The song, like most of Dylan's, is composed of a simple harmonic, or chordal, and melodic structure; the verse has a I-ii-IV-I progression followed by I-V-IV-vi-V. The song is in the key of F# Major. Dylan begins by telling the unspecified second-person target of the song that they have a lot of nerve to say that they are his friend and then goes on to list a multitude of examples of their backstabbing duplicity. While the lyrics are distinctly negative, the organ-dominated backing music is that of carefree folk-rock.

The song received generally positive reviews from critics. Rohit Vats reviewing for Hindustan Times described the song "simple yet soulful", praising the lyrics by Irshad Kamil. Rajiv Vijayakar from Bollywood Hungama complimented Shreya Ghoshal's rendition in the song stating "Shreya is in customary excellent form and is superlative and more" though criticised "loud, synthetic backing music". Surabhi Redkar from Koimoi stated "While Shreya Ghoshal's voice brings out the mush in you, there is also the soulful voice of Arijit Singh to give you the perfect recipe for a romantic song", and picked the song as one of the best tracks from the album.

Jim Bob and Fruitbat stuck together and formed Carter USM, a band in which the two both played guitars and sang while a sequencer and drum machine played backing music. Carter USM had 14 Top 40 singles, one number one album and played over 800 gigs all over the world. A cycling enthusiast, the cycling hat Fruitbat wore onstage in the early years became a strong visual trademark for the band. He would often take his bike with him on Carter tours, much to the annoyance of Jim Bob as detailed in the book, Goodnight Jim Bob.

In the middle of the 1980s, the bands Dead Can Dance and In the Nursery released influential albums which essentially laid the foundations of the Neoclassical dark wave genre. In 1985 Dead Can Dance released Spleen and Ideal, which initiated the band's 'medieval European sound.' In 1987 In the Nursery released Stormhorse, which exhibited a bold, cinematic style and a symphonic/post-industrial sound lending itself to 'being envisioned as backing music for a dramatic epic.' This music, 'clearly more inspired by the classical than the rock tradition, had a melancholy, visionary and sometimes nostalgic quality'.

The original recorded version of "Hand in Glove" is in the key of G minor. The song begins with an overdub of Marr playing a harmonica over the rest of the music. Simon Goddard wrote that Marr's use of the instrument "purposefully evoked the very same 'blunt vitality of working-class "northernness" that Ian McDonald attributes to The Beatles' parallel 1962 single 'Love Me Do', though infinitely more melancholy." Of the backing music, Goddard wrote, "Marr's redolent minor chord wash weeps with a rain-soaked hopelessness while Rourke contributes one of his most inspired bass patterns".

Madonna's live return to BRIT Awards after 20 years was widely promoted in the media in the days leading up to the ceremony and during the show itself. During the performance of "Living for Love", she walked onstage wearing an oversized cape. When standing on stairs situated on the stage, the cape's cord failed to separate, so when Madonna's backing dancer pulled the cape behind her, she fell down the stairs and noticeably hit the stage hard. She paused momentarily as her backing music continued, before she managed to separate herself from the cape and then continued performing.

Stanton Swihart, Rovi and Tricatel released a Vinyl edition in 2011. March developed and performed an English translation of the Serge Gainsbourg song, "Laisse tomber les filles", renamed as "Chick Habit." The song has been featured in the 1999 campy teen comedy But I'm a Cheerleader and in Quentin Tarantino's 2007 film Death Proof; it was also used as the backing music to television advertisements for the Renault Twingo in the UK and in France in 2008. It is part of the soundtrack of the immersive theatre production by Punchdrunk The Drowned Man in London, which played until March 2014.

This release includes four tracks. In a retrospective review of the song, Allmusic described "Head Like a Hole" as "grand theater", elaborating further by commenting the "backing music was immaculately crafted and produced".[ allmusic] In its review of the single, the author was largely positive towards the song selection, even saying that the inclusion of "Head Like a Hole", "Terrible Lie", and "Down in It" "renders Pretty Hate Machine mostly unnecessary". As for the other tracks included on the single, Allmusic was less positive, adding, "This is one case where quality definitely would have sufficed without the quantity".

