Kirby no Kirakira Kizzu is an SNES remake of Kirby's Star Stacker with nearly identical gameplay. The point of the game is to remove falling star blocks by placing matching animal friends (Rick, Coo, and Kine) at either end. "Waiting for a Star to Fall" was written by Shannon Rubicam and George Merrill, and was inspired by an actual falling star that Rubicam had seen during a Whitney Houston concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. The duo did not initially consider recording the song themselves, instead submitting it to Houston's manager Clive Davis, in the hope that he would decide to use it on her next album. Even though Rubicam and Merrill had written Houston's previous hits "How Will I Know" and "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)", Davis rejected "Waiting for a Star to Fall", suggesting that it did not suit her. The song was then offered to and recorded by Belinda Carlisle for her 1987 release Heaven on Earth, at the insistence of her label, but Carlisle disliked it and refused to include it on the album.

June Leavitt June Leavitt (born 1950, New York) is an American-Israeli scholar of Franz Kafka and author of a number of books, both academic and literary, including The Mystical Life of Franz Kafka: Theosophy, Cabala and the Modern Spiritual Revival, and Esoteric Symbols: The Tarot in Yeats, Eliot and Kafka. Leavitt has published two novels, including The Flight to Seven Swan Bay, (1985) for young adults, and Falling Star, the latter of which has been translated into Hebrew (as כוכב נופל). Fragments of her autobiographical work, which first appeared in US News and World Report, have been translated into Hebrew, French (as Vivre a Hebron), and German (as Hebron, Westjordanland: Im Labyrinth des Terrors). Leavitt's memoir, Storm of Terror: A Hebron Mother's Diary documents her life and the lives of her family members and friends under terrorism in the West Bank, beginning in the year 2000 in the midst of Stage II of the First Intifada.

A native of Campti, Louisiana, Hathaway traveled to Los Angeles in 1931 in hopes of playing piano in one of the clubs on Central Avenue, also known as "Black Broadway". Instead, she began her career in the area working as an extra in Hollywood films, usually as an "Egyptian" or an "exotic." After auditioning for Cabin in the Sky, Hathaway was hired as a body double for Lena Horne throughout much of the film; she later worked as Horne's stand-in in Stormy Weather. However, her Hollywood career ended when she refused to play an extra in a biopic about Woodrow Wilson which required her to wear a bandanna and sit on a bale of cotton. She then returned to singing in cabaret in Los Angeles clubs, recording several songs including “Bayou Baby Blues,” “School Girl Blues,” “A Falling Star” and “When Gabriel Blows His Horn” with The Robins and “Here Goes a Fool” as a solo artist.

In 2013 it was announced that Magnus Karlsson would release his first solo musical project called Free Fall on 11 June in North America and 14 June in Europe by Frontiers Records. It features many guest singers who worked with Magnus before, including Russell Allen, Ralf Scheepers, Tony Harnell, Rickard Bengtsson (former bandmate from Last Tribe), Mark Boals (who worked with Magnus in the project The Codex), Mike Andersson (who worked with Magnus in the project Planet Alliance) and other guests like David Readman (Pink Cream 69, Voodoo Circle), Rick Altzi (At Vance, Masterplan) and Herman Saming (A.C.T). Magnus also sings three tracks on the album himself and Daniel Flores (who also worked with Magnus in the project The Codex) recorded the drums. Magnus also wrote songs for the melodic hard rock project Place Vendome, 'My Guardian Angel' from the album Streets of Fire, 'Break Out' from the album Thunder in the Distance and 'Falling Star' from the album Close to the Sun.

Lazar of Serbia speaks at that very moment. The visitor turns around looking at Kosovo field filled with ‘the bones of the dead in great multitude’ and thus the story commences (‘Prologue’). At first, the scene represents a peaceful prosperity, happiness, and beauty (Ravanica Monastery), but it is shortly followed by ‘Forebodings’ (a solar eclipse and the falling star) anticipating a number of calamities and disasters (earthquake, hunger, plague, and raids). The first real catastrophe takes place in 1371, when ‘the wrath of the Lord came upon Serbs’ allowing their bloody slaughter in the Battle of Maritsa. Consequently, after the battle, Lazar's Serbia gets a very evil neighbor, one who assaults our territory, largely raiding, murdering, brutalizing, and imprisoning (‘Menace’). Realizing that the day of the ultimate combat has approached, Prince Lazar at first addresses God for help (‘Prayer’), then summons his noblemen, dukes, and other warriors, and through his solemn and inspiring patriotic ‘Sermon’ invites them to a brave and proud death, to a conscious but dignified sacrifice into the heavenly kingdom in the name of a superior morality, humanity, and justice.
