This makes Danny realise that he wants to be with Hannah and support her in her recovery, and so they reconcile once again.

Vinita, the spurned lover is seeking revenge from Ajay and soon gets an opportunity when Neelima gets injured in an accident. Ajay misinterprets the situation unknown to the fact that she actually has met with an accident and is filled with hatred for her. By the end of the film, Anand who is all set to marry Neelima backs out at the last minute giving way to her marriage with Ajay.

Magda sells Petra out to the police, giving her full blame, but Rafael helps Petra turn things around and get Magda re- incarcerated. Petra begins to suffer from postpartum depression, not knowing how to be a mother, and she considers running away. Hank also realizes that his post-shooting physical therapy was paid with Walt's drug money, making him an accessory after the fact. Hank once again approaches Jesse and finally convinces they need to work together to stop Walt. Hank initially tries to have Jesse meet with Walt while wearing a wire tap, but Jesse backs out at the last minute, fearing Walt will kill him.

Charles Stoddard (played by Hale) is a poor artist living with his wife and two children in Greenwich Village. He grows closer to Irene and at the end of a date, he wants to kiss her but backs out. Donald is reinstated and Irene decides she cannot be with Paris as he is going to leave and both find it difficult to be around one another.

On the run from police for committing a series of robberies in the past, he ends up in a village and he comes across a poet named Deepak (also Amitabh Bachchan) and comes to his aid. Taking advantage of the fact that Deepak is his lookalike he decides to steal his identity by killing him. He backs out of killing him however when he discovers Deepak is already dying of an illness.

After this incident, Lelouch becomes depressed over Nunnally's involvement, since he can't bring himself to go against her wishes. He tries to kiss her, requesting her to comfort him as a woman, but despite her feelings for him she backs out at the last moment and slaps him, insisting that he bears the responsibility for realizing the dream he gave the Japanese people.

The film opens with Oshima (Danny Kamekona) attempting to sell a revolutionary turbo charger to an auto maker headed by Derek Jarryd (Dennis Holahan). However, the deal is being brokered by two goons, Scully (Tom Noonan) and Kosnic (Randall "Tex" Cobb). When Oshima backs out at the last second, explaining he's hidden the turbo charger, he's tortured and hung upside down, where he has a fatal heart attack, dying before he can disclose the location of the turbo charger. The manager at the junkyard stumbles upon what is going on, and is shot with a rocket gun by Scully, killing him.

Charlie's double life is exposed and it is revealed he had told Joan his name was Tommy. After being confronted by both women and humiliated in the pub, Charlie flees. He returns the next year to con Dot out of her bingo money and he finds that Nick is already plotting to steal her winnings by poisoning her, but Nick soon backs out with the persuasion of Charlie. Unfortunately just when Charlie is trying to tell Dot that Nick is going to poison her and he stops him, Dot tells him to leave once again, not believing that Nick would do such a thing.

During a yacht party thrown by May, Jeana, knowing of the rough patch in Sara and Shin's relationship, tries to seduce Shin and suggest Sara, Jolie and she go on a get away to Seoul, South Korea, to have fun with Kim. On the day they are to depart to Seoul Jeana backs out of the trip with only Sara and Jolie going.

Armand Zarkarian (Ken Davitian) is an Armenian-American real estate tycoon. Armand and Daniel are the only members of the Encino Oaks Country Club who come from a lower-class background and earned their own money instead of inheriting it. Facing stiff competition from Tom Cole, Daniel asks Armand to find him property in Reseda for a new dealership location; in exchange, he will have the Encino Oaks Country Club reinstate Armand's membership (it is implied that Armand was blacklisted for urinating in the country club's shower room). Armand initially offers the strip mall but backs out when he suspects Daniel has an ulterior motive for the location.

They start a relationship and while they maintain that they are just having fun, seem to genuinely be falling for each other. This is complicated by Neal and Mozzie's plan to run away with their hidden stash of treasure. in the episode "Taking Account", Neal and Sara temporarily move in together while her apartment is under construction, and Neal finds himself enjoying the idyllic lifestyle he has with her. At one point, he comes extremely close to asking her to come with him and Mozzie when they leave, but backs out when she says she could never be happy leading a life that she didn't deserve.

