The band recorded a single, an EP and contributed to the Propeller Records compilation tape during its recording days.
The Fortune Hunters however sabotage the zeppelin and destroy it, along with Nathan personally fighting Blake himself. Blake loses, and the Fortune Hunters leave Pacifica. The Pop-Up exhibition "CCCP: Cosmic Communist Constructions Photographed" was held in an unused portion of a print shop on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles from April 11 to May 17 2008, and featured Frédéric Chaubin's photographs of late Soviet architecture. In 2009, the Spacebuster, a portable, expandable pavilion designed by Raumlabor to transform public spaces of all kinds into points for community gathering, traveled throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn for 10 consecutive evenings hosting various community events. In 2011, Storefront responded to the Occupy Wall Street movement in New York City by calling for public submissions of ideas for improving communication with economic and political powers. In 2012, Storefront teamed up with design studios Family New York and PlayLab to help add exposure for the +POOL project, as part of the Storefront Starter initiative.
Payne has played with various rock and progressive rock outfits since the late 70s, including touring the UK with the Jimi Hendrix-inspired Moonstone and CCCP, as well as working with Roger Daltrey, and ELO Part II. In 1991, Payne joined British progressive rock group Asia, to replace their original lead singer and bassist John Wetton. Meanwhile in the 90s, Norlander was performing with his band Rocket Scientists, as well as working on collaborations with his wife Lana Lane. Payne remained as Asia's frontman until 2006, when Asia's original lineup reunited, including Wetton returning to replace Payne, a split that Payne has described as "painful". Following this, Payne formed GPS with fellow expelled Asia members Guthrie Govan (guitars) and Jay Schellen (drums), with Ryo Okumoto of Spock's Beard on keyboards.
Vasile Ernu (born 1971) is a Soviet-born Romanian writer. The ontology of the pair could be accurately characterised as philosophically Luciferian or Epicurean (often incorporating Christian/Catholic, or Thelemic themes but permuted idiosyncratically). Other areas of focus include the modern experience of present-day Europeans, kink/BDSM, parallels between cycles of nature and the human experience, and anomie. For example, the album Cocktails, Carnage, Crucifixion And Pornography used the initials CCCP -- Latin characters that appear identical to the abbreviation in Cyrillic for the former Soviet Union -- but modified [in the band's analysis of 2003] to indicate what Russia was becoming known for at that time (according to interviews from that period). Further sources of inspiration include Aleister Crowley, William Blake, the bands Depeche Mode, Laibach, SPK, Death In June, Current 93, Coil, writers Daniil Kharms and Ayn Rand and filmmakers Tinto Brass and Andrew Blake.
The State Emblem of the USSR and the embedded letters forming the abbreviation of the USSR (CCCP) were both removed and replaced by five Russian double-headed eagles. An additional restoration of the coat of arms of the various territories of the Russian Empire were placed above the eagles. Notable anti-communist measures in the Russian Federation are the banning of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (and creating the Communist Party of the Russian Federation) as well as the names of some Russian cities reverting to what they were before the 1917 October Revolution (Leningrad to Saint Petersburg, Sverdlovsk to Yekaterinburg and Gorky to Nizhny Novgorod) though others were maintained with Ulyanovsk and Tolyatti being examples. Even though Leningrad and Sverdlovsk were renamed, regions that were named after them are still officially called Leningrad's and Sverdlovsk's regions.
Other individuals with whom McCartney has collaborated include English producer Hugh Padgham (Press to Play), English musicians Elvis Costello (Flowers in the Dirt) and Jeff Lynne (Flaming Pie), American producer David Kahne (Driving Rain and Memory Almost Full), and English producer Nigel Godrich (Chaos and Creation in the Backyard). In the 2010s, McCartney has recorded music with American rapper Kanye West ("Only One", "FourFiveSeconds" (with Rihanna) and "All Day"), the surviving members of Nirvana ("Cut Me Some Slack"), and American producers Greg Kurstin and Ryan Tedder (Egypt Station). In addition to writing his own songs, McCartney has recorded cover versions of songs throughout his career, most notably on CHOBA B CCCP (1988), Run Devil Run (1999), and Kisses on the Bottom (2012). He also produced Thrillington, an instrumental cover album of Ram in the jazz and lounge genres under the name Percy "Thrills" Thrillington.
