The Carolina Entertainment Complex is an outdoor theater, built in Marion, South Carolina, with a capacity of 6,909 and of lawn seating and full-service concession stands. The space was vacant as off 2009, with Hartmann Group of Connecticut planning to open the Swampfox Entertainment Complex on 8 May 2015.

The Dilla Villa houses one of the few non-major league stadiums in the country to have an upper and lower level concourse. The lower level concourse is the major one, leading to the main grandstand. Joseph Van Horn was an industrial machinist who altered his family's surname from Horansky to Van Horn after becoming a naturalized U.S. citizen. By the 1930s, Emil Van Horn owned a number of concession stands with his younger brother, Arvine.
Amenities on the left field side of this level include the Left Field Picnic and a play area for children called the S&A; Homes Kids Zone. The food concession stands in this area are The Left Field Grill, The "Grand" Stand, and The Bullpen Café. Food including Philly cheesesteaks, hot dogs, and ice cream will be sold by the concessions. Beer is sold during Spikes games, but not during Penn State games.
It is essentially continuous with the longer escarpment that continues both north (into Pennsylvania) and south (into West Virginia) known as the Allegheny Front. Dans Mountain State Park is located along a stretch of the mountain, south of Frostburg, Maryland. Dan's Rock Overlook is the highest scenic overlook in the park. The park also features a pond that is stocked annually, an Olympic-sized pool with a modern bathhouse, and concession stands.
Star Cineplex was founded in 9 October 2004, in Bashundhara City. In 2016 it opened its first theatre in Cox's Bazar. STAR Cineplex has six fully digital cinema screens with state-of-the-art 3D Projection Technology, Silver Screens, Dolby-Digital Sound and stadium seating. With a total capacity of approximately 1600 seats the theater has large lobby with full concession stands serving pop-corns, soft drinks, ice-creams and many other items.
O'Malley's and two other groups submitted proposals to run the restaurant in September 2001. The Park Grill group's proposal was twice as long as the other two but, technically, promised the Park District the lowest revenues. By the end of the year, O'Malley's team had been selected to run the restaurant, souvenir and concession stands, and a cafe in the new Millennium Park. The Park Grill contract was signed February 11, 2003.
The Lafayette Journal and Courier reported on planning for the amphitheater. "In 1986, the Tippecanoe County Parks board made plans and obtained $3 million in finances to build an amphitheater for performances of the 'Battle of Tippecanoe Outdoor Drama'." Under coach Al Ferrer, UCSB improved its program in the late 1970s and 1980s. Along with this improvement came larger and more enthusiastic crowds. A group of students began taking the cardboard boxes given out at the concession stands to carry food and wore them sideways on their heads. Eventually this practice spread and the student section of rowdy supporters became known as the "hammerheads", after the distinctive look of hammerhead sharks.
On November 11, 2009, it was announced the City of Tacoma was considering a $30 million renovation to Cheney Stadium. Early renovation plans included a new grandstand superstructure, roof and concourse, as well as new concession stands, seats, luxury suites and a restaurant. The proposal drew little controversy from taxpayers. On November 19, 2009, the Tacoma Rainiers renewed their lease with the City of Tacoma to keep playing at Cheney Stadium for 32 years.
On July 5, 2013, ground was broken on "Daytona Rising" to remove backstretch seating and completely redevelop the frontstretch seating. The renovation was by design- builder Barton Malow Company in partnership with Rossetti Architects. The project was completed in January 2016, and cost US $400 million. It emphasized improved fan experience with five expanded and redesigned fan entrances (called "injectors"), as well as wider and more comfortable seats, and more restrooms and concession stands.
In 2004, long-time racer Doug Walters purchased 40% of the track from McCann, and the two began to make more improvements such as permanent restrooms and better concession stands. The city council then questioned some of those improvements the next year as no permits had been obtained for the work. Owner Doug Walters died in 2008. A commercial for Intel was filmed at the speedway in July 2013 featuring monster trucks.
The McGee Park Memorial Coliseum, a 5,137-seat multipurpose arena, is one of only five indoor arenas in New Mexico. It has a arena floor and can seat up to 8,137 for concerts. Rodeos, Ice shows, other sporting events, along with conventions and trade shows, are also held here. The arena has only two concession stands, and contains a covered pavilion as well as a patio area where the arena's ticket facilities are located.
Val Telberg (born February 14, 1910 in Moscow, Russia) was a Russian painter. He lived in China during his youth. He studied painting at the Art Student's League, New York, in 1942, where he was exposed to the surrealism movement and experimental film-making. To support his painting, Telberg traveled from Florida to Massachusetts, printing photographs of nightclub patrons and working at photographic concession stands where people posed with cutouts of celebrities.
Funnel cakes are made by pouring batter into hot cooking oil in a circular pattern and deep frying the overlapping mass until golden-brown. The batter is commonly poured through a funnel, creating its texture and giving its name. When made at concession stands, a pitcher with an integral funnel spout is employed. Alton Brown recommends they be made with choux pastry, which expands from steam produced by its high water content.
The construction of Gray-Minor had numerous new features and facilities for VMI baseball. Patchin Field had small seating composed of aluminum bench seats. Gray–Minor Stadium holds 1,400 seats, over 700 of which are seat-backed with cup holders for everyone. In addition to that are new and rebuilt dugouts, a new scoreboard with a video-board, handicapped seating, elevators, enlarged restrooms, concession stands, and a glass press box with a new audio system.
The court itself is maplewood and seven inches thick. The venue included 20 boxes near the top of the lower level for the larger donors; however, the large donors to the stadium wished for court-side seating. Due to poor views from the boxes, these areas were converted into normal seating years later. The venue's 68 rows all feed into the 1,200' long and 22' wide concourse that features several concession stands and vendors.
Other things included in the renovation were a locker room for former players, a players' lounge, and a recruiting room. The concourse was also widened, and improvements were made to the restrooms and concession stands for the benefit of the fans. Quicken Loans founder, Dan Gilbert, donated $15 million to both the addition and a scholarship fund. They named the outside of the Hall of History the Gilbert Pavilion in his honor.
Entrance to the changing rooms was via doors at the sides of the front and rear arcades. Among the other original features of the bathhouse were two restaurants, a cafeteria, concession stands, and the solarium on the roof. These were later replaced by a ranger station, the park police station, and the first-aid station. An eastern portion of the beach pavilion is currently used to house lifeguards from the National Park Service.

In 2014, the gym was named the Willie High Basketball Arena in honor of Willie High, Sr. The school includes a football stadium with a six-lane track, concession stands, restrooms and irrigation system. In 2014, the stadium was named the Bell-Cullpeper Stadium, in honor of Robert Bell and L. C. Cullpepper.
On 11 October 2018, Coast entered administration. Karen Millen, another British retailer, bought parts of the Coast brand, such as the website and concessions in department stores (including the transfer of 600 jobs to Karen Millen). The deal left 24 stores to close, including the flagship store on Oxford Street, and 300 employees without a job. Coast is now an online only retail business, with all retail shops and concession stands having been closed.
An on-campus football stadium with concession stands, a separate locker room, and storage facilities opened in August 2012. A separate practice field with Field Turf II is located near the Health and Wellness Center, where new lighted tennis courts are located. New baseball and softball fields are adjacent to the football stadium. One of the most visible landmarks on campus is the Alumni Memorial Arch, located at the entrance to the university.