Booker T. & the M.G.'s formed as the house band of Stax Records, providing backing music for numerous singers, including Wilson Pickett and Otis Redding. In summer 1962, 17-year-old keyboardist Booker T. Jones, 20-year-old guitarist Steve Cropper, and two seasoned players, bassist Lewie Steinberg and drummer Al Jackson Jr. (the latter making his debut with the company) were in the Memphis studio to back the former Sun Records star Billy Lee Riley. During downtime, the four started playing around with a bluesy organ riff. Jim Stewart, the president of Stax Records, was in the control booth.

The following is an incomplete list of hip hop festivals, which encapsulates music festivals focused on hip hop music or other elements of hip hop culture. This backing music, which can include digital sampling (music and sounds extracted from other recordings), is also called hip-hop, the name used to refer to a broader cultural movement that includes rap, deejaying (turntable manipulation), graffiti painting, and break dancing.

Shortly after came the album What About Me?, a hit whose title track—a trio performance with James Ingram and Kim Carnes—was nominated for a Grammy Award; the single "Crazy" (not to be confused with the Willie Nelson-penned Patsy Cline hit) topped the country charts. David Foster was to work again with Rogers in his 1985 album The Heart of the Matter, although this time Foster was playing backing music rather than producing, a role given to George Martin. This album was another success, going to No. 1, with the title track making to the top ten category in the singles charts.

Paul Oakenfold (pictured) co-wrote and co-produced the song In March 2009, Madonna's representative Liz Rosenberg confirmed that Madonna wrote three new tracks for the compilation album, with Paul Oakenfold being confirmed as producer for two of the new songs. Attitude magazine reported in an interview with Oakenfold that the tracks he produced with Madonna are called "Broken (I'm Sorry)" and "Celebrate". He stated that the new music is "lyrically classic Madonna with an edgy modern sound." The song "Celebrate", later renamed as "Celebration", has backing music composed by Ciaran Gribbin, Ian Green and Oakenfold, with lyrics and vocal melody composed by Madonna.

Typically seven or eight songs into the show, "Waitin' on a Sunny Day" provided the first buoyant, happy moments. Springsteen's first-ever use of recorded backing music took place on the mid-show "Worlds Apart", where Middle Eastern vocals were applied. The role of elongated band introductions song for this tour was taken by "Mary's Place", which also usually included interpolations of R&B; classics. The main set closer was a final September 11 number, "Into the Fire", which relevant to the new album's themes emphasized togetherness and praise for sacrifice rather than the pure exuberance of previous tours' closers such as "Rosalita" and "Light of Day".

It was also used as the backing music to television advertisements for the Renault Twingo in the UK and in France in 2008. There was a cover performed by Marjorie Condoris, Stéphanie D'Alma, Amina El Bennouni, Sofia Essaïdi, Elodie Frégé, and Morganne Matis when they were contestants on Star Academy during season 3 (2002). It was released as the 14th track on the show's tie-in album Star Academy III: Fait sa Bamba (Mercury France 2003). American electronica musician Benn Jordan recorded a cover of the 1995 English version of the song for his album Flexing Habitual under the name The Flashbulb in 2006.

AllMusic calls the compilation "a fascinating, educational listen, even if it's not necessarily indispensable." Q gave the "enlightening" box set a perfect score and wrote that "the backing music tracks sans vocals opens your ears to a bevy of awe-inspiring nuances previously obscured by singing. At the same time, the isolated vocal tracks are nothing less than spiritual in their emotive wallop." The New York Observers D. Strauss called the stereo mix "pointless", adding, "I must admit that, as a music geek, listening to Mr. Wilson hold myriad consultations on when to beep the bicycle horn in 'You Still Believe in Me' carries a portentous thrill".

Creem critic Dave Marsh described "We're All Water" as a "cosmic rocker" and claimed that it was possibly the best song on Some Time in New York City and among the Plastic Ono Band's best work. He also gives the song as an example of where Ono began to "figure out how to effectively apply her ideas to Western music." Urish and Bielen call it "one of the better transferences of [Ono's] conceptual art instructions into song lyrics" and they also praise the "high energy" backing music and Ono's "playful yet serious" lyrics and vocal performance. Rogan considered it to be "a suitable romp" for ending the studio record of Some Time in New York City.

