Each router looks in a routing table to determine the next hop of each packet, analyzes its header, parses the destination field basing on the following jump of every destination and copies the packets as many different paths as they need to follow. After that, the router copies the packet with its correct Xcast header to every following jump.
1460s (Pavia) The picture, housed in the Town Museum of Pavia Lombardy, northern Italy, is signed according to the Flemish habit, by directly engraving the painter's name on the parapet in the lower foreground (instead of using a false glued panel), like the Madrid portrait. Despite the sign, the strict nearness to the Flemish portrait art and the poor state of preservation have pushed some scholars to doubt about the attribution to Antonello. The work has been dated to the 1460s basing on the fashion of the subject's dress and headgear.
The painting portrays an unknown, aged Italian condottiero's bust, seen from three-quarters above a dark background. The basic influence is still that of Antonello da Messina. The subject was once identified as Jacopo Marcello, capitano general of the Republic of Venice, which led to an early dating around 1482-1485; Bellini had executed a portrait for Marcello in his family house. Other identifications include Bartolomeo d'Alviano (basing on a statement by later Renaissance art historian Giorgio Vasari) and Giovanni Emo, implying that it could have been executed around in 1475–1500.
IBM originally intended to deliver the Workplace Shell as part of the OfficeVision/2 LAN product, but in 1991 announced plans to release it as part of OS/2 2.0 instead. The OS/2 Warp 4 desktop Although mostly written in C, under the covers the Workplace Shell is implemented as an object-oriented class library, basing on the System Object Model (SOM). The WPS classes are glued together with an interface definition language (IDL). SOM and its IDL was developed by IBM in their Austin, Texas lab.
After the fall of the Soviet Union, some historians began questioning the official version of Rudniev's life and death. Basing on disclosed Soviet archives, some researchers alleged that Rudniev was not committed to strategy and approaches (especially regarding civilians) dictated by the Moscow-based Ukrainian Partisan Movement Headquarters ()). This supposedly caused Rudniev's conflicts with both Sydir Kovpak and high-ranked NKVD agent Ivan Siromolotnyi (the latter was interacting with Kovpak and Rudniev from Moscow over the radio). According to these researchers, Rudniev was attempting to collaborate with Ukrainian People's Army forces.
The 216th Division () was created in November 1949 under the Regulation of the Redesignations of All Organizations and Units of the Army, issued by Central Military Commission on November 1, 1948, basing on the 3rd Division, 1st Corps, 1st Army Group of the People's Liberation Army of the Nationalist Party of China. Its history can be traced to the 307th Division, 100th Corps, 1st Army Group of Republic of China Army defected in August 1948. The division is part of 52nd Corps. Under the flag of 216th division it took part in the Chinese Civil War.
In 2010, a genetic study was made basing on the evolutionary history of common elands. Located in the sub-Saharan savanna biome of east and southern Africa, the study used methods like analysis of mitochondrial DNA control-region fragments from 122 individuals to learn more about various topics, such as the phylogeography, genetic diversity, demographic history of the species. The conclusions strongly supported the presence of a longer-standing population in the south and a mosaic of Pleistocene refugia in the east. It is believed that today their extinction from these parts could be due to colonization.
Mieterverband as the today's tenant association was established in 1915, as stuffy and crowded housing, hygiene issues and the fight against diseases in the tenements in Basel and Zürich that was then to compare with present days slums, thus the policy measures forced to become mandatory, basing on the cantonal associations that were established before in Basel and Zürich. First formulated objectives were the demands to improve the hygiene significantly. In the early years, these claims were made using a distinct class struggle against the 'class of landlords', but in the following decades political means were postulated much more moderate.
If lattices are incommensurable, friction was not observed, however, if the surfaces are commensurable, friction force is present. At the atomic level, these tribological properties are directly connected with superlubricity. An example of this is given by solid lubricants, such as graphite, MoS2 and Ti3SiC2: this can be explained with the low resistance to shear between layers due to the stratified structure of these solids. Even if at the macroscopic scale friction involves multiple microcontacts with different size and orientation, basing on these experiments one can speculate that a large fraction of contacts will be in superlubric regime.
Nikolay Baskakov, basing on a famous 12th century scripture named Codex Cimanicus, included modern Kumyk, Karachai-Balkar, Crimean Tatar, Karaim, and the language of Mamluk Kipchaks in lingual family of the Cuman- Kipchak language. Samoylovich also considered Cuman-Kipchak close to Kumyk and Karachai-Balkar. Kumyk had been a lingua-franca of the bigger part of the Northern Caucasus, from Dagestan to Kabarda, until the 1930s. In 1848, a professor of the "Caucasian Tatar" (Kumyk) Timofey Makarov published the first ever grammatical book in Russian language for one of the Northern Caucasian languages - which was international Kumyk.