In 1994, The Pavilion's Board of Directors decided to expand the capacity and add additional amenities to the existing facility. On Monday, May 26, there was no chance to hold the race, as it rained all day. The infield turned into a sea of mud, and most of the spectators had since departed, going home to their jobs. Authorities estimated Monday's attendance at a paltry 5,800 spectators. Those who did arrive merely milled around, as most of the infield was impassable, concession stands were out of food, and souvenir tents were empty and abandoned.
Its first investment in the services industry was the $118 million acquisition of Allied Maintenance Corporation in 1982. In 1984, Ogden spun-off seven of its industrial businesses, which became owned primarily by Ogden employees. By 1987, substantially all of Ogden's revenues were from services it didn't previously provide, like warehousing, running concession stands at stadiums, and janitorial services. As a result of this cutback in staffing during the off season, employees who operate rides, run gaming stands, or staff concession stands may be classified as part-time workers owing to the months long down time during which they may be technically employed, but not necessarily on active duty.
The stadium has benefited from numerous renovations over its life. The period from 2007-2012 saw a series of improvements including the addition of Outfield Club seating (noted above); a refurbished locker room; new fencing, backstop, and netting; and a new ticket booth. Spanish Bank Extension is to the west of Spanish Bank West and is the westernmost part of Spanish Banks before the shoreline becomes much narrower and rocky as it heads towards Acadia Beach. There are lifeguards on site in summer, but there are no concession stands or volleyball courts as there is little sand. Most of Spanish Banks Extension is a designated dogs off-leash area. The Klamath County Event Center is a 2,800-seat multipurpose arena located in Klamath Falls, Oregon, as part of the Klamath County Fairgrounds. The arena contains a 45,000-square-foot (150-by-300 feet) arena floor, allowing it to be used for multiple events, including rodeos, concerts, conventions and trade shows. Adjacent to the arena seating a building housing two ticket booths, two concession stands, and a conference room. The concrete exhibit area measures .
There was a concert stage and family fun zone located on The Plaza inside the concourse entrance. Several concession stands and cart vendors were located on the concourse. A full-service restaurant known as Sluggers Sports Bar and Grill, constructed in 1984 as The Hall of Fame Stadium Club, was located on the fourth floor. The restaurant and bar was open during all Sounds home dates, and games could be viewed from the restaurant via windows overlooking the field.
Single-level stands VIP seats is broken down into three sectors: gold, silver, and bronze, depending on their location and the view they offer. The esplanade surrounding the entire stadium leads from the ground level to Level 1. Concession stands, first aid stations, police offices and rest rooms are located on the promenade. Seats for fans with disabilities are located in stands equipped with wheelchair ramps, and disabled fans are able to sit next to their caretakers.
This renovation included new restrooms, new concession stands, a new "Club level" seating on top of the home dugout. The MoonDogs have made the playoffs eight of the last eleven season, making it to the Summer Collegiate World series (third franchise appearance) last in 2014 where the MoonDogs were defeated by the Lakeshore Chinooks. The MoonDogs have been active in the Mankato community with frequent player and mascot appearances at local events and through the MoonDogs Fit Program.
In fall 2001, a grassroots "I Like Mike" campaign was begun to build Mike the Tiger a new and larger home. The first phase of the campaign consisted of placing Tiger trucks accepting donations around LSU's campus during home football games. In addition, collection boxes were placed at all concession stands in Tiger Stadium and at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center during basketball season. A collection box was also placed at Mike the Tiger's original enclosure.
The facility also includes a state-of-the-art scoreboard and sound system, locker rooms for both the men's and women's teams, a pressbox with rooftop observation deck and concession stands. The Deacons regularly play in front of packed crowds, as the campus and local communities support the men's and women's teams. A strong contingent of students can always be found on the hill overlooking the north side of the stadium. Spry Stadium has hosted several major soccer events.

In 2007, the venue began a sponsorship with Delta Air Lines, now known as the Delta Classic Chastain Park Amphitheater. In March 2018, the Georgia-based State Bank & Trust Company secured naming rights for the venue. The name change took effect April 2, 2018.
On March 19, 2005, the venue was renamed after T. Henry Wilson Jr., class of 1951. Wilson played both baseball and football at Davidson, and a donation by his family made significant renovations to the field possible. In 2003, lights were installed at the facility, allowing the first night games to be played at then-Wildcat Park. In 2005, after a donation from the Wilson family, new bleachers, infield, concession stands, and a press box were added.
Bolstered by the first half of a $4 million renovation completed in 2009, the lighted, Sportexe turf-covered facility celebrates its 20th full-season anniversary in 2013. Part of the recently completed renovation is permanent grandstand seating on Bluff Street, which replaces temporary bleachers that had been installed for 14 football seasons. Permanent concession stands and restrooms have also been added to the south side of the field. The Academic Walk sideline has also gained additional seating.
55 courtside seats are arranged for basketball games and 1,363 bleacher back seats in the end zones are reserved for students. There are 166 public restroom stations (98 for women and 70 for men), six concession stands with 42 points-of-sale plus 12 additional portable locations, and 2 elevators. Located just off the main lobby area is a team store selling Missouri State University apparel and souvenirs. Maximum seating for concerts with an end stage is 10,542.
For several decades, Frisch's has had a business relationship with the Cincinnati Reds baseball organization. From 1983 to 1998, Frisch's was a part owner of the ball club. Two Frisch's Big Boy concession stands opened in 2013 at Cincinnati's Great American Ball Park. An East Coast Big Boy statue repainted with a Cincinnati Reds uniform was placed near one stand, and in March 2017, the first of the redesigned Frisch's statues, likewise in Reds uniform, was added.
An increasing variety of food options were being sold at GQT concession stands, offering more concessions over traditional movie theater snacks. Typical concession items included popcorn, soda, candy, nachos, pretzels, hot dogs, and slushies. Some larger multiplexes began offering personal pan pizzas, chicken fingers, and mozzarella sticks. Screen taps is a belly-up bar or bar behind a concession stand giving adult moviegoers aged 21 or over an alternative to the traditional beverages offered at the theater concession stand.

It seats up to 4,000 for concerts, boxing and wrestling. The auditorium features an 80-by-30-foot permanent stage and four offstage dressing and locker rooms. A mezzanine leads into the auditorium and features restrooms, checkrooms and two permanent concession stands, among other facilities.

It was renamed for Buck Beltzer after a donation from the Beltzer family allowed for the ballpark to be upgraded with an artificial turf infield, 1,000 permanent aluminum seats, covered dugouts, a press box, restrooms, and concession stands. Seating was increased to 1,500 the next year. Later upgrades included a new scoreboard in 1981; lights in 1989; and a new sound system in 1997. Also, the artificial turf was upgraded for a third time prior to the 1997 season.
The Dodgers played in Salem for two seasons, with future major-league star Mike Piazza on the team's 1989 roster. In 1990, owners moved the Salem Dodgers to Yakima, Washington, mainly due to lack of adequate facilities. The Salem club had played its home games at the Chemeketa Community College field, which lacked a grandstand, permanent concession stands and other amenities. It would be seven years before pro baseball returned to the Salem-Keizer metropolitan area.
Concession stands, restrooms, and ticket facilities are also within the gates. Dale Hancock Gymnasium inside the school is capable of seating 3,000 fans with collapsible stands on either side of the main basketball court which is sunk a few feet lower. The namesake is for the late CUSD Board of Education member Dale Hancock in 2011. The gymnasium houses several events including basketball, volleyball, badminton, pep-rallies, the Hamilton Invitational Science and Engineering Fair (HISEF), and other events.
The first year of expansion included replacing the student seating section with new stands, increasing student seating by 400 seats and wrapping around the corners of the stadium creating a horseshoe. Permanent concession stands and restrooms behind student section were also built to accommodate the increase in seating and the fans sitting in the south end. The wooden benches in the east and west grandstands were wrapped in blue acrylic plastic to provide more comfortable seating and a longer lifespan.
Right Field View Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field is a baseball stadium located in Magnolia, Arkansas. It is the home field for the Southern Arkansas Mulerider baseball team. Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field consists of grandstand seating built into a hill behind homeplate as well as grass seating down the lines. Due to the prolonged success of Mulerider Baseball, SAU opened a completely remodeled facility that included new coaches’ offices, locker rooms, concession stands, restrooms and press box during the 2011 baseball season.
It is operated by the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. Orchard Beach was built as part of Pelham Bay Park and was originally located on the eastern shore of Rodman's Neck peninsula. In the 1930s, New York City parks commissioner Robert Moses announced a project to expand Orchard Beach northward by connecting several islands in Pelham Bay Park via landfill. The expanded beach was dedicated in 1936 and opened in 1937, along with its pavilion and concession stands.
The main arena is named the Goodman Arena after Henry J. Goodman, former chairman of the Cleveland State board of trustees, while the building is named after Bert and Iris Wolstein, who donated $6.5 million towards the building's construction, the largest philanthropic gift in CSU history. The building also contains a practice gym, a grand ballroom, six-room conference center, and eight concession stands. In the arena, there is a 100-seat party loge located above the seating in the west baseline.

