He won the AL co-player of the week for the first time on June 23, 2003, sharing the honor with Corey Koskie. Wells won his first Gold Glove Award in 2004, and a second in 2005. Wells began the 2006 season on a torrid pace, and continued to hit well throughout the year, ending the season with a .303 batting average, 32 home runs, and 106 runs batted in.

She graduated from El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills in 1997. There, she was a four-time All-City Selection in softball, four-time member of Los Angeles Times All-Area team, and the 1997 L.A. City Softball Co- Player of the Year.
Hayes was a four-time CIF Champion while at Foothill High School earning CIF Co-Player of the Year in her Senior Season. Hayes was also Seaview League Most Valuable Player her Sophomore, Junior and Senior years. In 2004, Hayes was named the NCAA Tournament Most Valuable Player after the University of Southern California won the NCAA Championship. Hayes also was named a Peter J. Cutino Finalist in 2004 and 2005.
Charles Maurice Bradley (born October 12, 1963) is an American former professional basketball player who played professionally in several countries, including Spain's Liga ACB. He was a standout college player for the University of South Florida (USF), where he was the 1983 Sun Belt Conference co-Player of the Year and left as the school's all-time leading scorer and is considered the best player in school history.
Following the 2015 season, Jones went on to play for the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League (AFL). Jones was named the AFL Co-Player of the Week for the week ending October 20, and was named to the AFL's Fall Stars Game. On November 5, 2015, while playing in the AFL, Jones was suspended 50 games for his second violation of MLB's joint drug prevention and treatment program.
Young played college basketball at Saint Mary's alongside Matthew Dellavedova from 2009 to 2013. In his freshman year, Young registered 3.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks per game. He increased those numbers to 10.2 points and 5.1 rebounds per game as a sophomore and led the West Coast Conference in field goal percentage. He was named the WCC Co-Player of the Week on 27 December 2010.
Webber played for the CofC Cougars under head coach John Kresse between 1995–96 and 1998–99. During his four-year career he scored 1,267 points and 694 rebounds. As a junior in 1997–98 he was named the Trans-America Athletic Conference (TAAC) Co-Player of the Year after averaging 15.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. The TAAC changed its name in 2001 to the Atlantic Sun Conference.

In 1991 as a senior defensive lineman, he was named San Diego section co-Player of the Year, USA Today second-team All-America and CIF Player of the Year, Cal-Hi Sports first-team, the Los Angeles Times Lineman of the Year. He is the third player from Point Loma High School to have his jersey (No. 76) retired along with Marcel Brown (No. 22) and Eric Allen (No. 25).
It also earned Mark recognition as the Big Ten Special Teams and Freshman co-Player of the Week on November 29. Rivals.com recognized Mark with selection to its Freshman All-American second team as a punt returner. As a sophomore for the 2011 team, Mark switched from wide receiver to running back during the season. Graduated as one of the top face-off men in the college game and was awarded pre-season honorable mention All-American honors by FAce-Off Magazine and Inside Lacrosse in 2005 and 2006. Was named the CAA Co-Player of the Week after his performance in Towson's game against Drexel University.
Robert "Honey" Williams is an American former college basketball player. He played at Grambling State University from 1977 to 1981 and was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference's co-Player of the Year as a senior in 1980–81. Williams was selected to the All-SWAC First Team as a senior and to the Second Team as a junior. He finished his career with 1,876 points and 1,002 rebounds.
Coyle then joined Falkirk, being promoted to co-player-manager alongside John Hughes in 2003. After leaving this post he returned to Dundee United, primarily in a coaching capacity but also registering as a player. A lack of first team opportunities, however, led to him being loaned out to Airdrieonians' successors, Airdrie United; the move was subsequently made permanent. He also took up the post of assistant manager to Sandy Stewart.
At the conclusion of the season, Welch was named Mountain West Conference co-player of the year (with Rafael Araújo of Brigham Young) and an honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press. Welch played the following season for new coach Chris Mooney, averaging 12.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists, but the Falcons missed postseason play. Welch suffered an ankle injury before what would have been his senior season.
In basketball, he averaged 23.6 points and 4.4 blocks per game. He finished his football career with nine interceptions and six kickoff returns for touchdowns. He went to Oregon State University where he was a Baseball America first-team All-American and Pac-10 Conference Co-Player of the year, with Trevor Crowe. In 2004, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Falmouth Commodores of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
St. Pierre was born in Salem, Massachusetts and attended St. John's Preparatory School in Massachusetts. He broke the school's single season and career records for completions, attempts, touchdown passes, touchdown rushes, completion percentage and games played. He earned All-America honors from Tom Lemming, PrepStar and SuperPrep magazines. He was also named Massachusetts and New England Gatorade Player of the Year and was selected as USA Today's Massachusetts co-player of the year.
Bader was named Horizon League co-Player of the Week for the week of December 16–22. Bader made 21 three-point field goals in three games. He recorded the first double-double of his career against Illinois State and made 10 of 15 three-pointers in a loss to Eastern Michigan. He averaged 26 points per game for the week and made 58.3% of this three- pointers while Oakland went 2–1.
Yates began his collegiate career at George Mason and played for the Patriots all four years. He was the Eastern College Athletic Conference's (ECAC) Rookie of the Year in 1982 and its Co-Player of the Year in 1983 (along with James Madison's Dan Ruland). He was selected to four straight All-ECAC South Conference First Teams from 1981 to 1985. In addition, Yates earn honorable mention All-America honors those four straight years.
Barnes was born in Stockton, California. He played college golf at the University of Arizona from 2000 to 2003. During that time he was named the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year in 2000, Pac-10 Co-Player of the Year in 2001, second-team All- American in 2000 and 2001 and first-team All-American in 2003. In 2002, he won the 102nd U.S. Amateur, defeating Hunter Mahan 2 & 1 in the final.
He chose Loyola over higher- profile programs in part due to the promise of immediate playing time. Clemons was a four-year starter for the Ramblers. He broke out as a sophomore in 1979–80, averaging 15.6 points per game. He followed that with a better junior campaign, as he averaged 21.9 points and 7.8 assists per game and was named Midwestern City Conference co-Player of the Year with Oklahoma City's Rubin Jackson.