Of uncertain historical origins, Polistena territory was inhabited since prehistoric times. From the remains found, it appears to be the territory of transit of the Locresi during their ancestral migration. A village with the modern name is mentioned for the first time in the 13th century AD. In 1783 Polistena was devastated by a violent earthquake, that razed to the ground most of the city and killed more than 2,000 people. The city was rebuilt quickly, basing on a design by Neapolitan architect Pompeo Schiantarelli, creating an urban center in the upper part of the city.
In the little written literature, almost totally poetry, bloomed in the 1970s basing on Brianzöö and Milanese literatures (born in the 13th century), it is used a simple orthography, adherent to the pronunciation and based on Italian and Milanese ones, using diaeresis, letter j for semivocalic i, not applying the circumflex accent but the redoubling of long vowels, or the redoubling of consonant for short vowels. The wide oral literature is composed by proverbs, poems, legends, prayers, that have histories of several centuries. An important role of Canzés and other local languages is in toponyms, often derived from Celtic words, and traditional gentilics.
Based on simulations, the high speed of the tip of the whip has been proposed to be a result of a "chain reaction of levers and blocks".Creating speed Oct 2016 In 1997, Discover Magazine reported about the possibility of the "whipcracking" effect millions of years ago. As part of the joint computer scientists' and paleontologists' research into the motion of dinosaurs, Nathan Myhrvold, a chief technology officer from Microsoft, carried out a computer simulation of an apatosaurus, which had a very long, tapering tail resembling a whip. Basing on the reasoning described above, Myhrvold concluded that sauropods were capable of producing a crack comparable to the sound of a cannon.
Relations between Russia and NATO soured in summer 2008 due to Russia's war with Georgia. Later the North Atlantic Council condemned Russia for recognizing the South Ossetia and Abkhazia regions of Georgia as independent states. The Secretary General of NATO claimed that Russia's recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia violated numerous UN Security Council resolutions, including resolutions endorsed by Russia. Russia, in turn, insisted the recognition was taken basing on the situation on the ground, and was in line with the UN Charter, the CSCE Helsinki Final Act of 1975 and other fundamental international law; Russian media heavily stressed the precedent of the recent Kosovo declaration of independence.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (Abbreviation: HCMUTE, Vietnamese: Trường Đại học Sư phạm Kỹ thuật Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh) is currently listed as one of the top 10 universities in Vietnam and also a member in the top group of Southeast Asia universities (basing on standard evaluation index). This is a public university located in Thu Duc District, about 10 km north-east from downtown Ho Chi Minh City. This university offers bachelor's and associate degree to prospective lecturers in other technical institutions. The university also conducts technical research and vocational training, in addition to educational cooperation with foreign universities.
It turned into series of music and literature works too. The first novel Élisabeth ou les Exilés de Sibérie (in the English variant – The Exiles of Siberia, 1806) about Praskovia’s fate was written by Sophie Ristaud Cottin. Later on, Xavier de Maistre creates his novel La Jeune Sibérienne, (in the English variant - The Young Siberian, 1815). Then, basing on the novel by Cottin, the Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti creates the lyrical drama Otto mesi in due ore o Gli esiliati in Siberia (in the English variant - Eight months in two hours, 1827). After the Praskovia’s burial there, the monastery subsequently became a familiar place for tourism and pilgrimage.
Even the empress visited the monastery on September 24, 1817. Despite of the fact that the particular location of her grave in the monastery is unknown, a headstone was established in the main church’s vaults in the beginning of the 20th century, reportedly - basing on oral stories. In addition, a large portrait styled of something between an icon and a secular portrait was painted on the wall near the headstone. Nevertheless, it was rather a symbolical burial place, as Koupriyanov, the teacher in a local gymnasium, wrote about Praskovia to be buried somewhere inside the monaster’s wall "by a special order of the highest executives".
First the ruling class was removed, and the Belarusian Greek Catholic Church, at the Synod of Polotsk reverted to Eastern Orthodoxy under the leadership of Joseph Semashko in 1839. The Belarusian literary tradition began to re-form, basing on the folk language instead of the written Ruthenian, initiated by the works of Vintsent Dunin-Martsinkyevich, Jan Czeczot, Jan Barszczewski and others.
The commission decision may be appealed before the Cassation Court. The law was effected a short time before the elections, and many candidates were prevented from standing, simply because the verification stages could not be carried out on time. The affected politicians claimed that it was intended to strengthen the hold of Sali Berisha on power.OMRI Daily Digest II, Open Media Research Institute, No. 186, 25 September 1995"Freedom of Religion and Belief: a World Report", edited by Kevin Boyle and Juliet Sheen, , 1997, p. 263 An attempt to repeal the law basing on its alleged unconstitutionality was rejected by the constitutional court on January 31, 1996.
