In the pilot episode, Brainwave, Gambler, Icicle, Shade, Solomon Grundy, Sportsmaster, Tigress, and Wizard attacked the JSA in Blue Valley and killed most of its members; with Icicle fatally wounding its leader Starman. 10 years after their victory, the Injustice Society operate in Blue Valley under their civilian identities while Fiddler's wife Anaya Bowin fills in for him. After Courtney Whitmore finds Starman's Cosmic Staff and forms a new Justice Society however, the Injustice Society take up arms to stop her as well as enact Project: New America.

The film received mediocre reviews and grossed a modest US$20.2 million in North America. The consensus of review-aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes was: "The cast gives it their all, and Paltrow handles her songs with aplomb, but Country Strongs clichéd, disjointed screenplay hits too many bum notes." She gives Sam the address to a piñata factory while she and Carly went on a helicopter ride, and then gives Sam expired chocolates which makes her sick. Missy even fills in for Sam on iCarly that same night.

After Loose garnered considerable sales and attention, Nelly Furtado announced a tour of Europe and Canada. Nelly stated: The set consisted of a white stage, a multi-leveled band setup with LCD screens, two parallel multi-story white palm trees, a large LED screen, and a white stage curtain. Steve remains with Goldie and fills in for him to a visit to a rival gangster's boat where he is ambushed and nearly killed by their machine gun.

Ayesha learns the routine too, and when she fills in for Valerie, Bear and Ayesha almost kiss, but are interrupted.

For each different group of women, Linda and Gretchen adapt their strategies, such as making up stories about Bob's lack of sexual prowess in order to break the ice, and better sell the sex toys. Meanwhile, Bob is apprehensive when he fills in for his friend as the cook for a college fraternity, Beta Upsilon Pi. However, he finds the frat's members—including Pud, Hefty Jeff, and Turd—to be down to earth, dorky, and friendly.
