All flavors of Pull 'n' Peel and Twists, and cherry and black licorice flavored Bites and Nibs are kosher certified by the Orthodox Union. Strawberry Twizzlers; cherry Pull 'n' Peel, Bites, Twists and Nibs; black licorice Twizzlers; and chocolate flavored Twizzlers do not contain animal gelatin or other animal products, and are approved as a vegan- edible candy.

It is used as a fruit punch concentrate and some claim that a red colored fruit syrup called fassionola was an ingredient in the original Hurricane cocktail. Although a frequent attribution, solid evidence of fassionola's use in the Hurricane from before 1956 is currently lacking, and it is not known what were the precise ingredients in the earliest version of fassionola.

By 1988, the juice content had been reduced (packaging now said "with fruit juices" instead of "10% fruit juices"), the slogan was changed to "Either you got it or you don't", and the Apple and Cherry Cola flavors had been discontinued. By 1990, the packaging had been redesigned, and the juice content dropped entirely. The line of flavors was also expanded again, this time with flavors more similar to competitors like Crush, including Strawberry, Pineapple, Fruit Punch, and Grape. At the Long Hampton Hospital, Dr Jimmy Nookey (Jim Dale) seems to attract trouble, beginning with an incident in the women's washroom which he'd mistakenly entered, frightening the highly strung Miss Armitage out of her senses. Nookey's carefree manner isn't to everyone's liking at the hospital, with Dr. Stoppidge (Charles Hawtrey) wanting Nookey sacked for the washroom incident. Accident-prone Nookey then quickly falls in love with a film star patient named Goldie Locks (Barbara Windsor). With the hospital Matron (Hattie Jacques) and his moody boss Dr. Frederick Carver (Kenneth Williams) watching his every move, Dr. Nookey drinks a fruit punch spiked by jealous Dr. Stoppidge at the staff party.

He lives with them, works in Carter's home lab and has been spiking Trudy's fruit punch with the formula that he and Carter are developing. Carter's goal is to eliminate all disease so that people can live forever; Oliver's goal is something quite different. Carter's project stalls and he breaks into Rockwell Labs for Digenerol, the chemical he needs for his experiments. He does not know who Oliver actually is or that, with the help of Elsu the gardener (Wolfe Barzell), Oliver is secretly assembling what he calls a "perfect being", for Oliver Frank is actually Oliver Frankenstein, grandson of the original Dr. Frankenstein.

Eumcheongnyu can be divided into the categories of cha (차 tea), tang (탕 boiled water), jang (장 fermented grain juice with sour taste), suksu (숙수), galsu (갈수 thirst water), hwachae (화채 fruit punch), sikhye (식혜 sweet rice drink), sujeonggwa (수정과 persimmon drink), milsu or kkulmul (밀수, 꿀물 honeyed water), jeup (즙 juice) and milk by their ingredient materials and preparation methods. It was founded in 2011 by Lance Collins, founder of Fuze Beverage and NOS Energy Drink, and Mike Repole, co-founder of Energy Brands, vitaminwater, and Smartwater. In March 2013, Kobe Bryant purchased a large stake in the company, joining the board of directors and becoming the third largest shareholder, a position that his widow Vanessa still holds. In the summer of 2018, The Coca-Cola Company purchased a minority stake in the company to position BodyArmor as a premium sports drink above its own Powerade brand.

Meanwhile, the board of trustees for the school, which include Abby's parents, deliberates on the matter. Miss McVane detests the merger, but can do little about it because of the school's financial problems. As the St. Ambrose dance arrives, Verena and Momo concoct a plan to cast the boys' academy in a bad light, by spiking the fruit punch with alcohol from the chemistry lab and feeding them Tweety's ipecac to induce vomiting during their choir performance; Verena then plants empty liquor bottles in their school bus. A large prospective cohort study showed an approximate doubling of the risk of Type II Diabetes in women who consumed at least one sugary drink per day when compared to women who consumed on average less than one sugary drink daily. This risk seemed to further be linked to an increase in BMI (Body Mass Index) that is associated with obesity and weight gain over the time course of follow-up in the study. It is made by freezing flavored liquid such as sugar water, fruit juice or purée inside a plastic casing or tube, either round or flat. Pop Shoppe Pop enjoyed a regional popularity with residents of Portland, Oregon and surrounding environs as it was featured as the grand prize for winners of the "Smile Contest" and birthday celebrants on KPTV's "The Ramblin' Rod Show", Circa 1977, there were 26 original flavours distributed from the Indianapolis bottling plant: Cola, Cream Soda, Fruit Punch, Grape, Ginger Ale, Grapefruit, Lemon, Lemon-Lime, Lime Rickey, Orange, Pineapple, Root Beer, Strawberry, Tonic Water, Soda Water, Black Cherry, Cherry Cola, Diet Black Cherry, Diet Cherry Cola, Diet Cola, Diet Ginger Ale, Diet Grapefruit, Diet Lemon, Diet Orange, Diet Root Beer and Diet Strawberry. In the early 1980s, sales slowed, largely blamed on competition from private label grocery store soft drink brands. The original company ceased operations in 1983 and its trademarks expired in 1993. A few small soft drink bottlers in the U.S. have at times sold pop using some of the millions of bottles and cases left abandoned by the closure; those were not related or authorized brands.

It's been implied that one of the reasons Max didn't do too well at school is George and Angie's constant arguing which makes it hard for him to concentrate on his studies, though his parents don't seem to care or even attempt to change even after Max practically broke down informing them of this, though it was implied he simply used it as an excuse in order to explain his getting a D in history at the time. Although he doesn't have Carmen's low self-esteem, he succumbs to peer pressure, and does outlandish things such as dyeing his hair purple, telling Benny to "take her tired ass home" (and being slapped in the face), and giving his garage to a band. Max once ended up in the hospital for alcohol poisoning after drinking grain alcohol mixed with fruit punch at a party. He easily gives in to peer pressure mainly because he got bullied in grade school (much like George used to) which prompted him to believe that he must follow the crowd in order to avoid being tormented.
