Above this is a lighter brick construction, with bands of decorative terra cotta rising to a parapet.

The front facade features large display windows on the first floor and an austere, peach-colored terra-cotta wall with a large rectangular display window at the second and third floors.

The line-up consisted of Burns (rhythm guitar, lead singer), Themi Adams (aka Themistocles Adamopoulo, bass guitar), John Thomas (lead guitar) and Hank Wallace (drums). Max Keil Building is a historic commercial building located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built about 1850, and modified in the Art Moderne / Art Deco style in 1938. It is a three-story, single-bay commercial building with a rectangular plan built of wall bearing brick construction. The front facade features a large curved glass display window on the first floor and an austere, peach-colored terra-cotta wall with a large rectangular window of structural glass block at the second and third floors.

The building at 704 is a four-story, two bay brick commercial building and the buildings at 706 is a four-story, three bay brick commercial building. It features a unifying first floor display window made of pressed metal, with accents of raised bands, panels with basket weave design, and stained glass in the Beaux Arts style.

The first recorded purpose-built haunted attraction was the Orton and Spooner Ghost House, which opened in 1915 in Liphook, England. This attraction actually most closely resembles a carnival fun house, powered by steam.

Visual merchandising is a multi-sensory tool used by retailers to catch the attention of customers and attract them into a store to make a purchase. The first piece of visual merchandising customers encounter with a brand is the window display. Window displays are used as an initial attraction to bring customers into a store and are also used as a marketing tool to communicate the brand's image to the consumers as well as to distinguish itself from its competitors. The importance of the window display is that it is a touch point consumers have with the brand.

The composition measures tall by wide and was designed by Edward McCartan. The windows on the base contain one of four types of display-window designs: the original designs installed with the rest of the building in 1929, and one of three modifications. The Mansuy and Smith Automobile Showroom Building is located on the north side of Elm Street, in a block of commercial buildings between Pulaski Circle and Main Street on the west side of downtown Hartford. It is a two-story brick building, joined via party walls to adjacent buildings. Its main facade is divided into three sections: on the ground floor, the right section has a garage bay opening, the left section has a large display window, and the center section has a window and pedestrian entrance. On the second floor, each section has two sash windows with cast stone sills and lintels.

The helmet and the straight sword were placed in the Maximilian Hall (hall XXV, no. 71 & 92 respectively), whereas the curved sword found its way to the Karl V Hall (hall XXVII, no. 345). The weapons were separated by the curators of the museum, who were uncertain whether or not the swords indeed belonged to Skanderbeg. After the Second World War, the doubts evaporated. On the eve of Skanderbeg’s 500th anniversary, the arms were reunited, not only in the same hall, but in the same display window of the Neue Burg Collection of Arms and Armour in Vienna.

The Howard Smith Company Building is a two-storeyed concrete building fronting Flinders Street to the northwest, with Denham Lane to the rear. The ground floor has a central recessed entry, with double doors and fanlights into a shop either side and a central foyer. Each shop has a large display window, and a recessed entrance door, leading to a staircase to the first floor, is situated on the western side. A metal awning is slung from the first floor, which has a recessed loggia and a parapet concealing the roof form, which is possibly shallow, hipped corrugated iron with ridge ventilation.

The Joe P. Eagle and D. R. Boone Building is a historic commercial building at 105-107 West Front Street in downtown Lonoke, Arkansas. It is a two-story red brick building, with a sloping flat roof obscured by parapet, and a brick foundation. It is divided into two sections, articulated by brick pilasters. The left half has an original storefront on the first floor, with plate glass display windows flanking a recessed entrance, while the right half has a more modern (1960s) appearance, with a central display window, with the store entrance on the right and a building entrance to the upper floor on the left.

Ruiner Pinball is an arcade-style pinball game, featuring two types of pinball tables and each one has their own main objective, gameplay mechanics, plot and thematic. The game has three levels of difficulty and the player can set the number of balls for play, turn on or off the picture-in-picture display window, apply texture to the ball and enter the number of players at the options menu. High-scores and other settings made by the player are automatically kept via the cartridge's internal EEPROM. The player can also reset the internal memory of the cartridge to erase saved high-scores and personal settings.

