Unknown to the general public, however, is that the A-Laws misuse their power and employ inhumane tactics to oppress freedoms, doctrines, and ideologies, all in the name of 'unity'.
Saji Crossroad reclutantly joins Setsuna to pilot the upgraded 00 Raiser and confront his girlfriend Louise Halevy who has joined the A-Laws. Unknown to Celestial Being and the A-Laws, a third party is manipulating both sides of the conflict. This group call themselves "Innovators", composed of Alejandro Corner's former assistant Ribbons Almark, and his six subordinates. Subsequently, it is revealed that Aeolia Schenberg's plan is to ensure humanity's survival; unite the world's factions through Celestial Being's armed interventions and then advance humanity into deep space and undergo Innovation, a trans-human process.
Camay, the belief of an object being a conduit for a deity, is particularly significant when considering the function of the Lanzón. Though it was made of terrestrial material, the Lanzón housed a celestial being, the people of Chavín even brought it offerings of food and ceramics. Furthermore, the central image of the Lanzon functions as axis mundi, or pivot linking the heavens, earth and underworld. This concept is also reflected in the raised and lowered arms, one linked to the celestial and the other linked to the terrestrial.
Most Christ mythicists follow a threefold argument: they question the reliability of the Pauline epistles and the Gospels to establish the historicity of Jesus; they note the lack of information on Jesus in non-Christian sources from the first and early second centuries; and they argue that early Christianity had syncretistic and mythological origins, as reflected in both the Pauline epistles and the gospels, with Jesus being a celestial being who was concretized in the Gospels. Therefore, Christianity was not founded on the shared memories of a man, but rather a shared mytheme.
In a similar legend, Lan was drinking at a tavern in Hao-liang, and heard the music of pipes, and then a crane flew down and landed on the table on the terrace of the restaurant where Lan was eating and drinking. Lan rode the crane up to Heaven, throwing down their sash and only shoe. When onlookers tried to pick up the sash and shoe, the things vanished. In this story, the crane (in some tellings, a swan or stork instead) is a celestial being that represents immortality.

Willing to sacrifice anyone to achieve that goal, she would rather the world be destroyed if it cannot change. In the second season, Liu Mei is shown to be supporting both Celestial Being and the Innovators, effectively playing both sides until Ribbons has no more need of her. Forming an alliance with Regene, Liu Mei hands Setsuna the coordinates that reveal Veda's location, only to be later killed by Nena Trinity as she attempts to leave the battlefield. Hong Long (; Hon Ron) : Wang Liu Mei's steward and bodyguard, also of Chinese descent, who accompanies her faithfully.
However, a freak accident resulting in the death of a superior officer and his sudden promotion made Graham a victim of rumors. When Celestial Being makes its appearance in the world, Graham is promoted to Captain of the Over Flags. Though he originally had a love for the Gundams, the actions of Team Trinity causes Graham's feelings to exceed into utter hatred. In the final moments of Operation Fallen Angels, Graham uses the GN Flag to attack Setsuna, exchanging blows and clashing ideals with him before the battle ends with Graham receiving scars on the right side of his face.
He also has a secret connection with the Innovators. When his nephew, Billy, is recruited into the A-Laws, he installs him as an MS Technical Chief and tells him that he has high hopes in him. When the 00 Gundam destroys the ship led by Lee Zhejiang to stop the Ptolemaios II from escaping to space, Commander Katagiri reluctantly decides to accept the aid of the Innovators in order to defeat Celestial Being and prevent further sacrifices. The Innovators soon deployed in the A-Laws as licensed officers, with new, powerful suits to combat the Gundams.
They are characterized by their advanced ability to use quantum brainwaves and directly interface with Veda, as well as their agelessness and androgyny. Tieria Erde is also an Innovade, but has sided with Celestial Being, and a number of other Innovades were shown participating in ordinary life worldwide in the final episode of season 2. ; : Ribbons Almark is the main antagonist of the series, acting through Alejandro Corner in the first season before abandoning him. Seeing himself to be godlike, Ribbons' main goal throughout the series has been to twist Aeolia's plan to suit his own agenda of ruling humanity.

