The actual physical structure of the board can withstand much greater force equivalent to around 300 kg (660 pounds).

The intent of this display is to be consistent and identical for all viewers so that all participants are seeing the same information at the same time. Since lines are sorted onto the display, then individual posters can edit, update, or delete individual lines of their bulletins at any time to keep the bulletin board up-to-date to all viewers. All APRS messages are delivered live in real-time to online recipients. Messages are not stored and forwarded, but retried until timed out.

The water flowing past the hydrofoil wings generates lift, which can be controlled by the rider to move the board up and down or side to side above the surface of the water. The rider must be centered over the post of the hydrofoil; small body movements will cause great reactions with the hydrofoil. In order to "float" upward the rider leans back while maintaining balance to avoid pitching forward unexpectedly. To go back down the rider leans forward or pushes down with the feet.

Around the same time of starting Genghis Tron, vocalist Mookie Singerman sang and played guitar in the two-piece project Glitter Pals with his friend Jake Friedman while they were attending Vassar College. Friedman also featured on the song "Laser Bitch" on Genghis Tron's EP Cloak of Love (2005). Genghis Tron has toured with such bands as Behold... the Arctopus, Converge, Kylesa, Gaza, The Dillinger Escape Plan and The Faint. In 2008 the band released an album, Board Up the House "Disc of the week".

The office was created on 15 October 1831, and was initially known as the Board of Works. It was formed out of the merger of the Office of the Surveyor-General for Ireland, the Barracks Board, and Navigation Board. Up until the early 1920s, The OPW was an All Ireland body, operating as part of the Irish Executive, the branch of the British Government in Ireland. The OPW had responsibility for the majority of heritage sites within the Republic of Ireland prior to 1996.

A Manual is a trick similar to a bicycle wheelie where the skateboarder balances with only the front or the back wheels touching the ground. Manuals can be done with either or both feet or on a single wheel. A Manual in which both feet are straight on the nose is called a Hang Ten; its tail counterpart is called a Heelie. English Manuals place the back foot at the back bolts and the front foot underneath the nose, hooking the board up until balance is achieved.

Donald's top half emerges with brush bristles in his mouth that he spits out. Sensing the disruption once again stops and dispatches a set of robotic arms to pick up Donald by his sleeves and finally get him clean by a much more brutal method. Holding Donald high in the air, the robotic arms take Donald to a giant wash board and a giant barrel filled with water. The arms smack Donald into the water and then the wash board up and down ferociously until it holds him under water for a short break.

After bringing the tiger home, John instructs his workers to board up the house in preparation for an approaching hurricane. As the windows are being secured, Kelly confronts John and begs him to give her the remainder of the money; he explains that he spent it all on the tiger. Kelly is angry with him, telling him that her mother (who committed suicide by taking an overdose of pills) wanted the money to go to Tom and Kelly. However, there was no official will, so John took the funds for himself.

Chanel #2 answers various questions via the Ouija Board, up until she tells them that Chad is cheating on Chanel, which angers Chanel. Chanel wants to prove her wrong. Chanel walks into the Dickie's house, calling for Chad until she walks into his room and catches him shirtless with a goat on his bed. At first, she thinks that he was having sex with the goat, but Chad then explains that he's lactose intolerant and his reason for having the goat is that goat's milk is lactose free.

When Nat notices more birds, including the gulls, above the sea waiting for the tide he decides to board up the windows and chimneys of his house as a precaution. Nat rushes to pick up his daughter, Jill, from the school bus stop to keep her safe. On his way back he spots his boss, Mr Trigg, who has a car, and persuades him to give Jill a lift home. Mr Trigg cheerfully professes to be unfazed by the announcements and plans on shooting at the birds for fun.

Realizing that the dogs will return for another assault, Jerry tells his family, Marge, Hardiman and Walker to board up the windows and doors of the house. Later that night, the group carries Dodge's body down to the docks and place him in a boat, pushing it out to sea to prevent the pack from trying to get to it. Knowing that the dogs will be back, they quickly return to the house and lock themselves inside. The following morning, Walker wakes up and hears the sound of a motorboat near the docks.

The Tropical Storm Warning in place for Saipan was canceled during September 15 as Choi-wan intensified into a high-end Category 4 equivalent super typhoon. All watches and warnings were discontinued during the afternoon of September 16 once Choi-wan was no longer a threat to the Mariana Islands. By September 15, shelters were opened throughout Tinian and Saipan at local schools, most schools and all governmental buildings were closed and residents rushed to board up their homes. The American Red Cross had also mobilized on the islands by this time.