In the beginning of season 1 it is suggested that Cooper is in love with Violet Turner, his best friend and a psychiatrist at Oceanside Wellness. Cooper is often ridiculing Violet for her continued infatuation with her ex-boyfriend Alan. When Violet is feeling sexually deprived she makes a pact to be friends with benefits with Cooper, but Cooper backs out at the last minute because he does not want to change their relationship. In the episode "In Which Cooper Finds a Port in His Storm," he meets Dr. Charlotte King, chief of staff at the local hospital and someone he knows professionally, through an on-line dating site.

Lily and Rufus find out about the drugs, which Damien covers up with a story about his father. Against Rufus's will, Jenny continues her relationship with Damien, who seems interested in taking it further. Jenny, who is a virgin, backs out at the last minute, causing Damien to break up with her, leaving her to face her family. At Rufus's suggestion, Eleanor reemploys Jenny to help out with her upcoming fashion show. Jenny is happy to be back, but is shocked to learn that one of the models she’ll be working with is Agnes, who, after the show finishes, takes revenge on Jenny by drugging her and leaving her in a bar to be taken advantage of.

However, Bert backs out of their deal at the last minute, claiming that he never signed an agreement, and tells them that he plans to take their inventory in foreclosure and sell them (renamed the "Shower Pal") himself, while leaving the three in $500,000 debt with their outstanding loan. Seeking financial advice, Nick, Dale, and Kurt visit Nick's imprisoned former boss, Dave Harken, who says the three have no feasible legal options to recover their losses. The trio then resolves to kidnap Rex and hold him for ransom. They seek the help of "Motherfucker" Jones, who says the best way to kidnap someone who knows them is to keep the victim unconscious for the duration of the kidnapping.

Injuries knocked Clemson's two leading running backs out of the game, and starting Clemson quarterback Woodrow Dantzler was removed from the game after he proved ineffective against the Virginia Tech defense. Despite these changes, the Tigers were unable to reduce Virginia Tech's lead, which stood at 34-13 at the end of the third quarter. Schimanski is consistently presented as the prototypical proletarian, living very close to the criminals he pursues. Consequently, many of his cases deal with underprivileged victims and upper-class criminals, or at least suspects, which was a rather uncommon concept in West German television shows of that era. Coming from the industrial city of Duisburg in the Ruhr area, George portrayed the character as a rugged, often unkempt simple man (unsophisticated, yet not unintelligent), who often swears but never backs out of a fight, and doesn't disrespect minorities. In the majority of episodes, he wears a well-worn grey or beige M-65 field jacket with cropped epaulettes that became famous in Germany as the "Schimanski Jacket".

Small-timer Fei (Louis Koo), his married buddy Sam (Simon Yam), and antique store owner Mok (Sun Hong Lei) are all in desperate need of money. Fei wants his friend to drive a robbery getaway car but Sam backs out, throwing Fei in trouble with the triads. As the three are arguing, a mysterious man leaves them a map, leading them to an unlikely treasure under the Legislative Council building. All their financial woes seem to be solved after a late-night heist, but they are being tracked by shady cop Wen (Gordon Lam), who is carrying on an affair with Sam's emotionally unstable wife, Ling (Kelly Lin), and has connections with Fei.

Chapman's first signing was veteran Charlie Buchan from Sunderland; as well as his contributions on the pitch, Buchan would play an important part off it. After Arsenal were beaten 7–0 by Newcastle United in October 1925, Buchan suggested a change to the formation to adapt to a relaxation of the offside law, adjusting Arsenal's formation to the "WM", strengthening the defence by pushing the centre half back into defence and the full-backs out to the wings. Over time, Chapman developed the formation further, putting an emphasis on a pacey forward line, wingers cutting inside, and the role of a creative ball-playing midfielder.