He played college football at the University of Notre Dame, where he was a two-time second team All-American (1987, 1989), and captained the 1988 national championship team. Bolcar was a sixth-round selection in the 1990 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks.
He led the Lobos to the 2011 Mountain West Conference Baseball Tournament Tournament championship, earning tournament most valuable player honors. In 2012, Peterson improved upon his freshman season, leading the Mountain West Conference in batting average, home runs, and runs batted inleading the Lobos to both the regular season and 2012 Mountain West Conference Baseball Tournament championships. Peterson earned First Team All-American and Mountain West Conference Co-Player of the Year honors.
Gregor grew up in Portland, Oregon, playing for the West Villa F.C. in 1988 and moving to F.C. Portland youth club beginning in 1991. In 1994, Gregor and his F.C. Portland club won the USYSA U-18 national championship with Gregor taking MVP honors. In addition to playing with F.C. Portland, Gregor played for Sunset High School boys team. In 1993, he was selected as the Oregon 4A Co-Player of the Year.
Rufus D. Harris is a retired American professional basketball player. He was the America East Conference co-Player of the Year as a senior in 1979–80 while playing for the University of Maine. After graduating, Harris was selected in the 1980 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics, although he never played in the National Basketball Association. Instead, he carved a professional career in both the Continental Basketball Association and international leagues.
As a junior in 2013, she was again First Team All-WCC, scoring 16 goals and with 8 assists, leading her team in goals scored and tying for the lead in assists. She was a third-team All- American selection. In her senior year in 2014 she scored 17 goals with 3 assists and was again a third-team All-American selection and co-player of the year in the West Coast Conference.
After attending Fountain Valley High School (graduating in 1998), Wilson played at Santa Ana College where in 2000 he was named the MVP of the Orange Empire Conference, and awarded the California Junior College Co-Player of the Year award. Wilson played outfield, first base, starting pitcher, and relief pitcher at Loyola Marymount University during the 2001 season. Wilson was drafted by the Rangers in the fifth round (141st overall) of the 2001 MLB draft.
The 1952–53 Swedish Championship-winning IFK Kristianstad squad In 1949–50, Kristianstad won the league but were eliminated from SM by IK Baltichov in the round of 16. After that season, Gustafsson was replaced by co-player-coaches Karl Fridlundh, Moberg and Evert Sjunnesson. In their first season in charge, the club finished third in the league and reached the SM final, where they were beaten by second-tier team AIK.

In the end, the heart and Jewel hug, and it goes back to the bedroom, where her ex makes up with her, and becomes her friend again. King was named first-team All-American and SEC Player of the Year in 1975 and 1976, and then shared the honor with Grunfeld in 1977, with both being named SEC Co-Player of the Year. Grunfeld graduated from Tennessee in 1977 and King chose to forgo his senior year to enter the NBA draft.
He was a multi-sport athlete at Manalapan High School. In basketball, Firkser played point guard, scoring 21.3 points and 7.6 assists per game. He finished his career second in school history with 1,362 points. In his senior year, the Shore Basketball Coaches named Firkser the Shore Conference Co-Player of the Year. He was also named the Shore Conference ‘A’ North Division Offensive Player of the Year and made the all-state team.
In the Panthers' First Round game in the NCAA Tournament against 2-seed Cincinnati, Simonds scored the team's first 16 points– finishing with 27 along with 4 rebounds. Despite an early lead, GSU was ultimately eliminated by the Bearcats. Simonds earned Sun Belt Player of the Year honors at the end of the regular season. He was also named the Men's Georgia College Co-Player of the Year by the Atlanta Tipoff Club.
Aldridge scored his 2,000th point in a Davidson uniform in a win against Fordham on February 21, 2018. Aldridge scored 45 points in a triple overtime loss to St. Bonaventure on February 28, and was named CBS Sports player of the week. As a senior, Aldridge averaged 21.3 points per game, leading Davidson to a third-place finish in the Atlantic 10. He was named conference co-Player of the Year with Jaylen Adams.
As a redshirt junior, Dukes immediately entered the starting lineup for the Purple Eagles. He averaged 15.5 points and 4.1 assists per game on the season. As a senior, Dukes raised his scoring average to 21 points per game and led the Purple Eagles to a 12–6 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) record. At the close of the 2017–18 season, was named the MAAC co-Player of the Year with Canisuius' Jermaine Crumpton.
Branagh played collegiately at the University of Minnesota. She was twice named to the All- America Second Team as an outside hitter. She also was the Big Ten's co-Player of the Year in her senior season. Following graduation, she played for the United States women's national volleyball team from 2001 to 2003, finishing her national career after the 2003 Pan American Games, where she won a Bronze Medal and was the top scorer.
Beverley attended Waubonsie Valley High School in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois, as a freshman before transferring to John Marshall Metropolitan High School on Chicago's West Side. As a senior at John Marshall, he led the state in scoring with 37.3 points per game and was named Co-Player of the Year. Beverley was also selected to play in the Roundball Classic on April 8, 2006, a national high school All-Star Game held at Chicago's United Center.

Hairston led UNC in scoring in the last five games of the season with 19.6 points per game. He earned ACC Co-Player of the Week honors for his play against Duke and Virginia in February 2013. North Carolina coaches also selected Hairston as the defensive player of the game in the win over Virginia. In Hairston's sophomore season, he was in the starting line-up for the second time in his college career against Duke in February 2013.

Suttle attended John C. Fremont High School in Los Angeles and committed to Pepperdine. Suttle played for the Waves from 1979 to 1983 and was a two-time West Coast Conference all-conference pick and the 1983 co-player of the year with teammate Orlando Phillips. While at Pepperdine, Suttle led the Waves to back to back NCAA tournament appearances in 1982 and 1983. Suttle left Pepperdine as the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,702 points.
Terry Boyd (born October 31, 1969)1993–94 Official CBA Guide and Register, page 271 is an American former basketball player. He played for Western Carolina University from 1990–91 to 1991–92 and was the Southern Conference co-Player of the Year as a senior. That year, he led the Catamounts in scoring 22.8 points per game) and rebounding (5.8 per game). Boyd was also a two-time All-SoCon Tournament Team in 1991 and 1992.
Pitcher Alex Alemann won the 2010 A-10 Rookie of the Year Award, and first baseman Mike Vigliarolo was named the league's co-Player of the Year in 2013. Between 2008–2014, Saint Louis has had eight MLB Draft selections under Hendrickson. The number includes two top-ten round picks: catcher Grant Nelson, a ninth- round pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2013, and pitcher James Norwood, a seventh-round pick of the Chicago Cubs in 2014.
Adam John Morrison (born July 19, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player. Morrison played for three years at Gonzaga University and was considered to be one of the top college basketball players in 2005–06. He was a finalist for the Naismith and the Wooden Award. He was named Co-Player of the Year with Duke's J. J. Redick by the United States Basketball Writers Association and won the 2006 Chevrolet Player of the Year award.
Abrahamson-Henderson earned America East Coach of the Year honors for her efforts. Ebone Henry was named the America East Co-Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. They would win their second straight title, but lose to North Carolina 59–54 in the first round. The 2013–14 Great Danes did not lose a beat, earning a three-peat as America East champion, going 28–5 with a 15–1 conference record.
Ortiz played for Lynn University for four years where she was nominated for the 2011 Sunshine State Conference Co-Player and Offensive Player of the Year. She became the first player in the program's history to receive both awards in the same season. Additionally, she was the very first Offensive Player of the Year and second Player of the Year. At Lynn, Ortiz accumulated over 100 points, becoming the 10th player in school history to accomplish this feat.
Howard attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School, where he was the city co-player of the year in 1978. He accepted a football scholarship from Oregon State University and was a starter as a freshman at linebacker, but decided to transfer to Long Beach State at the end of the season. He was named the starter at middle linebacker as a sophomore. As a senior, he registered 89 tackles (51 solo), 6 tackles for loss and 2 fumble recoveries.

