When Mikhail Fyodorovich wished to see clocks on the Spassky Tower with more difficult mechanics as before, Galloway agreed and, because of the clocks' placement, also recommended to overbuild a high tower with a thatched roof over the gates, which was done from 1624 to 1625. When the work was finished and the bells controlled the clocks' time, Galloway received on 29 January 1626 from the Tsar and His father, Patriarch Philaret Nikitich, salary of one silver cube, 10 arshin scarlet satin, 10 arshin azure damask, 5 arshin amber-coloured taffeta, 4 arshin raspberry-coloured stuff, forty sables for 41 rubles, forty martens for 12 rubles; altogether cost about 100 rubles. Ahmed Agdamski, whose nice voice and fine constitution helped him in creation female roles, was one of them. In 1668 the clocks underwent a refit to "play music" on the hour, at sunrise, and at sunset, using special mechanisms. The 24-hour dial was numbered using Cyrillic numerals. The characters were about tall (one arshin), cast in brass and covered with gold leaf. Leila Farrukh gizi Shikhlinskaya (Azerbaijan Leyla Fәrrux qızı Şıxlinskaya, born June 12, 1947) is an Azerbaijani and Soviet actress, choreographer- teacher and professor. She earned a doctorate in art history, was awarded People's Artist of Azerbaijan, was a member of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR and founder of the Leila Shikhlinskaya private clinic in Baku. She starred in such films as Arshin Mal Alan (1965, Gulchohra), The Day Passed (1971, Esmer) and Dede Gorgud (1975, Banu-Cicek).

In the same time, the Ottoman government was obliged to provide Zhelyazkov with machines and another building, while Zhelyazkov's obligations included supplying wool, furnishing the factory, hiring and paying to workers and selling the produced cloth for the price of 22 groschen per arshin. Program for the premiere of Husband and Wife Husband and Wife () is a musical comedy in three acts with music and libretto written by Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov, and an early example of the genre in Azerbaijan. It is the first of Hajibeyov's trilogy of three musical comedies, which also includes If Not That One, Then This One and Arshin mal alan. The operetta's themes centre on the family and everyday life, oppression in the family and Azerbaijani woman in society. The premiere was held on May 24, 1910, in Baku, in the theatre-circus of the Nikitin brothers.

History of professional musical theatre of Azerbaijan was originated since that time. Initially, repertoire of Azerbaijani Musical Theatre consisted of works by U.Hajibeyov, who created “Leyli and Majnun”, “Shaikh Sanan”, “Rostam and Sohrab” “Shah Abbas and Khurshid Banu” operas, and also such musical comedies as “Husband and wife”, “If Not That One, Then This One” and “Arshin mal alan” musical comedies in 1908-1913. One of the main tasks of the Armenian Organization was to solve the problems of assistance to the needy members, such as the elderly, the poor, the orphans and generally all those who needed one or another kind of help in co-operation with Ladies Aid Group. The Board organized social events, staged national and literary plays, which was performed by the youth group in Armenian. On the national and religious holidays, tea parties were also organized. The team of the University Student Free Business Association as a champion of Azerbaijan in 2010 took part in world championships in the US in 2010 and in Malaysia in 2011. Play which was set by the University of the Operetta's students, "Arshin Mal Alan" was successfully shown in Novosibirsk (Russia), in Erzurum, Samsun, Kars, Ardahan, the Black Sea Technical University (Turkey), in Akhaltekhinsky University (Georgia). The University football team, becoming in 2008 and 2010 the country's champion among university teams, represented our country in Ukraine and Poland.

In April 2015 she performed another solo concert at the Heydar Aliyev Sarayi in Baku entitled Bir bahar akhshami. In 2015 Fidan Hajiyeva was given the rank of the lieutenant of Head Department of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of the Azerbaijan, again undertaking patriotic concert programs for internal soldiers of the Ministry. In 2015, Fidan played the leading role of Gulchokhra in the operetta Arshin Mal Alan by Azerbaijan's great composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov for the first time, bringing new breath to the role by her high professionalism and magnificent ability. In 2016 Fidan realized her dream of many years by opening her own Music Centre to share her experience of all types of music to a body of students both young and old.

After completing her education, she lived in Saint Petersburg for a while and later worked for Azerbaijan State Opera and Ballet Theatre in 1919-1934. She was a director of a small opera course functioning under Opera Theater in 1935.