In both 1992 and 2003, the field was awarded the Professional Grounds Management Society's Honor Award for the excellent condition of its playing surface. Prior to 2008, the facility featured little seating and other amenities around the playing field. In 2006, however, a $3.4 million renovation project was announced, and construction began on July 15, 2008. Part of then-athletic director Sheahon Zenger's initiative to improve Redbird athletic facilities, the project added 1,000 stadium seats, restrooms, concession stands, and ticket windows.
Named after a Trojans outfielder who played from 1998–2002, the facility included a press box, concession stands, and a new gated entrance. In 2003, a new scoreboard was installed, located over the right field fence. Prior to the 2004 season, the UALR athletic department announced an anonymous $1.6 million donation for improvements to the baseball field. Since 1991, DAVID Seeds has sponsored the Babe Ruth League, pitching the “Eat. Spit. Be Happy!”(slogan) message to youth baseball and softball players ages 5 to 18 nationwide. The Babe Ruth League has over 900,000 players in 45,000+ teams across the U.S.. As the “Official Sunflower Seed of the Babe Ruth League,” DAVID provides free scorebooks and safety tips to each team in the league, awards to All-Star players, and DAVID Sunflower Seeds to be sold at concession stands.
There are eight concession stands, plus three locker rooms. In addition to trade shows, concerts, and sporting events, ice shows, circuses, wrestling, conventions and banquets can be held at the arena. The arena hosted the Mobile Mysticks of the East Coast Hockey League, WCW Beach Blast (1992), and Uncensored (1998), as well as hosting the Mobile Seagulls of the National Indoor Football League and Mobile Wizards of the af2. It also was the site of the 1991 Sun Belt Conference men's basketball tournament.
At the complex's first major cricket tournament, only one field was approved for international play, as it had a natural-turf oval; the secondary field is synthetic. Unlike larger U.S. facilities such as Central Broward Regional Park, the facility lacks floodlights, a pavilion, a clubhouse or changing rooms for players, a media area, concession stands, and bleachers for fans. The project was controversial in Indianapolis. The facility's funding came from the city's "RebuildIndy" initiative, which was intended to fund infrastructure improvements.
Ballard booked The Beatles on each of their three North American tours from 1964–1966. On the second tour, in 1965, Ballard sold tickets for two shows, even though the agreement had been for only one. On the hot summer day of one of the concerts, Ballard ordered the building's heat turned up, shut off the water fountains, and also delayed both of the concerts for over an hour. The only available refreshments were large soft drinks from the concession stands.
With a total area of 80 acres, Memorial Park is the largest of Obetz' parks. Memorial has two basketball courts, three soccer fields, a baseball complex, two concession stands, a children's play area with playground equipment and benches, several paved parking areas, and a one-acre fishing pond stocked with Largemouth bass, Bluegill, and Channel catfish. The chairback seats were in place by late April, but the bleachers, pressbox, restrooms, and concession stands were not finished in time for the end of the season. In October 2007 a new scoreboard was erected in right- center field, complete with a scrolling message board. Plans are in the making to add a video replay board in the future. An indoor practice hitting facility will be added adjacent to the third-base side of the stadium sometime in the near future.
In 2007, a $13 million renovation of the stadium was completed. Planned improvements included new lighting for night games, enclosing the north end zone with lawn seating to create a 22,500-seat horseshoe-shaped venue, new concession stands, a brick facade, a larger press box, and private luxury suites. On August 29, 2013, a new video board was installed. For a time, notable Ball State alumnus David Letterman jokingly campaigned via his television program to have the stadium named after him.
The bond would pay for a facility if passed, with plans calling for later expansion to include other items such as racquetball courts, an indoor skatepark, and an indoor golf area. The bond measure was defeated in November 2008. The concession stands and restrooms were completed in Spring 2009, and construction of the remaining parts of the first phase began. Amenities such as the interactive water fountain, outdoor basketball courts, and parking were scheduled to be completed by the winter of 2009.
The Sports Arena was the first NBA arena to feature a rotating billboard at courtside, which also acted as the scorer's table. Rotating billboards eventually became standard at all NBA arenas until the mid-2000s, when LED billboard/scorer's tables were introduced. Spectator amenities included a full-service main ticket office, a secondary box office and 2 portable booths, 6 permanent concession stands, and a first-aid station. A club and restaurant were located on the arena level of the facility.
Two years later the team moved into a new two-rink arena called the National Hockey Center. The building, now called the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center, is undergoing a $30 million expansion and renovation. The renovations were to consist of three phases. Phase I, which is completed, added an atrium, more suites, restrooms and concession stands on the arena's south side, a pro shop on the west concourse, space for the Red & Black Society, and a general facelift to the south side.

In the early-1950s, a young girl on the swing ride was killed when a truck delivering sodas accidentally backed into the ride, striking her. In 2002 plans began for a $6.5 million renovation to Lynchburg City Stadium. The renovation included a complete renovation of the concourse with the addition of seat back chairs, and two picnic areas. The renovation also included the addition of two new concession stands, eight luxury boxes, a new press box, arcade room, spacious bathrooms and a state-of-the-art scoreboard. Prior to the 2005 season, six new luxury boxes were added in addition to a video board in right field.
The tour was billed as their "Tenth Anniversary Tour", and silver was used in tour promotion and for the guitar pick and drumstick signatures in keeping with a "silver anniversary" theme. The band sold T-shirts, jerseys, black baseball caps, and pins at their concession stands. The tour program was not available for sale until mid-February, shortly before the tour ended, making it one of the rarest Kiss programs and very sought after by fans of a certain age.

Lancaster City Park is another highly utilized park in the city with four baseball/softball fields, two playgrounds, two tennis courts, a basketball court, walking trail, and an off-leash area for dogs. The park also has two concession stands and two large pavilions, each with 15 tables. The Cedardale Park and Complex in northern Lancaster contains baseball/softball fields, a basketball court, playground, and concession stand. There are smaller neighborhood parks located throughout the city with playgrounds and other amenities.

Right Field View Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field is a baseball stadium located in Magnolia, Arkansas. It is the home field for the Southern Arkansas Mulerider baseball team. Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field consists of grandstand seating built into a hill behind homeplate as well as grass seating down the lines. Due to the prolonged success of Mulerider Baseball, SAU opened a completely remodeled facility that included new coaches’ offices, locker rooms, concession stands, restrooms and press box during the 2011 baseball season.