Nolan Arenado during an at bat at Coors Field Arenado and the Rockies avoided salary arbitration on January 15, 2016, agreeing to a one-year, $5 million contract, a raise from $512,000 in 2015. He was named NL co-Player of the Week with Harper for April 18 after leading the NL with four home runs and 12 RBI. He also carried an .852 SLG, led the NL with 23 total bases, and tied for second with seven runs scored.
He was awarded Big Ten Co-Player of the Week on January 17, 2005 after wins over Penn State and at Northwestern. In the Las Vegas Holiday Classic Tournament, he led an undefeated Illinois team and earned MVP honors. His season-high for points occurred twice when he scored 26 points at Northwestern and at Wisconsin. He set a career high with six 3-pointers against Oakland and equaled that mark with six threes against Louisville in the Final Four.

On January 29, 2018, he scored a double-double of 22 points 10 rebounds in an 88–66 victory against Notre Dame. Duke would enter the ACC Tournament as the #2 seed and defeat Notre Dame in the first round. On March 9, 2018, Trent Jr. Scored 20 points and 6 rebounds in a 74–69 loss in the semi-finals against rival North Carolina.
Her 20.2 points per game and 42.0 three-point field goal percentage both ranked second in the AAC. Her 119 made three-pointers that season was the second-highest in school history. On March 6, 2017, Samuelson scored a career-high 40 points against USF; she also set the NCAA single-game record for most three-pointers made without a miss, with 10. She was named the 2017 AAC co-player of the year and the AAC tournament most outstanding player.
On July 8, deGrom pitched seven scoreless innings and recorded 11 strikeouts in giving the Mets their 4,000th franchise victory. Along with Steve Cishek of the Miami Marlins, deGrom was named the National League's (NL) Co-Player of the Week for the period of July 21 to 27 after allowing only one earned run in two starts that week. He was named the NL Rookie of the Month for July. On August 11, deGrom went on the disabled list with rotator cuff tendinitis.
Aycock was recruited in 1991 from Lincoln High School in Dallas, Texas to play college basketball for the University of Kansas (Kansas Jayhawks). At the time she was touted as the second-best player in the country by the Women's Basketball News Service, and was the USA Today and Dallas Morning News Texas Player of the Year. In her sophomore year, she was named team captain. As a junior, she was the Big Eight Conference co-player of the year.
Born in San Diego, California, Glover graduated from Point Loma High School of San Diego in 1992. At Point Loma, Glover lettered in football, wrestling, and track, and he earned awards in all three sports. Under coach Bennie Edens, he was part of the 1990 Pointers team that included Dan White and J. J. Stokes. During the 1990 season, Glover totaled 77 tackles, 17.5 sacks, six fumble recoveries and six forced fumbles, earning the honor of San Diego Co-Player of the Year.
This earned him Atlantic 10 (co-)player of the week honors for the week of March 7. Led by Allen, Temple enjoyed a 29–5 season, captured a share of the Atlantic 10 conference regular season championship with a 14–2 record, and culminated in a third consecutive Atlantic 10 conference tournament title and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. In the NCAA Tournament, Temple was seeded fifth and matched up with 12 seed Cornell in the first round.
James Gregory is an American former basketball player. He is known for his collegiate career playing for the Pirates at East Carolina University from 1968–69 to 1970–71. In three seasons he scored 1,193 points, grabbed 852 rebounds and was named the Southern Conference Co-Player of the Year as a senior. Gregory averaged a team-leading 18.3 points per game as well as 11.5 rebounds per game that season en route to sharing the award with William & Mary's Tom Jasper.
González played for coach Marcos Rodriguez at Miami's Dr. Michael M. Krop High School in Miami, Florida. He averaged 20.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists as a senior. González was tabbed the Class 6-A Florida Player of the Year, First-team all-state and All-Dade County, Miami-Dade County Co-Player of the Year, Miami Herald's Player of the Year, Team reached the 6-A state quarterfinals, and finished 28-4. Earned Co-MVP honors at Florida's 2007 Senior Showcase.
Drew Stubbs graduated from Atlanta High School in 2003. He was a three-time All-American in baseball and two-time academic All-American at the University of Texas. He hit a game-winning triple for Team USA in the gold medal game against Japan at the 2004 FISU II World University Baseball Championship in Taiwan. Stubbs was the Longhorns' co-MVP, named Big 12 co-Player of the Year, and one of five finalists for the Golden Spikes Award in 2006.
Ian Patrick Clark (born March 7, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for the Xinjiang Flying Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He played college basketball at Belmont University. As a senior, he was the 2012–13 Ohio Valley Conference Co-Player of the Year with Murray State's Isaiah Canaan. Clark was third in the nation in three-point field goal shooting percentage and led the Bruins to the conference championship in the school's first year as an OVC member.
In 2012–13 Henry was named the America East Co-Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year with 13.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game. She would also win three straight Defensive Player of the Year awards and three First Team All- Conference. Shereesha Richards was also critical in the 5 straight titles for UAlbany. She would win three America East Player of the Year awards along with a Co-Rookie of the Year Award.
He followed in his father's footsteps, playing both basketball and baseball at Holy Cross. As a freshman shooting guard for the Crusaders, Perry led all freshmen nationally in scoring, netting 23 points per game. Over the course of his four-year career, Perry set the school scoring record with 2,524 points (23.2 per game). He was named ECAC North co-Player of the Year with Maine's Rufus Harris as a senior and earned All-American recognition in all four of his varsity seasons.
He led the team to back-to-back Group AAA championships, along with Eastern Region and District titles. He recorded 19 points, 17 rebounds and three blocks in the state championship game as a senior. He finished his high school career as a two-time VHSL Class AAA Player of the Year and first-team all-state, all-region, All-Tidewater and all- district. He also earned All-Tidewater player of the year as a junior and co- player of the year as a senior.
Coleman attended Halifax County High School, where he finished as the school's all-time leading rusher with more than 3,500 yards in his high school career. He also recorded over 700 receiving yards and 600 return yards. As a senior, he set the Halifax County High School single-season rushing record with over 1,500 yards and also set the school's single-game rushing record with 315 yards. He received first- team All-district, All-region and Western Valley District Co-Player of the Year honors.
Roberts attended St. John's Jesuit High School, in Toledo, Ohio. He was a three-time Associated Press All-Ohio selection (honorable mention, third team, and first team in 2004), two-time District VII Player of the Year, and two-time Toledo City League Player of the Year. He was also named the 2004 Ohio Division I Co-Player of the Year, after guiding St. John's to the state championship game. Roberts' 18 points in the finals led all scorers, as Hamilton edged St. John's 51–48.
During Vincent's final two seasons he earned back-to-back First Team All-SoCon honors. As a junior he ranked 22nd nationally (1st in the SoCon) in rebounding with a 9.7 per game average, and then as a senior his 57.5% field goal percentage ranked 29th nationally. In Vincent's final three seasons he led Furman in both scoring and rebounding. Although he never led the Paladins to a postseason tournament berth, he was named the SoCon co- Player of the Year in 1997–98.
In his 1996–97 junior season he averaged 14.1 points and five rebounds per game and was named to the All-Southern Conference (SoCon) Second Team. Twice that season he was named the SoCon Player of the Week. The Catamounts finished second in the conference behind Phillips' play. The next season, Phillips increased his averages to 16.9 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, was named a First Team All-SoCon member, and was named the SoCon co-Player of the Year with Furman's Chuck Vincent.
Arriving in College Park for the 2002–03 season, Gilchrist had a freshman campaign as a backup to then-Terp guards Drew Nicholas and Steve Blake. Following Blake's graduation, Gilchrist inherited the starting point guard position as a sophomore, leading the team in assists (5.0 pg), scoring (15.4 pg), minutes (34.0 pg), and steals (1.8 pg), while starting 30 of 32 games. For his efforts, Gilchrist was named the Terps' Co-Player of the Year. However, Gilchrist's true coming-out party would be the 2004 ACC Tournament.
Cabrera won the ESPY Award for Best MLB Player for a second year in a row in 2014. On September 7, Cabrera recorded his 100th RBI of the season, reaching the milestone for the 11th consecutive season. Cabrera was the fifth player in major league history to accomplish this feat, joining Lou Gehrig (13 seasons), Jimmie Foxx (13 seasons), Alex Rodriguez (13 seasons), and Al Simmons (11 seasons). Cabrera was named the AL co-player of the week for the week of September 1–7.
He had over 2,000 points in two seasons at Taft. Farmar was named the Los Angeles Times Player of the Year, LA City Co-Player of the Year, and California Interscholastic Federation Los Angeles City Section High School Player of the Year. He earned USA Today Super 25 selection, second-team Parade All-American, Slam Magazine Honorable Mention All-American, CalHi Sports All-State honors, and the Southern California Jewish Athlete of the Year. He was a teammate with former New York Giants wide receiver Steve Smith.
Raivio was named West Coast Conference Co-Player of the Year as a senior, sharing the honor with Sean Denison of Santa Clara. He finished his collegiate career as the second all- time career free throw shooting percentage leader in NCAA Division I history (.927). He finished his career at Gonzaga as the school's 12th all-time leading scorer. He was also second all-time in steals, fourth in assists, and fourth in three-point field goals made at the end of his Gonzaga career.
During his freshman year, Villanueva attended Newtown High School in Queens, New York, where he was a teammate of future NBA player Smush Parker. He spent his next three years at Blair Academy in Blairstown, New Jersey, where he played with another future NBA player, Luol Deng. Villanueva received All-American honors as a senior and was named New Jersey Co-Player of the Year. He entered the 2003 NBA draft, but withdrew his eligibility so he could play college basketball for the University of Connecticut.
Growing up, Kosmalski studied books on the Boston Celtics under coach Red Auerbach, and was impressed that the team only used seven plays. Kosmalski attended Trinity in Euless, Texas, where he was a Texas Sports Writers Association All-State First Team honoree as a senior. Kosmalski was also named Northeast Tarrant County Co-Player of the Year alongside teammate Dylan Osean. Kosmalski averaged 20 points and 13 rebounds per game during his senior season, and he had 34 points and 26 rebounds in two playoff games.
During his first season for PSV, the 2002–03 season, Robben played 33 matches and scored 12 goals. He was named "PSV co-player of the year" along with striker Mateja Kežman, with whom he formed an attacking partnership still fondly referred to by PSV fans as "Batman and Robben". He helped lead PSV to their 17th Dutch title, and won the Talented Player of the Year award. After this good start, PSV could not keep up with rival Ajax and were forced into a fight for second place in the Eredivisie.

