Masculinity, femininity and "ghenos" or lineage linked to legendary progenitors were fundamental concepts of family identity in the Etruscan and Ancient Greek eras. The Greeks demonstrated the principles of family functionality in the mythological lives of Zeus, Hera, Hestia and Hermes. Delta (born August 27, 1985) is a Mexican Luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler currently working for the Mexico City based professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). Delta's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. Delta is the son of wrestler Trueno and previously wrestled as Hijo del Trueno ("Son of Thunder"), his brother currently works for CMLL wrestling under the ring name Trueno like their father, although the family relationship has not been publicly acknowledged by CMLL.

Li Gui (; died 619), courtesy name Chuze (), was the emperor of a short-lived state of Liang, which he established at the end of the Chinese Sui Dynasty. He governed the parts of modern Gansu west of the Yellow River. In 618, he briefly considered submitting to Emperor Gaozu of Tang (Li Yuan), with whom they both believed he had a distant family relationship, but ultimately rejected the idea. For over a century and five generations, the family dominated Cirebon's Chinese officership, a civil government institution consisting of the ranks of Majoor, Kapitein and Luitenant der Chinezen through which the Dutch governed the local Chinese community of the colony. The first known member of the family, Tan Kong Djan, was Kapitein der Chinezen of Cirebon in the mid-1820s. Cyfoesi Myrddin a Gwenddydd ei Chwaer ("The Conversation of Myrddin and His Sister Gwenddydd") establishes their family relationship, and is unique among the Welsh Myrddin poems in showing Gwenddydd and her brother on friendly terms. In 1950, George Eastman (Montgomery Clift), the poor nephew of rich industrialist Charles Eastman (Herbert Heyes), arrives in town following a chance encounter with his uncle while working as a bellhop in a Chicago hotel. The elder Eastman invites George to visit him if and when he ever comes to town, and the ambitious young man takes advantage of the offer. Another sub-group of the Ta-Oi is called as Paco (Pa coh), which means "persons who live behind the mountains." Judging by the family clan origin, marriage and family relationship and language, the Ba hi people who mainly lives in Hướng Hóa District, Quảng Trị Province, can be regarded as a local sub-group of the Ta-oi. The Ta-oi in Nham commune explain that they called themselves as Ta uot, but the members of the Kinh ethnic group coming from the lowlands of Thừa Thiên–Huế called them as Ta-oi. The Ta uot group lives mainly in middle-level of mountains and are sparsely distributed in the mountain tops.

Often, the family member and the addict will participate in the counselling where the addict will join alcohol and drug treatment programs whilst the other family members will attend therapy sessions in which the addict will take part in after completing its recovery program. This systemic intervention allows the better family relationship as they will learn to understand one another such as how their behaviour affect the other person, through the therapy. Snouck Hurgronje explained that his grandfather was a respected scholar as Sheikh of Sadah for 50 years and died in Mecca in 1823 CE/1238 AH. His father moved to Mecca when Uthman was 3 years old, so Uthman was taken care of by his grandfather, Aqil. His grandfather has many other sons, besides the father of Uthman. Many of his sons became scholars in Mecca, such as Sayyid Ishaq, who died in the city of Ta'if, and Sayyid Qasim who continued Agil's leadership as Shaikh of Sada in Mecca. Uthman had family relationship with Habib Ali Kwitang through one of his daughters named Sidah, who married Abdul Qadir, the brother of Habib Ali Kwitang.

Despite that family relationship, Peter's relation to the Borsas was ambiguous and fluctuating. Christian Julien Robin suggests that this structure of the divine world reflected the society of the time. A large number of deities did not have proper names and were referred to by titles indicating a quality, a family relationship, or a locale preceded by "he who" or "she who" (dhū or dhāt respectively). Working as "Taurus" in January 2013 When he finally made his in-ring debut, he adopted the name "Taurus" in order to gain experience as a wrestler without revealing his family relationship. Antheus Ortiz Chávez, better known under the ring name Hijo de Pirata Morgan (born February 28, 1992 in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) portraying a tecnico ("Good guy") wrestling character. Hijo de Pirata Morgan's real name was not a matter of public record until March 16, 2013 where he lost his wrestling mask and had to reveal his real name. This is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans while they are masked. He is legitimately the son of professional wrestler Pedro Ortiz Villanueva, better known as Pirata Morgan, and not a storyline family relationship as it sometimes the case in Lucha Libre.

This part extends the definition of child cruelty to incorporate abuse, neglect or psychological damage, and amends existing legislation relating to paedophile material to include publications that advise on how to commit or facilitate sexual offences against children. Fitzpatrick v Sterling Housing Association Ltd was a 1999 legal case heard by the Judicial Committee of the House of Lords regarding the meaning of the word 'family' with regards to the Rent Act 1977. Bálint Kis considered the baron and Béla III were distant cousins as they had common ancestors, presumably 11th-century rulers Béla I or Géza I. Szabolcs Vajay argued ispán Bors, who was elected anti-king against Stephen II in 1128 or 1129 was a relative of the monarch by maternal side and was also a direct ancestor of Dominic and his kindred. Historian Tamás Kádár argued the using of bit nonsensical word "cognatus" in the aforementioned documents excludes the close blood (cousins) and marriage (brothers-in-law) family relationship between Béla III and Dominic Miskolc.

Dragon Lee also works for Ring of Honor, where he is the current ROH World Television Champion in his first reign, and New Japan Pro- Wrestling (NJPW), under the name Ryu Lee, where he is a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion. Dragon Lee is the son of professional wrestler Arturo Muñoz, known under the ring name La Bestia del Ring, where the family relationship is publicly acknowledged.