The Lord Block is located on the southern half of Lisbon Street, Lewiston's main business district, at the southwest corner of Lisbon and Cedar Streets. It is a 2-1/2 story masonry structure, built out of load-bearing brick with granite trim, with a front-facing gable roof that has a cross gable on the north side. The front has two virtually identical storefronts, each with a recessed entrance on the left and a plate glass display window to the right. The doors and windows are separated by rusticated granite piers, with a modern awning now extending across both storefronts and on to the adjacent building.

The central square, named 4 November and recently restructured, is the heart of the activities and the life of Fornaci. It accommodates the main events of the village and provides a meeting place for people in their free time, thanks also to the adjacent gelateria, bars, pubs and restaurants. The central square opens onto the Via Repubblica, the main street of the village on which are situated many shops, giving rise to the slogan “100 shops having a single display window”. On some festival days, for example May 1 and June 2, the road is closed to traffic and transformed into a pedestrian area.

The Minnesota Building is a thirteen-story office tower located on the corner of East 4th Street and Cedar Street in downtown St. Paul. It is built of reinforced concrete and has a polished Indiana Limestone facing. Endless is inspired by popular culture, consumerism and advertising. In his artworks he addresses topics like wealthiness, sex and religion, often using recognisable symbols and logos, and describes a modern world where brands and celebrities are the new Gods to worship. Endless’ first foray into the art world was over a decade ago through creating bold street art across London. His first major opportunity came from Ed Burstell in 2016, then the boss of high-end department store, Liberty. Upon noticing Endless’ artwork whilst walking to work one day, Ed contacted Endless with an opportunity to paint the department stores main display window in honour of the 40 year anniversary of the punk movement.

The Patten Building is located in the center of Cherryfield village, on the east side of Main Street (Maine State Route 193), a short way north of its junction with United States Route 1. It is a 2-1/2 story, wood-framed structure, with a front-facing gabled roof and clapboard siding. The roof has an extended cornice, with paired brackets and dentil moulding. The first floor of the front facade is divided into three parts, with a storefront consisting of a double door on the left and a display window on the right, occupying the two right bays, and a single door providing access to the upstairs in the left bay.

The toy owl next to her, Abracadabra, treats her with undisguised contempt, and suggests that, since no one will want Holly after the holiday, she will wind up spending the year in the back room with him. Mrs. Jones, who lives a few blocks from the toy store, suggests to her husband, a police officer that they have a Christmas tree that year. Her husband refuses, saying that it would be a waste of money since they have no children to enjoy it.

The historic principal occupations within the parish of fishing and agriculture have been replaced by tourism, which has boomed, particularly since Port Isaac became the filming location for the ITV television series Doc Martin in 2004 and for the 2019 feature film Fisherman's Friends, both of which included shooting in Port Gaverne. A 2013 University of Plymouth study found that visitors had "clear destination images of Port Isaac prior to their visit", with the television series acting as "a display window for the village and surrounding area". The research indicated that it "acted as a key influence on intention to visit", particularly for more educated middle aged tourists. Upper floors, 2016 The three adjacent two-storey brick shops fronting Brisbane Street present a cohesive group which contribute significantly to the nineteenth century streetscape of this part of Brisbane Street. The two westerly shops are a matching pair of two-storey, gabled roofed brick shops, the details above the cantilevered awning being relatively intact, with cantilevered wooden balconies decorated with cast ion posts and balustrades and curved corrugated iron roofs. The walls are decorated with polychrome and projecting brickwork and classical mouldings in cement render and have small central triangular pediments. The shop front at ground level has been substantially altered with a large glass display window dominating the entrance at Action Realty and the printers shop next door.

The advertising frames are in a faience honey color and the name of the station is also in faience, in the style of the original CMP, a unique case on line 2. The seats are in a Motte style red. The station is distinguished however by the lower part of its platforms which are vertical and not elliptical, except at the end on the Porte Dauphine side (where the accesses take place), which is located within the very end of the old platforms; it is therefore recognizable by its lower vault and the curvature of the platforms at the level of the tympan. The wall on the platform towards Nation has a niche fitted out as a small display window dedicated to Victor Hugo.