However, he missed his June 16 against the Mets due to elbow tendinitis, but an MRI showed no structural damage to the Tommy John surgically-repaired ligament. After leading the NL with a 1.79 ERA and 11 wins through July 6, Wainwright was selected to his third All-Star Game at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was selected as the NL's starting pitcher for the first time in his career.
As a senior, Clausen won the 2006 Hall Trophy for the nation's top high school football player and was also named "Offensive Player of the Year" by the USA Today. Clausen was also named the Co Player of the Year, along with USC running back Joe McKnight, by Parade Magazine. As the younger brother of two former NCAA Division I quarterbacks—Casey and Rick Clausen, who both played at Tennessee—Jimmy Clausen gained media attention very early. Beginning in eighth grade, his parents paid his tutelage under professional quarterbacks coach Steve Clarkson.
Green was born and grew up in Petersburg, Virginia, until he was 12 years old, when he moved in to live with his aunt in Alberta, Virginia. He attended Brunswick High School in nearby Lawrenceville, where he played basketball for former Virginia and NBA shooting guard Bryant Stith. As a senior, Green averaged averaged 18.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 3.1 steals per game and led the Bulldogs to the VHSL Group AA Division 3 state title. He was named first team All-State and the Virginia Co- Player of the Year.
Johnson was expected to be the A's starting first baseman in 2007, but suffered a torn labrum in his hip late in spring training and missed the first three weeks of the season. He returned April 25 and proceeded to get a hit in 16 of his first 18 games. He was named American League co-Player of the Week with teammate Jack Cust for the week of May 7–13. After the hot start, Johnson fell into a slump that lasted the rest of the season and plummeted his batting average to .236.
Lewis was a successful basketball player while at Garfield Heights in his hometown of Garfield Heights, Ohio, leading the team to three conference titles in his four years there. As a senior, he averaged 23 points, 5.1 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game, leading the team to a 24–2 record, the best in school history. Garfield Heights went to the state semifinals his senior year, losing to Trey Burke and Northland High School. Lewis received several awards in his senior year, being named co-player of the year in Division I with Burke.
Oden was born in Buffalo, New York, and moved with his family to Terre Haute, Indiana at the age of nine. He attended Sarah Scott Middle School in Terre Haute, where he first played interscholastic basketball. Oden then relocated with his mother and brother and attended Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, Indiana which he led to three consecutive Indiana Class 4A basketball championships before graduating in 2006. He was named Parade's High School Co-Player of the Year 2005 (along with Monta Ellis) and 2005 National Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
Barnes was born in Arcadia, California to parents, Joyce and Gary Barnes. She attended Upland High School in Upland, California where she was a four-time first-team All-CIF selection. She was rated as the number two overall recruit in the nation by RISE Magazine and Soccer Buzz and was named Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of California. In 2005 and 2006 she was named Parade All-American, NSCAA/adidas Girls Youth All-American, and 2006 CIF-Southern Section Co-Player of the Year.
Dos Santos played for several youth clubs in his native Brazil, including C.A. Juventus and Foz Cataratas E.C., before moving to the United States in 2005 to attend and play college soccer at Virginia Commonwealth University. He made 45 appearances with the VCU Rams over three seasons, scoring 10 goals and 9 assists, earning All-CAA First Team honors in his sophomore season, and being named co-Player of the Year in his senior year. Dos Santos also spent the 2007 season with Richmond Kickers Future in the USL Premier Development League.
The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year is an annual basketball award given to the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference's (MEAC) most outstanding player. The award was first given following the 1971–72 season. There has never been a tie for co-player of the year in the award's history, nor has there been a national player of the year. Two players have been named the MEAC Player of the Year three times: Marvin Webster of Morgan State (1973–75) and Joe Binion of North Carolina A&T; (1982–84).
Brigham Young Cougars Statistics - 2003-04 He was named Co-Player of the Year in the Mountain West Conference, sharing the honor with Air Force's Nick Welch.Araujo still eligible for MWC tourney He was named 2nd Team NCAA All-American by Basketball Times and Honorable Mention All-American by the Associated Press. With his size and strength, the 6-foot-11, 295-pound Araújo impressed many pro scouts during his senior season. On December 6, 2003, he dominated a tough Oklahoma State team, totaling 32 points and 17 rebounds in BYU's 76-71 upset victory.
He lettered in the spring for the C-USA champion UC track and field team. Qualified for NCAA Regionals in the high jump and triple jump. Named C-USA co-Player of the Week after averaging 14.5 points, 8.0 assists and 7.0 rebounds while shooting 69 percent from the field in a pair of UC wins (February 23–29). Scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, both then-career highs, in the win over Saint Louis (February 25, 2004), also recording seven assists, three steals and two blocked shots.
Breaston was selected as Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's co-Player of the Year (with quarterback Tyler Palko) and named an All-American running quarterback by Max Emfinger. The versatile athlete gained 2,545 career rushing yards and 37 touchdowns as a quarterback. As a senior, he carried 151 times for 1,718 yards (11.4-yard average) and 24 touchdowns, completed 33 of 79 passes for 600 yards and was involved in 34 scores overall, including 10 touchdown runs of more than 50 yards. Breaston returned two punts for touchdowns as a senior, including a 93-yarder vs.
He also had 46 points against Oak Hill Academy. For his efforts, Ellis was named 2005 EA SPORTS National Player of the Year and Parade co-Player of the Year with Greg Oden. Ellis led Lanier to a 129–16 record in his four seasons as a starter, winning the 4A state championship in both 2002 (33–5) and 2005 and runner-up finishes in 2003 (31–4) and 2004 (30–5). He finished ranked second in state history with 4,167 points, good for 28.7 points per game.
Wood received several awards for his performance in 2005. Amongst his accolades were: the Joe Bauman Home Run Award, the California League and Single-A Offensive Player of the Year awards, player of the year by Minor League Baseball's official website, and co-player of the year of the Angels minor league system, alongside fellow prospect Howie Kendrick. Wood was selected by the Angels to play on their Arizona Fall League team, the Surprise Scorpions, in October and early November 2005. He hit a league-record 14 home runs for the league runner-up.
Lawanson played for the Fresno State volleyball team and was named MVP of the team in 1982, 1983, and 1984. In 1984, her senior season, she led the Bulldogs to a fifth- place finish at the NCAA tournament, was named NorPac co-Player of the Year, and was an All-American. She was also named the 1984-85 Fresno State Female Athlete of the Year. Lawanson was the first female athlete in school history to have her jersey number retired, and she is a member of the Fresno State Athletic Hall of Fame.