When Grave is assigned to eliminate eyewitnesses to the Gundams and those aware of Celestial Being's existence, Leonard and Delphine are second among the designated targets; when Grave spares them, they elect to find Allelujah, whom they have come to regard as a comrade, and join Celestial Being. In Gundam 00I 2314, Leonard has been designated as a Gundam Meister for Fereshte under the code name and charged with protecting Delphine and Hayana as they retrieve the GN Drives from Jupiter.
In honor of his significant contributions to Carnatic music, he is widely referred to as the Pitamaha (lit. "father" or "grandfather") of Carnatic music. He is respected as an Avatara (incarnation) of the great sage Narada (a celestial being who is also a singer). Purandara Dasa was a wealthy merchant of gold, silver and other miscellaneous jewellery from Karnataka, who gave away all his material riches to become a Haridasa (literally meaning a servant of Lord Hari or Lord Krishna), a devotional singer who made the difficult Sanskrit tenets of Srimad Bhagavatam available to everyone in simple and melodious songs.
Newtype Magazine, July 2007 Unable to counter Celestial Being's superior technology, the three major powers eventually unite into the United Nations Army in order to counter Celestial Being's armed interventions. In order to fight the Gundams, the United Nations Army employed the help of Laguna Harvey. Harvey, a Celestial Being intelligence agent turned traitor, provides them with 30 GN-X, mobile suits equipped with pseudo-GN Drives. As the United Nations resist Celestial Being's interventions, a second team of Gundams, known as Team Trinity, appears and assists in the Meisters' eradication of war, albeit in a much more cruel and cold-blooded fashion.
Scheiner believed that these dark spots were visible because there were small orbiting bodies around the Sun, which would block the sun's light. This explanation would allow him to avoid Aristotle's belief that the Sun was a perfect celestial being. Then, under the pseudonym Apelles latens post tabulam (Apelles hiding behind the painting), he presented his description and conclusions about them in three letters to the Augsburg banker and scholar Mark Welser. Scheiner wanted to remain anonymous, because he believed in order to avoid involving the Jesuit order and the church generally in an area of controversy.

Sim Cheon-jeon jeonjip (심청전 전집 Complete Collection of Sim Cheong-jeon) (edited by Kim Jin-yeong et al., Pagijong, 2004) contains a total of 83 different editions of the story. Woodblock editions are largely divided into three groups: “Hannam edition version” and “Songdong edition version,” which were published in Seoul, and “Jeonju edition version.” Major differences among the three versions are: 1) the appearance of a celestial being who comes down to earth (Hannam edition version), 2) the appearance of Bbaengdeok's mother (Songdong edition version), and 3) the appearance of Lady Jang (Jeonju edition version).

His last appearance is shown 50 years later after his departure paying a visit to a now elderly Marina Ismail who is almost blind, she burst into tears as soon as she hears his voice; Setsuna is showed to have become a Human-ELS hybrid and he seems to have not aged since he left. ; :; :: Neil Dylandy is the first Lockon Stratos who decided to join Celestial Being because his parents and younger sister were killed in a terrorist bombing. Bring is killed when he joins the attacking of the Ptolemaios II on Earth, fighting Tieria Erde whom he attempts to reason with (arguing that Tieria should join the other Innovators because he was one of them, to which Tieria replies by saying he isn't and that he is human) before his opponent reveals the Seraphim Gundam for the first time. Four months after, Ribbons reveals the creation of a massive army of Divine and Bring clones. ; : Divine Nova is Bring Stabity's genetic twin and makes his first appearance piloting the prototype mobile armor Empress after Celestial Being successfully destroys Memento Mori.
During this creative process, Eminescu distilled Romanian folklore, Romantic themes, and various staples of Indo-European myth, arriving from a versified fairy tale to a mythopoeia, a self-reflection on his condition as a genius, and an illustration of his philosophy of love. The eponymous celestial being, also referred to as "Hyperion", is widely identified as Eminescu's alter ego; he combines elements of fallen angels, daimons, incubi, but is neither mischievous nor purposefully seductive. His daily mission on the firmament is interrupted by the lustful calls of Princess Cătălina, who asks for him to "glide down" and become her mate. He is persuaded by her to relinquish his immortality, which would require approval from a third protagonist, the Demiurge.
After going into hiding at the end of the first season, Setsuna reappears four years later and rejoins Celestial Being as the pilot of 00 Gundam during his fight with the Innovators and then 00 QAN[T] during his battle with the ELS. Disappearing at the end of the fight, Setsuna F. Seiei reappears decades later. Throughout the series he had a connection with Marina Ismail, though whether or not the connection was romantic was never truly explored, as it seems (from certain flashbacks) that Marina reminds him of his beloved mother whom he had to kill to join All Al- Saachez's guerrilla when he was a child. Both deny romantic feelings when asked, nevertheless Marina is one of the most important people for Setsuna.

