The Legion of Ratu Adil, also known as Angkatan Perang Ratu Adil (APRA) or the Prince Justice Legion was a pro-Dutch militia and private army established during the Indonesian National Revolution. It was founded by the former KNIL Captain Raymond Westerling following his demobilisation on 15 January 1949.Westerling (1952), p. 146 The militia's name was derived from a passage from the medieval Book of Prophecies of Jojo Boyo which prophesied the coming of a Ratu Adil or Queen of Justice who would be of Turkish descent and come to save the people of Java and establish universal peace and justice.

Francis Isidore Wainchom Nkwain (19 April 1931 — 19 October 2014) was a Cameroon politician and educator. He served as a senator and as a member of the Central Committee of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement. A native of Boyo in north-west Cameroon, he was initially a Catholic mission teacher, having been educated at the St. Anthony Primary School, but in 1960, after 15 years of practicing that profession, he changed his career trajectory to public political service by attending the University of Ghana to study Sociology and Administration. Born in Bellshill, Lanarkshire, Owens adopted the ring name Jake Kilrain while still an amateur. He began his professional career in 1931 and in his first three years won over thirty fights and suffered only two defeats. After a defeat at the hands of the experienced Boyo Rees in April 1934 he was out of the ring for almost a year due to hand injuries before returning with another loss by disqualification to Fred Lowbridge. Fighting shark and crocodile, the emblem of Surabaya city applied since colonial times, derived from local folk etymology The name of Surabaya, Indonesia, is locally believed to be derived from the words "suro" (shark) and "boyo" (crocodile), two creatures which, in a local myth, fought each other in order to gain the title of "the strongest and most powerful animal" in the area. It was said that the two powerful animals agreed for a truce and set boundaries; that the shark's domain would be in the sea while the crocodile's domain would be on the land. However one day the shark swam into the river estuary to hunt, this angered the crocodile, who declared it his territory. The Shark argued that the river was a water-realm which meant that it was shark territory, while the crocodile argued that the river flowed deep inland, so it was therefore crocodile territory.
