The state school system is often bypassed at age 16 by the more able pupils. Some London boroughs need more good sixth form colleges. These are not sent automatically. It is essential for the grant writer to know why the project was rejected. After reading the comments, the writer may realize that the rejection had very little to do with quality of the proposal. Its role is to develop RDI policy and ensure that Hungary adequately invest in RDI by funding excellent research and supporting innovation to increase competitiveness and to prepare the RDI strategy of the Hungarian Government, to handle the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund, and represents the Hungarian Government and a Hungarian RDI community in international organizations.
The National Employer Service (NES) was a service of the Learning and Skills Council which became the Skills Funding Agency. Its purpose was to offer specialist advice and funding for further education to national, multi-site employers with more than 5000 employees. The service worked with 150 companies including BT Group, Sainsbury's, Tesco and McDonald's. First established in 2003 as the National Contracting Service, its role evolved from centrally delivering government funding towards working in partnership with large employers, providing specialist advice on the development of large scale work- based training programmes.

The formal definition of a new investigator varies with the funding agency. For example, for the NIH, a new investigator is one that does not have a story of previous funding. Other organizations, such as the Alzheimer's Association, consider a new investigator someone that is less than 10 years past their PhD degree. A previous Ofsted inspection that took place in February 2018 found the college to be inadequate. Newcross Healthcare currently has 231 healthcare apprenticeships running nationwide and its average retention rate on health and social care apprenticeship courses is 89%, which is 17% higher than the national average.
The Raffles Bulletin of Zoology is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal published by the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum in Singapore. It covers the taxonomy, ecology, and conservation of Southeast Asian fauna. Supplements are published as and when funding permits and may cover topics that extend beyond the normal scope of the journal depending on the targets of the funding agency. It was established as the Bulletin of the Raffles Museum in 1928 and renamed Bulletin of the National Museum of Singapore in 1961, before obtaining its current title in 1971.

