The state now spends (2007–2008) Rs 2,222.08 crore on roads, compared with Rs 51.2 crore between 2003 and 2004. In September 2008, $420 million (USD) loan from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) was provided to the government to improve nine state highways.

This work provided direct access to bus platforms and a new streetcar platform, improving traffic control within the station. Victoria Park's modernization project was completed between 2008 and 2011 to make the station more functional, attractive, better connected to the surrounding community, and fully accessible. The second exit program was also included in station modernization projects after a fire safety audit revealed several at-risk stations with only one means of access and egress from the subway platform level to the street. Some stations with only one entrance/exit received a second means of access/egress during major overhauls at stations such as Pape and Dufferin.

Peterman became the second Democrat to file to run for State House District 55 for the 2000 election, against Ernest Williams and incumbent Republican Representative Rudy Bradley. The trip between Paris and Bordeaux takes around two hours and ten minutes at a top speed of 320 km/h. The inter-city links between Tours, Poitiers, Angoulême, and Bordeaux are also improved, and southwestern France is better connected to various parts of the country and to the rest of Europe. Trains on this line depart Paris at Gare Montparnasse The project is also a response to the heavy traffic on the existing rail line.

Further down Park Place is the New Theatre, a local landmark is Principality House, head office of the Principality Building Society. Many banks of Upper Canada failed during 1869, which halted any sort of trading in the city as the market was just too small. The elder Lord Cobham even had a strong negative impact upon the lives of Shakespeare and his contemporaries in the theater.

The British American Drama Academy (BADA) was founded in 1983 by Tony Branch and Carolyn Sands based upon an idea they developed whilst living in La Jolla, California in 1982. Upon moving to Sakata, Yamagata to teach as a part of the JET Programme in 2012, Broad decided to vlog about some of his experiences as a foreigner living in the rural Tōhoku region..