While he manages to escape the base, he is almost immediately captured by the ESF army under Sergei Smirnov's charge; he unwittingly leaks the whereabouts of Katharon base and one of Sergei's men leaks it to the A-Laws.
Unlike the other Gatekeepers of that period, Matt was referred to by his modern name, saying "he likes that one better". It is possible that Matt could have some kind of divine name as the past battle with the Old Ones was so long ago that myth may have been passed down depicting Matt as a god or another celestial being. Indeed, this is highly likely as Pedro's past life, Inti, was worshiped by the Incas, in Scar's past life, she was Lin Mo, the Chinese goddess of the sea, and in Jamie and Scott's past lives, they were the Iroquois Indian gods, Sapling and Flint. The four of them represent South America, Asia, and North America, respectively, with Matt representing Europe.
This causes Chiharu's spirit to be cleansed of her vengeance and be reborn as a celestial being, freeing her from the bonds of her grave, and she takes on the new name of "Shin Hisako". Hisako uses a "Wrath meter" that gives her attacks the added effect of becoming counter-hits, even when her opponent does not attack, as well as a teleport, a low dash, and several command grabs. Following Season 3, a new version of Hisako, named Shin Hisako, was introduced; this version wields a Katana in place of a Naginata, and has completely different moves and properties, including the ability to summon a spirit that can be converted into a projectile or a homing target for Shin Hisako's teleport and leaping attacks.
In Fengshen Bang, Taiyi Zhenren is the renowned teacher of Nezha, the celestial being destined to bring peace back to the Zhou Dynasty. Taiyi Zhenren is stationed atop Mount Champion and instructed Nezha to stay at Old Pond Pass - the place he had been born. After Nezha created further issues with a stone spirit Shiji Niangniang, Taiyi Zhenren would soon be seen face to face with her in front of Taiyi Zhenren's cave which Nezha retreated into for protection.
His final and current alias is "Green Arrow" which he adopted when returning to Star City, since Roy Harper previously confessed to being "The Arrow" to protect him. While in Russia, though not used by him to identify himself, he was known by others as Luchnik and Kapiushon. During his time in prison he was given the prison number of "Inmate 4587". After his death and resurrection, he trained with Jim Corrigan in Purgatory and became a celestial being known as the Spectre, who would assist the Paragons in escaping the Vanishing Point and sacrifice himself to use his new powers to defeat the Anti-Monitor in combat at the Dawn of Time and create Earth-Prime, consolidating the CW superhero shows into one Earth.
Contrary of the other Meisters who were either K.I.A. or M.I.A. in the end of the first season, Tieria continued to work for Celestial Being during the four-year time-skip. At the end of the second season, Tieria is killed by Ribbons Almark while trying to stop him from taking control of Veda. Tieria, however, manages to upload his consciousness into Veda itself, subsequently ending the battle by remote-controlling Seraphim from Veda's core and activating its Trial System to shut down all enemy mobile suits. He briefly returns in the movie in a new body and pilots Gundam Raphael briefly before sacrificing himself to save Setsuna; he eventually ends up uploaded into Setsuna's 00 Qan[T] and is last seen when the Gundam departs to the ELS homeworld.
The Life Entity formed as the embodiment of life at the beginning of the universe. While at first it was not known whether the Entity was brought into the universe by accident or by design, it was recently established that apparently the Life Entity was formed when the celestial being named Perpetua used the Life Force to create the multiverse. After driving away the forces of the Black, the Entity was weakened as it was divided into the seven colors that led to the development of the Emotional Spectrum and other numerous organisms. This saw the birth of Ion (the Green Entity of willpower), Parallax (the yellow entity of fear), the Predator (the violet Entity of love), Ophidian (the orange Entity of avarice), the Butcher (the red Entity of rage), Adara (the blue Entity of hope), and Proselyte (the indigo Entity of compassion).
Orange and Purple Haros In Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Celestial Being had produced unknown numbers of Haros as an assistant of daily maintenance works. Currently at least 6 unique Haros have appeared in the animation production. The Haros in the series took much more maintenance and combat role than any other series' counterpart, usually seeing them operating with various machines, including mobile weapons. The Haro which appears most is the Orange Haro, kept by the Gundam Meister Lockon Stratos, which accompanies him in the Gundam Dynames's cockpit, usually performing radar-like duties by detecting and warning Lockon of any incoming enemy units or attacks. In the event of close combat, Lockon's Haro is able to pilot his Gundam for him while he uses his sniper rifle, and control the additional shields that Dynames receives in episode 6.