Voluntary Sports Societies (VSS) of the USSR () were the main structural parts of the universal sports and physical education (fitness) system, that existed in the USSR between 1935 and 1991, together with already well established Dinamo, society in cooperation with Army, Aviation, and Fleet (DOSAAF), and CSKA sports societies, all of which were classified as Departamental Sports Societies (DSS) of the USSR (DSS-USSR) (Russian: Ведомственное спортивное общество (BCO) CCCP, Vedomstvennoye Sportivnoye Obshchestvo SSSR (VSO SSSR)). VSS united sporting people, offering hiking, mountaineering, boating, and various other sports. Their goals were to develop mass physical culture and sports and to provide facilities and conditions for sports training and improvement in athletes' skills. Most of the VSS were governed by trade Unions and often were closely associated with a certain ministry (aircraft industry, food workers, tractor industry, KGB, Red Army, Soviet Air Force), with industries being state-funded.
By default, DirectShow includes a number of filters for decoding some common media file formats such as MPEG-1, MP3, Windows Media Audio, Windows Media Video, MIDI, media containers such as AVI, ASF, WAV, some splitters/demultiplexers, multiplexers, source and sink filters, some static image filters, and minimal digital rights management (DRM) support. DirectShow's standard format repertoire can be easily expanded by means of a variety of filters, enabling DirectShow to support virtually any container format and any audio or video codec. For example, filters have been developed for Ogg Vorbis, Musepack, and AC3, and some codecs such as MPEG-4 Advanced Simple Profile, AAC, H.264, Vorbis and containers MOV, MP4 are available from 3rd parties like ffdshow, K-Lite, and CCCP. Incorporating support for additional codecs such as these can involve paying the licensing fees to the involved codec technology developer or patent holder.

Roger Corman acquired the film for US distribution and hired a young film- school student named Francis Ford Coppola to Americanize it.Gary A. Smith, The American International Pictures Video Guide, McFarland 2009 p 19-20 In addition to preparing a dubbing script free of anti-American propaganda and all references to the USSR, and supervising the dubbing, Coppola slightly re- edited the footage, eliminated the framing "daydream" sequences, and even saw to it that a pastel rhombus shape was matted in on a shot-by-shot basis, to cover the Cyrillic letters CCCP (USSR) which adorned the space station and Soviet rocketships. Coppola also had filmed a few shots of two space monsters fighting and cut them into the Soviet material. According to Jack Hill, who worked on the new version (it was his first paid job for Roger Corman), Coppola's idea was that one monster would look like a penis and the other a vagina.

Through changes in the line-up of Diaframma over the years, several well-known Italian rock musicians recorded and toured with the band: Daniele Trambusti (drums, already working with Litfiba, Avida, Bella Band and many other Italian rock acts of the 80s and 90s), Alessandro Gerbi (drums, already working with CCCP Fedeli alla linea), Gianni Cerone (drums), Alessio Riccio (drums), Simone Giuliani, now a record producer and film composer living in New York City (keyboards and vocals), Alessandro Gherardi (keyboards), Guido Melis (bass), Riccardo "Foggy" Biliotti (bass). Diaframma reached the status of cult band because of charismatic leader Federico Fiumani's statements and fierce lyrics. Fiumani more than once turned down major label deals and declined to participate to mainstream events such as the Sanremo Music Festival in order to preserve his artistic independence and maintain Diaframma's integrity.. The Italian alternative rock band C.F.F. e il Nomade Venerabile has dedicated to the leader of Diaframma a song called Fiumani, from the album Ghiaccio, released in 2004.
Russian coat- of-arms eagles (below) substituting the former state emblem of the Soviet Union and the CCCP letters (above) in the facade of the Grand Kremlin Palace after the dissolution of the Soviet Union As of 2008, nearly half of Russians viewed Stalin positively, and many supported restoration of his previously dismantled monuments... In 1992, President Yeltsin's government invited Vladimir Bukovsky to serve as an expert to testify at the CPSU trial by Constitutional Court of Russia, where the Communists were suing Yeltsin for banning their party. The respondent's case was that the CPSU itself had been an unconstitutional organization. To prepare for his testimony, Bukovsky requested and was granted access to a large number of documents from Soviet archives (then reorganized into TsKhSD). Using a small handheld scanner and a laptop computer, he managed to secretly scan many documents (some with high security clearance), including KGB reports to the Central Committee, and smuggle the files to the West..