From 2006 on, Caporaso has used two separate singing styles using two separate performing names. When singing as "Luciana", Caporaso's vocal style often revolves around sassy, playful, rhythmic speech-song, often with intentionally brazen lyrics and speaking quality, interspersed with bits of outright singing. Because of the lack of tonal quality to this style, the backing music for many of her songs incorporate bass and synth licks that move through chromatic scale segments, giving the music an unusual, edgy sound that contrasts the completely tonal (or modal) music that forms nearly all of the music by other artists in the dance/electronic and pop genres. Meanwhile, in contrast, her "Isha Coco" voice is a more traditional chanteuse style.

One unique feature of Gilligan was the fact that it was produced and animated in the United States, where most shows at that time were animated overseas in order to cut production costs. However, Filmation's dedication to having its shows produced locally did not help the production values, as many felt the animation of Gilligan was of poor quality. As the series did not secure the rights to "The Ballad of Gilligan's Isle", a spoken-word poem with lyrics and backing music vaguely reminiscent of the theme (but distinct enough to avoid copyright issues) was substituted as the opening introduction. All of the voice actors except for Bob Denver read portions of the poem.

In September 2006, the band went into The Dairy Studios, Brixton to record and mix their debut EP "Forever On" in 7 days with producer Stan Kybert. They recorded seven songs, six of which comprised the EP "Forever On" and one b-side. Their debut single, "Keep Loving Me", was released in 2007 – followed by the EP. The song "Keep Loving Me" was used on a Mojo Magazine covermount entitled "Best of British 2007", and as the backing music for the Official Formula One websites video highlight of the 2008 Monaco Grand Prix. Chrisye recalled later that the audience – children and adults – had memorised the lyrics to his songs, classics and recent releases; he said that this gesture made him feel incredibly small. Invigorated by the concert's success, Chrisye went on tour to Surabaya, Surakarta, and Bandung, using a convoy of 24 trucks and buses to transport the necessary equipment; those concerts also sold out. Following the success of his Sendiri tour, Chrisye began to explore the possibility of producing an album of his early hits, remastered by Gutawa. On the condition that they use an Australian orchestra to provide backing music, Gutawa agreed to an acoustic-flavoured album. Aciu also agreed, despite the expected cost of Rp 600 million (US$70,000).

Holt's career began in the early 1970s when he worked as a session musician backing artists including Don Carlos and Prince Far I.Moskowitz, David V. (2006) Caribbean Music: an Encyclopedia of Reggae, Mento, Ska, Rock Steady, and Dancehall, Greenwood Press, , p.140-141 He also had a sound system hit in his own name with "A You Lick Me First" in 1976.Larkin, Colin (1998) The Virgin Encyclopedia of Reggae, Virgin Books, , p.124 In 1976 he joined The Morwells, and later formed (along with guitarist Eric "Bingy Bunny" Lamont) the Roots Radics Band, with whom he recorded the backing music for myriad reggae singers and vocal groups in the late 1970s and 80s.

Robert Copsey of Digital Spy commented that the "['Best Thing I Never Had'] is a classic Beyoncé track waiting to happen". Chad Grischow of IGN wrote that "the lush backing music and [the] soaring vocals" on the song sound suitable for an updated take on the Waiting To Exhale soundtrack album as Beyoncé is ecstatic that she ended a poor relationship before it was too late. Jon Caramainca of The New York Times commented that the "Best Thing I Never Had" has "optimistic, coffee-commercial" pianos, which place Beyoncé directly in Lilith Fair territory. James Montgomery of MTV News wrote that it is one of the best ballads on the album 4.

Joseph Simmons would tell McDaniels to write about a particular subject which led him to fill his notebook with rhymes. Russel Simmons and Larry Smith would go over lyrics deciding which ones to use, with McDaniels stating that both would "pass over any references to violence, guns, and shit like that." McDaniels stated that Joseph Simmons and himself wanted to created "beat jams; we wanted to rhyme over the break beats that the DJs like Grandmaster Flash, Grand Wizzard Theodore, Charlie Chase, and Tony Tone were dropping on those cassette tapes before records were made." Initially for "Rock Box", McDaniels was interested in using Billy Squier's "The Big Beat" (1980) as the backing music.

Horne and the band have often appeared on Channel 4's 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown as the dictionary corner guest, performing various songs and jokes, and chaired the BBC Two comedy/music quiz Never Mind the Buzzcocks in November 2012. The band provide the theme music for Horne's Taskmaster TV show, as well as those for The Guardian's cricket podcast The Spin. The Horne Section were the 'house band' for Channel 4's The Last Leg of the Year on New Year's Eve 2018 and 2019, where they contributed backing music as well as playing a number of their own songs. During 2020, they provided music for The Last Leg: Locked Down Under and Peter Crouch: Save Our Summer.

