Genai Kerr is an American water polo player. He is a member of the United States men's national water polo team and played in the 2004 Athens Olympics..USA Water Polo Men's National Team Genai was a member of the United States Men's National Water Polo Team for 12 years and played in the 2004 Athens Olympics, 2003 & 2007 Pan American Gold Medal games, and multiple World Championships. He is one of the only athletes in history to compete internationally as a goalie and as a field player. John William Sattler (born 28 July 1942), Peter Sattler was John's grandfather, a German immigrant who arrived in Maitland NSW late 1890's aged 6. John is a former professional and national representative rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s and 1970s. He was a rugged Prop forward who captained his club, South Sydney to four premiership victories from 1967 to 1971 and who played four Tests for Australia – three as national captain. Known as "Satts", he was one of the hardmen of Australian rugby league and was regarded an aggressive on field player but a softly spoken gentleman off the field - hence his other nickname "Gentleman John".

The major Frisian handball tournament, called the P.C. (short for Permanent Committee), has been held in the city of Franeker since 1854 and is considered the oldest regular sports tournament in the world. Frisian handball is played on a rectangular lawn of 61 meters by 32 meters, by two teams composed of 3 players. Vladimir Maksimov Vladimir Salmanovich Maksimov (; born October 14, 1945 in Kant, Kirghiz SSR) is a Soviet/Russian handball player. After his retirement as an active field player, he was chosen as a coach for the Russian national team, with which he won all three major titles in handball (European champion in 1996, world champion twice in 1993 and 1997 and Olympic champion in 2000). He is, with Claude Onesta for France, the only coach for a national handball team to have obtained these three titles. As an active player, he was on the team who competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics (three matches played, fifth place) and in the 1976 Summer Olympics (gold medal).

Born in Paramaribo, Suriname, Menzo arrived at Eredivisie giants Ajax Amsterdam at the age of 19, from amateurs A.V.V. Newly appointed manager Johan Cruyff believed that Menzo was one of the first goalkeepers who could also make his mark as a field player. Kovácsik began his career as a youth player by Budapest Honvéd FC. He played first as a field player, however, yet at the age of seven stood between the sticks. In 2002, he moved to city rivals Ferencvárosi TC. In his second year by Ferencváros, Kovácsik won the Christmas Cup ahead of the youth sides of A.C. Milan and FC Barcelona. In 2006, he was member of the team that won the European final of the Nike Premier Cup, one of the most prestigious tournaments in the younger age categories. Born in Nacala, Portuguese Mozambique from a colonial White African family, Costa Pereira was noticed by S.L. Benfica while playing with Clube Ferroviário de Lourenço Marques. He signed with the Portuguese in 1954 and immediately became first- choice, playing 26 games in his first season and winning the first of his eight national championships. Internationally, Costa Pereira won two consecutive European Cup with Benfica in 1961 and 1962, and lost two finals in 1963 and 1965. In the latter, against Inter Milan at the San Siro, a Jair late attempt into the first half slid under his body and entered the net, for the game's only goal – he was also injured shortly after, and had to be replaced by field player Germano since replacements were not allowed, and Benfica played more than 30 minutes with ten players.
