Although Revelation loved the Shai Hulud demo, they asked the band to change the name because they thought "it was too difficult to remember". Shai Hulud's first show was a Halloween party, played in late October 1995, at Discount's warehouse for under 50 people.
When David Winogrond and Tyra von Pagenhardt joined in 1985, To Damascus finally had a more stable line-up and began a busy, productive period that would exemplify Juncosa's high-activity work style during those years. The band completed and released its first album, Succumb, which Juncosa had started earlier with former Leaving Trains members Jason Kahn and Tom Hofer filling in on drums and bass, respectively. Shortly afterward, they recorded a second album, Come to Your Senses, distributed by Restless Records, and embarked on a shoestring-budget US tour. To Damascus broke up on friendly terms in 1988 when Winogrond and von Pagenhardt were unable to commit to the touring musician life that Juncosa intended to embark upon.

Car Button Cloth is the seventh studio album by the Lemonheads, and the last under their contract with Atlantic Records. The band, as it were, consisted mostly of Dando himself playing many instruments, including his usual guitars and lead vocals, and Patrick Murphy on drums, along with a series of session musicians and producer Bryce Goggin filling in on other instruments. Following the recording of the album, Bill Gibson, who had played bass on several tracks, joined the band for the supporting tour along with Dando and Murphy. Despite receiving lukewarm reviews and not being as commercially successful as the Lemonheads' previous two albums, It's a Shame About Ray and Come On Feel the Lemonheads, Car Button Cloth has gained a minor cult following in recent years.
Obake is one of Bernocchi's newer ongoing projects, meant to be the place where the energies of Doom and Drone Metal fuse with ambient electronica, noise, the exactness of math-rock, the groove of blues undercurrents harking back to the dawn of hard-rock and the fluid lyrical delivery and musings of a commanding operatic voice. The initial release on RareNoise consisted of Eraldo Bernocchi and Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari, Massimo Pupillo of the group Zu on bass and drummer Balazs Pandi. After some internal shifting (including a short tour with Trevor Dunn (Mr. Bungle, Secret Chiefs 3) filling in on bass, new member Jason Köhnen of Bong- Ra fame was announced in 2013 as the permanent bassist with new recordings commencing this year.
AC/DC were formed in November 1973 by brothers Angus (lead guitar) and Malcolm Young (rhythm guitar), with the original lineup also including vocalist Dave Evans, bassist Larry Van Kriedt and drummer Colin Burgess. The band's first single "Can I Sit Next to You, Girl" was released after the departure of Van Kriedt, with a third Young brother, producer George, filling in on bass. AC/DC subsequently went through numerous early personnel changes, including replacing Dave Evans with Bon Scott in time for the recording of their debut Australian album High Voltage, which also featured contributions from George Young and session drummer Tony Currenti. By early 1975, the band had settled on a lineup of Angus and Malcolm Young, Bon Scott, bassist Mark Evans and drummer Phil Rudd.
On September 17, 2008, the band unexpectedly announced on their Myspace that Spencer Albee, their keyboardist since 1995's Long Division had left the band. Drummer Tony McNaboe explained that Spencer was parting ways on good terms, and that work on a new album would continue as planned with multi-instrumentalist Nigel Hall from Lettuce filling in on keyboards. Hall began to tour as a normal member of the band until he became too busy with other projects to continue as a full- fledged member, still contributing to the recording of the album. On tour the band began to alternate between Hall and Tyler Quist as keyboardists, playing some shows without a keyboardist at all, or having Ryan Zoidis and Dave Noyes take over keyboardist duties on certain songs.
The band left Immortal Records and signed their major label deal with RCA Records. During their fall tour with Anberlin, Straylight Run, and There for Tomorrow, the band announced they would be working on their third studio album at the end of the tour, but decided to part ways before tracking new material. Lead singer Tyson took some personal time off in the last four days of the 2009 Warped Tour and the band had tour members Craig Mabbitt of Escape the Fate, Brandon Bolmer formerly of Chiodos, Vic Fuentes of Pierce the Veil and Cove Reber, formerly of Saosin, filling in on vocals for the rest of the tour. On November 30, 2009, Pouyan posted an official statement declaring that by mutual agreement the group had disbanded.
When Austin Carlile, lead singer of Of Mice & Men, was forced to refrain from touring due to heart surgery, the band asked Roush to substitute for Carlile while they played on Alesana's The Emptiness Tour. Roush was featured on the band's cover of "Blame It", originally performed by Jamie Foxx and T-Pain, which was released on the Fearless Records compilation album Punk Goes Pop 3. Roush's membership with the band lasted several months until Alternative Press announced on January 3, 2011, that Carlile would be returning to Of Mice & Men along with collaborator, Alan Ashby. This had Roush without a musical project for little more than a month, until it was announced on Roush's Twitter that he would be filling-in on vocals for the band American Me on their tour in Japan.