In May 2010 they released their debut single 'Home Is The Fire' which has featured as backing music to S4C's Heineken Cup Programmes, ITV's 'Captains Climb', ESPN Cricket and WRU TV. Cuba Cuba spent the summer of 2010 finishing their debut album with producers Todd Campbell (Straight Lines, Tiger Please) and Tristan Ivemy (Frank Turner, The Holloways). The album was released on Walnut Tree Records on 27 June 2011 titled Where Else Is Safe But The Road? The album has received positive reviews from the press so far. Alter The Press gave the album 9/10 noting that it was "an absolute triumph" In the summer of 2011 Cuba Cuba played the BBC Introducing Stages at Reading and Leeds Festivals.

Their second album, You See Colours, was released in March 2006, and saw a breakthrough when their songs began being used as backing music on the BBC Television football highlights show Match of the Day, and also commercially; "Long Time Coming" featured in national advertisement campaigns both in the UK and the US and on the premiere episode of the second season of Veronica Mars. The band played most of the major British festivals in the summer of 2006. In May of that year, Delays parted company with Rough Trade by mutual consent and signed to Fiction / Polydor in December. The music video for "Valentine" received regular play on MTV, and also gave them their first appearance on the Top of the Pops programme on the BBC.

Sweney, Mark. "David Boreanaz stars in Sky ident as channels given new look", guardian.co.uk, 6 August 2008 On 1 February 2011, Sky refreshed the presentation on many of its channels. Sky Two's new idents would follow along the same themes as Sky One's, but the action is in close-up, featuring a small metal '2' icon (in contrast to Sky One's giant '1' symbol). Sky One would later switch to programme-themed idents, whilst Sky Two largely continued to use the 2011 sequences; in April 2016, when Sky One got new animated identity sequences, Sky Two received a revised version of its 2011 films, with a larger Sky Two logo caption appearing at the end of the sequence, and the backing music changed to that previously used by the Sky One versions of the films.

It is composed in the key of A minor with Madonna's vocals ranging from Gm to Dm. The song follows a sequence of Gm–Cm–E during the opening prayer verse and Am–Em–G–F for the rest as its chord progression. Mike Senior from Sound on Sound magazine found that along with the predominant synth sounds, there was "a lot" of double tracking present in the song which made the vocals unclear. He felt that this was not pose a problem in stereo sound, but with mono sounds the combined vocals appeared double tracked while the vocal level decreased. The mixing for "Girl Gone Wild" was done mainly for stereo speakers and around the 1:45–2:00 mark, the vocal levels fluctuate with the backing music being dwarfed.

He also scored the closedown of ITV Granada in the 1980s, before it switched to 24-hour television. Mansfield is probably best known by American audiences as the composer of the tune "Funky Fanfare", used for underscoring in the Astro Daters series of snipes produced by the National Screen Service in the late 1960s. That song is currently used during the opening credits of the show Pit Boss on Animal Planet, as well as backing music for the "Quick Hits" segment on the Sklarbro Country podcast. Mansfield also composed the brass tune "Superstar Fanfare", which was notably used (in several variations) by Channel Television in the Channel Islands, RTL plus's news programme 7 vor 7, Worldvision Enterprises, and by the Services Sound and Vision Corporation (SSVC) as a television ident jingle for British Forces TV in West Germany in the 1980s.

Matarazzo and Gabriella Pizzolo, the actress playing Suzie and also a seasoned singer on Broadway, were on sets near each other when they sang the song together and were able to harmonize the song as well without the backing music. As their characters were not meant to be in that much synchronization due to being in two different places, the song's backing track and some autotuning were used to blend their singing to their respective settings and the tone of the soundtrack. According to the cast and to composers Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, the song became an earworm for many of the cast on the day that scene was filmed. Later in the episode, Lucas and Max, played by Caleb McLaughlin and Sadie Sink, sing the song in duet back to Dustin to mock him; both McLaughlin and Sink also have had experience in Broadway musicals.