This 279-acre theme park is owned and operated by Westchester County and includes rides, games, an indoor skating rink or Ice Casino, beach, a boardwalk, and concession stands. It is one of only two amusement parks in the country with National Historic Landmark status, the other one being Kennywood in Pennsylvania. Sojka Pavilion is a 4,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. It was built in 2003 and is home to the Bucknell University Bison basketball teams, replacing nearby Davis Gym. It is named for Dr. Gary Allan Sojka, a former president of the university who remained at the university as a professor of biology after the end of his term, until his retirement in 2006. It features locker rooms, a hardwood playing surface, concession stands, LED video boards, a team store, and a Jumbotron.
Bobbie Rosenfeld Park, is a public park near the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In 1991, two years following the completion of the SkyDome (later renamed Rogers Centre in 2005), an open space between Rogers Centre and CN Tower was renamed Bobbie Rosenfeld Park, in honour of the Canadian athlete Bobbie Rosenfeld. The city-owned park is mainly an open space covered by paving stone and planters. There are some trees and concession stands selling food and other items to tourists and visitors in the area.

The renovation to the student seating section, funded largely by a facilities enhancement and life safety fee at the request of student leaders, included new bleachers, increased seating capacity, a new entrance, restrooms and concession stands. In 2011, Matrix Turf was installed on the field.
Three rental car agencies are located in the terminal building at Worcester Regional Airport. Avis, Hertz, and Thrifty all have concession stands across from the baggage claim. The Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA)'s route #2route #2 bus connects Union Station, a regional MBTA Commuter Rail, Amtrak, and bus transportation hub in the Downtown Worcester district, with the airport. In 2016 it was announced the Pavilion would undergo a $65 million renovation to improve the aging facility. At the end of the 2016-17 academic year, the facility closed to begin on the renovations. During the renovations, Villanova's men's team played the 2017–18 season at Wells Fargo Center, while the women's team used Jake Nevin Field House. The renamed William B. Finneran Pavilion reopened in October 2018 with new concession stands, "enhanced audio-visual capabilities", new seating, along with a new entrance.

The park, especially the casino, held regular live performances by entertainers such as Jack Benny, Perry Como, Bob Crosby, The Dorsey Brothers, Marie Dressler, W. C. Fields, Woody Herman, Isham Jones, Guy Lombardo, Ozzie and Harriet, the Marx Brothers, Red Nichols and His Five Pennies, Ted Weems. Local Harry Jarkey made regular appearances. There were a number of food concession stands, including a popular french fry stand at the north end of the park, Wright's Cafe, an ice cream parlor, and a restaurant in the casino.
There is also a student council with approximately 50 members, who run concession stands and plan homecoming (an annual tradition since 1938), Halloween/Christmas Events, intramural sports (basketball, dodgeball, powder puff football, and volleyball), and multiple "Spirit Weeks." The restrooms, concession stands, sound system and batting cages were also improved and renovated. Dodgers owner Guggenheim Partners internally discussed moving the Dodgers to a new stadium at a Downtown Los Angeles site proposed by the Anschutz Entertainment Group to allow an NFL team to build a stadium at the Dodger Stadium site. Guggenheim Partners also considered allowing an NFL team to build a stadium next to Dodger Stadium.
Fans can access all seating areas from a central concourse that rings the court, which also includes portable concession stands. An additional concession area is located on the floor level behind the east baseline. The listed seating capacity is 5,000 people and can be increased to approximately 6,000 by adding additional seating to the east side. The building architects, Barton-Malow Company, also left the north side of the building amenable to future expansion of up to 10,000 seats total by adding a second balcony section.
The first company to run the cinema was AMC Theatres in conjunction with Milton Keynes Entertainment Corporation (MKEC). After opening similar multiplexes across the country, in 1989, AMC sold up its UK business to UCI. The cinema was still run in part by MKEC who took the profits from the ticket sales while UCI had the profits from the concession stands. The venue was an instant success and its opening caused, at least partially, the closure of the traditional cinemas in Bletchley and Newport Pagnell.
The business plan assumed that the operators could negotiate a fixed price for films (rather than a percentage per ticket sold), but the studios refused to negotiate on this basis. Concession stands and vendors on the club level also often offer different menus than in other stands to give more of a special feel to the club. These areas are closed off to the rest of the venue, and they usually can only be accessed through the exclusive, private club entrances. Parking and concierge service are often available to club levels. The ratio of toilets to fans is considerably higher in the club level than general seating, avoiding the long washroom lineups that plague regular admission fans.

The public circulates using 10 escalators, 15 lifts, two ramps and 13 staircases. 59 concession stands are available, as is an auditorium for 360 people and a convention center under the west building. A museum dedicated to Corinthians will be set up in the east building.
Shopko Hall had 43,680 square feet (4058 m2) of column-free exhibit space. It also featured an enclosed ticket office, a private show office, and concession stands, as well as walkways connecting it to the Brown County Veterans Memorial Arena and the Resch Center. The venue primarily hosted trade shows, conventions, seminars, banquets, and intimate concerts. Shopko Hall hosted over 100 events every year, including the Titletown Train Show, Everybody's Rummage Sale, WBAY Pet Expo, WBAY RV & Camping Show, Home and Garden Show, and Senior Expo.
The McLeod Center is located on the west end of the campus, directly south of the UNI-Dome and connected by a covered walkway that also houses an extensive athletic hall of fame. A video board is located on the south wall with home and visiting team scoreboards on either side showing the players' game information. There are two scoreboards on the north side and ribbon boards above the concession stands on the east and west sides. Since opening, the arena has had quite a significant positive economic impact for the university.
In June 2001, the Akron Civic Theatre closed its doors for the most expensive and extensive renovation in its seventy-five year history. The renovation cost just over $19 million, which included additional restroom facilities, new concession stands, and expansion of the lobbies. The renovation allowed for the Civic to better serve customers with special needs by adding more handicapped seating and a new elevator. To bring the theatre up to new standards, the dressing rooms were all redone, and the stage was expanded from twenty-six feet to forty feet.

An informal reader poll conducted by The Seattle Times showed that "The Clink" was a popular suggestion. During Sounders FC matches, the field was entitled "The Xbox Pitch at CenturyLink Field" as part of a sponsorship deal with Microsoft. However, the field has been left unnamed ever since Zulily took over the Sounders FC sponsorship before the start of the 2019 season; the deal with Zulily did not include naming rights to the field. In addition to its 48 concession stands, restaurants and lounges are located throughout the stadium.
Just north of downtown is Regner Park, which offers a wooded area for hiking, a baseball diamond, a community swimming pond with a beach, a fishing pond, and several softball and soccer fields. On the southeast side of the city is Quaas Creek Park, home to the Roman "Doc" Gonring Athletic Complex and Quaas Creek Trail.Quaas Creek Trail This facility includes scenic bike/pedestrian trails, a canoe launch, three softball fields with two concession stands, and a children's play area. Lac Lawrann Conservancy, offers a 137-acre nature preserve and 5 miles of trails.