This resulted in Robin Guy (of the band Rachel Stamp) filling in on drums for Bordin during a UK Top of the Pops performance on May 30, as well as an absence of any Faith No More shows during the month of June. Shortly after he returned from Ozzfest, the band had to cancel four July dates in Europe, so Bordin could attend the birth of his first daughter in San Francisco. The Album of the Year tour is notable for featuring Limp Bizkit, a nu metal/rap metal band greatly influenced by Faith No More, as an opener for several 1997 US dates. They were frequently booed by Faith No More's fans, including during a September 1997 concert at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, where the crowd booed them off stage.
In 2008, the band set out to start recording their first full-length album of new material since 2001's ¡Viva Nueva!. (Some of Light At The End's music was previously recorded before the band broke up in 2002, and all but four songs had been previously played live before the break-up.) On September 17, 2008, the band announced on their Myspace that Albee, their keyboard player since 1995's Long Division had left the band. Drummer Tony McNaboe explained that Albee was leaving on good terms, and that the album would continue as planned with multi-instrumentalist Nigel Hall from Lettuce filling in on keyboards. On October 17, 2008, the band premiered the song "The Smallest Spark" at The Asylum in Portland, the first new song of the album to be played live.
The bass position was filled by Vastator and Kult ov Azazel continued on as a five piece. With this lineup the band headlined the only show for the year in Miami, FL during the month of October at the first annual Black Kvlt Fest. The year 2014 was spent on further writing of the new album and more pre-production on it. The band headlines both Wrath of the Goat III & IV with Archangel Sin Scythe (Led By Serpents/Element Of Eclipse) filling in on drums for the WotG III Festival in Wilkes-Barre, PA and with Paul Collier (ex-Angel Corpse) filling in drums for the WotG IV held in Chicago, IL. In October 2014 Kult ov Azazel announce that Hag (ex-Pact) had joined the band as vocalist.
Plant was unhappy with both performances, saying that "it was like sleeping with your ex-wife but not making love." At the 1990 Silver Clef Award Winners Concert at Knebworth, Plant was joined by Jimmy Page. Some of their set was released on the subsequent live album and video. In 1995, Led Zeppelin were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Plant performed at the induction show with Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Jason Bonham, Neil Young, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, performing spirited versions of "Bring It On Home", "Honeybee" and "When the Levee Breaks". After years of reunion rumours, Led Zeppelin performed a full two-hour set on 10 December 2007 at the Ahmet Ertegün Tribute Concert, with Jason again filling in on drums.
The Walla Walla was originally assigned to the San Juan Islands, however in its first year of service it was reassigned to the Seattle-Bainbridge route for which ridership better aligned with the high capacity of the Jumbo-class vessels. After being replaced on the Seattle–Winslow route by the Jumbo Mark II-class ferry, the ship began serving as a fill-in vessel for whenever one of the larger ferries goes into scheduled maintenance periods; usually she can be found on either the Seattle–Bremerton or Edmonds–Kingston routes. Occasionally the Walla Walla will still end up filling in on the Seattle–Bainbridge Island run where it spent its early years. In late July 2014, the Jumbo Mark II class ferry, MV Wenatchee went up to Vancouver, BC for repairs.

Cummings made his debut for the "Royals" on 12 September 2009, in a 0–0 draw with Doncaster Rovers at the Madejski Stadium. However he was unable to hold down a regular starting place, making just seven further appearances under Rodgers. With Reading struggling in the league, Rodgers was sacked in December and under his successor, Brian McDermott, Cummings did not make another appearance for the rest of the 2009–10 season. The 2010–11 season followed a similar pattern for Cummings with Andy Griffin preferred at right-back. He made just 12 appearances during the season, but did play an important role in Reading's 3–0 play-off semi-final second leg win over Cardiff City, filling in on the right-wing and earning plaudits for his performance.
Radio Sloan (far right) performing with Peaches and the Herms in 2006 After the initial break up of The Need in 2001, both members remained active in music; recording, touring and performing with a number of different artists. Radio Sloan formed Circuit Side (named after the opening track from The Need is Dead) who released a self-titled EP, collaborated with Nicole Georges for the band Fact or Fiction and temporarily joined Scarling, filling in on bass for the band's live performances. Rachel Carns formed The King Cobra who played one of their earliest shows at the first ever Homo A Go Go Festival in Olympia in 2002. Following several releases and tours supporting Tracy + the Plastics, Erase Errata and Shoplifting, The King Cobra changed their name to TWIN in 2006.