As a result, on November 23, he earned SEC Co-Player of the Week (along with Kenny Gaines). In Kentucky's 2015–16 Southeastern Conference men's basketball season opener against the Ole Miss Rebels on January 2, Ulis posted 20 points and 10 assists. The game marked Ulis' first collegiate double-double and Kentucky's first 20-point and 10-assist performance since John Wall posted one on November 21, 2009.
He established a new career high on February 19, 2020, after recording 21 points in a 70–56 victory over TCU. On March 2, Jones was named Big 12 Conference Co-Player of the Week after scoring a career-high 22 points twice in wins over West Virginia and Texas Tech. By the end of the season, he was averaging 11.5 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game and was named All-Big 12 honorable mention. He reached double figures in scoring 15 times on the season.
Mimis Pierrakos Mimis Pierrakos, Greek: Μίμης Πιερράκος;1906-November 1940) a Greek footballer, was a co-player of Angelos Messaris and the top goalscorer for Panathinaikos in 1936, with 18 goals in 10 games. Beside his excellent technique he was also distinguished for his morals. During the Italian invasion on 28 October 1940, he found himself at the front line of the battle, in the north Epirus mountains. He was killed in the battlefield in the outskirts of Pogradetsh, only a few days before the Greek troops entered victoriously the city (30 November 1940).
On October 7, 2015, Rodriguez was ejected from the NL Wild Card game for his role in a benches-clearing brawl after Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta was intentionally hit by a pitch from Pirates relief pitcher Tony Watson. Earlier in the game, Francisco Cervelli along with Josh Harrison were hit by Arrieta. On December 17, 2015, Rodriguez re-signed with the Pirates on a one-year, $2.5 million contract. For the week of September 12–18, 2016, Rodriguez was named the National League's Co-Player of the Week, after Rodriguez batted .
Pate turned professional in 1975, and was the medalist at the PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament at Orlando in November. During his rookie season in 1976, he won the U.S. Open, his only major championship victory, and the Canadian Open, where he closed with a 63 to win by four strokes over runner-up Jack Nicklaus. Pate was selected as the Rookie of the Year and Co-Player of the Year. Six more tour victories followed between 1977 and 1982, as well as several other titles around the world.
Evan Michael Longoria (born October 7, 1985), nicknamed Longo, is an American professional baseball third baseman for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played in MLB for the Tampa Bay Rays from 2008 through 2017. Longoria played for the Long Beach State University baseball team, was the star CSN Bay Area Cape Cod League MVP, and was named the Big West Co-Player of the Year. He was drafted by the Rays in the first round as the third overall pick in the 2006 MLB draft.
He was second among Big 12 players shooting 60.5 percent from the field and finished his career second all-time among ISU players shooting 59.6 percent from the floor in his career. His 114 career blocks were the sixth-most in school history. In just the second game of the season, McKay scored a career-high 25 points against Chicago State. On December 14, 2015, he was named Big 12 Co-Player of the Week after averaging 17 points and 10 rebounds in three wins against Buffalo, Iowa and Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
On March 10 he was one of 26 players selected for the April 18, 2014 Jordan Brand Classic again along with fellow Minnesotans Travis and Vaughn as well as fellow Duke commits Okafor, Winslow and Allen. On March 17, he won Associated Press Co-Player of the Year (with J. P. Macura). On March 18, he was named as one of three finalists for the McDonald's All-American Morgan Wootten National Player of the Year (along with Stanley Johnson and Cliff Alexander). On March 20, Jones was named Minnesota Mr. Basketball.
Jermaine Crumpton (born April 8, 1994) is an American basketball player for T71 Dudelange of the Total League in Luxembourg. He played college basketball for the Canisius College and was named the 2018 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Year. The Niagara Falls, New York native small forward played basketball at Niagara Falls High School and committed to Canisius in Buffalo as a junior. After sitting out the 2013–14 season as a redshirt, Crumpton was an immediate contributor, averaging 7.2 points in 17.6 minutes per game.
In January 2015, Fuller signed with the Taranaki Mountainairs for the 2015 New Zealand NBL season. On April 14, he was named co-Player of the Week for Round 2 alongside Southland Sharks forward Tai Wesley. In the Mountainairs' final game of the season on June 28 against the Super City Rangers, Fuller set an NBL record for points scored in a game with 54 on 25-of-34 shooting. He also recorded a season-high 19 rebounds in a two-point loss to the Rangers, and subsequently earned Round 13 Player of the Week honors.
As a sophomore, his team went 26–2 and won the 2012 Division I championship defeating Toledo Witmer in the final game. Both junior and senior year Tate went on to be a first team conference player and senior year was co-player of the year in the OCC. He injured his shoulder as a junior, shortening his season, but still averaged 22.3 points, 12 rebounds and three assists per game. Tate ended his high school career as the number 1 ranked player in Ohio and the 15th ranked forward in the nation in the ESPN top 100.
She later lived in Tustin, California. She competed in water polo and swimming for Foothill High School in Santa Ana, California. Kraus received All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) and All-Sea View League recognition in 2001, 2002, and 2003, and was recognized as a CIF Scholar-Athlete each of her four years at Foothill. Kraus was awarded CIF Division I co-Player of the Year, Sea View League Co-MVP honors, and Los Angeles Times All-Star Girls' Water Polo First Team honors in 2004, and also competed for the SoCal club team and the USA National Youth Team.
Allan Lee Graf was raised in Sylmar, California, but transferred to San Fernando High School in tenth grade. According to Graf, San Fernando was the best high school football program in the state in the 1970s. Though originally from mostly white Sylmar, Graf proved himself sufficiently as a defensive player at San Fernando to be elected captain of the more integrated Tigers team as a senior. In 1968, the San Fernando Tigers won the Los Angeles City High School football championship, going undefeated; Graf was selected L.A. City co-player of the year and a Parade Magazine All-American at defensive tackle.
The last major league player to have six hits in a game while hitting for the cycle was William Farmer Weaver, for the Louisville Colonels on August 12, 1890. Kinsler's 13 total bases were also one base shy of Jose Canseco's June 13, 1994, team record. Only three other players in the prior 55 years had had six hits, five runs, and four extra-base hits in a game, the most recent having been Shawn Green of the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2002. Kinsler was named AL co- Player of the Week on April 20, 2009.
On February 18, 2018, he scored a career-high 42 points in a win over Kaukauna High School. Haliburton scored 31 points, including 24 in the second half, and shot 18–of–18 from the free throw line in a Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Division I state championship victory over Brookfield East High School, his program's first state title. He was named Oshkosh Northwestern All-Area Player of the Year, Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year, and FVA co-Player of the Year. Haliburton was selected to the WBCA Division I All- State team and the USA Today All-USA Wisconsin first team.
