A forty-foot spire which used to extend above the bell tower was struck by lightning in the 1920s and had to be removed. The "Carnegie" organ no longer exists and the interior has been given a more modern appearance. In 1988 St. Paul's Methodist Churcb merged with another congregation in East Norwich and the Bethel Pentecostal Church moved here Bethel outgrew this building and moved to Westbury, and in 1999 the North Shore Church, part of the Presbyterian Church of America, made this their new home.

The smooth narial fossae are located just behind these, and help to give the snout its broad flattened look. The maxillae are, by quite a long way, the largest and most expansive bones in the skull; each holds nineteen small recurved teeth. They have a narrow alveolar margin at the edge of their broad expanse, giving the head of Anatosuchus a rather rectangular appearance, and broad rami that extend above and below the antorbital opening. The upper of these rami form a long suture with the nasal, and then meet the prefrontal and lacrimal directly above the antorbital fenestra.

To avoid an immediate need for a vehicle launched at orbital velocity to raise its perigee, a tower would have to extend above the edge of space (above the 100 km Kármán line), but a far lower tower height could reduce atmospheric drag losses during ascent. The PC.500 was not a flying wing in that it a had a fuselage, though this was short, with its nose only a little ahead of the leading edge and its underside curving upwards to meet the wing just aft of mid-chord. Great kivas differ from regular kivas, which archeologists call Chaco- style kivas (although Chaco Canyon also features great kivas), in several ways; first and foremost, great kivas are always much larger and deeper than Chaco-style kivas. Whereas the walls of great kivas always extend above the surrounding landscape, the walls of Chaco-style kivas do not, but are instead flush with the surrounding landscape. Chaco-style kivas are often found incorporated into the central room blocks of great houses, but great kivas are always separate from core structures. Great kivas almost always have a bench that encircles the inner space, but this feature is not found in Chaco-style kivas.

In several modes of play, rectangular garbage of various widths and heights can drop onto the player's stack, and can even extend above the top of the playfield. The Masonic Temple and Lodge are two adjacent Masonic buildings in downtown Alameda, California. The older Masonic Temple at 1329–31 Park St was built from 1890 to 1891. . The building was designed in the Victorian Eclectic style and features brick pier which extend above the roof line, a tower on the south side of the roof, and an arched stone entrance with carved doors. If the value is negative, then the lower portion of the atmosphere is unstable, with thunderstorms expected when the value is below −3. The application of the Showalter index is especially helpful when there is a cool, shallow air mass below 850 hPa that conceals the potential convective lifting. However, the index will underestimate the potential convective lifting if there are cool layers that extend above 850 hPa and it does not consider diurnal radiative changes or moisture below 850 hPa.

There is one true island in the bay, Seal Island, a barren and stony outcrop of granite about 200 m long and with an area of about 2 ha. It is about 6km south of Strandfontein and is less than 10 m above sea level at its highest point. The majority of police forces in the United States still ban their officers from wearing beards. Mustaches are generally allowed in both the military and police forces (except for those undergoing basic training), so long as they are well-groomed. U.S. Army regulations, for example, require that a mustaches be "neatly trimmed, tapered, and tidy", and that "no portion of the mustache will cover the upper lip line, extend sideways beyond a vertical line drawn upward from the corners of the mouth...or extend above a parallel line at the lowest portion of the nose." The neck was attached to the body with four screws and an anchor plate, unlike in traditional guitar construction, where a tenon on the neck is glued into the body. Unlike the Esquire, the neck was wider at the nut, and the head had 3 tuners on each side. The prototype differed from the later production guitars in several other respects: the body was made of pinewood, it was painted opaque white, its pickguard did not extend above the strings, it lacked a selector switch, and its volume and tone knobs were mounted on a slanted plate.. Like the production models, it had a removable pickup cover, but unlike the production models, the cover had straight sides.. The prototype had only one pickup, as did Esquires manufactured from 1951 onwards.