Also in this stint in the WWF, Johnny V was known to do commentary on matches from time to time (filling in on Wrestling Challenge for fellow heel manager/commentator Bobby "The Brain" Heenan when he had to leave the broadcast booth to manage one of his wrestlers) and introduced the team of Demolition (Ax and Smash before the original Smash (Moondog Rex) was replaced by Barry Darsow due to fans recognizing him as one of The Moondogs). After a few months, Demolition was managed by Mr. Fuji. One of Valiant's last appearances as a manager in the WWF was at the 1987 Survivor Series. After this show, Valiant was phased out as manager of the New Dream Team and was then relegated to the role of a wrestler once again, as a jobber to the stars.
On 7 May 2010, Kelson Mathias announced his departure from the band via a blog on the band's MySpace profile. On the same day, in a separate blog, Andy Falkous announced that Steven Hodson (the bass player of Oceansize and Kong) would be filling in on bass for their upcoming shows, and also that the band had a "soon-to- revealed fourth member, whose main role(s) in the band are to play guitar and act like a fucking maniac". The band played summer dates around the UK and were also working on new material for a third album, playing a few new tracks at these dates. Julia Ruzicka, ex-member and co-founder of Million Dead, made her live debut with the band on 17 September and confirmation of her permanent role was made via the band's Myspace blog on 21 October.
While strong reviews and press continued to pour in, the prospects for major indie record deal seemed to drift further and further away so the band decided to release the album worldwide via Majesphere in September 2003. Shortly thereafter, the band parted ways with drummer, Scott Lang, in October 2003 and replaced him with Chuck White (ex-Michael Angelo Batio, Winterkill, Spirit Web) in December 2003. Additionally, Andy Bunk (ex-Braindance), who joined Ion Vein on bass in December 2002, announced his departure in November 2003, and rhythm guitarist, John Malufka, announced his retirement from being an active musician in February 2004. Gordon returned to the fold on bass as a full-time member once again in September 2004 and the band continued as a four piece with Andy Parades (ex-Talamasca) temporarily filling in on rhythm guitar when possible for live dates.
After the Minnesota High School League sanctioned curling as a letter sport in 1968, Bemidji teams were runners-up on four occasions until the sport was dropped by the MHSL in 1977. On January 4, 1949, the roof of the skating side of the arena collapsed from the snow. The skating side had been used to make five extra sheets of ice to accommodate the Paul Bunyan Bonspiel which now had to limit the play from 12 end games to 10 end games. During the two term presidency of Floyd Hirt (1949–51) who encouraged and promoted women's curling, the women began curling by filling in on the men's rinks which were short of curlers. Through the efforts of Theresa Jackson, the women's first president, Carole Daniel, Margaret Burns, Evelyn Malm Justin, Carolyn Hirt, Norma Olson and Dona Mae Naylor and others, the women's curling club chartered during 1951-52.
The group began when Jamie Hooper, Sunny Dhak, and Bobby Froese, along with Geoff Trawick and Rich Trawick filling in on drums and bass, got together to do a one-off reunion gig for an old group of theirs, but things went so well with writing new material in a traditional metal style that they decided to continue under a new moniker. Rich Trawick's roommate, Steve Bays (keyboard player for Hot Hot Heat), heard the demo of the band's first recording and suggested having his friend Cam Pipes overdub some clean vocals to it. Pipes overdubbed additional vocals to what became the band's first EP, Sect of the White Worm, and became a permanent band member after the results proved to the rest of the band's liking. Their debut album Battlecry Under a Wintersun was recorded in 2002 and released in cooperation with the Teenage Rampage and Fashion Before Function labels.
In September 2009, Yotam Ben-Horin has finished recording his solo acoustic album, and started writing material for the next Useless ID album. The Muki and Useless ID collaboration album was released on January 7, 2010, followed by an official release show on January 28, 2010, at the Barby club in Tel Aviv. In May 2010, frontman Yotam Ben-Horin confirmed that he had written most of the material for the band's next album, with only some writing left and plans to record the album in the end of 2010. In July 2010, the band went on a European tour with Gideon Berger of Kill the Drive filling in on drums, as the band's drummer Yonatan Harpak could not leave the country. In February 2011, the band recorded and mixed their next album at the Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado with producer Bill Stevenson, with whom they had worked on their previous two albums.
Song titles such as: Bawkbakwak Bawkbagone, Warrior Needs Food, Badly, Frank Lloyd Wrong and Login with my fist, rarely conformed to standard structure, however according to band members in multiple interviews, the song titles almost always are inspired by or inspire the lyrical content of the songs, unlike other bands with lengthy song titling such as Don Caballero (who do not have vocals) and Minus the Bear. The band recorded their first record Winterval with Bob Weston of the band Shellac, triggering understandable comparisons to that band. Shortly afterwards, bass player Dan Kennedy left the band. The lineup solidified in 2001 when Indiana expatriate Ben Adrian joined the band on bass guitar. Adrian often joked that he was still "filling in" on bass 6 years later. 2002 and 2003 saw the band tinker with sound effects, taking the sampling (or "grand theft audio" as Neutron put it) practices of Steel Pole Bathtub and adding this to their developing aggressive and chaotic sound, as well as keyboard.