He concluded his college career there by averaging 24.0 points, 11.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game as a senior. He led the RMU Eagles to a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) championship and was named as the CCAC Player of the Year. He then played in the 2007 NAIA Basketball Tournament, leading the Eagles to the Final Four, where they were defeated by the Concordia University. Despite failing to win the championship, Jeffers was named as NAIA Player of the Year by The Sporting News and as co-Player of the Year the Basketball Times.
He played there for a year, and after that, he moved to CSKA Moscow, where he won the Russian Championship and the Russian Cup (the first in the history of the club). With CSKA that season, he played at the Final Four of the EuroLeague, which was held at Moscow, and was won by Maccabi Tel Aviv, which featured another player from Larissa, Nestoras Kommatos (he was a co-player with Dikoudis in Perseas). In 2005, he returned to Valencia, and he played in the finals of the Spanish Cup. In the summer of 2006, he returned to Greece, and signed with Panathinaikos.
On March 17, 2015, Craig signed with the Wellington Saints for the 2015 New Zealand NBL season. On April 17, he scored 41 points on 16-of-22 shooting against the Taranaki Mountainairs, ending the game just one point short of the all-time Wellington Saints scoring record, held by Mike Efevberha with 42. On April 21, he was named Player of the Week for Round 3 after also recording 25 points and 14 rebounds against the Southland Sharks on April 18. On June 18, he earned co-Player of the Week honors for Round 11 alongside Southland's Tai Wesley.
Brown attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, where he was an All-American American football linebacker with the Ferris State Bulldogs, breaking and setting several defensive records. Brown was the first Ferris State Bulldogs athlete to be named both a first-team Academic All-American and a first-team All-American. In 1992, Brown ranked fifth as a national finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy (awarded to the NCAA Division II Player of the Year) and was named conference co-player of the year in 1992. As a senior, Brown was named the Most Valuable Player of the Ferris State Bulldogs.
In 2003-2004 Hurd was named the 2004 Southland Conference Most Valuable Player after leading the conference in scoring with 19.4 points per game. He also averaged 8.2 rebounds and helped UTSA become the Southland regular season and tournament champions, as well as an NCAA tournament appearance.UTSA - NCAA Tournament Hurd was also named an honorable mention All-American by The Associated Press and recently named Southland Conference 2000's Co-Player of the Decade. Hurd went undrafted and briefly played for the Columbus Riverdragons before moving on to Sutor Basket Montegranaro, Teramo Basket, Solsonica Rieti, Scavolini Pesaro, Anibal Zahle and Virtus Bologna.
Smith played high school football as a wide receiver and defensive back at Santa Monica High School (Samohi). He was the CIF Southern Section Co-Player of the Year in 1976. Dennis Smith was a great prospect who went on to be a Pro Bowl player. But at that time his standard as a player was to emulate Dennis Thurman, who had been such an outstanding player previously at Samohi in 1974 who also later starred at USC and Smith would eventually follow Thurman as a freshman to run track and play football at USC as a safety.
Finley also had 10 outfield assists and won his fourth Gold Glove Award. He was named the team co-Player-of-the-Year with Luis Gonzalez by the Arizona chapter of the BBWAA. In , Finley had a stellar postseason, leading the Diamondbacks with a .421 batting average in the National League Division Series and 5 RBI in the National League Championship Series as Arizona went on to win its first World Series. On August 30 of that year, Finley became the Diamondbacks' first position player to serve as a relief pitcher, during a 13–5 loss to the San Francisco Giants.
He was named AL Co-Player of the Week starting on May 10 with four saves in four innings and four appearances, facing the minimum number of batters each time. His credentials for the first half of the season, 23 saves in 24 opportunities with a 1.19 ERA in 26 appearances, earned him his first All-Star appearance in the 2004 MLB All-Star Game. He was the only Twin on the squad and pitched a perfect seventh inning, getting Bobby Abreu to strike out, Mike Lowell to fly out and Miguel Cabrera to strike out.
Sophomore outfielder Nick Martini was named the league's co-Player of the Year, the first time a Wildcat had received the honor since Craig Wilson in 1992. It was K-State's third specialty award in the past two years after A.J. Morris was named Pitcher of the Year and Brad Hill as Coach of the Year in 2009. Martini shared the Player of the Year award with Missouri's Aaron Seene. Martini was one of three Wildcats to earn first-team All-Big 12 honors as he was joined on the squad by senior third baseman Adam Muenster and junior shortstop Carter Jurica.
Harry A. Davis (born January 27, 1957) is a retired American basketball player who played for two seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs. Davis, a 6'7 forward from Cathedral Latin High School in Cleveland, Davis played for coach Hugh Durham at Florida State University from 1974–78. Davis scored 1,514 points in his career, averaging 14.0 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. His best year was 1977–78, where he averaged 19.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game and was named Metro Conference co-player of the year with Louisville's Rick Wilson.
After a coach spotted Sörenstam playing in a collegiate event in Tokyo, she moved to the U.S. to play college golf at the University of Arizona in Tucson. She won seven collegiate titles and in 1991, became the first non-American and first freshman to win the individual NCAA Division I Championship. Sörenstam was 1991 NCAA Co-Player of the Year with Kelly Robbins, runner-up in the 1992 NCAA championship, 1992 Pac-10 champion and a 1991–92 NCAA All-American. She qualified for the U.S. Women's Open at Oakmont in July, made the cut, and tied for 63rd.
Crowe attended Westview High School, and was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 20th round of the 2002 Major League Baseball Draft. Crowe did not sign with the Athletics, instead enrolled at the University of Arizona, where he played college baseball for the Arizona Wildcats baseball team. In 2003, he played collegiate summer baseball in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox, and was the starting left-fielder for the East division in the league's annual all-star game. Crowe was named the 2005 Pac-10 Conference Co-Player of the Year, with Jacoby Ellsbury.
After spending his first two seasons playing at a junior college, Nelson took his game to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (Chattanooga) in the fall of 1990. He spent two seasons playing at the Southern Conference school, an NCAA Division I institution. In just two seasons he scored 1,047 points, led the Mocs in scoring and rebounding both seasons, and was named the conference co-player of the year as a senior. Nelson, a center, was also a two-time First Team All-SoCon performer who guided Chattanooga to back-to-back co-SoCon regular season championships.