Marianna Fontanella was born in Turin in 1661 as the ninth of eleven children to the nobleman Giovanni Fontanella, Count of Santena, and his wife, Maria Tana. Being of the sentiment that Minamoto's leadership philosophy/practice will lead to his esper charges becoming exactly what Hyobu wants, Fujiko relieves Minamoto of his esper guardian duties to polish/refine him and generally shake things up not understanding that his relationship with Kaoru/Shiho/Aoi is a hybrid professional/family relationship. In her first appearance she immediately earns The Children's wrath by kissing Minamoto (as well as kissing them as well) and later earns their full fury by separating them from Minomoto.

Jackson found in the archived Coon papers records of repeated efforts by Coon to aid Putnam's efforts to provide intellectual support to the ongoing resistance to racial integration, but cautioned Putnam against statements that could identify Coon as an active ally (Jackson also noted that both men had become aware that they had General Israel Putnam as a common ancestor, making them (at least distant) cousins, but Jackson indicated neither when either learned of the family relationship nor whether they had a more recent common ancestor).

The revived Orange Order mobilized the opposition, warning that a Dublin parliament dominated by Catholics and nationalists would discriminate against them and would impose tariffs on trade with Great Britain. In 1889, the scandal surrounding Parnell's divorce proceedings split the Irish party, when it became public that Parnell, popularly acclaimed as the 'Uncrowned King of Ireland', had for many years been living in a family relationship with Mrs. Katharine O'Shea, the long-separated wife of a fellow MP. When the scandal broke, religious non-conformists in Great Britain, who were the backbone of the pro-Home Rule Liberal Party, forced its leader W. E. Gladstone to abandon support for the Irish cause as long as Parnell remained leader of the IPP.

Tiger Kid is part of the Casas wrestling family as he is the son of Jorge Luis Casas (El Felino) and the nephew of Negro Casas and Erick Casas. He made his debut In February 2006, wrestling as "Kid Tiger". Neither Tiger Kid, nor his younger brother Puma King, hid the fact that they were part of the Casas family, and with the use of the feline inspired names and mask that closely resembled the mask worn by El Felino it was speculated that they were the sons of El Felino. This was later denied by Tiger Kid, claiming that they chose their names and masks as a tribute to their favorite uncle. In an interview with SuperLuchas published in early June 2010 El Felino finally revealed that he was indeed the father of both Tiger Kid and Puma King, but had kept it a secret to allow his children to succeed or fail on their own merits and not because of their family relationship to El Felino.

McKellen became active in fighting the proposed law, and, during a BBC Radio 3 programme where he debated Section 28 with the conservative journalist Peregrine Worsthorne, declared himself as a gay."Third Ear: Section 28" , BBC Radio 3, 27 January 1988 McKellen has stated that he was influenced in his decision by the advice and support of his friends, among them noted gay author Armistead Maupin.

The opening match saw the first time teaming of third generation wrestler Soberano Jr. (son of CMLL wrestler Euforia and grandson of wrestler El Soberano) teamed up with second or third generation wrestler Stigma (his exact family relationship to CMLL booking team member Juan Manuel Mar and CMLL wrestler Skándalo has not been revealed, just that there is one.) The two tecnicos (wrestlers who portray the "good guys") take on the brother duo of Los Hombres del Camoflaje ("Men in Camouflage"; Artillero and Super Comando) in the opening match of the show. The much more experienced brothers defeated Stigma and Sobreano, Jr. in three falls. The victory came as a result of Super Comando forcing Stigma to submit to his unique "Comando Clutch" submission hold, followed by Los Hombres applying their Artilleria Pesada double team finishing move, In the second match Ángel Azteca, Jr., Pegasso and Starman teamed up to take on the team of Hijo del Signo, Hooligan and Virus. At the previous week's Super Viernes Virus and Hooligan failed to get along, going so far as to see Virus and Cancerbero attack Hooligan after the match, tearing his mask apart.

The Suda's claim that Hesiod was the father of Stesichorus can be dismissed as "fantasy"Cambell, Loeb page 35 yet it is also mentioned by TzetzesTzetzes Vit.Hes. 18, cited by Campbell, Loeb page 35 and the Hesiodic scholiast ProclusProclus Hes. Op. 271a, cited by Campbell in Loeb page 35 (one of them however named the mother of Stesichorus via Hesiod as Ctimene and the other as Clymene). In 1987, Section 187A of the Crimes Act was inserted, permitting abortion on the grounds of saving the mother's life, mental health, and physical health; foetal abnormality within the 20 weeks gestation period; and incest or sexual intercourse with guardians and family members. In January 1996, the Crimes Amendment Act 1995 inserted Section 20A, which outlaws female genital mutilation within New Zealand, and Section 204B, which deals with ancillary and related offences. In 2002, the Sentencing Act 2002 changed the penalty for murder from mandatory life imprisonment to presumptive life imprisonment; sentencing judges now may waive the mandatory life imprisonment requirement and give a lesser sentence in exceptional ("manifestly unjust") circumstances. In 2018, the Family Violence (Amendments) Act 2018 inserted new offenses relating to strangulation or suffocation (Section 189A), assault on person in a family relationship (Section 194A), coerced marriages or civil unions (Section 207A), and abductions for the purposes of marriage or civil union or sexual connection (Section 208). In March 2020, the Abortion Legislation Act 2020 replaced Sections 182A to 187A with Section 183, which states that abortion is only an offense if a person who is not a health practitioner procures or performs an abortion on a woman.