The coat of arms of the town of Biaroza in Brest Region, Belarus, in its current version was officially adopted in 2008Указ Президента Республики Беларусь от 2 декабря 2008 г. №659 "Об учреждении официальных геральдических символов административно-территориальных и территориальных единиц Брестской области" [Decree by the President of the Republic of Belarus from 2 December 2008 No 659 “On the establishment of official heraldic symbols of administrative territorial units of the Brest Region”] (in Russian) basing on an earlier version developed in the 1990s. Unlike many other towns and cities in Belarus, historically Biaroza had no Magdeburg rights and therefore no coat of arms before the late 20th century.
Since 1677, the coat of arms of Polish Livonia (the Inflanty Voivodeship, roughly corresponding to today's Latgale) included a ducal crown. After the incorporation of Estonia and Livonia into the Russian Empire in 1710, the Russian Governorate of Riga and later the Governorate of Livonia have been granted coats of arms basing on the historical coat of arms of Livonia. After the establishment of the independent Latvian state, the symbol of Livonia, representing the Latvian regions Vidzeme and Latgalia, became part of the newly created Coat of arms of Latvia. The white griffin representing Livonia became an element of the shield and one of the supporters.
Basing on the Jucker family's tradition to operate their farm in Seegräben on Pfäffikersee shore and their mother's small estate in Rafz, the brothers Beat Jucker and Martin Jucker established in 2000 the Farmart AG (Aktiengesellschaft), which was renamed in 2013 as Jucker Farm AG. As of November 2014, the company owns three farms, including affiliated companies and Jucker Farmart Expo GmbH (Germany) that organizes, among others in the Europapark Rust, pumpkin events in southern Germany. Jucker Farm employs around 150 employees in its operations, i.e. in the three farms and associated farm shops, and two restaurants, that have, depending on weather, between 100 and 8,000 visitors daily.
Plan of Taganrog's haven, 1704. The project for planning and building works in the city was established in 1698 by Austrian engineer Baron Ernst Friedrich von Borgsdorf, basing on the instructions provided by Peter the Great. Taganrog is one of the first Russian cities, which was built according to a detailed pre-established plan. It was also the first artificial haven, and the first fortress made of earth as primary material. The construction was generally completed by 1709. The Saint Trinity fortress was situated on the horn-shaped territory of the cape, earth mounds around 8 metres high, a 5-metre-deep moat that stretched for about 2 miles.
He proceeds by saying that the Israeli claims were unfounded, basing on an interview with an individual named Aryeh Eilan, who is described as an official in the Israeli Ministry of Exterior: : "If Jordanian complicity is a lie, we have to keep lying. If there is no proofs, we have to fabricate them" (Israel's Border Wars p.67, Benny Morris) Glubb Pasha, the British officer who commanded the Jordan Arab Legion at the time, wrote that : "the Arab Legion was doing its level best to maintain a peaceful border with Israel". (A Soldier with the Arabs 1957, Glubb and Violence of the Jordan-Israel Border: A Jordanian View, Foreign Affairs, 32, no.
Hermans’s, basing on ideas of M.M. Bakhtin, W. James, purpose is to contribute to research and development of dialogical relationships, not only between individuals, groups, and cultures, but also between different I-positions within the dialogical self of the individual person. He does so in the conviction that dialogical relationships between individuals, groups, and cultures cannot exist in separation of productive dialogical relationships which individuals develop with themselves. On the basis of this purpose, bi- annual International Conferences on the Dialogical Self are organized: in Nijmegen (2000), Ghent, Belgium (2004); Warsaw, Poland (2004), Braga, Portugal (2006), Cambridge, United Kingdom (2008), Athens, Greece (2010), Athens, Georgia, USA (2012), and The Hague, The Netherlands (2014).
Tarquinii (Etruscan Tarch(u)naThe Etruscan Language: An Introduction, Giuliano Bonfante, Larissa Bonfante, 2002 ) was one of the most ancient and important Etruscan cities; the ancient myths connected with Tarchuna (those of its eponymous founder Tarchon—the son or brother of Tyrrhenus—and of the infant oracle Tages, who gave the Etruscans the "disciplina etrusca"), all point to the antiquity and cultural importance of the city. Basing on archaeological finds, Tarchuna eclipsed its neighbours well before the advent of written records. It is said to have been already a flourishing city when Demaratus of Corinth brought in Greek workmen. Descendants of Demaratus, Lucius Tarquinius Priscus and Lucius Tarquinius Superbus, became kings of ancient Rome.
