Finally they finished 9th. They led the league again from the 3rd to 8th round in the 2010 season. Spartak has also been known as "Automobilist" (in 1969–1972) and "Elbrus" (in 1976). In 2011/12 season the team finished 16th and was relegated to First division.

In 1983, he began his career with the Metallurg Chelyabinsk in the Soviet Championship League. From 1986-1989, he played Automobilist Sverdlovsk. He then played for the Traktor Chelyabinsk and Mechel Chelyabinsk in the Russian Superleague. He retired in 2004 after two seasons in the Vysshaya Liga, the second level of Russian hockey.

Larisa Mikhaylovna Savkina (, born 8 February 1955) is a retired Soviet handball player. She was born in Georgia to Russian parents, but played in Azerbaijan for Automobilist Baku. She was part of the Soviet team that won a gold medal at the 1980 Olympics in Moscow. She played all five matches and scored one goal.

From 1903 until 1908 Levitt wrote a motoring column for The Graphic, an illustrated weekly newspaper, a series that formed the basis of The Woman and the Car. Levitt's handbook was not the first targeted at women motorists – English writer Eliza Davis Aria had published Woman and the Motorcar: Being the Autobiography of an Automobilist in 1906 for instance – but it was the most widely circulated of its day.

Oleg Vladimirovich Antonenko () (born 1 July 1971 in Minsk, Byelorussian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Belarusian professional former ice hockey left wing. Antonenko began playing professional in 1988 with Dynamo Minsk of the Soviet League. He has also played for Severstal, Nizhnekamsk Neftekhimik, Ak Bars Kazan, Vsetin, Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, Metallurg Novokuznetsk, HC MVD, and Yekaterinburg Automobilist. Antonenko was selected for the Belarus national men's ice hockey team in the 2002 Winter Olympics and the 2010 Winter Olympics.

The Canadian Motor was a Canadian electric car manufactured from 1900 until 1902. Billed as being "ideal for any first-class automobilist to drive", the cars could travel up to 45 miles on one change of their batteries. Although located in Toronto, the concern which built Canadian Motors was English-owned; models were derived from the first electrics manufactured in Canada, designed from 1893 by W. J. Still. Still designed a gasoline-powered car as well, a 5 hp model built in 1898.

Hermine Dudley (née Jahns; born 1890) was an American woman who, in 1909 at age 19, accompanied Alice Huyler Ramsey when she became the first woman to drive across the United States. She later married Pendleton Dudley and was the mother of the choreographer Jane Dudley. The 1995 juvenile historical fiction book Coast to Coast with Alice is told in her voice.

In 2016, Kozitsyn became the president of KHL hockey club Automobilist. He has since announced plans to build a 15,000 person arena in Ekaterinburg. He is president of the charity Children of Russia and of the UMMC basketball club, an honorary freeman of the town of Verkhnyaya Pyshma and the vice president of Sambo, a Russian martial arts federation. In 1999 the president of the Russian Federation awarded Kozitzyn the Order of Friendship in recognition of his contributions to the development of the metallurgical and mining industry in Russia.

Hubert Le Blon (21 March 1874 – 2 April 1910) was a French automobilist and pioneer aviator. He drove a steam-powered Gardner-Serpollet in the early 1900s, and then switched to Hotchkiss for both the world's first Grand Prix at Le Mans in France and the inaugural Targa Florio in Sicily. At the Vanderbilt Cup races on Long Island he competed for the USA driving a ThomasVanderbilt Cup - profile of Hubert Le Blon Within weeks of setting a new aviation speed record in Egypt he died during an exhibition flight at San Sebastián, Spain. His first aircraft design, the "Humber monoplane (Le Blon type)", was displayed at the Olympia Aero Exhibition in 1910.

In 1910, he became a city councillor and in 1912, he became the head of the local Chamber of Trade and Crafts. The same year he ceased his professional activities and traveled across Europe, before he returned and organized the food supply of Zagreb during World War I. Heinzel was also an early automobilist, who along with Ferdinand Budicki drove the first car in Zagreb, and was one of the founders of the Croatian automobile club in 1906. He participated in many early car races, including winning the first race for the championship of the Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia in 1912. During the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, Heinzel was first elected mayor in 1920 and served until the August 1921, when the city administration was temporarily disbanded.