Though they manage to escape alive, Cutter breaks his leg, and Chloe subsequently backs out of the adventure to get Cutter medical aid. Chloe does not appear in the main story of Uncharted 4, however, during the beginning events of the game, it is shown that she sent a note to Nathan, saying she's available if he were to ever start treasure hunting again. While organizing a neighborhood watch association to deal with a local vandal, Aidan ends up catching the attention of a police officer who is the son of a man he had killed in the past. Though he tried to erase the officer's memory of him so Bishop could not turn him, Aidan later learns of the officer's suicide. Aidan also attempts to help Rebecca by setting up a co-dependent relationship, feasting on each other's blood rather than live blood, but she eventually backs out. When Aidan discovers that Bishop has begun recruiting new vampires from dying hospital patients against his wishes, he confronts the hospital chaplain who has been turned into a vampire by Bishop while he was dying of terminal cancer.

Some of Joey's other jobs have included selling Christmas trees, dressing as Santa Claus and as a Christmas elf, working as a tour guide at the Museum of Natural History where Ross worked, offering perfume samples to customers at a department store, and as a Roman warrior at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. He also works at the restaurant "Alessandro's" where Monica is head chef, nicknaming himself "Dragon" while on the job. Monica hires him just so she can fire him to intimidate the other employees who pay her no respect, but he makes a lot of tips and backs out of the deal, only to realize how important his getting fired was to Monica.

Ultimately Anton travels to the Kalahari Desert himself after everything else fails to make progress. (He has had to mortgage his house to pay for the expenses of finding Dirkie after a newspaper backs out of an earlier offer to assist with expenses.) In the desert, he meets one of the Bushmen who had earlier met Dirkie, and gets information about the direction Dirkie was last seen going in, and he is finally able to find Dirkie, who looks as if he is close to death. His dog is still with him, although injured. The film ends with Dirkie (unconscious) in his father's arms, together with his little dog (still alert), both being carried back to the vehicle his father had travelled there in.

Lois arranges lunch at Monk's with her, Jerry, and Duncan; realizing that Lois doesn't believe his claim that he legitimately won the race, he asks George to turn up at Monk's, pretend he has not seen Jerry since high school, and back up his winning story. Duncan is unconvinced, and demands that Jerry race him again; Jerry initially agrees, but backs out when he learns that Duncan called up everyone from high school to come out for the race. After Lois tells Jerry that Duncan threatened to fire her because he would not race, Jerry finally agrees. On the day of the race, Jerry gets worried the legend will die if Duncan were to win while Duncan promises to give Lois a raise and a vacation if Jerry were to win.

Each frame was to be hand-tinted to maintain the sepia tone. However, it was abandoned because it was too expensive and labor-intensive, and MGM used a simpler, less-expensive technique: During the May reshoots, the inside of the farmhouse was painted sepia, and when Dorothy opens the door, it is not Garland, but her stand-in, Bobbie Koshay, wearing a sepia gingham dress, who then backs out of frame. Once the camera moves through the door, Garland steps back into frame in her bright blue gingham dress (as noted in DVD extras), and the sepia-painted door briefly tints her with the same color before she emerges from the house's shadow, into the bright glare of the Technicolor lighting. This also meant that the reshoots provided the first proper shot of Munchkinland.

With no other leads Xiao He asks her chef friend Chen Jun Hao (Hero Tai) if he has any information about the abandoned restaurant. One of Jun Hao's co-workers is only able to provide Chris with what he knows of the abandoned restaurant's chef reputation and his surname. With the little information they just received Chris proceeds on his journey, but before they can continue Xiao He reminds him that the day is almost over and he must pay for that day's services. Soon realizing he got pocketed of his identifications and wallet at the airport, he swallows his pride and unpleasant attitude to depend on Xiao He for food and broad that night when he backs out of contacting Charlie (Ching Yang), the only person he knows in Taiwan.

Injuries also took their toll, with two defensive backs out for the bowl game.

