The word 'Sosie' in French now means look-alike, a reflection of the events in the play where the character Sosie (a part which was portrayed by Molière himself in the comedy's first production) is a doppelgänger of the God Mercury. The plot can be summarized as follows. After his wedding night with beautiful Alcmene, Amphitryon leaves to participate in a war. Jupiter, who is fascinated by Alcmene's beauty, comes to earth under the appearance of Amphitryon, accompanied by Mercury who has taken the appearance of Amphitryon's servant Sosie.

The book tells the story of an American Indian wolf god, Wanata, who comes to earth to hold humanity accountable for its abuse of nature. In Alaska, freelance journalist Savannah Channing investigates the story of a rampaging wolf pack that is systematically destroying villages. She arrives to find that the problem is worse than she expected and that the military and a brutal bounty hunter have been employed. Wanata is changed into mortal human form by an Indian Shaman's magic and is forced to interact with those he was sent to punish.

Ngai has human characteristics, and although some say that he lives in the sky or in the clouds, Gĩkũyũ lore also says that Ngai comes to earth from time to time to inspect it, bestow blessings, and mete out punishment. When he comes, Ngai rests on Mount Kenya (Kīrīnyaga)and Kilimambogo (kĩrĩma kĩa njahĩ). Thunder is interpreted to be the movement of Ngai and lightning is the weapon used by Ngai to clear the way when moving from one sacred place to another. Some people believe that Ngai's abode is on Mount Kenya.

A Group of Bangladeshi Scientists discovers a planet "Aris-32" but a highly advanced & evolved human-like native alien species of Aris-32 gets the information of their planet being discovered and comes to Earth to stop the satellite technology of Earth, in order to blind the astronomers and space scientists. But the story gets more interesting when the lead alien of their mission, who's a female falls in love with a Bangladeshi human named Niloy. The aliens are exposed, and Niloy fights with all to save her.

M'yrnn J'onzz (portrayed by Carl Lumbly) is J'onn J'onzz's father and another Green Martian survivor who is a pacifist religious leader on Mars. He comes to Earth to live with J'onn, and begins to suffer from a form of dementia which causes him to lose control of his mental powers. He dies and passes on his wisdom to J'onn. From time to time, he appears in J'onn's visions to offer guidance and support like in season five where J'onn asked him about Malefic and what to do about him.

One day, A mysterious alien baby from outer space comes to Earth, and a boy named Michio Suzuki finds him. He takes him as his own child, much to the surprise of his family. As he discovers he can talk (although not perfectly), walk, and do magic, and he causes havoc for Michio with his powers. Like Nobita Nobi from Doraemon (Another manga series from Abiko's friend Fujiko F Fujio), Michio does bad at work and is clumsy, so things go worse when it comes to UB's mischief, even though he's only a baby.

At first he does not trust Ren and asks Fabia for her side of the story after the comes to Earth. Together they expose Ren for the liar he is and the brawlers side with Fabia at which point he is given the real Ventus Hawktor that Fabia gave him. When the brawlers head to Neathia, Shun helps restart the second defense shield by switching Bakugan with Dan and heading to the generator. The mission is a success, but it is later destroyed by Barodius and Colossus Dharak.

In 1950 he appeared in the musical The Liar, directed by Alfred Drake, which only had a short run. Eythe also appeared in a starring (though non- singing) role in the 1950 Cole Porter musical Out of this World, based on the Greek myth of Amphitryon, in which Jupiter (George Gaynes) comes to earth to bed a lovely young lady, taking the shape of her much-loved husband (Eythe). Around the same time, Nelkin was scheduled to appear in the film Blade Runner. An alien named Yusharisp comes to Earth to warn its remaining inhabitants that the universe is coming to an end; his own planet has already disappeared, and the Earth is sure to follow. Jherek is far more interested in Mrs Amelia Underwood, a time traveller from Victorian England, as he is fascinated by the Victorian era.

Tachyon Farflung is a monkey-like alien whose first appearance was in the Danish comic story "The Terror From Outer Space",Coa Inducks — Page to the comic story The Terror From Outer Space where he becomes a relatively important foe of Scrooge McDuck. Tachyon is shown as a notorious intergalactic thief who hid himself on the planet Melbar, described as crime capital of the universe. He discovers Scrooge's fortune by using an interstellar spyscope. Then Tachyon comes to Earth on his spaceship determined to steal Scrooge's Money Bin.

