Dave Benson Phillips (born 3 February 1965) is a British entertainer and children's television presenter, best known for his work presenting Playhouse Disney (1998–2006) and The Fun Song Factory (1994–1999). He also presented the popular CBBC game show Get Your Own Back which he now tours with around the UK.

In March 2013 he left the Breakfast Show on BBC Radio Derby after 3 years and returned to present the Drive Time show on BBC Radio Manchester. Trow has been a 'warm up' man for CBBC working on programmes like Get Your Own Back. He is a regular presenter for the BBC Exhibitions working on Gardeners World Live and the Good Homes Show and is a voice over artist in the North West. On television, he has worked on Men and Motors and presented Children in Need and is a presenter of Channel M Breakfast on Channel M. A Blackpool FC fan he is also the Matchday Compere at the club.

In 1991, he was given his own show, Get Your Own Back, which was shown on BBC One (and later CBBC) between 1991 and 2003, and was a game show consisting of one child contestant and an adult (such as a relative or teacher) who, in the child's eyes, had done something unreasonable, and for which the child wanted revenge. In 1999, the show was nominated for a BAFTA. In 1996, he was given his own show on ITV, Wake Up in the Wild Room. Phillips operates Chester Benson Productions, a production company which provides entertainment, removals and transportation services, and offers inflatables for hire, such as bouncy castles.

The final round is a best-of-11 quiz comparable to the final from Get Your Own Back, featuring both teams represented by the final pair of frenemies reunited and competing with each other. The two teams are situated in mine carts with six hands of varying colors placed in the tracks their carts are on, with a 5x5 grid of the letters "KEEPYOURENEMIESCLOSEFINAL" separate from this railway. On each team's turn, one letter on the grid will be illuminated and Defries will read out a category. The team who is playing will have five seconds to come up and say two correct answers - items within that category that start with the illuminated letter.

Orwell lists "four great motives for writing" which he feels exist in every writer. He explains that all are present, but in different proportions, and also that these proportions vary from time to time. They are as follows; # Sheer egoism- Orwell argues that a writer writes from a "desire to seem clever, to be talked about, to be remembered after death, to get your own back on grown-ups who snubbed you in childhood, etc." He says that this is a motive the writer shares with scientists, artists, lawyers - "the whole top crust of humanity" - and that the great mass of humanity, not acutely selfish, after the age of about thirty abandons individual ambition.

Hayden-Smith became close friends with several of his fellow presenters, including Angellica Bell and Adrian Dickson. During his time on CBBC, Hayden-Smith was once gunged in the studio after a phone-in deciding which presenter should get gunged in honour of the gameshow Get Your Own Back. With 63% of the votes, Hayden-Smith had a bucket of pink gunge and a bucket of green gunge poured directly over his head. By this time he had begun presenting the UK Top 40 on CBBC. The show had begun in early 2002 along with the CBBC digital channel and was originally presented by Adrian Dickson and Konnie Huq. It was aired on Sunday nights concurrently with the Top 40 show on Radio One. After Dickson and Huq left the show in September 2004, Hayden-Smith was approached to become the sole presenter, having stood in for Dickson at the last minute one Sunday night several months previously.