Head Coach David Archer was named the 2006 Co-Head Coach of the Year, along with being honored by Pro Basketball News as one of the Top 12 pro coaches in the USA that are not yet in the NBA. Mike Dean, who averaged 28.0 ppg was named Co-Player of the Year, while Bobby Brown received the '06 WBA Defensive Player of the Year award. After the 2006 WBA season, the Warriors joined the SEBL Summer Pro League, also headquartered in Cartersville.
As a true freshman, Peters averaged 10.7 points and 3.4 assists per game and was named to the Southeastern Conference (SEC) All- Freshman team. He averaged 9.6 points and 4.5 assists in his sophomore season and was named the SEC co-Player of the Week on February 26, 2018 after averaging 17 points, 5.5 rebounds, six assists and 2.5 steals in wins over Texas A&M; and South Carolina. He declared for the 2018 NBA draft, but ultimately decided to return for his junior year. As a junior, Peters averaged 11.9 points, 5.2 assists and 1.7 steals per game.

Asuaje posted a .356/.451/.519 slash line in three seasons at Nova, being named Sunshine State Conference Freshman of the Year in 2011 and Sunshine State Conference Co- Player of the Year in 2012. After his freshman season in 2012, he played collegiate summer baseball for the Yarmouth–Dennis Red Sox of the Cape Cod Baseball League, where he batted .298 in 52 games, and was named to the East Division All-Star team.
Filion moved to the United States in 1998, and enrolled at Artesia High School in Lakewood, California; at the time, he was known as Apolinar Fernández, i.e. with his middle name and his mother's surname, which were part of his full name in accordance to the naming customs of Hispanic America. Filion was highly recruited in high school, and he participated in the 1999 ABCD Camp, where he was named the Underclassmen co-MVP together with T. J. Ford. In 2000, he was named the CIF Division II co- Player of the Year together with Marques Crane of Ocean View High School.
Harris, a defensive standout, unofficially led the nation in steals in his junior and senior seasons (the NCAA began officially recording the statistic two years later). Over the 1982–83 season, Bradley averaged 26.7 points per game to lead the Sun Belt Conference and rank fourth in the nation. At the close of the year, he was named the Sun Belt co-Player of the Year (with Calvin Duncan of VCU) as well as an honorable mention All-American by the Associated Press (AP).
He attended Academy of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii, but played for Maryknoll High because AOP did not have a volleyball team. He helped Maryknoll win the 2006 Division II state volleyball title as a senior. He made the 2007 Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 list, Honolulu Advertiser All-State first team and the All- Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division II first team. He was also played basketball, where he was the 2007 Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division II Co-Player of the Year (with current Trojan Riley McKibbin) while averaging 10.3 points a game as a center, and was involved in canoe racing with the Outrigger Canoe Club.

Jamieson attended Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School in Simcoe, Ontario and then Niagara County Community College where he maintained a 3.98 grade point average and won a NJCAA Division III Gold Glove award in 2009. After two years at NCCC, Jamieson accepted a full scholarship offer to play at Canisius over competing offers from South Florida and Pittsburgh. Jamieson was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Co- Player of the Year as well as the MAAC Male Student-Athlete of the Year and was also selected for the Capital One Academic All-America Second-Team in 2011. The Oakland Athletics selected Jamieson in the 17th round of the 2011 MLB draft.
Brodeur became Penn's All-time leading scorer, passing Ernie Beck, and career leader in blocked shots on March 7, 2020 in a 85–60 win over Columbia while also recording the first triple double in school history in a 21 point, 10 rebound, 10 assist performance. Brodeur averaged 17.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game as a senior and was named first team All-Ivy for as third straight season and the Ivy League Co-Player of the year alongside Paul Atkinson as well as first team All-District 13 by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. He was also named to the First Team All-Big 5.

Harriet Jones was from the beginning lovers with her colleague and co-player Conrad Theodore Knowles (1810-1844), who acted in the inauguration play with her, and she was from 1839 onward known as Mrs Knowles, though the never formally married. They both belonged to the first pioneer generation of professional Australian actors at the Theatre Royal, the first theater in the colony. When the Olympic Theatre opened in February 1842, she followed Knowles there with other leading players, but they returned just three months later. In 1843, she followed Knowles to Melbourne, where she is known to have been active until at least 1845.
Cannon attended William Allen High School in Allentown, Pennsylvania and played under head coach Douglas Snyder for the Canaries. Early on in Cannon's high school career he played sparingly on his high school's junior varsity squad freshman year and only logged 2 points his sophomore year on the varsity squad. However, Cannon had outstanding junior and senior years and he was elected to the PIAA 4A all-state second team after averaging 19.6 points per game, 10.3 rebounds per game and 1.5 blocks per game as a senior. He was also elected The Morning Call (Lehigh Valley) Co-Player of the Year along with future Villanova player Darrun Hilliard.
Kugler has three children: sons Robert and Patrick and daughter Kali, and a stepson, Javi, with wife Monica. Robert and Patrick played on high school football teams that won state championships two straight seasons — in 2009 in New York and 2010 in Pennsylvania. Robert was named the Class AAAA co-Player of the Year by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association, and played college football for the Purdue University Boilermakers from 2011 to 2014, including two seasons as their starting center. His younger son, Patrick, played college football for the University of Michigan Wolverines from 2014 to 2017, including one season as their starting center.