Ichhapyaari Naagin is set in a land called "Naagistan", where many Ichhadhaari Naags and Naagins live. They are nice and some hardly get vicious. One day while watching a TV show, they realize that humans have created a negative image in their minds about snakes and decide to come up with a way to change these perceptions about them. While Chirmiri plans to threaten humans, Ichha believes that perhaps, there might be a more peaceful way to go about with this and comes to earth to change their perceptions.

Later, while investigating an Allspark fragment on a train, Jazz and the other Elite Guard members were unaware that it was actually a trap set by Starscream meant for Megatron. Unfortunately, both Jazz and Ultra Magnus both get blasted back by the fragment.

Though often referred to as a remake or reboot, the film was a legacy sequel. A pair of extraterrestrial teenagers named Sara and Seth who have paranormal abilities, who are in search of a way back to their home- planet, drag a Las Vegas taxi driver named Jack Bruno into their adventures. Before an invasion from other worlds comes to Earth, the teens must find the location of their spaceship which is buried within Witch Mountain. Bruno finds himself aiding the youth, while evading government operatives and an alien bounty hunter/assassin, who are fast on their trail.

In Issue #11: "Lastikman Versus Babaeng Kidlat" (Lastikman Versus Lightning Woman) (December 7, 1995), Lastikman's powers are mysteriously fading. To find out what the problem is, he examines himself in the laboratory of his secluded spaceship deep in the mountains of Sierra Madre. Meanwhile, a "cosmic spirit" comes to Earth and inhabits the body of a female mountaineer, becoming Thundra, the Lightning Woman. Swearing vengeance against Cosmo, the Space Gladiator who destroyed her previous body, she drains all the electricity in the vicinity, causing a massive blackout that affects even the power supply of Lastikman's ship.

She comes to Earth to judge the members of the Royal Family and to make preparations for Kazuto and Valkyrie's wedding during the Stellar Season (Celestial Soul's Day in the English dub). So far, only Kazuto's sister was able to counter Inarba's Thrust of Death, in which the impressed Inarba declares Rika to be her eventual successor, though Rika sees the training as just more homework. ; Nesty : : Another of the eight princesses of Valhalla. She makes a brief appearance in the first series, and is not seen again until the final episode of the third series.

Rama Khan makes his live-action debut in the fifth season of Supergirl, portrayed by Mitch Pileggi. He first appears in the episode "Tremors" where he is depicted as a high-ranking Leviathan member with superhuman powers of seismic and earthen-materials manipulation, including kinetic control of kryptonite, who comes to Earth from Krypton's sister planet Jarhanpur during the Age of Dinosaurs. According to the series, Rama Khan is responsible for a number of cataclysmic events, such as the biblical flood, the Destruction of Pompeii, the 526 Antioch earthquake, the Yellow River Flood, and the 1970 Bhola cyclone.

The Muppets rescue Gonzo, then go to Cape Doom where a crowd of alien-happy spectators await their arrival. After an hour-long wait, the ship comes to Earth and the aliens, who all resemble Gonzo, explain that many years ago they lost him, but now welcome him back into the fold. Singer shows up and tries to kill the aliens, ultimately failing to do so (Rentro having removed the weapon's battery) and is laughed at. Gonzo considers going into space with his long-lost family, but chooses to stay with his fellow Muppet Show cast mates with his family's blessing.

In Jim Henson's Muppet Babies, Gonzo (voice of Russi Taylor) was simply referred to, most often by Baby Piggy, as a "weirdo" or "blue weirdo". In Muppets from Space, Gonzo has a starring role. In the film, he is revealed to be an alien, and his alien family comes to Earth with a big party for him and before their departure they ask him to return to space with them. Gonzo sadly says farewell to the Muppets but he soon realizes that he would be abandoning his longtime friends who have been like his family all along and declines the aliens' offer.

When the "War of the Realms" comes to Earth, Jane assists in getting refugees to safety, with her chemotherapy successfully concluded and her hair now growing back. During the invasion she meets Valkyrie and Frigga, confirming that she was the Thor who defeated Mangog. When a new assault requires Odin and Frigga to retreat to Asgard with various Earth heroes, Frigga appoints Jane to act as All-Mother while she and Odin help to prepare the counter-attack to protect Earth. As the war continues, Brunnhilde and the rest of the Valkyrior are massacred by Malekith and his forces.

The Dragon Ball franchise is one of the most popular manga and anime in the world, and has its fair share of crossovers as well. The creator of the franchise, Akira Toriyama, has used another character from a different manga series he created, Jaco from Jaco the Galactic Policeman as a reoccurring character in Dragon Ball Super. He comes to Earth to warn the characters about the return of Frieza and is later seen in the disputes involving Beerus and Champa. Cyborg 009 VS Devilman is a three part anime OVA that crosses over the Cyborg 009 and Devilman series.