A band member had incorrectly claimed the main reason for the delay was that they had signed a major label record deal with Warner Music Group, but in fact they had self-financed the distribution of the album using Warners owned distribution network Alternative Distribution Alliance and remain unsigned. Due to Tyson's touring commitments with Robert Plant to promote the latter's latest album Carry Fire (which includes several songs co-written by Tyson), he was unable to participate in Cast's U.K. shows from late November to mid-December 2017. In his absence, Lewis switched from bass to lead guitar, and filling in on bass was Martyn Campbell, best known as a member of The Lightning Seeds and a close friend of O'Neill's who had toured together with the drummer as part of Kealer's backing band. Campbell had also played bass on Power's debut solo album Happening for Love and on Richard Ashcroft albums.
The initial goal of $1,000 was quickly surpassed and reached about $72,000 in 24 hours, while continuing to raise funds in the following weeks. Hydra Head Records released a fundraising package deal with all proceeds going to his family, which included a special reissue set of Zozobra's Harmonic Tremors and Bird of Prey, a two- song cassette EP of unreleased Zozobra tracks and an Old Man Gloom tribute shirt. Cave In and Old Man Gloom will host two fundraising shows with 100% of the proceeds going to Scofield's family—a Boston show on June 13, 2018 with Converge, Young Widows and a reunited The Cancer Conspiracy; and a Los Angeles show on October 13, 2018 with Pelican, 27 and Celestial (a one-off reunion of the band Isis under a different name). Filling in on bass for Cave In, Old Man Gloom and Zozobra songs at the Boston benefit show was Nate Newton of Converge, Stephen Brodsky, and Scofield's brother Kyle.
In interviews on the DVD, Eric Peterson expressed his desire to record the follow-up to The Gathering with the classic Testament lineup. He also stated that Alex Skolnick had begun writing songs for the new album. Chuck Billy was very vocal about how happy he was to have Alex, Greg, Louie, and John Tempesta in the band once again, and hoped to maintain a stable lineup going forward. Also in 2005, Testament's long-out of print documentary Seen Between the Lines was released on DVD for the first time. Testament played for the first time in the Middle East at the Dubai Desert Rock festival in March 2006. Other notable bands that performed for the Desert Rock Festival were Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Reel Big Fish and 3 Doors Down. In July 2007, the band played a show at Jaxx Nightclub in Springfield, Virginia, with Paul Bostaph filling in on drum duties. It was later confirmed that Bostaph would be officially returning to the band to record the new album.
The album was recorded in a home-made studio at Headfort House in Kells. The album was released on 15 February 2008 and received generally favourable reviews in the Irish media. On the same day the band won the Hope for 2008 Award at the Meteor Music Awards. The band released three more singles from the album 2008, "Keepsake", "Never Talk" and "Broken Glass", and embarked on tours of Ireland and the UK, including spots at Glastonbury and Electric Picnic. On 6 November 2009, Ham Sandwich released "Out of the Darkness", the first single from their planned sophomore album, although it did not appear on the album when it was eventually released. On 12 April 2010, Moore left the band, citing a "typographical error". On 15 July 2010 the band's manager, Derek Nally, died after suffering a heart attack. Despite the personal turmoil, the band re- entered the studio to start work on their second album afresh, with Karl Odlum returning as producer as well as filling in on bass guitar duties for the departed Moore.

She moved from A Current Affair in 2005, during a revamp of the programme to combat a ratings slump against rival Seven Network's Today Tonight. Sloane was then promoted to full-time news presenter at the Nine Network, filling in on the National Nine Early News alongside Sarah Murdoch, and Nightline. In 2006 she was appointed permanent presenter of National Nine News Afternoon Edition, replacing Mike Munro. In April 2007, Sloane moved to co-hosting Today working with Karl Stefanovic as the stand-in replacement co- host for Jessica Rowe, who was on maternity leave at the time, however Rowe announced that she was leaving the Nine Network on 6 May 2007. On 10 May 2007, in one of the most memorable incidents on Today, Sloane collapsed live on air. The collapse occurred at 8:10am during a cooking segment with celebrity chef Tobie Puttock, of Jamie Oliver fame. It was reported that she was okay after the incident and Sloane returned to the presenters desk about 15 minutes later, allegedly attributing the "dizzy spell" to her 3am wake-up call. Vision of Sloane collapsing in slow motion later went viral on social media with YouTube.
