According to Joystick, there are 52 original characters in the game to interact with, as well as 80 puzzles to solve and 120 objects to retrieve throughout the course of the game. The main objective of the game is to locate and collect several items to build a machine that has an opposite effect to that of the main antagonist, Count Nefarious.

It is composed of a sequence of segments ambitiously chronicling the formation of Earth ("Creation"), the rise of human civilizations ("Civilization Rising"), and the technological advances of humanity from the advent of agriculture to the future exploration of the cosmos. The video speculatively concludes with a segment of what might be the next sentient species to arise on Earth, as well as the CGI short Stanley and Stella in: Breaking the Ice. The soundtrack was composed by James Reynolds.

Finnish icebreaker escorting a merchant ship in the Baltic Sea Today, most icebreakers are needed to keep trade routes open where there are either seasonal or permanent ice conditions. While the merchant vessels calling ports in these regions are strengthened for navigation in ice, they are usually not powerful enough to manage the ice by themselves. For this reason, in the Baltic Sea, the Great Lakes and the Saint Lawrence Seaway, and along the Northern Sea Route, the main function of icebreakers is to escort convoys of one or more ships safely through ice- filled waters. When a ship becomes immobilized by ice, the icebreaker has to free it by breaking the ice surrounding the ship and, if necessary, open a safe passage through the ice field.

Nevertheless, he continues to try to reach O-ha by breaking the ice towards her, and comes as close as clamping his jaws down on her hind leg and trying to drag her down with him, but she escapes him and Sabre sinks to his icy death alone. O-ha goes over to Breaker and thanks him for saving her, but the Foxhound's injuries are mortal, and he dies. O-ha then returns to Camio, bringing him some food, and when questioned about her ear she replies that it was just a little tussle with an ermine.

An inquest was opened at the Marylebone workhouse on 16 January presided over by Edwin Lankester, the coroner for Central Middlesex, at which time 29 of the 34 bodies recovered had been identified. The inquest resumed on 19 January to identify the remaining bodies and on 21 January the formal taking of evidence began. Several witnesses were called to relate the vents of the day and it was revealed that on the morning of the tragedy some workmen had been employed in breaking the ice around the islands on the lake; this was to give the wildfowl on the lake some open water. Abdul Hadi was elected its President and functioned as such until 1980.

XOXO Arcade featured 12 unreleased or exhibition-only games with their designers and developers on- site, including TumbleSeed, Thimbleweed Park, Rain World, Memory of a Broken Dimension, Beglitched, Secret Legend, Tetrageddon Games, Funomena's Luna, and Multibowl, an experimental mashup by Bennett Foddy and AP Thomson combining 230 two-player games from the 1980s and 1990s. XOXO Tabletop brought the creators of 13 independently produced board and card games to show their work, including Beasts of Balance, the Jackbox Party Pack, the Spaceteam card game adaptation, Emily Care Boss' Breaking the Ice, and Illimat, a Kickstarter- funded board game created by game designer Keith Baker and The Decemberists. Singer Colin Meloy and illustrator Carson Ellis joined Baker to play the game with attendees. Jim Guthrie and Minecraft soundtrack composer C418 performed daytime DJ sets, and the closing party featured a surprise performance by Dan Deacon in the XOXO Outpost building.