In the Torah, Bible and Quran, Archangel Gabriel comes to earth to deliver visions unto prophets. It gave apocalyptic sights to Daniel, forecasts the birth of Jesus Christ and proclaims Mohammed a prophet. And it seems to be pretty chummy with musicians too, with that trumpet of proclamation that blew on a Behemoth record and on a “Twilight Zone” episode. But for Brad Mehldau, he seems to accept he hasn’t found Gabriel. Instead, he’s desperately trying to delve into clairvoyance to get a better idea on just what the hell is happening in the 21st century.

Gamemnae appears on the fifth season of Supergirl, portrayed by Cara Buono. She debuts in the episode "Tremors" and is depicted as a high-ranking Leviathan member with technokinesis, electrokinesis, and a metallic form who comes to Earth from Krypton's sister planet Jarhanpur during the Age of Dinosaurs. After Rama Khan failed in a super-volcano plot that involved sacrificing Acrata, Gamemnae breaks up the fight and takes over Leviathan's operations. After "Crisis on Infinite Earths" and a week after Earth-Prime was formed, Gamemnae appears at Obsidian Tech under the alias of board of directors member Gemma Cooper.

Urd shares a common father with her younger sisters, but has a different mother, the Demon Lord Hild. Because of this, Urd is a hybrid of Goddess and Demon, reflected in the half-white, half-black appearance of her Angel, . Urd fancies herself a Goddess of Love, so she comes to Earth to spur Keiichi onward with love potions and well-meaning, but deceitful advice, but as punishment for deserting her post and for using her powers on Earth without authorization, The Almighty banishes her from Heaven until further notice. After being allowed to go back, she decides to stay on Earth instead.

From the Towers of the Moon is an opera in one act by Robert Moran, with a libretto by Michael John LaChiusa.International Who's Who In Music And Musicians' Directory 2000/2001 (International Who's Who in Classical Music), Routledge; 17th edition, 200, p. 451, It is based on the classic Japanese tale Princess Kaguya, or The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, which tells of a princess from the moon who comes to Earth. Moran knew the story as The Tale of the Shining Princess and had seen a film adaptation of the legend, Princess from the Moon, made by Kon Ichikawa in 1987.

Prior to Ganbaruger arriving to Earth, an evil organisation which was named the comes to Earth with the intent to conquer and despoil it. From their fortress they launch a missile that will flood the world with (), eggs of darkness which hatch into evil monsters called () based on things that annoy or frustrate humans. The "guardian of light" Eldran appears, an Ultraman-like entity who is sworn to protect the universe and Earth in particular then appears. Using the heroic robot Raijin- Oh, Eldran attempts to thwart the Evil Empire by preventing a missile from striking Earth.

He starts with Superman. Jor-El, Superman's father, is talking to his wife about the imminent destruction of the planet Krypton, when suddenly the destruction itself begins. Since the rocket built by Jor-el is too small, he abandons the idea of saving himself and "chooses" to save his son, sending him to Earth (after a brief thought of sending the baby to the Sun). After the destruction of Krypton, the baby comes to Earth, where he's shown facing enemies like Lex Luthor (who hates Superman because of his hair loss) and Mr Mxyzptlk, besides being portrayed as Clark Kent, Superman's alter ego.

Kalki on horse One of the main reasons Lord Vishnu comes to earth as Kalki is to destroy and defeat evil forces on earth. He begins this with the battle, and eventual massacre, of the Sunyavadis, who have misled the people, at the city of Keekatpur. A war would later begin with Kali, including the demon generals Koka and Vikoka fighting against Kalki and the Devas. Thus, Kali will be defeated at the hands of Dharma, the personification of the Satya Yuga which is evil's polar opposite.. Raja Shashidhwaja, a great devotee of Vishnu, has been granted a boon by Lord Vishnu of defeating Kalki on the battlefield.

In season 3, Rita's brother Rito Revolto comes to Earth and manages to destroy the Rangers Zords and Power Coins. After the group seeks out the Power Coins creator Ninjor, he grants the team new Ninja Power Coins, and Tommy as the White Ninja Ranger receives the Falcon Power Coin and the new Falconzord. Later, Tommy meets Kat Hillard, who has been enchanted by Rita into serving her, resulting in Kimberly's powers being stolen as well as the Falconzord. When Kimberly is kidnapped by Kat and Goldar, the Power Rangers are forced by Lord Zedd to use the Shogunzords to destroy the Earth or Kimberly will be harmed.