Na Young Suk PD expressed, “The four are too familiar with each other, and they know what each other is thinking just from looking at each other's eyes.
The Christ poem is significant because it strongly suggests that there were very early Christians who understood Jesus to be a pre-existent celestial being, who chose to take on human form, rather than a human who was later exalted to a divine status. Importantly, while the author of the poem did believe that Jesus existed in heaven before his physical incarnation, this does not necessarily mean that he was believed to be equal to God the Father prior to his death and resurrection. This largely depends on how the Greek word harpagmon is translated in verse 6 ("Something to be grasped after / exploited"). If "harpagmon" is rendered as "something to be exploited," as it is in many Christian Bible translations, then the implication is that Christ was already equal to God prior to his incarnation.
Earl Doherty and the Argument to Ahistoricity Over time, Carrier's views shifted to the point that he accepted Doherty's premise as the most likely explanation of Jesus. He wrote, "It does soundly establish the key point that Jesus was regarded as a pre-existent incarnate divine being from the earliest recorded history of Christianity, even in fact before the writings of Paul, and that this was not even remarkable within Judaism."Bart Ehrman on How Jesus Became God Elaborating on this hypothesis, Carrier asserts that originally "Jesus was the name of a celestial being, subordinate to God, with whom some people hallucinated conversations", and that "The Gospel began as a mythic allegory about the celestial Jesus, set on earth, as most myths then were." Stories developed placing Jesus on Earth, and placing him in context with historical figures and places.

He however ends up being released by Sergei so he doesn't fall into A-Laws hands. Meanwhile the A-Laws attack the Katharon base, an attack that ends in the slaughter of many Katharon's members which is only stopped by Celestial Being's intervention. Saji then gets some sense by force (literally as Tieria notices his freak at the slaughter and hits him) and learns that turning your back so the problem doesn't affect you because feeling you don't belong there is also a kind of malice, as Katharon base is destroyed and Tieria no longer trust in Saji's judgement he is forcefully boarded on the Ptolemaios again. While on the Ptolemaios II, he reluctantly becomes a part of the crew and learns the truth behind the events years ago and the motivations of the Gundam Meisters, allowing him to abandon his grudge and eventually understanding Celestial Being.

Ehrman notes that Doherty, like many other mythicists, "quotes professional scholars at length when their views prove useful for developing aspects of his argument, but he fails to point out that not a single of these scholars agrees with his overarching thesis." Ehrman has specifically criticized Doherty for misquoting scholarly sources as if in support of his celestial being-hypothesis, whereas those sources explicitly "[refer] to Christ becoming a human being in flesh on earth – precisely the view he rejects."Bart Ehrman (25 april 2012), Fuller Reply to Richard Carrier James McGrath criticizes Carrier, stating that Carrier is ignoring the details, and that "Philo is offering an allusive reference to, and allegorical treatment of, a text in Zechariah which mentioned a historical high priest named Joshua."James McGrath (sept. 16, 2012), Further Problematizing Richard Carrier’s Claims about Jesus According to Hurtado, for Paul and his contemporaries Jesus was a human being, who was exaltated as Messiah and Lord after his crucifixion.
Terrocotta sculpture of tirthankara The large cavern at the base of the site is thought to have been built around the 9th century. In the 10th century it was converted into 30 separate chambers, possibly to accommodate figures of Tirthankaras and a yakshi. Similar to Ellora caves, the representation of celestial being performs a ritual on tirthankara is present. An inscription found on a buried rock in front of the gopura at the base of the hill from the late 10th century refers to the site as Vaigai-malai or “the mountain of Vaigai.” Two other inscriptions found on a piece of rock at the top of the hill and buried on a piece of rock underneath the steps between the gopura and the painted cave refer to it as Vaigai- Tirumalai or “the holy mountain of Vaigai.” The name Vaigai is thus thought to be connected with Vaigavur, the historic name of the village at the base of the rock.