Hoping to get Irma to dance with him, Bean asks the DJ to change the music to something romantic, only to find that the man returned and is embracing Irma. Heartbroken and humiliated, Bean exits the disco but, unwilling to be beaten, he spots the club's power breaker and shuts it off on his way out. In the ending scene, Bean passes by a shop with televisions in its display window on his way home, which go to static when he passes them and return to normal, even when he sticks his hand in front of them after the ending credits.

54-58 Churchill Street is single-storeyed rendered masonry building with pitched corrugated iron roofs, comprising four internally disparate shops which are united by a common parapet and awning. The building is similar in materials, scale and parapet features to other commercial buildings on Churchill St. It is located on a bend at the eastern end of the street, and contributes significantly to the picturesque townscape of the street. The building sits on a wedge-shaped block, and has a truncated eastern frontage. The different shops reflect their different uses: no 54 is a small shop with a single display window; no 56 comprises two shops, a former bank, more generously proportioned than its neighbour, which has a rendered masonry street facade, and a narrow shop with a two display windows and a central entrance; no 58 is a large skylit cafe with two entrances and three display windows.

Smash and Grab attacks are extremely prevalent on South African roads A smash and grab is a particular form of burglary that involves smashing a barrier, usually a display window in a shop or a showcase, grabbing valuables, and then making a quick getaway, without concern for setting off alarms or creating noise. The video begins with the group's logo flashing onscreen before moving into the setting of a backstage dressing room which enables passers-by to have a view of the activity within, similar to a display window. The group's members are sitting down singing during the first verse and bridge as they are getting their hair and make-up done whilst looking in the mirror. Viewers also get introduced to the tradition of each member's signature colour in dress code which is apparent in most of the music videos the band has released likewise in this video - each girl is wearing a different coloured dress to the other girls.

Alte Pinakothek It consists of the three "Pinakotheken" galleries (Alte Pinakothek, Neue Pinakothek and Pinakothek der Moderne), the Glyptothek, the Staatliche Antikensammlungen (both museums are specialized in Greek and Roman art), the Lenbachhaus, the Museum Brandhorst (a private collection of modern art) and several galleries. Also the Staatliche Sammlung für Ägyptische Kunst (the state collection of Egypt art) was moved to the Kunstareal in 2013. The history of the museums in this area of Munich began in 1816 with the erection of the Glyptothek at Königsplatz and was completed with the new building for the Egyptian Museum (2012) and the extension of the Lenbachhaus (2013). Close to the Pinakothek der Moderne the neo-classical Palais Dürckheim (constructed in 1842-1844) served at times as a building dedicated to bringing art closer to the visitors, while the adjoining Türkentor (1826), the gate of a demolished royal caserne, is set to become a display window for temporary contemporary art.

During this time, she was greatly influenced by her teacher, Professor Ernst Schneidler, founder of the Stuttgart School of Graphic Design (Stuttgarter Schule im Bereich grafischer Gestaltung). After graduation, Naegele had her own drawing studio on Stuttgart’s Reinsburgstrasse. She became a much sought after graphic designer, stylist and book illustrator for well-known textile firms like Gröber-Neufra and the publisher Deutsche Verlagsgesellschaft Stuttgart. In 1934, Lilo Naegele won a contract to design the display window of star hairdresser Hugo Benner’s salon in the Stuttgart Wilhelmsbau. This made her well known to the city’s artistic circle of intellectuals and to Bodo Rasch, the architect who furnished the salon. Other patrons of the time were the Hölzel students Willi Baumeister, who designed Benner’s letter paper; Lily Hildebrandt, née Uhlmann, and her husband, the art historian Professor Hans Hildebrandt. From 1938 to 1939, Naegele worked in Berlin for the magazines "Die Dame" and "Die neue Linie", as well as for the film company Tobis.