The Detroit territory was home to The Sheik, Abdullah the Butcher and Bobo Brazil, and featured long, bloody brawls. Headed by father George and his sons Dan and Wayne, the Kortewegs invested a lot into track renovations, including the only repaving of the track's racing surface, new steel Armco barrier around the track, new catch fence and renovated restrooms and concession stands. A 3rd division was created in 1988 to support the SK Modified and Late Model divisions, called the Strictly Stocks - an entry level division of 8-cylinder stock cars. For 2011, new HD monitors were installed throughout the Dome in place of the older screens at concession stands and other areas. Before the 2010 season, the Dome also received a new permanent turf surface. The surface, manufactured by AstroTurf, is AstroTurf's Magic Carpet II Conversion System, which features its GameDay 3D Synthetic Turf System. This system is similar to the original turf system that was in the Dome from 1995 to 2004 whereas it can be rolled up and stored underground in a pit at the Dome.
The Third Base Food Court features Papa John's Pizza, and gluten free classics. In Right Field Street there is Bay Grill and the Craft Beer Corner featuring many local craft brewery's including Big Storm Brewing, Cigar City, Green Bench, Sea Dog and 3 Daughters. Green Bench Brewing offers a special edition brew just for the Rays called 2-Seam Blonde Ale. In addition to a variety of concessions, with vendors ranging from Cuban sandwich burgers to grilled sausages, there are also concession stands for Outback Steakhouse and Papa John's Pizza.
The museum is open during game days, opening at the same time as the park and closing after the 7th inning with the concession stands. Admission is free, and the museum is open to all ticketholders. In 2012, the museum is open until the 9th inning, but still open only on game days. As of the last week of the 2012 season the museum was back to closing by the 7th inning (beginning of, not after the 7th inning) and the open only on game days policy is still in effect.
This would result in additional restrooms and concession stands at the arena. There has been discussion about expanding the Norfolk Scope, by adding 5,000 seats and 24 luxury suites, in the near future, in order to remain competitive with neighboring venues in the southeastern and mid-Atlantic states. In 2018, the city decided to move on from the renovation concept, which would total $200 million. In his 2019 State of the City address, Norfolk mayor Kenny Alexander announced plans to study the possibility of building a new arena, in a not yet named location.
Built at the same time as the Scope and Richmond Coliseum, the Roanoke Civic Center is the area's premier sports and entertainment venue. There are eight restrooms and six concession stands at the arena, which has a ceiling height and 10 spotlights as well as a portable stage that is no larger than 60-by-40 feet. A bagel dog is a food item consisting of a full-size or miniature hot dog wrapped in bagel-style breading before or after cooking. They are similar in concept to a corn dog or pigs in a blanket. Bagel dogs are commonly available for purchase at prepared-food concession stands and frozen in grocery stores in the greater New York City, Chicago, and Cincinnati areas, but are more difficult to find elsewhere. Some bagel dogs are prepared using an actual bagel to wrap around the hot dog, rather than a bagel-like breading.

Steam Corner is notable in its area as the site of flea markets, exhibitions and festivals. The Steam Corner Flea Market began in 1970 as a yard sale by residents Don and Ruth Staggs and grew over many years; the site now hosts several annual events, including two antique power shows with flea markets, an Independence Day festival, and two weeks of events during Parke County's Covered Bridge Festival. Steam Corner has a Country Kitchen restaurant and concession stands owned by the Flea Market, open during events. Camping is also available.
Concourse A was demolished in November 2019. Concourse A was demolished due to the age and space of the structure and will be replaced by an expanded Concourse B. The extension is expected to cost $100 million and will feature 4 jet bridges, 6 ground loading zones, and improved concession stands. All Horizon operations that operate out of Concourse A will be temporarily moved to Concourse C until the expanded Concourse B is finished. Work officially began on November 14, 2019 with the closure of Concourse A, and is estimated to be completed by 2021.
The Beechams began a major renovation project, razing the decaying original scorer's tower and concession stands and constructing a new, two level concession stand and scorer's / VIP area. The old seats were replaced with seating for approximately 5000 fans. The race program consisted of a Friday night winged sprint cars program and a Saturday night NASCAR-sanctioned weekly stock car program. It seats 4,675 for basketball games, 4,859 for ice shows, 4,433 for the circus, 1,500 for theatrical shows and concerts, 6,200 for end-stage concerts and 6,500 for center-stage concerts. The arena, with a ceiling height of 35 feet to low steel and 47' high steel, is also a convention center, with of total space, with on the arena floor. There is a hospitality room holding up to 65 people and there are five dressing rooms and seven concession stands as well as a production office.