As hip-hop started to spread outward from its birthplace in the Bronx, one of the new localities that embraced and advanced the controversial genre was New Orleans. Local producers and record label owners with past success in other black genres tried their hand at hip-hop, but soon a new generation got involved. Kevin "MC T. Tucker" Ventry, one of the first bounce artists, captured the attention of the city in 1991 with his style of rap "defined by a preference for chanted refrains...and the use of several core samples to form the backing music", two characteristics that came to signify bounce music. Other early bounce artists included DJ Jubilee, DJ Jimi, Partners-N-Crime, Hot Boy Ronald, Juvenile, U.N.L.V. and Magnolia Shorty up until her death. The subgenre flourished in the city without much national recognition, but soon New Orleans’ artists would take over the country.

The term "Dub Poetry" was coined by influential Dub artist Linton Kwesi Johnson in 1976, and further popularized by equally influential artist Oku Onoura, which consists of spoken word over reggae rhythms, originally found on the backing or "version" side of a 12 or 6 inch vinyl record. Unlike dee jaying (also known as toasting), which also features the use of the spoken word, the dub poet's performance is normally prepared, rather than the extemporized chat of the dancehall dee jay. In musical setting, the dub poet usually appears on stage with a band performing music specifically written to accompany each poem, rather than simply perform over the top of dub plates, or riddims, in the dancehall fashion. Musicality is built into dub poems, yet, dub poets generally perform without backing music, delivering chanted speech with pronounced rhythmic accentuation and dramatic stylization of gesture.

Paul's technique enabled him to listen to the tracks he had already taped and record new parts in time alongside them. Multitrack recording was immediately taken up in a limited way by Ampex, who soon produced a commercial 3-track recorder. These proved extremely useful for popular music since they enabled backing music to be recorded on two tracks (either to allow the overdubbing of separate parts or to create a full stereo backing track) while the third track was reserved for the lead vocalist. Three-track recorders remained in widespread commercial use until the mid-1960s and much famous pop recordings — including many of Phil Spector's so-called "Wall of Sound" productions and early Motown hits — were taped on Ampex 3-track recorders. Engineer Tom Dowd was among the first to use the multitrack recording for popular music production while working for Atlantic Records during the 1950s.

In June 2006, Adams and Ferguson released the album Louisville Sluggers (with Ardolino on drums, Pete Toigo on bass and other supporting musicians), and this album's lineup performed some live shows in the U.S. and Japan as "The Terry Adams - Steve Ferguson Quartet" and "Rock & Roll Summit Meeting." Also in September 2006 came the release of a SpongeBob SquarePants album, The Best Day Ever, which included backing music by all four NRBQ members, as well as Anderson. The album, a collection of '60s-influenced pop/rock produced by Andy Paley, and co-written by Paley and the voice of SpongeBob, Tom Kenny, also included such musical luminaries as Brian Wilson, Tommy Ramone, James Burton, Flaco Jiménez and Philadelphia DJ Jerry "The Geator" Blavat. At some point in November 2007, Adams formed "The Terry Adams Rock & Roll Quartet" with Scott Ligon on guitar and vocals, Pete Donnelly (of The Figgs) on bass and Conrad Choucroun and Ardolino on drums.

"Spout, handle, lid of metal, What's inside the Singing Kettle?" was created by Fisher just before the BBC came to visit the group perform in Dunfermline in 1988, as they believed they needed something for the BBC. The rhyme has been used in every show for selected songs on the playlist, however there have been exceptions. One exception was in the 1991 Christmas Cracker Show for the BBC, where song clues were in giant crackers (with a kettle shaped card attached bearing a riddle with clues to what is inside) and this sentence was chanted by Fisher and Trezise over the Singing Kettle rhyme's backing music (where the children join in is denoted in bold): "Well, there's only one way for us to find out, so as loud as you can... everyone shout... crack the cracker!" However the original rhyme was used in part three of backstage commentary where Trezise, Fisher and Coupland were retrieving their Christmas presents from Father Christmas, which were placed inside a kettle.