Finally, lumping groups of one's own pieces together is usually poor strategy. It is desirable to capture on every move, or at least take a DVONN piece; keeping all of one's pieces together often makes this difficult. Spreading pieces out across the board also increases the chance of maintaining a short (and therefore highly mobile) stack into endgame, where it may be moved into position for a crucial capture. It may also be possible to string a line of one's own pieces across the board up and down.

Randy tells the boys that the seniors were able to organize so effectively because they get up earlier than everyone else, representing an advantage over their offspring, who prefer to sleep late. Randy then realizes that the children get up almost as early as the seniors, and are the only hope for getting the town back. Randy tells the boys to hide in the woods and find a way to fight, shouting through the fence, "Avenge me!" After fleeing, the boys resolve to board up the Country Kitchen Buffet restaurant in order to cut the seniors off from their collective food supply.

Akasegawa discovered the first Thomasson in 1972, in Yotsuya, Tokyo when he noticed a staircase that had no entranceway when one reached the top. The handlerail of the staircase, however, showed signs of repair, suggesting it was still being maintained despite the apparent uselessness of the staircase itself. The following year, Akasegawa discovered a boarded up ticket window at Ekoda station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. The plywood used to board up the window had been cut neatly to fit the curved stone tray of the ticket window, where it had been worn through years of use.

Houses buried by ash Houses close to the rift were soon destroyed by lava flows and tephra fall. A few days after the eruption began, the prevailing wind direction moved to the west, resulting in extensive tephra falls over the rest of the island, causing extensive property damage. Many houses were destroyed by the weight of the ash fall, but crews of volunteers working to clear the ash from roofs and board up windows saved many more. By the end of January, tephra covered most of the island, reaching 5 metres (16 ft) deep in places.

Now a stay-at-home mother of three children, she and her family made it back to Iowa, settling down in the rapidly growing community of North Liberty. There, she began serving on the PTO of her children's school and worked on a revenue purpose campaign with the Iowa City School District. She headed multiple campaigns from local school board up to county commissioner and organized a "walking school bus" project for kids. Nielsen also sat on the board of directors for the North Liberty Community Pantry and served as member of the Iowa City Community School District's Equity Advisory Committee.

An almost non-tapering calico double-extension bellows is employed; allowing the projected image to freely reach the photographic plate regardless of lens offset position. The camera folds flat, after the back panel is brought forward to the lens panel, by folding the hinged base board up, and thus conveniently protecting the focusing screen. For insertion of the wooden dark slide plate cassette, the hinged focusing screen is swung up and away. The Reisekamera was made available for several plate sizes; most common are the 13×18 cm, 18×24 cm and 24×30 cm versions.

In 2009 MorningSide was one of nine community-based organizations selected from a pool of over forty applicants to receive a Community and Property Preservation (CAPP) program, which is funded by The Kresge Foundation. They used the $4950 to fund four projects: Lawn Maintenance, Mural Painting, Residential Board-Up and Trash Removal. The association's president, Kelley Marks, was featured in the Model D Media report "37 Minutes in MorningSide with Kelley Marks". In October 2010, MorningSide was awarded the Moe (Most Outstanding Neighborhood on the Eastside) Better Neighborhood Group award from the Warren/Conner Development Coalition.

If the demand existed for a road between Ross River and the Sahtu region, it would make more sense to build along an entirely new route that was actually recommended in 1942 by the First Nations member who was called upon to locate a route. Such a route would emerge from the mountains opposite Tulita, Northwest Territories. The of Canol Road between Milepost 222 and the Mackenzie River is now the Canol Heritage Trail and traveled by hiking and mountain biking. Clean up of the Northwest Territories section has been underway since 2007 to remove old telegraph wire, remove hazardous materials and demolish or board up old buildings.

The SCTA also holds six events at El Mirage Dry Lake in Southern California. It is responsible for ensuring compliance with BLM standards for use of public lands, safety regulations for competitors and spectators, technical inspection of race vehicles, timing recording of record attempts and maintaining a list of current class records as well as history of prior record holders. The organization is governed by a Board of Directors that is made up of five elected members consisting of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Sergeant at Arms. The balance of the Board, up to 17 total members, are appointed by the elected Board members.

For coordination purpose, VNHRN consists of three main bodies: the Coordinating Committee, The Supervisory Board, and the Advisory Board. Up to now (2016), the following three persons have been entrusted with the function of heading the Coordination Committee: Prof. Nguyen Thanh Trang (1997–2005 and 2007–2009), Mr. Le Minh Nguyen (2005–2007), Mr. Nguyen Kim Binh (2017-2019, and Dr. Nguyen Ba Tung (2007-2017, and 2019 up to present).