Hunt returned to the United States in 2004 to play his final two college seasons at Texas Wesleyan University of the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). With the Rams, Hunt earned first-team All-RRAC in both 2004–05 and 2005–06, to go with winning Co-Player of the Year in 2005–06. He was also second-team All- American, All-NAIA National Tournament and Texas Wesleyan Athlete of the Year in 2005–06. He led the Rams to the 2006 NAIA Division 1 national championship, scoring a career-high 34 points and hitting the game winning shot in the title game.

Joe was named the SEC co-Player of the Week on January 2, 2020, following a 24 point, five rebound performance in a 71–64 win against Indiana. Joe scored 34 points, including 26 in the second half, on January 12 to lead Arkansas in a 76–72 comeback win over Ole Miss. On February 4, Joe underwent an arthroscopic procedure on his knee after an MRI revealed inflammation and was ruled out indefinitely.

In the off-season prior to his senior year, Crumpton underwent a weight training regimen and lost 30 pounds, resulting in an ability to be more active and improve endurance. Chester E. "Chipper" Harris Jr. (August 30, 1962 – May 26, 2018) was an American basketball player, best known for his college career at Robert Morris University in Pennsylvania, where he was the ECAC Metro Conference co-Player of the Year for the 1983–84 season. Harris came to Robert Morris (RMU) in 1980 after a high school career at Valley High School in his native New Kensington, Pennsylvania. He led the school to the 1979 Pennsylvania state championship. At Robert Morris, Harris teamed with backcourt mate Forest Grant to lead the Colonials from a 3–17 record in their freshman years to back-to back NCAA Tournament appearances the next two seasons.

That season, Pierce led the Celtics to the playoffs for the first time in seven years and on to the Eastern Conference Finals. Following his junior season, Maten declared his eligibility for the 2017 NBA draft without an agent, leaving open the possibility of returning to Georgia for his senior year. Ultimately, after working out for NBA teams he decided to return to Georgia for his senior year to improve his draft position. Long was named Cardinal District Player of the Year, Northwest Region Co-Player of the Year and was a nominee for McDonald's All-American. Long played college basketball for George Mason University's Patriots, where he ranked 10th in the conference in scoring with 15.1 points per game, sixth in steals (1.4), 11th in field goal percentage (47.9 percent) and 14th in assists (2.9). He shot 43.2 percent from three-point range, the third highest mark in the league, and scored double figures in 30 of Mason's 34 contests.

He was a starting forward on the 1984 Westchester High School Basketball Team that was runner up in the City 4A championships, losing to Crenshaw High School. He competed in the 1986 Olympic Festival, and was subsequently heavily recruited out of Los Angeles Pierce Junior College after an undefeated season and being named co Player of the Year with LA Pierce setter, Tony Rusen. After 2 successful seasons at California State University, Northridge, Samuelson attended an open tryout for the US National Team in 1989, and after a 6-month extended tryout, was invited to train with the team permanently. Samuelson was an international favorite, playing in the 1989 World Cup, 1990 World Championships, 1991 World Cup, and numerous other international tournaments and friendly tours.
Payton played two seasons at Salt Lake Community College in Salt Lake City, Utah. He averaged 9.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.9 steals per game as a freshman (2012–13) and led the Bruins to a 29–5 overall record and 14–1 mark in the Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC), where they won the Region 18 Championship and outright SWAC title in 2013. Payton was named First Team All-SWAC and made Region 18 All-Tournament Team as a freshman. Ramsey earned even more accolades his senior season when he was named the American Baseball Coaches Association Co-Player of the Year and the ACC Player of the Year and also earned unanimous First Team All-American honors.
That year he also won the USTA Amateur Champions Men's Doubles, with Edward Carter. In his senior year in 2000 he was named to the USA Tennis Collegiate Team – an elite training program for the top American college players, was the Pac-10 Champion, and the eighth-ranked college player in the U.S. And – along with teammate Alex Kim – he was part of the top-ranked doubles team in the nation, which also was named the ITA National Doubles Team of the Year. He was team captain that year, and also received Pac-10 Co-Player of the Year honors. Abrams became the first player in the Pac-10 tournament's 100-year history to win the boys' 14, 16, California Interscholastic Federation, and men's Pacific 10 singles titles.
Along with teammate Chris Duncan, Carpenter was named NL co-Player of the Week for the week ending August 20. In two starts against the Reds and Cubs, he tallied 17 innings, was charged with a 1.06 ERA and struck out 13 without issuing a walk. On September 11, Carpenter shut out the Astros in a 7–0 final score for his fourth complete game and third shutout of the season. It was also his 50th win as a Cardinal. He became the third member of the St. Louis Cardinals pitching staff to gain his 100th career win in 2006, joining Jeff Suppan and Mark Mulder in a September 16 matchup against the San Francisco Giants. The fracture occurred when Maybin was hit by a 95-mph fastball from New York Yankees pitcher Luis Severino in a spring training game. Kluegel played for the Mahtomedi Zephyrs in high school, where she was Parade Co-Player of the Year in 1998 and an All- American in 1996, 1997, and 1998 after the team won the state championship in 1997. She was also an All-State cross country and track runner, winning the Minnesota state championship in 800 metres in 1994. She also played for the youth club Saint Paul Blackhawks SC. In college, she played for the North Carolina Tar Heels, winning the NCAA championship in 1999 and 2000. She was Soccer America First-Team All-American in 2001, and an NSCAA Third-Team All- American in 2000 and 2001. She was a letter-winner at the school and was included in the NCAA All-Tournament Team in 1999, 2000, and 2001.

Dave graduated from Bay High School and attended Ohio University, where he led the Bobcats and the Mid-American Conference in punting for four straight years. As a senior, Zastudil was selected as a first-team All-American by Football News and the Football Writers Association of America, and was selected as a second-team All-American by the Associated Press. He was also a first-team All-Mid-American Conference selection and the MAC's special teams co-player of the year, after leading the MAC in punting four times. During his senior year, Zastudil punted 50 times for 2,280 yards with a 45.6-yard average, with 16 of those punts having come from inside the 20-yard line, seven touchbacks and a long punt of 74 yards.

She graduated from Stanford with a degree in human biology.
Hamilton starred at Scott County High School under coach Billy Hicks from 1996 to 1999, earning four varsity letters. He helped lead the Cardinals to the 1998 Kentucky State Basketball Championship before helping guide them to a state runner-up finish in 1999. Pence made his major league debut as the Houston Astros center fielder on April 28, 2007, versus the Milwaukee Brewers and got his first major league hit and scored his first run.