In 1986 Andrews formed a retro-1950s Americana style "beatbox rock'n'roll"/rockabilly band called Westworld, with the singer Elizabeth Westwood and the guitarist/drummer Nick Burton. It had an early hit with its debut single "Sonic Boom Boy", which reached No. 11 in the UK Singles Chart in February 1987, which was subsequently commercially used as a backing music track by Sony for one of its television product advertising campaigns. Between 1986-1990 the band performed as a trio utilizing a drum machine and sequencers with two guitarists, Andrews (lead), Burton (rhythm), fronted by Westwood as the singer, and commercially released in the United Kingdom via R.C.A. six singles, five of which entered the top 80 of the UK Singles Chart: Sonic Boom Boy (1987), Ba-Na-Na-Bam-Boo (1987), Where the Action Is (1987), Silvermac (1987), and Everything Good is Bad (1988). A long-player entitled 'Where the Action Is' reached No. 49 in the UK Albums Chart in September 1987.

These proved extremely useful for popular music, since they enabled backing music to be recorded on two tracks (either to allow the overdubbing of separate parts, or to create a full stereo backing track) while the third track was reserved for the lead vocalist. Three-track recorders remained in widespread commercial use until the mid-1960s and many famous pop recordings – including many of Phil Spector's so-called "Wall of Sound" productions and early Motown hits – were taped on 3-track recorders. The next evolution was 4-track recording, which was the studio standard through the mid 1960s. Many of the most famous recordings by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones were recorded on 4-track, and the engineers at London's Abbey Road Studios became particularly adept at the technique called "reduction mixes" in the UK and "bouncing down" in the United States, in which multiple tracks were recorded onto one 4-track machine and then mixed together and transferred (bounced down) to one track of a second 4-track machine.

The Beatles with Tony Sheridan and Their Guests was an American album featuring "Cry for a Shadow", a track recorded by the Beatles in Hamburg in 1961, with five tracks recorded in Hamburg in 1961 in which the Beatles provided backing music for vocalist Tony Sheridan, some of which had been released in Germany on the album My Bonnie under the name "Tony Sheridan and the Beat Brothers".The name "Beatles" had reportedly been avoided as it sounded too like , Low German for "penises"; ; Packaged in an attempt to capitalize on The Beatles' success, the record was only moderately successful, as the album peaked at only No. 68 on the Billboard album chart. It was released by MGM Records in both mono (catalogue number E-4215) and rechanneled stereo (SE-4215.) MGM augmented the six Sheridan/Beatles tracks with six instrumental tracks by Danny Davis and the Titans, a group of New York session musicians built around guitarist Bill Mure. The Titans also included Don Lomond on drums, Dick Hickson on bass trombone, and Milt "the Judge" Hinton on bass.

Unlike traditional video and animation software applications that rely on a timeline or keyframes, Adobe Spark Video presents a unique, simplified narration-based animation model: users read a line of their story to their device (pressing and holding an on-screen button as if using a walkie talkie), choose a visual (e.g., photo, icon, or text), and repeat these steps for each line ("page") of their story to create a complete animated, narrated video. Spark Video edits users' voices, adds backing music, and then automatically generates animated motion graphics synchronizing the narration and corresponding visuals, dynamically adjusting the length of animations to smoothly align with each line of the story. It includes several dozen motion graphics themes that apply custom typography, color palettes, and digital effects and animation designed using Adobe After Effects, such as motion blur, drop shadows, zooming and panning, 3D, camera motion, textures, and animated masks. The software claims to allow non- professionals to create animated narration-driven short videos “in minutes.” Videos can be shared via a custom web page, email, SMS, Facebook, Twitter, or exported as H.264 video files.

In 1978, following the success of his previous lyrics for Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Sinfield was asked by ELP to produce lyrics for their album Love Beach, now regarded by many (including Sinfield himself) to be the weakest of all ELP's albums. In 1978 he also narrated Robert Sheckley's In a Land of Clear Colours, an audio sci-fi story released the following year on a limited edition of 1000 vinyl records. The backing music for the story was provided by Brian Eno, with whom Sinfield had previously worked while producing Roxy Music. By the time he returned to London in 1980, with his new Spanish wife (a model and runner-up for Miss Spain), he discovered that progressive rock music was no longer in demand, and that punk had emerged in the UK. Sinfield also wrote the lyrics, in 1978–1980, for the English versions of Alla fiera dell'est (Highdown Fair) and La pulce d'acqua (Fables and Fantasies), by Italian singer-songwriter Angelo Branduardi and, in 1981–1983, for "It's Your Dream" (Nikka Costa), "My First Love", "I Believe in Fairy Tales", and "Trick or Treat" (Fairy Tales), by the American child singer Nikka Costa.
