her story... The next day, Betty confronts Amanda over not paying the rent, and makes it clear to Amanda that she must pay by blocking her from getting out of this excuse by using her crutches with force. A panicked Amanda gets the message. Betty asks Marc about why she wasn't informed about them moving out, but he doesn't remember and stops by to give her a shampoo bottle (that destroyed her hair) to do a piece on.