The explosion of the sinking charge lifted Argonne bodily "several inches", and jarred two additional charges loose from SC-702's track—which, fortunately, did not explode. Damage to Argonne was confined mostly to the forward portion of the ship, in the print shop, radio- repair shop, and galleys and pantries, as loose gear came crashing to the deck. After again repairing her own damage, the ship resumed her important service to the fleet, and remained in the Palaus until she sailed for the Philippines on 11 February 1945 to take up support operations for the Okinawa campaign, basing on Leyte. Arriving at her new base of operations on 15 February, Argonne operated out of Leyte into June.
It started dishing out portions like "Palarong Pambakla", "Pok Gi Pok" and "Binibining Bonggay" that generated a lot of controversy among the conservative groups in Western Visayas. Despite the criticism, "Bongga" got high ratings basing on these segments alone and it helped them overcome the more established "Barkadahan sa S na S" of ABS-CBN TV 4 Bacolod. Soon after, "Bongga" began touring other places and campuses in the Philippines, conquering places like Cebu, Boracay, Sagay City, Guimbal, Miag-ao, Dumaguete, Davao and Baguio. "Bongga!" also marks the distinction as the only musical variety show that aired live from a prison building, when they held a show at the Iloilo Rehabilitation Center in 2002.
Later she was CEO and a co-founder of Sabio Labs (2004-2007), which was acquired by Magma Design Automation, and eventually, Mar Hershenson became Vice President of Product Development in the Custom Design Business Unit at Magma. (2008-2010) From 2002-2011 she was consulting assistant professor in electrical engineering at Stanford. Since 2013 she is Founding Managing Partner at Pear VC (founded as Pejman Mar) and represents Pear on the Board of Directors of Solvvy, a startup developer of a customer support platform designed to answer incoming customer questions basing on machine learning."Solvvy" She was described as "one of the leading women in venture capital in the Bay Area".
There is an important shortcoming for DLTS: it cannot be used for insulating materials. (Note: an insulator can be considered as a very large bandgap semiconductor.) For insulating materials it is difficult or impossible to produce a device having a space region for which width could be changed by the external voltage bias and thus the capacitance measurement-based DLTS methods cannot be applied for the defect analysis. Basing on experiences of the thermally stimulated current (TSC) spectroscopy, the current transients are analyzed with the DLTS methods (I-DLTS), where the light pulses are used for the defect occupancy disturbance. This method in the literature is sometimes called the Photoinduced Transient Spectroscopy (PITS).
The Miss Uganda pageant started in 1967, with the winner always participating at the Miss World pageant, though having only one Miss Uganda reaching the finals since its inception. The Ministry of Agriculture directs the Miss Uganda with the stated purpose of increasing the interest of young people in agriculture. In 2014, Salim Saleh publicly announced collaboration between the Miss Uganda Foundation, the organizers of the annual contest, and the Wealth Creation program that Saleh heads. "We are almost signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Miss Uganda Foundation because we want to choose the next Miss Uganda basing on agriculture and this is intended to interest the young people into the sector," Saleh said.
Späth Orgelbau, Giessi in Rapperswil Gerold Späth's three central works are thematically connected: "Unschlecht" (1970), "Balzapf oder als ich auftauchte" (1977) and "Barbarswila" (1988), in which Rapperswil gave model to the fictitious localities Spiessbünzen, Molchgüllen and Barbarswila, the satirical depictions of a typical Swiss small-town. A new narrative form was introduced with Commedia (1980), in a certain way basing on Dante's Inferno, for which Späth was awarded with the German book prize Alfred-Döblin-Preis. Späth's literally cosmos is characterized by love, lust and vices, and a propensity to the blazing sensuality and baroque awareness of the transience of everything earthly. He dominates all the stops by the comical and humorous to the tragic.
In 1903, the predecessor of ABP, ASEA (Allmanna Svenska Elektriska Aktiebolaget) in Sweden built the first induction channel furnace for foundry operations. Basing on the principle that the energy required for the melting process is induced directly into the charge by electromagnetic coils, ASEA managed to create a new technology that is fundamentally more efficient and precise. In order to expend the know-how of the company and to consolidate its market position, ASEA decided to merge in 1988 with Brown Boveri from Switzerland and to form ABB (Asea Brown Boveri). The new firm added sophisticated control, automation and information technology to the products, and supplemented them with consulting, planning, start-up and training services.
The dishes for the imperial courthouses were different from the ones found in high-class localities, markets, in the temples and those found in common folk households. With the fall of the Southern Song Dynasty around 1170 – 1180 AD, there was a decline in the quality and nature of the Henan cuisine. It was evident that the imperial stronghold was significant for the Henan Cuisine to survive and without the strength of the dynasty, the hierarchical structure for Henan cuisine started to break down. Later, basing on the original Henan Culinary style followed in the imperial courts, high class families, markets, temples and households, a mixed blend of contemporary Henan Cuisine was developed.