In June 2014, Arnold Hill Academy gained funding from the EFA (Education Funding Agency) to rebuild the Upper School site which had been built in 1959. Morgan was appointed Secretary of State for Education in Prime Minister David Cameron's reshuffle in July 2014, replacing Michael Gove. In September 2014, Morgan was questioned by Parliament's Education Select Committee following a report by London University's Institute of Education on conflicts of interest between academies and their financial backers. The report failed to find evidence that academies were undertaking competitive tendering or that they were being properly monitored by the Education Funding Agency (EFA). It also said that previous reports had also questioned the capability of the EFA to fund and finance academies.
A major part of most of these contracts is a stipulation that a pre-determined number of reports are submitted to the funding agency. The Motor Vehicle Training Centre situated in Haywards Way, off the Ridge in Hastings, offers qualifications and hands-on training in all aspects of vehicle maintenance, repair and restoration. The Motor vehicle centre was formerly located in Bexhill but moved to a new location in 2012/13. The new premises were 50% funded by a capital grant from the Skills Funding Agency (SFA). The centre has IMI (Institute of Motor Industry) accreditation and approval to deliver E3 and Levels 1 to 3 motor vehicle maintenance and repair, and apprenticeships at level 2 and 3.
As a result of the support received from various research institutes, universities, the scientific community and the funding agency, the Department of Atomic Energy, a Neutrino Collaboration Group (NCG) was established to study the possibility of building an India-based Neutrino Observatory (INO). The collaboration was assigned the task of doing the feasibility studies for which funds were made available by the DAE. Access to Music (now Access Creative College) was a UK-based independent training provider which specialised in industry-focused popular music and creative education. It operated across England with dedicated music colleges in Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Darlington, Great Yarmouth, Lincoln, London, Manchester, Norwich, and York. Its head office was in Birmingham. Access to Music was funded by the Education Funding Authority (EFA) and the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) and worked in partnership with other UK educational institutions, including Birmingham City University (BCU) and the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM).
Cinar had also paid American screenwriters for work while continuing to accept federal grants and tax credits for the production of domestic content, although the names of Canadian citizens (generally non- writers connected to Cinar, including Charest's sister Helene) were credited for their work. While criminal charges were not filed, Cinar denied any wrongdoing, choosing instead to pay a settlement to Canadian and Quebec tax authorities of $17.8 million (CAD) and another $2.6 million (CAD) to Telefilm Canada, a Canadian federal funding agency. After sufficient funds had been contributed, it was announced that a violin competition would take place in 1987. A non-profit organization, the Leopold Mozart Board of Trustees was founded on 7 July 1986 as operator of the international competition and as funding agency of the conservatory, later the College of Music Nuremberg-Augsburg, now the Leopold Mozart Center of the University of Augsburg. The WEA is divided into nine regions in England, a Scottish Association and over 500 local branches. In August 2012, the college took over from the University of Lincoln the delivery of further education courses being run at Riseholme College. Sciascia toured with the Maori Theatre Trust in the 1970s, and founded the Ngāti Kahungunu kapa haka group, Tamatea Ariki Nui, in 1977. He was the latter group's leader, tutor and composer until 1991. He was a member of the organising committee for the international exhibition Te Maori, which toured the United States and New Zealand from 1984 to 1987, and also contributed to the exhibition's catalogue. Since 1995 Media Lab has collaborated in, generated and coordinated research and development projects funded by the European Commission, Tekes (the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation), Nordic Council, UNESCO and a number of industrial partners, including Nokia, Elisa, TeliaSonera, Sanoma, YLE and MTV3. In 1998 the lab became an official department at the university. In January 2000 the Media Centre Lume – the National Research and Development Center of audiovisual media – was officially opened. As the war neared its end, many prominent scientists feared a peacetime Kilgore plan. The Kilgore Committee, in an effort to mollify scientists concerned with a government-run funding agency, proposed calling the proposed organization a Foundation, to give the superficial impression of a private, philanthropic funding body like the Rockefeller Foundation. The former Quinton Works, originally built in 1890 as a cycle factory, situated at the junction of Mile Lane and Quinton Road was acquired by the Swift Motor Company in 1905. During World War I the factory contributed to the war-effort, producing munitions, military bicycles, Hispano-Suiza and Renault aircraft engines. The frontage of the Quinton Works has been restored and integrated with a newly built Ibis Hotel, whilst most of the rest of the former site has been knocked down. New developments in this part of Cheylesmore include Cheylesmore House which is the national headquarters of the Skills Funding Agency, a technology park for Coventry University, and residential housing.

SOLAS was conceived at The Rosetta Foundation Design Fest in San Francisco, 5–6 February 2011. Stanmore College is in the London Borough of Harrow and was established as a tertiary college in 1987. In 1993 all colleges in the post-16 sector ceased to be controlled by their local education authorities and Stanmore College became a Corporation funded by the Further Education Funding Council, and since 2001 by the Learning and Skills Council, which has been replaced by successor organisations: the Skills Funding Agency and the Young People’s Learning Agency. The College facilitates learning from Further Education (the Sixth Form) to Part-Time (Courses for Adults) and Employer Training. Its Sixth Form provides education to an average of 1,500 16- to 19-year-old school leavers.

The subscription arrangements were subsequently disclosed, in an embargoed letter from IfL's Chief Executive Toni Fazaeli to employers on 4 February 2011, prior to informing members on 8 February 2011. Standard membership fees were originally due to rise from £30 per year (government paid) to £68 (for 18 months in the transitional period), as IfL membership would no longer be fully funded by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS). Previously membership had been at no cost to members required to join IfL by the Further Education Teachers’ Continuing Professional Development and Registration (England) Regulations 2007 or through requirements placed on learning providers by the Skills Funding Agency (SFA).

IN 1984, Hawke appointed Charles Perkins as Secretary of the Department of Aboriginal Affairs, making him the first Indigenous Australian to head a Commonwealth department. In 1989 the Hawke Government replaced the Department of Aboriginal Affairs with an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission as the main administrative and funding agency for Indigenous Australians.
