However, on September 5 of that year, Rouse was designated for assignment.

On land, the Achaeans were unable to defeat the Spartan forces outside Gythium and Philopoemen retreated to Tegea. When Philopoemen re-entered Laconia for a second attempt, his forces were ambushed by Nabis, but nevertheless Philopoemen managed to gain a victory over the Spartan forces.

On March 13, Brown and Trytan faced off at Destination X. Brown eventually gained the upper hand over Trytan, but as he prepared to hit his signature Pounce finisher, the arena lights went out. When the lighting was restored, a masked man was in the ring in place of Wilson. Brown Pounced and pinned the masked man and was awarded the victory, although he had been unable to gain a victory over Wilson. The masked man was later identified as Mideon, but was never properly included in the storyline.

After training with DJ Hyde at the Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) training school, Yim began working for CZW as a manager for Adam Cole. Debuting at Cage of Death II in December 2010, the two were presented as a storyline couple, and Yim regularly interfered in Cole's matches to help him win. After helping Cole gain a victory over Greg Excellent at Down With The Sickness 2011 in September, Excellent began feuding with the pair. As part of the storyline, Yim faced Excellent in an intergender match at Night Of Infamy 10: Ultimatum in November.

During the match Fuerza Guerra interfered in the match, helping his son gain a victory over Perro Jr. That match started a father/son storyline between the Aguayos and the Guerrera family and would include the two teams fight over the Mexican National Tag Team Championship held by the Guerrera family. The feud ended when Fuerza Guerrera left AAA in late 1995. La Parka and Estrada found themselves on opposite side of multi-man tag team matches at the subsequent Triplemanía III shows with La Parka's side winning one and Estrada's team winning the second match. On August 6, 1995 La Parka regained the Mexican National Light Heavyweight Championship from Jerry Estrada as their feud continued into 1996.

In 2006, Cherry Bomb wrestled at the Super Hardcore Anime Wrestling Expo show, a combination of the 10th Annual Anime North Convention and GCW's Great Canadian Wrestling Expo show, where she teamed with LuFisto and Darkston as Team Sailor Moon to defeat Team Rocket (Timothy Dalton, Pandora and Steve Brown). She competed in the tournament to determine the inaugural GCW W.I.L.D. Champion on November 18, 2006, and defeated Portia Perez in the first round before losing to Sirelda, the eventual winner of the tournament, in the semi-finals. She continued competing in GCW throughout early 2007, teaming up with Hayden the Destroyer to defeat Cody Deaner and Portia Perez at New Year's Evil on January 12, and teaming with Sirelda to gain a victory over Deanna Conda and Aurora on April 13. The following night, on April 14, she won the W.I.L.D. Championship by defeating the reigning champion, April Hunter, Hailey Rogers, and Miss Danyah in a fatal four-way match at the Anarchy in Angus show.
