Its realization took almost ten years as a result of revisions needed to comply with UNESCO regulations requiring it not to disturb the old city's skyline. He designed and built a project named "Larus Palas" worth US$30 million in the Göktürk neighborhood of Istanbul's Eyüp district, which was completed in 2013 and consists of 82 domiciles, 18 stores as well as facilities for sports, recreation and social activities.

A registered domicile is not necessarily the same as a Japanese citizen's place of birth or current residence (despite the name). After the war, excavations resumed in 1958 by a joint Albanian-USSR archaeological team, which included a thorough topographic survey and mapping. After 1961, when a political rift occurred between Albania and the USSR, excavations continued under Albanian authorities. A complete report of these excavations has not been published. For example, Thomas Menzies of Pitfodels, one of Aberdeen's wealthiest merchants of the time, moved from his long-standing town house on Castle Street (which is now the site of the North of Scotland Bank) to a five- bay two-storey house on Belmont Street in 1788. The street overlooked the valley of the River Denburn and was developed on vacant ground there in the 1780s, housing there initially comprising the domiciles of the wealthy, typified by large town houses with gardens running down to the river. According to a report in June 1916 by the German ambassador stationed in Constantinople, the goods of the Armenians "have long since been confiscated, and their capital has been liquidated by a so-called commission, which means that if an Armenian owned a house valued at, say, £T100, a Turk – a friend or member [of the Ittihad and Terakki] – could have it for around £T2." The only notable domestic opposition was by Ottoman parliamentary representative Ahmed Riza, who stated: > It is unlawful to designate the Armenian assets as "abandoned goods" for the > Armenians, the proprietors, did not abandon their properties voluntarily; > they were forcibly, compulsorily removed from their domiciles and exiled. > Now the government through its efforts is selling their goods ... Possessions of the Neuburg- Falkenstein dynasty and Weyarn Abbey on the Inn and Mangfall rivers, The counts of Falkenstein had their oldest possessions in the upper Vils valley near Taufkirchen and the valley of the Inn river (in the present-day Rosenheim district of Upper Bavaria). By the definition of the West German Federal Expellee Law, enacted on 19 May 1953, refugees of German citizenship or German ethnicity, whose return to their home places was denied, were treated like expellees, thus the frequent general usage of the term expellees for refugees alike. Distinguished are refugees and expellees who had neither German citizenship nor German ethnicity but as a matter of fact had fled or been expelled from their former domiciles and stranded in West Germany or West Berlin before 1951. Following the implementation of Article 370 - which provided the state of Jammu and Kashmir with a special status - and the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, the Government of India further approved a set of laws known as the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Order which would allow citizens from other states to become permanent residents of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
