In another related charitable event, Hodgson planned with Weinstein and Corbett, reprising their voice roles as Crow and Tom Servo, to riff two new shorts, including the typical skits used in the show, as part of a crowdfunded effort to support MIGIZI, a Native American youth non-profit group whose headquarters were destroyed during the George Floyd protests in May 2020.

It was announced that she will be hosting the 2011 VH1 DoSomething Awards, airing on VH1 on August 18. Lynch hosted the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards on September 18, 2011, only the third woman in Emmy history to host the awards show solo. According to the edition of September 19 of The Hollywood Reporter, Lynch hosting the Emmys did not help ratings, as viewing was down 8% year over year and eight million fewer people watched the Emmys than watched Michael Vick's return to Atlanta on Sunday Night Football on NBC (21.5 million for Eagles-Falcons, 13.5 million for the Emmys). The pair worked on a number of projects, the most significant being the creation of an annual South African charitable event called Positive. Positive was conceptualized by Kilford and Rajah with a view to bringing art, music and fashion together as one to help combat AIDS. Sponsored by Sun International Hotels the event helps fund The Tapologo Aids Hospice which was founded by Bishop Kevin Dowling of the Catholic Diocese of Rustenburg. The first Positive event took place 8 to 11 June 2006 at Sun City and incorporated fashion shows by Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino as well as a headlining performance from SEAL. Kilford curated two exhibitions, during the event, the main exhibition called “Hope Healing and Compassion” including over 110 South African artists. The second exhibition was the ‘Wall of Hope’, this included a number of small paintings created by a wide range of leading bands, celebrities and children from the Tapologo AIDS Hospice on the subject of “Hope”.

The New York Guitar Show was an annual charitable event- a two-day vintage guitar exhibition and sale scheduled on the third weekend in September and held at the Mary Help of Christians Church on E. 12th St. and Avenue A in New York City attended by vintage guitar dealers from across the United States. Over the span of a 15-year period (1986–2000) the New York Guitar Show was the only regularly scheduled vintage guitar event dedicated entirely to charity in the United States. Originally started by Ken and Kathy Heer, East Village music dealers (Saint Mark's Music Exchange) in 1983–84 at a midtown Manhattan hotel as a for-profit event, the production was purchased by Skip Henderson, an ex-social worker turned vintage guitar dealer (City Lights Music) from New Brunswick, New Jersey, moved to the Mary Help of Christians church auditorium at E.12th St. and Ave. A, and changed into a not for profit venture primarily to support the AIDS Resource Foundation for Children in Newark, New Jersey.

The show was the first to raise over $1 million in 1966, the first to shown entirely in color in 1967, the first becoming a networked telethon in 1968, the first going coast-to-coast in 1970, the first to be seen outside continental U.S. in 1972, the largest sum ever raised in a single event for humanitarian purposes in 1974, the greatest amount ever pledged to a televised charitable event in 1980 (from the Guinness Book of World Records), the first seen by 100 million people in 1985, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 1990, the first to have its highest pledge in history in 1992 and the first to be seen worldwide via internet simulcast in 1998.