Two concourses, the 100 level and the 300 level, are open to the ticket-buying public during events; the 100 level concourse provides access to the lower bowl (including the 200-level seats); the 300-level concourse provides access to the upper bowl. The Pavilion's form is based on a pinwheel plan spreading the building's program away from its center while truly mimicking a pinwheel with equally sweeping curvilinear forms. The expansion is part of an overall $55 million expansion of several Indiana University athletic facilities. The project was completed as scheduled in August 2009, and was ready for the Hoosiers when they opened against Eastern Kentucky on September 3, 2009. Alltech Arena is Kentucky Horse Park's -seat indoor arena, expandable to for concerts. The arena floor and championship ring measures 135 feet by 300 feet; in addition in indoor horse shows, Alltech Arena can also be used for indoor football, ice hockey, basketball, circuses, boxing, wrestling, concerts, and other special events. Secondly, locomotives needed to stop regularly to take on coal and water, and hence allow their passengers use the toilets, eat and drink. Thirdly, few early trains had any form of buffet or dining car. Finally, when passengers did arrive at their destination, or at a point when they needed to switch trains or modes of transport, some refreshment was required, particularly for poorer passengers who could not afford to stay in the railway-owned hotels. The league was already set to lose revenue prior to the COVID-19 pandemic due to the controversy involving Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey's deleted tweet about the Hong Kong protests regarding pro-democracy. For the 2018 , 2019 and 2020 NFL seasons Turf Nation Inc located in Dalton , GA have supplied the synthetic turf system for the Superdome, The Superdome has, as of 2017, the largest continuous synthetic turf system in the NFL. Beginning in 2011, demolition and new construction began to the lower bowl of the stadium, reconfiguring it to increase seating by 3,500, widening the plaza concourse, building two bunker club lounges and adding additional concession stands. Crews tore down the temporary stairs that led from Champions Square to the Dome, and replaced them with permanent steps.
In the summer of 2007 a number of renovations were made to what was then called the Sommet Center at a cost of several million dollars. Renovations included changes to concession stands and public areas, as well as major changes to infrastructure. The most obvious change was the August 2007 replacement of the original center-hanging scoreboard (at a cost of $3.6 million) with a new scoreboard made by ANC Sports.Nashville Predators – Features: New scoreboard reaches Sommet Center floor – August 16, 2007 The original analog scoreboard had become outdated and was no longer supported by the original manufacturer, making parts difficult to come by.
The geography and landscaping of the park can be modified, allowing the player to lower/raise terrain and add water to improve the park's attractiveness, as well as to allow rides to fit into their surroundings more easily. Players must also balance the needs of the visitors by strategically placing food stalls, concession stands, bathrooms, and information kiosks. The player also has the option of building their own roller coaster designs as well as other rides by laying out individual track pieces, choosing the direction, height, and steepness, and adding such elements as zero-g rolls, corkscrews, vertical loops, and even on-ride photos, using a tile-based construction system.
The field will be replaced with artificial turf, the grandstand and concession stands will be expanded, the bleachers will be replaced with new ones that conform to the current safety codes, and the press box will be replaced. As of November 2012, more than $75,000 had been raised for the capital campaign, including a contribution of $10,000 donation by the Kysilka Family in memory of Karin Kincaid, class of 1991. The stadium campaign was completed and dedicated before the Homecoming football game in 2014. For the 2012-2013 school year, the PSSAs were eliminated in favor of the Keystone Exams, a new set of exams that replaced the PSSAs.
There is also a Megabytes fast food restaurant on the gaming floor and a full-service mezzanine diner. Megabytes now features marketing similar to Cineplex concession stands and OutTakes restaurants, though at lower prices, while also incorporating a selection of Pizza Pizza and Starbucks menu items. Past cross- promotional partners included HMV Canada, the Toronto Blue Jays (indoor batting cages, baseball camps, and coupons on Blue Jays tickets), the Molson Indy Toronto (the outdoor go-kart track was formerly known as the Mario Andretti Racetrack), and Roots (the lounge was formerly known as the Roots Treehouse). The outdoors also include an 18-hole miniature golf, and Water Wars.
USD The SDSU "Wall of Fame" is located just beyond the right field wall of the stadium. Among the amenities contained within the stadium itself are the following: Two concession stands and two sets of restrooms located behind the seating area on the plaza level. There is also a novelty/souvenir shop located on the outer concourse, featuring SDSU merchandise. A coaches' dressing room and adjacent players' meeting room located at the east end of the first base stands to be used for team functions as well as a lounge for SDSU athletes The Stephen and Mary Birch Baseball Museum located at the north end of the third base stand.
The rebuilt Husky Stadium, in 2016. The rebuilt Husky Stadium is the first and primary source of income for the completely remodeled athletic district. The major remodel consisted of a new grand concourse, underground light-rail station which opened on March 19, 2016, an enclosed west end design, replacement of bleachers with individual seating, removal of track and Huskytron, as well as the installation of a new press box section, private box seating, football offices, permanent seating in the east end zone that does not block the view of Lake Washington. The project also included new and improved amenities, concession stands, and bathrooms throughout.
Albert Wyman, a man who immigrated to the United States from Germany, owned a shoe repair and sales shop on the west end of the town square. During the time Wyman was alive, Sullivan lacked a public park, so in his will he endowed much of his business profit to the city in order to purchase land for a park. While Wyman’s will prohibited any kind of sales from occurring on the grounds of the new park, concession stands were built next to the baseball diamonds in the 1960s. The Moultrie County Historical and Genealogical Society, located in downtown Sullivan, houses a small museum of the county's past.
It is accessible to the disabled, has modern bathrooms, and has ample concession stands, a combination that is very difficult to find in many Israeli stadiums. The stadium has 5,000 parking spots on its premises, and is connected to the Malha Mall and its parking facilities by a pedestrian bridge. The stadium is located at the Begin Expressway and just past the Malha Train Station, which ensures convenient road and rail access to the rest of Israel. With stands close to the pitch and excellent acoustics, Teddy Stadium has hosted several Israel national football team matches, the Maccabiah Games opening ceremony, and other public events.
The improvements, which included a new clubhouse for the Sounds and visiting teams beyond the center field wall, improved field lighting, and improvements to restrooms, walkways, and seating, were made in order to keep the stadium functional for another three to five years. After the 2008 season, Al Gordon's Amerisports Companies LLC sold the Sounds to MFP Baseball, a New York-based group of investors consisting of Masahiro Honzawa, Steve Posner, and Frank Ward. Keeping the team in Nashville was one of the PCL's top criteria for approval of the sale. The new ownership group invested over $2 million to make repairs and upgrades to the aging stadium's playing field, restrooms, concession stands, scoreboard, sound system, and seating.
The current campus, located off Douglas Avenue in the northern section of town, was opened in 1962 after moving from the previous location, now the site of Brewton Elementary School, less than one mile south. The school consisted of three wings of classrooms, a lunch room, a gym, a choir room, an art room, and an office area. The school was expanded to include a fourth wing consisting of four science classrooms in 1994. More recent additions include an auditorium and band room (completed in 1998), a field house for the football program (completed in 2001), a new gym (completed in 2002), and a new football practice field, track, and concession stands (completed in 2011).
2009 The construction of Allen Fieldhouse began in 1952, but quickly ground to a halt because of a federal mandate restricting steel consumption following the Second World War and during the Korean War. However, university officials were able to find a loophole: by adding some rooms for gun and weapons storage, construction of the building was able to continue under the guise of an "armory." Allen Fieldhouse was dedicated on March 1, 1955, a ten-point victory over rival Kansas State. Renovations have included minor seating expansions in 1986 and 1994, as well as accessibility upgrades in 1999 to modernize concession stands and restroom facilities, and to install an elevator in the south end.
In early 2012, Bradenton officials planned to make a $7.5 million loan to pay for "fan-friendly" renovations to McKechnie Field. The proposed upgrades included new seating, enhanced fan plazas, a boardwalk that would circumnavigate the stadium, a tiki bar, more concession stands, restroom improvements, an upgraded sound system and scoreboard. To pay for the ballpark renovations, the city planned to take out a 20-year loan, repaying it primarily from the county's "bed tax", which visitors pay when they stay at a hotel or resort located in Manatee County. Under the deal, the Pittsburgh Pirates, who contributed the equivalent of $150,000 annually to market the city of Bradenton, planned to increase their marketing donation to $400,000 annually.
Yost has undergone a number of renovations to modernize its facilities and improve amenities for spectators. In 1992, a $1 million renovation project replaced the rink floor and refrigeration unit and included the installation of a desiccant dehumidification system. A $5.5 million renovation project completed prior to the 1996–97 season brought new dasherboards with tempered glass, improved lighting and sound systems, state- of-the art ceiling insulation, and the replacement of end zone scoreboards with fully automated boards on the east and west sides. First floor remodeling included a new pro shop, modernized concession stands and restrooms, new locker rooms and an improved lobby, complete with trophy showcases and ornate woodwork.
White City bordered Lake Quinsigamond and included the waters of the lake in some its attractions, such as boat rides, the "Whirl of Air Ships" ride which swung patrons out over the water, and trained diving horses. White City's other attractions were typical of parks of this type: a midway, a fun house, a penny arcade, concession stands, rides, sideshow acts, a roller coaster. White City also included a roller-skating rink, a ballroom, and a stage where musical acts and, later, pop stars (Paul Anka, Jerry Vale, Edie Gorme) performed. The park's original roller coaster opened in 1914.. It was replaced by a world- class (at the time) coaster, the Zip, in 1928.