This graph invariant was introduced by Haruo Hosoya in 1971.. It is often used in chemoinformatics for investigations of organic compounds..Internet Electronic Journal of Molecular Design, special issues dedicated to Professor Haruo Hosoya on the occasion of the 65th birthday: Volume 1 (2002), Number 9 — Volume 2 (2003), Number 6. In his article, "The Topological Index Z Before and After 1971," on the history of the notion and the associated inside stories, Hosoya writes that he introduced the Z index to report a good correlation of the boiling points of alkane isomers and their Z indices, basing on his unpublished 1957 work carried out while he was an undergraduate student at the University of Tokyo.
Seeing merits of such vehicles, after the war, Russia decided to develop two similar vehicles, using domestic automotive parts, the BAV, an equivalent of the DUKW, and the MAV, an equivalent of the Ford GPA. Due to bad reception of the Ford GPA 'Seep' by Allied soldiers, most of them were routed to Russia under the US Lend-Lease program, before production was halted prematurely in 1943. The research institute NAMI developed a prototype NAMI-011, basing on GAZ-67B parts, in 1949. The authorities decided, that it should be manufactured in GAZ works, as GAZ-011, but the factory was reluctant, because a design needed much perfecting, while the GAZ-67B was obsolete and due to be replaced with GAZ-69.
Wüppesahl was a founder of a pressure group against Krümmel Nuclear Power Plant in Geesthacht 1975. In 1987 he became a member of the Bundestag in the Green Party faction. After leaving the party, he continued his mandate as an independent member of the parliament. To establish his rights for working as a factionless member Wüppesahl launched and won a lawsuit basing on German constitution on the Federal Constitutional Court of Germany.Wüppesahl Urteil, June 13, 1989, 2 BvE 1/88, BVerfGE 80, 188 (online) Wüppesahl was member of the Bundestag until the end of the 11th period in 1990. In 1990 he criticized the procedure of the German reunification gave no participation in the process to the population in Eastern Germany.
The question of what form alien languages might take and the possibility for humans to recognize and translate them has been part of the linguistics and language studies courses, e.g., at the Bowling Green State University (2001).Course notes by assistant professor Sheri Wells-Jensen, Bowling Green State University (retrieved June 19, 2017) Noam Chomsky (1983), basing on his theory of the existence of a genetically-predetermined universal grammar of human languages, holds that it would be impossible for a human to naturally learn an alien language because it would most probably violate the universal grammar inborn in humans. Humans would have to study an alien language by the slow way of discovery, the same way as scientists do research in, say, physics.

Archaeobotany is arguably now a mature discipline, but one that is facing challenges relating to data and communication.
It has also been criticized as immoral on the grounds of its degree of arbitrariness, and its supposed negative effect on small shops. The Secretary of Economics and Commerce of the Hong Kong Government Edward Yau has spoken on the media against this segregation of businesses basing on political inclination. Popular political commentator To Kit opined it is just a normal development of the democratic movement, and questioned why the government has never said a word on communist party and the governments boycotting against the Apple Daily newspaper since 1997. Simon Shen, a political scientist, suggested that the Economic Circle could be an example of "identity economy" and predicted that the businesses involved could enjoy a "potential market worth of more than HK$100 billion".
It is mentioned in a 1686 inventory of the collections of the Royal Alcazar of Madrid, as the wife of the count of San Sigundo. The subject has been identified with Camilla Gonzaga, wife of imperial general Pier Maria III de' Rossi basing on this note, and by another from 1630 by one of his descendants about the existence of a portrait of him by Parmigianino. The painting arrived in Spain in 1664, after King Philip IV had supported to the Rossi family in a dispute with the Farnese of Parma about some territories. It has been dated from around 1539–1540, but the attribution to Parmigianino is controversial, the author having been identified also as an artist from Bronzino's workshop.
The court officials of the Kingdom of Georgia, were in charge of the royal court, that is to say, in the royal Palace, where the central institutions of the united Georgian Monarchy were concentrated, there were many services, subordinated to the most important officials of the Palace. Basing on such kind of services, the heads of the offices (so called Ukhutsesi) managed their fields. The middle and low officials of the services had to fulfill their duties in the various institutions of the Palace since these institutions were not clearly marked off according their fields and functions inside the Palace; they were not demarcated even physically. This was a place, where the officials of the king's domain, state and public services met.