As shown in the 1990 film Clarence, in December 1989, Clarence again comes to Earth to assist a human, Rachel Logan, who is in need of his care. Asked to help her by his fellow angel, Logan's deceased husband, he assists her to again appreciate life and her children, and saves her from suicide by bringing her to heaven for a brief visit with her husband. During his time on Earth he also shows that he has the power to take on the looks of a human, in this case Rachel's son Brent, whom he portrays so the boy doesn't get expelled from high school.

Stranger in a Strange Land is a 1961 science fiction novel by American author Robert A. Heinlein. It tells the story of Valentine Michael Smith, a human who comes to Earth in early adulthood after being born on the planet Mars and raised by Martians, and explores his interaction with and eventual transformation of Terran culture. The title "Stranger in a Strange Land" is a direct quotation from the King James Bible (taken from Exodus 2:22). The working title for the book was "A Martian Named Smith", which was also the name of the screenplay started by a character at the end of the novel.

Dong Yong, a kind and diligent man born in Eastern Han Dynasty, is a filial son and a hardworking student, whom his parents were proud of. The Seventh Fairy Maiden, uses the name Yu Xiaoqi, daughter of the Jade Emperor, comes to Earth to meet her second sister's former love, scholar Lao Xinrong. Not knowing Xiaoqi's intention, the Jade Emperor saw this as an opportunity for Xiaoqi to learn more about humans because she is very disobedient and carefree compared to the other daughters. The Jade Emperor chose the Dong family, seeing that Dong is a good person and hopes that the family can guide Xiaoqi to becoming more filial.

In this current era, the nearest that Venus comes to Earth is just under 40 Gm. The show centres around the titular character Watt (Garth Napier Jones); an extraterrestrial with, by human standards, an odd taste in food, and the ability to transanimateobjectify. He comes to Earth to flee his evil uncle: Watt is heir to the throne on his home planet, and his uncle (voice: Michael Kilgarriff) had sent his top henchman Jemadah (John Grillo) to follow and kill Watt. The planet's previous heirs, Watt's parents, are mentioned by Watt as having died in a mysterious 'accident' while on the way to their coronation, which was no doubt caused by the uncle. While Watt is over 300 years of age, he appears to be a human in his early twenties.

Megu-Chan follows the experiences of a powerful (but accident-prone) young witch who comes to Earth as part of her initiation into larger society. Megu is a contender for the throne of the Witch World but knows very little of human relationships. Sent to Mid-World (Earth) in her early teens, she is adopted by Mammi Kanzaki, a former witch who gave up her royal ambitions to wed a mortal. Mammi bewitches her husband and their two children, Rabi and Apo, into believing that Megu has always been the eldest child of the family (the concept of using magic to alter memory would turn up again in future magical girl series, such as Majokko Tickle and Sailor Moon).

However, due to liking Optimus and suspecting that Sentinel was not telling the whole truth of the incident, he promoted him to Optimus Prime and gave him command of the stasis-locked Omega Supreme. In the pilot of Transformers Animated Ultra Magnus learned that's crew had discovered the Allspark and ordered them to stay put until it could be retrieved. He also told Prime not to try to be a hero; unfortunately Optimus disobeyed and had the ship take off anyway, stating that "Ultra Magnus wasn't carrying the Allspark". Ultra Magnus comes to Earth personally in the episode "The Elite Guard" with his fellow Cybertron Elite Guard members Sentinel Prime and Jazz.

The first chapter of the 1948 Superman film serial, titled "Superman Comes to Earth", depicts Superman's origin in detail. In this version, Krypton is a rugged planet that is home to an advanced civilization of super men and women. As Krypton experiences a series of natural disasters, such as volcanic eruptions and tidal waves, Jor-El calls an emergency session of the governing council to warn them of the planet's impending fate. Jor-El explains that Krypton is being pulled into the sun, which will lead to the planet's destruction in short period of time and urges the council to sponsor the construction of a fleet of spacecraft to carry the population of Krypton to Earth.

