"[Blackhead placement] is such a fundamental thing, and it is so key to the exams as to what I'm looking for and what the underlying issue is," says dermatologist Dennis Gross, MD. According to Dr. Gross, there are six main locations of blackheads: jawline, T-zone, forehead, undereye area, mouth, and covering the entire face.