Bolokhovians, Bolokhoveni, also Bolokhovens (; Old Slavic: Болоховци, Bolokhovtsy), were a 13th-century ethnic group that resided in the vicinity of the Rus' principalities of Halych, Volhynia and Kiev, in the territory known as the "Bolokhovian land" centered at the city of Bolokhov or Bolokhovo (not identified yet). Their ethnic identity is uncertain; although Romanian scholars, basing on their ethnonym identify them as Romanians (who were called Vlachs in the Middle Ages), archeological evidence and the Hypatian Chronicle (which is the only primary source that documents their history) suggest that they were a Slavic people. Their princes, or knyazes, were in constant conflict with Daniel of Galicia, Prince of Halych and Volhynia, between 1231 and 1257. After the Mongols sacked Kiev in 1240, the Bolokhovians supplied them with troops, but the Bolokhovian princes fled to Poland.

In the early 13th century, the Brodniks, a possible Slavic- Vlach vassal state of Halych, were present, alongside the Vlachs, in much of the region's territory (towards 1216, the Brodniks are mentioned as in service of Suzdal).
According to historian Michael Ellman, "The 'national operations' of 1937–38, notably the 'Polish operation', may qualify as genocide as defined by the UN Convention, although there is as yet no legal ruling on the matter".Michael Ellman, Stalin and the Soviet Famine of 1932-33 Revisited PDF file Karol Karski argues that the Soviet actions against Poles are genocide according to international law. He says that while the extermination was targeting other nationalities as well and according to the criteria other than ethnicity, but as long as Poles were singled out basing on their ethnicity, that makes the actions to be genocide. The Crime of Genocide Committed against the Poles by the USSR before and during World War II:An International Legal Study by Karol Karski, Cas eWestern Reserve Journal of International Law, Vol.
The Basingas were an Anglo-Saxon tribe, whose territory in the Loddon Valley formed a regio or administrative subdivision of the early Kingdom of Wessex. Their leader, Basa, gave the tribe its name which survives in the names of Old Basing and Basingstoke, both in Hampshire. (The existence of both the tribe and their leader must be assumed to have been inferred from the existence of the place name "Basingstoke" as there is no independent documentary evidence referring to them.) Old Basing was first settled around 700 by an Anglo-Saxon tribe known as the Basingas, who give the village its name (the meaning is "Basa's people"). It was the site of the Battle of Basing on 22 January 871, when a Danish army defeated Ethelred of Wessex.

The painting arrived in Spain in 1664, after King Philip IV had supported the Rossi family in a dispute with the Farnese of Parma about some territories. It has been dated from around 1535 to 1539, based on the age of Pier Maria (born in 1508) in the portrait, and a statement by Parmigianino's contemporary, the art historian Giorgio Vasari, that the artist took refuge at Pier Maria's court in the period in question.
Prof. Kurt Eisemann of San Diego State University in his letter to the Communications of the ACM further improves the latter seemingly unbeatable estimate. He begins with an observation that for practical applications the value of the "hidden constant" c in the Big Oh notation may be crucial in making the difference between the feasibility and unfeasibility: for example a constant value of 1080 would exceed the capacity of any known device. He further notices that a technique has already been known in Mediaeval Europe whereby textual content of an arbitrary tune can be recorded basing on the recurrence relation S_k = C_2S_{k-1}, where C_2 = 'la', yielding the value of the big-Oh constant c equal to 2. However it turns out that another culture achieved the absolute lower bound of O(0).
It was estimated, that they fit better as cavalry reconnaissance vehicles, than newly acquired wz.28 halftrack armoured cars. As a result, the Polish authorities decided to buy a licence for manufacturing Carden-Loyd Mk.VI.However, instead of producing Carden-Loyd Mk.VI, the Polish authorities decided to work an own, improved model, only generally basing on Carden-Loyd's composition which came to be known as the light reconnaissance tank TK-3 (also known simply as the TK) and a total of 300 TK-3 tankettes were built. At the end of the 1920s, the Polish Armed Forces felt that they also needed a new tank model. The Military Institute of Engineering Research (Wojskowy Instytut Badań Inżynierii, WIBI) sent Captain Ruciński to the United States to legally acquire a Christie M1928 tank, its blueprint and license.
Contemporary European sources give little detail of the battle, only that it occurred, and the Bavarian army was annihilated, but they are silent about the sequence of events, the fights, and the skirmishes that led to the battle's conclusion. The Bavarian Renaissance humanist, historian and philologist Johannes Aventinus (1477–1534), 600 years after the events, in his work Annals of the Bavarians (Annalium Boiorum, volume VII), basing on documents and chronicles from the 10th century which no longer survive, wrote a fairly detailed description of the battle. Since the Hungarians knew about the attack well before the German army advanced, they probably evacuated all the inhabitants from the march areas, called gyepű in Hungarian, between the rivers Enns and Pressburg to the east. As the Hungarians were still nomadic, it was much easier to accomplish this than for a settled society.