Mukerji's performance, which was described by A. O. Scott of The New York Times as "divine", earned her a second Filmfare nomination that year, this time for Best Supporting Actress. By the end of 2007, Mukerji's popularity had begun to wane. Rediff.com attributed this to her "monotonous pairing" with the same set of actors; Hindustan Times published that she had become an "exclusive Yash Raj heroine" which hindered other filmmakers from approaching her. New test subjects His protégé missing, Yakage comes to earth along with his two guardians, Kuze and Hakkou, interested in seeing the power of the Lighthawk Sword. During this encounter, Kuze and Hakkou easily dispatched Tenchi, and Yakage, lecturing the boy about his lack of focus, took Ayeka prisoner in order to entice Tenchi into facing him with his full force. Though Yakage is mindful of taking the girl (as she is First Princess of Jurai), as a scientist he must use whatever means are necessary to carry out his research. Ryoko failed in her attempt to defeat Yakage alone (to keep Tenchi from having to fight him), so Tenchi and the others quickly headed off to Yakage's ship to take him down.

The Hal-Con mascot is named Nelson, which is a robot shaped like the Halifax Town Clock. The mascot is seen on Hal-Con promotional material and appears at every community event possible, as well as at the convention itself. Since the introduction of the mascot costume Nelson has appeared in numerous parades, played Laser Tag, avoided the undead in the Halifax Zombie Walk, and even ran a 10k marathon for charity. An origin story for the mascot of Nelson explains how an alien from the planet Teebius named Nee comes to Earth, befriends a mouse named Zipper, makes a home with Zipper in a "Liveable Space Operating Node" (LSON) Robot, and decides to combine his name with the Robot's to become "Nelson".

Thomas Jerome Newton is a humanoid alien who comes to Earth from a distant planet on a mission to take water back to his home planet, which is experiencing a catastrophic drought. Newton uses the advanced technology of his home planet to patent many inventions on Earth, and acquires tremendous wealth as the head of a technology-based conglomerate, World Enterprises Corporation, aided by leading patent attorney Oliver Farnsworth. His wealth is needed to construct a space vehicle with the intention of shipping water back to his home planet. While revisiting New Mexico, he meets Mary-Lou, a lonely, unloved, and simple girl who works as a maid, bell-hop, and elevator operator in a small hotel; he tells her he is English.

An unnamed gaseous alien parasite that comes to Earth to feed on orgasmic energy in "Day One" (2006), claiming that there's no other energy in the universe like it; it's possible that orgasmic energy is like a drug to the gas, and that it's addicted. Composed of vorax and ceranium gases, Earth's atmosphere is poisonous to the alien, so it needs to take a human host to survive for prolonged periods; it doesn't show up on cameras. It vies for control with its host, causing physiological changes that will eventually cause the host's internal organs to explode. The alien also makes its host secrete a blend of ultra-powerful pheromones that cause tremendous sexual attraction in those around it for the purposes of feeding; those with stronger wills might be able to resist the pheromones.

About Loki's motivations, Hiddleston said, "At the beginning of The Avengers, he comes to Earth to subjugate it and his idea is to rule the human race as their king. And like all the delusional autocrats of human history, he thinks this is a great idea because if everyone is busy worshipping him, there will be no wars so he will create some kind of world peace by ruling them as a tyrant. But he is also kind of deluded in the fact that he thinks unlimited power will give him self-respect, so I haven't let go of the fact that he is still motivated by this terrible jealousy and kind of spiritual desolation.

The Little Day is one of several characters impersonating calendar days as Lichtwesen (light creatures) living above the Earth. Each day, one of them comes to Earth and experiences things happening that day, including war, peace and inventions. Each day character has only one chance, reports events on return, and gets ranked by the importance of the events, with sitting in the first row (Erste Reihe) in the meetings being the highest rank. The Little Day waits impatiently for its chance on the next 23 April (in the musical, while it is 23 February in the story), and talks to the Mysterious Day (Geheimnisvoller Tag), a character who was ranked high, but is unsure if the day was a good day, because that day lenses were invented, making glasses and other good inventions possible but also the better aiming of weapons (Zielfernrohr).

The five Power Rangers were aided by a team of scientists and engineers led by Miss Angela Fairweather, and operated out of the Lightspeed Aquabase, an underwater military compound that also deters the hydrophobic demons from directly attacking the base. The five Rangers would be joined by Captain Mitchell's long lost son, Ryan Mitchell, who would become the Titanium Ranger. Together, the six Rangers would prevail against the demon forces time after time, culminating in a final showdown where, in Power Rangers tradition, all of the Zords and much of the weapons and other equipment that was used by the Power Rangers over the series was destroyed. In addition, Lightspeed Rescue featured a reunion reappearance of characters from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy, when the villainess Trakeena comes to Earth to destroy it and the Lightspeed Rangers team up with the Galaxy Rangers.