The board then cascades all orbs down and fills the board up once more; this may result in more combos, known as . Damage is based on what colors were matched in the combos: for example, a basic combo of 3 red (Fire) orbs will have any player monster that is Fire attribute deal its damage equal to its base attack stat (ATK) to one creature. When heart orbs are matched in a combo, this restores health to the team based on the team's total health recovery stat (RCV). Combos of more than 3 orbs of the same color will increase the damage dealt for each additional orb.

Opening a locked door with the keys, Alice finds a bathroom covered in dried blood. Elsewhere in the building Alice finds mysterious notes and scraps of information that seem to point to the house being used as a base for suspicious activity, as well as torn military papers belonging to someone named Malcolm York Mosely. Alice and Barney use the clothes they discover as bedding, board up the door, and settle in for the night. Back in the present day jail scenario, Richard and Alice attempt to lower the temperature in their jail cell by fashioning an implement to adjust the Environmental Control Unit outside their cells.

Nosegrind Slides and grinds involve getting the board up on some type of ledge, rail, or coping and sliding or grinding along the board or trucks, respectively. When it is primarily the board which is contacting the edge, it's called a slide; when it's the truck, it is a grind. Grinding and sliding skateboards started with sliding the board on parking blocks and curbs, then extended to using the coping on swimming pools, then stairway handrails, and has now been expanded to include almost every possible type of edge. Grinds and slides on street environments were brought to mainstream skateboarding by professional skateboarders Natas Kaupas and Mark Gonzales.

Tropical Depression Fern just offshore the Louisiana coast on September 6, 1971 At the time of its formation, forecasters determined that Fern might loop around in the Gulf of Mexico and it was more threatening to land than Hurricane Edith which was also projected to hit the Gulf Coast. On September 9, as Fern was becoming organized, forecasters issued a hurricane watch along the Texas coast, anticipating that Fern might strengthen into a hurricane. In addition, small boats were warned to stay in port and residents were advised to be aware of storm conditions brought by Fern. The next day, the hurricane watches were changed to warnings, forcing residents living on the Texas coast to board up and evacuate.

Turquoise Hill Resources also owns 14% of Entree Gold, a company with interests in copper and gold projects in southern Mongolia and Arizona, and 14% of Exco Resources which operates Cloncurry's copper project and the White Dam gold mine in Australia. The company's largest shareholder is Rio Tinto, with a stake of 50.8%. This is up from 46.5% beforehand. In June 2011 Rio Tinto paid $502 million for 55 million additional shares, increasing its control to 46.5% from 42% (35% prior to that) and giving it an extra seat on the board (up to 7/14), though Rio Tinto was restricted from increasing its stake in the company to a majority before 2012.

The venue's management wrongly believed they had sealed a deal to extend their contract by three months and were therefore surprised on 16 June 2016 to see bailiffs arriving to change the locks. Tropical Storm Jimena passing south of Hawaii on radar imagery Forecasters at the Central Pacific Hurricane Center began issuing a Hurricane Watch for the Big Island of Hawaii on August 31 at 0000 UTC; the following day the Central Pacific Hurricane Center (CPHC) issued a tropical storm warning at 0300 UTC and a flash flood watch. The watches and warnings prompted residents to board up windows and stock up on emergency supplies. The storm's approach also closed down beaches and prompted officials to cancel outdoor activates as a precaution and the American Red Cross opened shelters and provided emergency services. The preparations for Hurricane Jimena cost the American Red Cross $5,000 (2003 USD).

The rider uses the same pressure that would be applied if he/she is attempting to adopt a "primo" position (when the board is positioned on its side/edge); however, one foot is placed under the board so that the board is not completely in a "dark" position (when the board is upside down, with the griptape facing the ground). The other foot is then placed on the tail of the board when the board is upside down—the foot beneath the board is then used to scoop the board up, and then around. The rider then jumps onto the board to land in the starting position. Mullen invented the Casper 360 flip in 1983.

A state of emergency was declared in Coatesville following the arson on January 24, 2009. The declaration gave the city powers to board up buildings, assign police officers to protect structures, provide help to affected families and remove items they deem dangerous from properties and to immediately purchase safety equipment without budgetary concerns. In addition to increasing city police patrols, a Chester County Arson Task Force consisting of local, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies was created to investigate the arsons. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives joined the investigation, and Governor Ed Rendell dispatched Frank Pawlowski, commissioner of the Pennsylvania State Police, to Coatesville specifically to assist with the arson investigations.

As the raid lifted, West Point sent two medical officers and 11 corpsmen on board Wakefield, at the latter's request, to render medical assistance. Later that morning, Captain Kelley attended a conference with British authorities, who informed him that his ship was to be used to carry a contingent of Australian troops from Suez to Singapore and to transport refugees and evacuees to Ceylon. With the emergency "acute", Kelley agreed to take on board up to one thousand women and children and such additional men as the British desired to send. With the abandonment of the naval dockyard, untenable in the face of increasingly heavier Japanese bombardments from artillery and aircraft, several dockyard naval and civilian personnel and their families were assigned to West Point for evacuation.