Wave scattering corresponds to the collision and scattering of a wave with some material object, for instance sunlight scattered by rain drops to form a rainbow. Scattering also includes the interaction of billiard balls on a table, the Rutherford scattering (or angle change) of alpha particles by gold nuclei, the Bragg scattering (or diffraction) of electrons and X-rays by a cluster of atoms, and the inelastic scattering of a fission fragment as it traverses a thin foil. More precisely, scattering consists of the study of how solutions of partial differential equations, propagating freely "in the distant past", come together and interact with one another or with a boundary condition, and then propagate away "to the distant future". The direct scattering problem is the problem of determining the distribution of scattered radiation/particle flux basing on the characteristics of the scatterer.
As many other MTV programmes in the nineties, Hitlist UK is a music video programme, basing on the current top 40 of the UK chart. Due to the limited format, just the new entries and climbers would be shown, combined with some records of the top ten and the number one, provided there was a music video available. For positions 40 to 21, 20 to 11 and 10 to 2 a rundown would be included, consisting of short extracts from all songs (if no video was available, the cd cover would be seen instead; in the rare case MTV had neither a video nor a cd cover, a "video not available" sign would be shown, combined with a kind of "no signal" TV noise). Sometimes, a video would not be shown although it had actually climbed the chart.
It has been supposed that Perugino provided at least the layout of the fresco, while its realization, basing on a comment by Giorgio Vasari, had been assigned traditionally to Signorelli. Studies by art historians such as Mario Salmi, reduced Signorelli's presence in the work, and attributed most of the painting to Bartolomeo della Gatta, a painter influenced by the purity of Piero della Francesca and the early Perugino. The theme of the decoration was a parallel between the Stories of Moses and those of Christ, as a sign of continuity between the Old and the New Testament. A continuity also between the divine law of the Tables and the message of Jesus, who, in turn, chose Peter (the first alleged bishop of Rome) as his successor: this would finally result in a legitimation of the latter's successors, the popes of Rome.
The Moto Guzzi Alce was born in 1939 to replace the Moto Guzzi GT 20, in turn derived in 1938 by Moto Guzzi GT 17 . Acquired also the Militia of the Road and the Police of Italian Africa, was extensively used by the Royal Army during Second World War on all fronts in three versions Monoposto (single-place), Biposto (two-place) and Attrezzata (sidecar combination). Built in 1940, the TriAlce was a three-wheeler (or "motocarrello") military variant basing on mechanical components of the Alce, produced between 1940 and 1943 in 1741 copies. Along with the Benelli 500 M36 Mototriciclo, belonged to the category of "unified Tricar 500"; Indeed, the DM of August 9, 1941 required the standardization of "motorcycles, sidecars and motofurgoncini" to precise parameters, with a view to their seizure in case of war.

Facework represents the transition from the real self of the individual to the image he or she represents to society for the communicative or leadership purposes. This concept is all about presentation of the dignified image which soon will become as an authority for other individuals. Facework is a skill of constantly maintaining the face in order to deserve the respect and honor from it. For instance, Individualistic cultures like United States, Canada, and Germany are standing for the position of protecting the self-face of the individual while collectivist cultures such as China, South Korea, and Japan support the idea of maintaining the other-face for self-dignity and self- respect There are also exist other facework strategies not always basing on the culture strategies like face-negotiating, face-constituting, face- compensating, face-honoring, face-saving, face-threatening, face-building, face-protecting, face-depreciating, face-giving, face-restoring, and face- neutral.
That same year, the project won the 2012 Innovation Prize in the Regional Contemporary Art Project nomination. Dolgov continued to collect and draw plants afterwards, so that the later versions of the Herbarium exhibition feature works executed in 2012 and later, as well as more recent installation pieces. In 2013, at the Moscow State University’s Zoological Museum in collaboration with Gallery 21 Ilya Dolgov presented his first personal exhibition in Moscow. In the Azoic project, the artist continued his investigation of the limits of relations between man, nature and machines. Here, Dolgov models a system of interconnections between imaginary creatures—chimeras—unveiling the ties inherent in the modern world, basing on the concept of Azoy as “an ancient period in the history of the Earth, where there were no organisms, machines and humans, while the planet was inhabited by the Azoyids. In those creatures, the biological, the technological and the cultural had not yet divided into separate ways of being”.
All members of SaarLorLux are also members of the European Community. The Greater Region is the central area of this community. Luxembourg, one of the three towns which house central institutions of the European Community (the court of justice of the European Communities) is situated in the center of the Greater Region while the other two (Brussels and Strasbourg) are situated just some miles across the borders, close to SaarLorLux. In terms of the European Union SaarLorLux is defined as a European Border Region (short form: Euroregion or Euregio), which means a single European transboundary region that is an "amalgamation of regional and local authorities from both sides of the national border, sometimes with a parliamentary assembly" with "cross-border organisations with a permanent secretariat and experts and administrative staff", basing on national foundations or international treaties, and a Greater Region (also macroregion), a territory that consists of multiple regions or subareas within different states of the European Union.