Green Lantern (vol. 4) issues #29-35 (May - November 2008) During the arc, Hand's energy-absorbing weapon (previously thought to be an original invention) is revealed to have been constructed by Atrocitus, enemy of the Guardians of the Universe and future founder of the Red Lantern Corps.Green Lantern (vol. 4) #32 (August 2008) Atrocitus comes to Earth and approaches Hand, recognizing him as a "doorway to the black" that possesses the power to bring about the Blackest Night. Hand manages to escape and pockets the weapon as he flees.Green Lantern (vol. 4) #33 (September 2008)Green Lantern (vol. 4) #34 (October 2008) The possession of this weapon soon leads him to become an enemy of the Green Lantern Corps, as he now feels a need to extinguish the light of the emotional spectrum.Green Lantern (vol. 4) #43 (September 2009) While being transported to prison, Black Hand experiences a sudden power surge that kills his captors.

Zordon and Alpha 5 return to their home planets of Eltar and Edenoi, respectively in episode 3, which then sees the introduction of Dimitria and Alpha 6 to aid the Rangers. In The Millennium Message, an intergalactic policeman named Blue Senturion comes to Earth bearing a message that in the year 2000, Divatox, Lord Zedd, Rita Repulsa, and the Machine Empire will join forces with Dark Specter in the United Alliance of Evil to take over the universe, with only one force standing in their way. Tommy (Jason David Frank), Adam (Johnny Yong Bosch), Katherine (Catherine Sutherland), and Tanya (Nakia Burrise) are relieved of their duties as Power Rangers at the end of episode 19, and they choose their replacements as T. J. Johnson (Selwyn Ward), Carlos Vallerte (Roger Velasco), Cassie Chan (Patricia Ja Lee), and Ashley Hammond (Tracy Lynn Cruz). Bulk (Paul Schrier) and Skull (Jason Narvy) are turned into monkeys by Elgar in episode 1 and stay that way until the end of episode 17.

Loki comes to Earth after escaping from the Room Without Doors and begins to cause havoc, especially for Thor and the United States after assisting the Liberators (multinational group of superpowered villains representing Syria, China, Iran, Russia, North Korea, and France). Through his power he creates the persona for himself of "Gunnar Golmen", the head scientist of the Norwegian extension of the "European Defense Initiative", the European counterpart to The Ultimates, and turns Thor into "Thorlief", Gunnar's brother, a former mental patient who stole the technology that Gunnar created for the Initiative.Ultimates 2 #4 Later in the story, he confronts the captive Thor and gloats that it is all just another one of his games, and informs him that there is a traitor in the ranks of the Ultimates. When Thor requests assistance from the guards, Loki is nowhere to be seen, though he appears as a snake around Thor's neck after they leave (most likely a nod to the real Loki in Norse mythology).

Like Superman, Superboy appeared as a character in "imaginary stories" during the Silver and Bronze Ages of Comics. These included stories in which Bruce Wayne comes to live with the Kents after his parents are killed;World's Finest Comics #172 (1967) baby Kal-El is raised by gorillas under the name "Karkan", in a tale that resembles the story of Tarzan;Superboy #183 (1972) and #187 (1972) and Kara Zor-El comes to Earth years ahead of Kal-El, becoming Superwoman to his Superboy (portrayed in this story as a juvenile delinquent).Action Comics #331 (1965) and #332 (1966) Kal-El has also appeared as Superboy in two popular Elseworlds tales: Superboy's Legion (2001), in which Kal is raised in the 31st century by R. J. Brande and becomes a founding member of "Superboy's Legion", later known as the Legion of Super-Heroes; and the Superman & Batman: Generations series of stories, in which Superman gets his start as Superboy during the 1920s.

In 2010, an evil energy being named Draias comes to Earth, joining forces with Dr. Jango, a wicked scientist, in secrecy to bring ruin to the world. The follows him to Earth and their members put their spirits into either the special android vehicles built by the Japanese scientist Hiroshi Amano (which have transformable bodies and were intended to be rescue units), or into different service vehicles like an ambulance, a police car or a firefighter truck. Their commander, Fighbird, merges with a human-shaped android created by Dr. Amano to handle his creations, and from then on lives as the human Yutaro Katori. He transforms into the super robot Fighbird when the enemy attacks, and in the meantime he tries to adapt himself to living with Dr. Amano and his grandchildren Kenta and Haruka so he can interact with humans, learn more about Earth itself, and put a stop to Draias' and Jango's plans for Earth and the Universe itself.
