SINGAPORE, March 19 (Reuters) - Southeast Asia's Grab said on Tuesday it would offer consumer credit and expand its lending to small businesses as part of the ride-hailing firm's big push into the financial services sector, an area it has earmarked for growth.
Online travel agencies, airlines, and cruise lines all saw double-digit US sales declines in the week ended March 83, compared to a year earlier, according to new data from Earnest Research, a company that monitors consumer credit and debit card spending.
The consumer credit reporting agency Equifax revealed that as many as 143 million Americans' Social Security numbers, dates of birth, names and addresses may have been stolen from its files — just the kind of information that allows for identity theft and other cybercrimes.