The first record of Turbo appears in 113, during the reign of emperor Trajan.Karol Kłodziński, "Equestrian cursus honorum basing on the careers of two prominent officers of the Emperor Marcus Aurelius", Tempore, 4 (2010) At the time, he was the commander of the Classis Misenensis, the most senior fleet of the Roman Navy and under the direct control of the emperor. Under Turbo’s command, the fleet sailed to the east to take part in Trajan's invasion of the Parthian Empire sometime between 113 AD and 116 AD. Approximately at the same time, large portions of the Jewish population in the Empire rose in rebellion, uprisings taking place almost simultaneously in Judea, Egypt, Libya, Cyprus and parts of Mesopotamia. The grain supply from Egypt to Rome was threatened and with local authorities unable to quell the rebellion, Trajan sent Turbo, by then one of his best military men and closest confidants, to Egypt to deal with the situation.
The film was also blamed for the rape of Olivia Niemi, a nine-year-old girl, committed on Baker's Beach, in San Francisco, by some of her peers with a glass soda pop bottle after she was tormented and humiliated with one seven-year-old friend by the band. Valeria Niemi, the victim's mother, basing on the fact the author who held the bottle, Sharon Smith, 15, the only one to have been jailed for the attack, having been sentenced to three years in a federal prison, evoked the movie when she was arrested, and that William Thomas, 14, the boy who provided the bottle, asked if it will be "like it was done in the picture", sued NBC and asked for damages up to $11 million. Two other girls, 10 and 15, and the boy who served as lookout saw charges dropped. In 1981, the California Supreme Court would declare the film was not obscene, and that the NBC network was not liable for the actions of the persons who committed the crime.
In a field study, those experiencing higher levels of job autonomy (the freedom to take initiative and exercise discretion in decision-making), low task complexity, supervisory support, and the internal locus of control (a tendency to attribute events to one's own control; such as the tendency to attribute a success to internal causes, like one's ability or effort, rather than external causes, such as good luck), tend to experience lower degrees of emotional exhaustion. Similarly, researchers reveal that even though higher degree of using emotion regulation on the job is related to higher levels of employees' emotional exhaustion, when employees believe that they have autonomy in their job behaviors, emotion regulation, that is otherwise exhausting, is not associated with exhaustion at all. Another field study, basing on a sample of call centre workers in a large telecommunications corporation, indicate that employees who are highly identified with the service work, possess higher levels of self-efficacy (the belief in one's ability to succeed;see Albert Bandura), and receive social support from their supervisors, are less likely to experience emotional exhaustion.
There are no manuscript sources that can be dated before 1502, and Planchart suggests that the mass can be dated around the 1480s. Because of its style the work is probably the earliest among the other masses based on a gregorian plainsong that Josquin started composing by the middle of his compositional career (the others being Ave maris stella, De Beata Virgine, Da pacem and Pange lingua). 500px By comparing four different versions of the Gaudeamus introit (taken respectively from the Graduale Romanum, the north Italian tradition of the 15th century, the north Italian tradition of the 11th century and the French tradition) Planchart notes motivic resemblances to the north Italian versions, suggesting that the composer was in northern Italy when composed the mass, basing on one of the local sources. B bringing similar examples taken from the works of Guillaume Dufay, he also points out as such strong resemblance to one particular source despite of another could indicate that composers of that time did not necessary wrote down their cantus firmus from memory.
Led by Desmond O'Toole, José Reis Santos and Arthur Colin, the campaign managed to convince the PES Council meeting in Warsaw in December 2010 to set up Working Group "Candidate 2014" in charge of proposing a procedure and timetable for a "democratic" and "transparent" designation process. So, basing on their knowledge of hydraulic engineering, organization of owners, etc.. he was the architect of the construction of two canals that were used to supply water to missions and settlers: The irrigation ditch "la Conception" (1732), that irrigated the missions, and the irrigation ditch of "San Pedro "(1738), which would give drink to the settlers. The fact that he finished the first channel catering to the missions, caused him problems with the settlers, but also received special favors from the monks, who ceded Amerindians for that, as he directed the construction of the canal, they should work and look after their land, which made Rodriguez could engage in work that the rest of the colonists could not do and, while their neighbors to repent by treatment with him due to this special treatment for the missionaries. He even went on to become in Judge of the Villa, and at the summit in 1741 was appointed Mayor. Because of the problems mentioned above, in June 1749, he was accused by neighbors and was imprisoned for abuse of power, but this was, apparently, a plan to discredit him because of the prestige that over time he had acquired in the villa.