A trick in which the skateboard is used like a pogo stick. The board is held vertical against the boarder's legs, with one foot on the bottom truck and one or both hands holding the nose to lift the board up as the rider hops. It can also be done by squeezing the board between both legs in a no-handed variant, or stood with one foot on the truck and the other crossed over behind it with the toes of that foot pushing against the griptape for a cross-footed pogo. A Switchfoot Pogo is performed by alternating the foot on the truck with each of a series of continuous Pogo hops, so that it looks like the skater is walking on the truck.

This board also has the SCSI controller and an NEC V20 processor, and additionally a 32k EPROM chip. Examining the ROM chip at the Reset vector shows a JMP instruction outside the memory mapped location of the chip. All known Emulator SE's also have a position on this board where a Standard SNES-RF Encoding Unit could be mounted, to provide an external RF port (identical to that of the Super NES) just above the "Multi-Out" port, however no known specimens have this port installed. This board also includes a connector for a standard Super NES APU module, which is connected by wires to the next board up, which is the board which contains the MIDI and RCA connector.

To do the trick, the rider must plant his or her front foot and pop the board with only their back foot. The trick is usually done on flat ground.Mastering Skateboarding by Per Welinder & Pete Whitley (Human Kinetics 1, 2011)Skateboarding Step-By-Step by Charlotte Stock & Ben Powell (Rosen Publishing Group, 2009) The no comply was originally introduced in Thrasher magazine in 1988 as a curb or parking block trick where the front foot is planted first on the curb and the back foot "bonks" the back truck off the curb/parking block, bouncing the board up and off-landing back on riding away. There are many variations of the no comply, probably the most common being the Frontside 180 variation.

The way in which the Yeoman plotter combines speedy GPS position fixing with a paper chart is cited as a benefit for two principal reasons. The first is one of safety and reliability - even the best marine electronics fail from time to time, and if the boat's electronic instruments should cease to work then a recent pencil plot on a paper chart becomes extremely valuable. Because such a fix can be made on a Yeoman in around two seconds, it is likely to be updated far more frequently. The fact that the correct chart is guaranteed to be on board, up to date, and open on the chart table ready for reversion to traditional navigation is also an aspect to consider as video chart plotters become more widely used.

In 1971, the Authority heard complaints from the tenant at 99 George Street about water seeping from 101 George Street into her basement. Water was found to be standing deep in the cellar of the Phillip's Foote building. Shortly thereafter, the City Health Department ordered that the "accumulation of miscellaneous rubbish, including scrap wood, scrap iron, papers, empty bottles, tins and vegetative matter which is likely to afford harbourage for vermin" be removed from the premises. The Authority hired a contractor to carry out the order, clean the interior of the building generally, remove the existing cast iron fireplaces for storage at the Authority's offices, board up all entrances, and to demolish the timber and corrugated iron shed abutting the northern brick wall of the yard and the timber frame in the southeast corner of the yard.

Millis played a role in keeping the "first" NLRB independent. The NRLB's chairman, 36-year-old Lloyd K. In 1991, Dr. Hawrylyshyn created and became the head of the Council of Advisors to the Presidium of the Ukrainian Parliament that worked for seven years, was a member of the American-Ukrainian advisory board, an advisor to the first president of Ukraine, four chairmen of the Verkhovna Rada and three prime-ministers. Until his death he was a board member of the World Academy of Art and Science, the head of the National Organization of Scouts of Ukraine, a member of the executive committee of the Swiss International Policy Forum, the head of Supervisory Board of MIM-Kyiv. He also facilitated the establishment of the International Centre for Policy Studies and remained the head of its Supervisory Board up to 2006. In Ukraine the fruitful activities of Dr. Hawrylyshyn are highly appreciated by a broad community of education, science and state officials.

Following a National Housing Conference in 1973, a group of Chicago community organizations led by The Northwest Community Organization (NCO) formed National People's Action (NPA), to broaden the fight against disinvestment and mortgage redlining in neighborhoods all over the country. This organization, led by Chicago housewife Gale Cincotta and Shel Trapp, a professional community organizer, targeted The Federal Home Loan Bank Board, the governing authority over federally chartered Savings & Loan institutions (S&L;) that held at that time the bulk of the country's home mortgages. NPA embarked on an effort to build a national coalition of urban community organizations to pass a national disclosure regulation or law to require banks to reveal their lending patterns.