The Canadian National Institute for the Blind was incorporated on March 30, 1918 to provide food, clothing and sheltered residences for blind veterans returning from World War I as well as the 850 people blinded by the Halifax Explosion in 1917, the largest mass blinding in Canadian history.Jon Tattrie, "How the largest mass-blinding in Canadian history birthed CNIB", CBC, Dec. 4, 2016 It began with 27 employees serving 1,521 people who were blind, primarily in Toronto, with two "home teachers" providing rehabilitation training in other parts of Canada. During the 1920s, CNIB operated a job placement program with limited success, also creating jobs through its own factories, broom shops and concession stands.
After the incident, the remaining 17 bleacher sections passed inspection and showed no further issues, but as a precautionary measure, their motors were replaced later that year. In a 2011 interview with The Daily News Journal, MTSU Athletics Director Chris Massaro envisioned a new indoor track facility elsewhere on campus that would allow the bleachers to be removed and replaced with suites. The building underwent significant renovations in recent years to modernize the roof, lighting, air conditioning system, concession stands, and restrooms. In addition, adjustable curtains were installed over some of the eastern and southern windows of the arena to further prevent sunlight glare during afternoon events, especially for the benefit of those viewing the events on television.
The first phase of the indoor recreation center would include a soccer field, a pool, basketball courts, a climbing wall, and workout facilities that would open at the end of 2010 if the bond measure was passed by voters. A later expansion was planned to add an Olympic-size swimming pool. In June 2008, the FieldTurf installation was completed and construction began on restrooms and concession stands at the park, and the next month the fields opened for use. In July 2008, the city council approved putting a $44.5 million bond measure on the fall ballot, with $39.5 million of those funds earmarked for use at 53rd Avenue Park to build the recreation center.
In 1999, the stadium was renovated and expanded through a $2.5 million donation from the Cameron family, best known as the owners of Cameron Coca-Cola. The renovations included the installation of a new FieldTurf playing surface, the construction of an eight-lane outdoor track, the construction of improved visitor bleachers, and the installation of a new scoreboard. The next year, the college completed phase two of the renovation in 2000 saw the construction of expanded locker rooms, a new women's locker room, luxury suites, two new concession stands, three new ticket booths, and additional seating for 1,000 spectators. A state-of-the-art press box was constructed, along with hardware necessary for television and radio broadcasts.
Louisiana-Pacific, which markets itself as "LP Building Products", paid $30 million over 10 years for naming rights. LP's influence inside the stadium led to the creation of the LP Building Zones in 2007, located beneath the giant scoreboards from Daktronics at the north and south ends of the stadium. The concession stands and restrooms in these two areas were decorated to look like suburban homes using LP products. On June 24, 2015, car manufacturer Nissan, which has its North American headquarters just south of Nashville in Franklin and operates a large manufacturing plant in nearby Smyrna, bought the naming rights for the stadium in a 20-year contract, rebranding the stadium as Nissan Stadium.
Chris Duncan started getting more and more playing time in the outfield and responded with a .324 average for the month. In other developments, Jason Marquis, who gave up thirteen runs in a start against the White Sox in June, gave up twelve runs in a 14-5 disaster against the Atlanta Braves on July 18. Marquis became the first big-league pitcher since Chubby Dean of the 1940 Philadelphia Athletics to cough up twelve runs in a game twice in the same season.JS Online: Avoiding deadline mistakes On July 19, a storm carrying winds of 80 mph struck the new Busch, knocking over concession stands, ripping the tarp, and injuring thirty people.
In its original configuration, the park featured a dance pavilion, a very large swimming pool, an Ingersoll figure 8 roller coaster, a carousel, a scenic railroad, a band shell, a restaurant, concession stands, picnic grounds, and athletic playing fields, such as tennis courts, a football field, and a baseball diamond. In 1908, a theater was added, and Indianola began presented vaudeville for its patrons. The park entertained visitors with everything from Shakespeare's plays and Greek dances, to circus animals and diving horses. Events like hot air balloon ascensions, tightrope walking, outdoor cinema, live presentations of distant sporting events, infant beauty pageants, and massive fireworks extravaganzas were also part of the park's draw.
Part three of the renovations included upgrading the upper-level concourse with buffet-style drink stations and installing double the amount of wi-fi access points than before. Updated signage reflecting the team's current logos and word mark was added to the upper concourse, as well as improved concession stands and new drink concessions. Most notably, almost 100 full- body scanners replaced the traditional "pat-downs" at the main entrances and a new security office was added, as well as other security improvements. In addition, a 13-foot statue of Jerry Richardson flanked by two life-sized panthers was erected in front of the stadium as a gift to then-team owner Jerry Richardson.
Along the shores of Lady Bird Lake is the 350 acre (142 ha) Zilker Park, which contains large open lawns, sports fields, cross country courses, historical markers, concession stands, and picnic areas. Zilker Park is also home to numerous attractions, including the Zilker Botanical Garden, the Umlauf Sculpture Garden, Zilker Hillside Theater, the Austin Nature & Science Center, and the Zilker Zephyr, a gauge miniature railway carries passengers on a tour around the park. Auditorium Shores, an urban park along the lake, is home to the Palmer Auditorium, the Long Center for the Performing Arts, and an off-leash dog park on the water. Both Zilker Park and Auditorium Shores have a direct view of the Downtown skyline.
In 2005, Dunlap underwent an addition of 10 new freshman classrooms, a new auditorium, an auxiliary gym, and music/art classrooms, it was completed in time for the start of the 2005-06 school year. In 2010, DHS added ten classrooms, including two computer labs and a science lab. In 2011, the athletics facilities at the school were renovated at a cost of $5,000,000, including an artificial turf football field, new soccer and tennis complexes, and added concession stands. Phase II of the renovation process began in mid August 2013 and included a two-story addition with an additional 17 classrooms, additional locker rooms, additional student lockers, cafeteria and kitchen expansions, new science labs, and a robotics lab.
Beyond the normal concession area is a food court-style lounge and a simulated court area on the concourse. The arena includes seven upper-level suites and an exclusive Stadium Club area for donors, while also adding floor seating for students. Among the latest technology features of the new arena is a three- tiered rotunda at the main entrance, an interior concourse with concession stands, and a food court-styled dining center with various specialty food items. It features an LED ribbon board that panoramically encircles the entire arena with two 767-square-foot video boards that enhances the total sports gaming experience, the only one of its kind in the Sun Belt Conference.
A concession stand (American English), snack kiosk or snack bar (British English, Irish English) is a place where patrons can purchase snacks or food at a cinema, amusement park, zoo, aquarium, circus, fair, stadium, beach, swimming pool, concert, sporting event, or other entertainment venue. Some events or venues contract out the right to sell food to third parties. Those contracts are often referred to as a concession -- hence the name for a stand where food is sold. Usually prices for goods at concession stands are greater than elsewhere for the convenience of being close to an attraction, with outside food and drink being prohibited, and they often contribute significant revenue to the venue operator (especially in the case of movie theaters).
In 1985, the roof, which was only the middle section, was extended down the first- and third-base lines and AstroTurf was laid over the entire playing surface, boosting the final cost to $12.2 million. Some of the architectural features include two concession stands, two sunken dugouts with separate locker room facilities, the new Grand Slam Booster Club room, a locker room for the umpires, the Verizon Academic Center complete with computers, a laundry room, and a training room. The two-tier press box is air-conditioned and carpeted, and has a radio and a television booth on opposite ends. The stadium seats 4,312, with 3,738 of the seats covered to shelter the fans from the frequent spring rains of Manoa, called the "Manoa Mist" by fans.
SEFCU Arena also can be formatted as a concert venue or to accommodate trade shows and conventions. The arena opened in 1992, as the Recreation and Convocation Center (RACC), as part of UAlbany's transition from Division III to Division I. The current name of SEFCU Arena was adopted on November 1, 2006, when UAlbany entered a 10-year naming rights deal with the State Employees Federal Credit Union. SEFCU Arena is located behind the Physical Education building, which separates it from University Field, and sits adjacent to Bob Ford Field. In addition to university-operated concession stands for food and beverages during events, SEFCU Arena is also the brick and mortar location of the Great Danes Team Store for athletics apparel and team merchandise.
The first phase of the project, which included the addition 968 club seats and related infrastructure to the East mezzanine level of the stadium, was completed on time and within budget for the 2008 football season. The second phase included the addition of approximately 11,500 seats to the previously "open" South end zone, as well as supplementary restrooms and concession stands to the southern end of the stadium. The second phase of the project also involved the addition of a large scoreboard in the South end zone, which is 38' tall by 112' wide, for a total surface area of 4,256 sq ft. The old scoreboard (since demolished) was 22' tall by 30' wide, for a total surface area of .