Some addicts who leave early go to prison or enter another facility to continue treatment; others never complete the rehab process, with the majority relapsing and continuing their former habits. Occasionally, during an episode, the plight of another addict in the addict's circle becomes apparent, and the show often makes additional plans to help the other addict find treatment as well. These secondary interventions, like the primary ones, have a mixed record of success and failure. Additionally, the secondary addict sometimes promises to seek treatment to get the primary to have treatment, only to back out once the primary departs (example: Paul, stepfather of OxyContin addict Ryan from Season 3, tells Ryan that he intends to seek help for his drinking problem, but later backs out of going to rehab himself, though he does quit drinking independently).

Maureen Kukudio (played by Emily Althaus) – A younger inmate introduced in the third season, Maureen becomes an obsessive fan of Suzanne's new erotica series, which she began writing in the drama class they both attended. She perpetually irritates Suzanne by offering her ideas for her upcoming chapters and writing her own fan-fiction. As time progresses, however, it becomes clear that Maureen is romantically interested in Suzanne, who becomes nervous, as she has never actually had a girlfriend or any sexual experience — she writes her erotica almost entirely from imagination. She backs out of a sexual liaison with Maureen in one of the storage closets, due to her apprehension and lack of sexual experience, but the two continue to flirt, and they are brought closer in the final scene when Suzanne retrieves a terrapin that Maureen threw away after it bit her foot.

Hari and Grayson plan to buy a racehorse together but Grayson backs out, leaving Hari to raise the funds that would cover Grayson's share, which results in him taking money from the practice to make up Grayson's share. The horse has to be put down on its first run leaving Hari in a financial mire as he needs to replace the money Grayson's mother, Rosemary King (Linda Thorson) give him the money, on the understanding that he will do her a favour in return at a later date. That favour, when called in, is to tell the police that Hari heard the King brothers discussing how they had murdered their father, Rosemary's husband Tom King (Ken Farrington) and find someone to verify his story. Hari then persuades Louise Appleton (Emily Symons) to provide a statement but she works out he is lying.

An F-15 backs out after refueling from a KC-135R. The KC-135 was initially purchased to support bombers of the Strategic Air Command, but by the late 1960s, in the Southeast Asia theater, the KC-135 Stratotanker's ability as a force multiplier came to the fore. Midair refueling of F-105 and F-4 fighter-bombers as well as B-52 bombers brought far-flung bombing targets within reach, and allowed fighter missions to spend hours at the front, rather than a few minutes, which was usual due to their limited fuel reserves and high fuel consumption. KC-135 crews refueled both Air Force and Navy / Marine Corps aircraft; though they would have to change to probe and drogue adapters depending upon the mission, the Navy and Marine Corps not having fitted their aircraft with flying boom receptacles since the USAF boom system was impractical for aircraft carrier operations.

When he arrives, he is taken hostage and held along with Adam by Irish mobsters who hope to use the situation to distract the NYPD while others of their clan break into the lab to retrieve a huge cocaine seizure from earlier in the day. Danny is badly beaten during his captivity (taking a total of 4 blows to the head, one to the spine and having his left hand broken), but with Adam's help, manages to take down their captors in time to be rescued by the officers gathered outside. In The Party's Over, Danny backs out of a crime scene, claiming to be sick, and goes on a strike of sorts, or blue flu, due to pay issues within the NYPD and the crime lab. When Stella Bonasera arrives at his apartment to confront him, she reluctantly agrees that she sees where he's coming from.

Cartman decides to appear on Dateline NBC and be interviewed by Chris Hansen, with the intention of making an anti-Semitic hate speech while being commended for his bravery in living with TS. However, at a congratulatory dinner beforehand, he inadvertently blurts out embarrassing true details from his past and realizes that he has lost the ability to censor himself, after saying whatever comes to his mind for so long. He tries to cancel the Dateline interview for fear of humiliating himself, but Hansen intimidates him into going ahead with it by telling him about a pedophile who tried to back out of appearing on the series To Catch a Predator. He shot himself after the production crew tracked him down; Hansen insinuates that the man was actually murdered and that the same will happen to Cartman if he backs out. Realizing that he has no way to avoid going on Dateline, Cartman prays for a miracle while at the same time blaming God for his predicament.

Despite winning, Hoops offers the prize to Teddy if he spares Cassandra's house, but Teddy immediately backs out on his promise. However, Old Man Beckersted (father of Aguilla and grandfather of Teddy) gives back the prize and spares Cassandra's house, stating he wasn't going to "put a dime" in the Beckersted Estates; he then drags Teddy away by his ear. With the prize returned and the house spared, Hoops and Cassandra kiss, and she inspires a love story for his application. In the final scene, George's uncle Frank finally wins a $1 million prize from a radio contest (having been driven insane every summer for trying to win), but his phone gets disconnected and his prize is given away to someone else; he snaps and promptly uses a rocket launcher to blow up the radio station, and shortly thereafter the Stork twins arrive and head to the still-burning station to roast marshmallows.

The compact SUV Suzuki Samurai gained a reputation in the U.S. market of being an unsafe car and prone to a rollover after Consumer Reports, the magazine arm of Consumers Union, reported that during a 1988 test on the short course avoidance maneuver (Consumer Union Short Course Double Lane Change, or CUSC for short), the Samurai experienced what they deemed as an unacceptable amount of tipover while undertaking the severe turn. The behavior which CU deemed unacceptable stemmed from the sudden swerve simulation part of the test where, for example, a car backs out of a driveway or drives forward from a side street or intersection and into traffic, causing the driver to suddenly swerve to avoid hitting the object that is obstructing the driver's path. The unacceptable tipover behavior occurred after the standard course was modified to induce the tipover behavior, which did not occur while experienced drivers utilized the standard course. CU staff were attempting to replicate an unintentional Samurai roll-over incident, involving a CU staff member, which had occurred previously during the evaluation of the Samurai.

Such individuals include the eccentric English producer of the movie, "John Quincy Adams" (whom Caravello never meets in person and who only calls when Mole leaves the room), casting director "Roman Polanski" (Cook), studio receptionist and soon to be co-star "Susan B. Anthony" (Lisa Arch, credited as Lisa Kushell), Japanese "money man" "Hiroshima Nagasaki" (Toshi Toda), who backs out of financing the production when Mole knocks over a table of junk food, limo driver and aspiring rock musician "Travis Bickle" (Dave Sheridan), set photographer "Ansel Adams" (Toby Huss), production assistant "Frances Farmer" (Laura Silverman), Caravello's personal assistant "Burt Ward" (Eric Marseglia), and merchandising agents "Sacco and Vanzetti" (Scott Hartman and Wayne Wilderson). Notable exceptions to this naming convention include attorney "Sol Sternbergowitz-Greenbaum" (Sal Iacono) and Santiago (Tom Kenny), a wardrobe assistant who mistakes Caravello for Luke Perry, provoking a homophobic outburst that Caravello attributes to a homosexual encounter with a casting agent in 1992.

The Seminoles scored their first touchdown of the day on first- and-goal from the 5 when Zack Crockett found the end zone on a fullback dive. The Florida State defense then forced a three-and-out, and after the punt, the Seminoles took over on their own 39. Kanell hit Kez McCorvey for a big gain, taking the Seminoles down to the Florida 25-yard line. Kanell then found a wide open Warrick Dunn on a swing pass for a 19-yard gain. On the next play, Kanell rolled right and connected with Andre Cooper in the front right corner of the end zone for a touchdown, making it a 31–17 game with 10:04 to play. After the Seminoles again forced the Gators to punt, which was almost blocked after a bad snap, Florida State took over on its own 27. Kanell methodically drove the Seminoles down the field, completing 6 passes, mostly to receivers underneath Florida's zone coverage and running backs out of the backfield. Kanell completed the drive with a 3-yard touchdown run that cut the score to 31–24. Florida took possession at its 33 with 5:04 left to play, and the Gators appeared to steady themselves with a 15-yard completion from Wuerffel to Reidel Anthony.