A tour lasted from 10:10 am – 10:10 pm for those who wanted to see it to grab a ticket at the box office. The tour consisted of the College Basketball Experience, two open concession stands: "Taco Taco" and "Oak Street Pizza"; a free drink from UMB Bank and other free items: a UMB Bank cup, a UMB Bank frisbee, and a UMB Bank ice scraper. UMB Bank is the only ATM in the new arena because it is a T-Mobile Center Founding Partner along with Farmland, The University of Kansas Hospital, QuikTrip, and Olevia. There are other T-Mobile Center Founding Partners: H&R; Block, Toyota, American Century Investments, YRC Worldwide, and Time Warner Cable of Kansas City.
View North from Sand Key toward Clearwater Beach, Florida (2006) Sea oats at Sand Key Park Panorama view of Sand Key Park and County Road 183 from Clearwater Sand Key is a barrier island on Florida's Gulf Coast that stretches from Madeira Beach through Redington Beach, North Redington Beach, Redington Shores, Indian Shores, Indian Rocks Beach, Belleair Shore, and Belleair Beach into Clearwater. The Clearwater portion of the island includes Sand Key Park (a Pinellas County park south of Clearwater Beach). It closes at dark, has picnic and fishing accommodations, a nature trail, beach concession stands, and very spacious parking lots. By contrast, the main part of Clearwater Beach is so densely developed that it can be difficult to navigate by car.
French Meadow Bakery and Cafe is a small local cafe located in Minneapolis, Minnesota which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It features many healthy options that utilizes the baked goods that the bakery makes as well as fresh, local, organic ingredients. French Meadow Bakery and Cafe also features airport concession stands at Salt Lake City International Airport, JFK International, University of Minnesota- Twin Cities, University of Massachusetts in Amherst, airport in Atlanta, Logan International and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airports which offers such products as peanut butter cookies, carrot cake, hemp bagels and a variety of freshly baked breads. These products are made with organic, all-natural ingredients and packed with ingredients such as hemp seeds, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and/or flax seeds.
The facility was renamed Pete Vonachen Stadium at Meinen Field on June 6, 1992, in honor of the Chiefs' owner. After the teams moved to O'Brien Field for the 2002 season, the university began to look for other uses for Meinen Field, eventually settling on its current setup as a soccer-only facility. It was substantially reconfigured, with a few remnants of its baseball days remaining: the old press box; most of the first-base seating area, which now forms the main seating area for the soccer field; some of the light standards; and the concession stands and some other outbuildings on the property. On October 25, 2002, Meinen Field was renamed Shea Stadium after Tim Shea, a Bradley University alumnus.
During halftime of the 1991 rivalry game at the University of Georgia, the band executed a prank that drew media attention and gained a level of notoriety. As the band took the field for its halftime performance, several band members carried a large tarp with the GT logo painted on it onto the field and used it to cover the logo painted at midfield commemorating UGA's football program's centennial. The band's performance could not be heard over the boos that were elicited from the home crowd. Reportedly, the stands remained full during the Georgia Tech band's performance and cleared out when the Redcoat Band took the field, as spectators delayed making trips to the concession stands in order to boo the Tech band's actions.
This was made possible through precise coordination of the building's planning, as well as the mass production of common materials such as windows and spandrels. On one occasion, when a supplier could not provide timely delivery of dark Hauteville marble, Starrett switched to using Rose Famosa marble from a German quarry that was purchased specifically to provide the project with sufficient marble. The scale of the project was massive, with trucks carrying "16,000 partition tiles, 5,000 bags of cement, of sand and 300 bags of lime" arriving at the construction site every day. There were also cafes and concession stands on five of the incomplete floors so workers did not have to descend to the ground level to eat lunch.
Minor changes prior to the start of the 2011 season include the removal of the party tent on top of the LF parking garage to improve views of the U.S. Capitol from upper sections, chrome baseball decorations adorning the outside the stadium, and various signage and concession changes including the departure of Five Guys. Nationals Park also became home of the D.C. Sports Hall of Fame. In June 2011 four new concession stands opened, owned by Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group: Blue Smoke (barbecue), Box Frites ("Belgian-style fries and dipping sauces"), El Verano Taqueria (Mexican) and Shake Shack (hamburgers, hot dogs, frozen custard). The team has also ended Friday night firework shows and fireworks after home runs and team victories.
Because of this distance from any large population centers, a special Western Experience was created at the venue's spectator plaza to give visitors activities to do between competitions. The Western Experience included music and entertainment, a mountain rendezvous, pioneer reenactments, cowboy camps, wild mustang exhibit and American Indian displays, along with concession stands. In order to help cut down on vehicle traffic in the local canyons during the games, and to give spectators a unique experience, SLOC reached an agreement with the historic Heber Valley Railroad to transport spectators to the Soldier Hollow venue. A special station was constructed along the railroad tracks near the venue which would allow for two to four trains, carrying 200 passengers each, per day.
Since then, the park has developed around the pool, adding 50 rides, assorted games, concession stands, and other attractions. A campground with six sites opened behind the amusement park in 1962, and as of 2004, the campground covered with 500 sites. On June 22, 1972, the creeks that run through Knoebels, swollen with heavy rains from Hurricane Agnes, rose over their banks. The flood destroyed six cottages and damaged many other buildings, including 24 of 25 rides and the park's roller rink. The roller rink building was re-floored and used as a skating rink until the mid-1980s, when it was converted into the "Roaring Creek Saloon", which now contains a concession stand, an arcade, the XD Theater, and performances.
In January 2014, the El Paso Diablos of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball relocated to Joplin in exchange for improvements to the stadium's seating, restrooms, lighting, and other infrastructure. They began play in the 2015 season as the Joplin Blasters. A $4.7 million reconstruction of the stadium by Hanson Sports, Corner Greer Architects, and Crossland Construction began in September 2014 which saw the installation of new lighting and fixed seating for 2,400, renovation of restrooms, locker rooms, and team dugouts, plus the addition of concession stands, merchandise sales space, and modern ticket booths. In 2016, the Blasters closed offices and left Joplin and in 2017, the stadium became home to the Joplin Outlaws of the MINK League, as a collegiate wood-bat team.
Yuma was a three-hour drive from San Diego and the local community was eager to welcome them. The Padres signed a five-year contract with Yuma and the city agreed to construct a multi-field baseball facility by spring 1970 which would be Desert Sun Stadium. For spring training 1969, the City of Yuma renovated and improved Keegan Field, adding bleachers, fences, dugouts, locker rooms, batting cages, concession stands, a press box, and PA system. An ad hoc group Community Baseball Boosters assisted Caballeros de Yuma, a civic organization, with fundraising. The groups raised $3,000 from a raffle, $3,000 from a barbecue, and another $3,000 from bumper stickers. During Spring Training in 1969, the Padres’ clubhouse was behind the centerfield scoreboard with showers located outside at the nearby Kennedy Swimming Pool.
The stadium with the newly finished south entrance and enclosed south side on September 2, 2017, in the season's first game against the UTEP Miners. The improvements include the installation of a state-of-the-art Daktronics 16mm HD-ready video replay board in the north end zone, which replaced an older matrix messageboard, and digital 23mm LED ribbon displays along the edges of both upper decks, the north end zone, and the north tunnel entrances. Eight new concession stands were added, along with more than 60 new toilets in the women's restrooms, 30 new water fountains, handrails on all aisles of the upper decks, new speakers in all restrooms, and a new public address system. Phase two replaced the obsolete displays and sound system of the Lloyd Noble Center.
A deep fly to center off reliever Scott Carroll turned into a double off the outfield fence for Jones' first (and only) hit of the game, leading Thorne to say "that green jacket appears well within reach", alluding to the garment given to the winner of the annual Masters Tournament. alt="Attendance" in capital letters written in black marker on a whiteboard, with a large orange zero beneath it Outside the press box, the stands were not entirely empty. In addition to the team staff retrieving fouls, television cameramen set up in their usual locations, and photographers roamed freely, taking pictures not only of the action on the field but the empty concourses and closed concession stands. Other than those groups, three scouts for other major league teams sat near home plate and watched the action, evaluating players for possible trades or free agency signings.
In the late fall of 1998, after many years of talks regarding upgrading the bleachers, concession stands, and the press box, a major remodel was undertaken thanks in large part to a $2.3 million donation by John and Eline Goss. Completed before the start of the 1999 season, the addition of the all new stadium put to rest the idea that the Beavers may not be able to continue to play at their longtime home. With the field right in the middle of campus, there had been discussion of the land being turned over to academic uses. The first official game at Goss Stadium at Coleman field was played March 12, 1999. Lights were added to the stadium in 2002, allowing the Beavers to play their first night game at home on April 27, a 4–1 victory over the 4th ranked Stanford Cardinals.
