Daniel Haskel was ordained over the Trinitarian society on April 10, 1810, where the Rev. Samuel Clark was ordained over the Unitarian Society on April 19 of that year. The laying of the cornerstone of the Unitarian church occurred around the 1st of May in 1816, with the remainder of the construction taking about seven months to complete at an approximate cost of $23,000, including the clock, bell, and organ (which was transported from Boston by sleigh). In December of that year, the pews of the lower floor were sold "for upwards of $21,000". The Unitarian Society appointed E.T. Englesby as the superintendent to officiate the completion of the building.

TMCCA have also contributed in computerisation of MCCH out patient dept, beautification of the campus (by sponsoring planting of trees in MCCH), co sponsoring academic meetings and art festivals, co-sponsoring the 31st Inter- medical youth festival, felicitating our retiring teachers, hosting a web Site useful for the institution, supporting various academic activities of the students, reprographic services for PGs, departments administration, supporting water supply scheme of the college campus, supporting back ground work in IMC inspections, silver jubilee celebrations, working as a catalyst in various situations where administrative bottle necks affects the development of the alma mater and providing financial support for students. The Thrissur Medical College Alumni Association built and donated an Academic Complex in the year 2009, at an approximate cost of Rs. 16 million. The complex consists of one Convocation Hall of 1000 seating capacity, three Seminar Halls of 200 seats, an Electronic Library and a two Food Courts.

By 1959, major airlines had introduced jets, which significantly reduced flight time and increased flight cruising safety. At the start of operations, the airport had only one runway (8/26), the old control tower on top of the hotel, 3 terminals and a parking lot for 200 cars. During the beginning of the 60s, several expansion and improvement projects began, starting with the runway extending from 7,800 to 10,000 feet in length. On February 18, 1985, the Governor of Puerto Rico, Rafael Hernández Colón, converted to law the project to Senate Number 1, officially designating the international airport under the name of Luis Muñoz Marín, in honor of the first governor of Puerto Rico elected by the people.

Republic of India shares a boundary (LAC) of length 4,057 km with People's Republic of China.The two countries still have not resolved their disagreement about where exactly the border lies; specially over two regions – Aksai Chin and Arunachal Pradesh. Intrusion of troops of PLA into Indian territory, construction of watch tower close to the mutually-accepted "border patrolling line" near Burtse, "standardisation" of the names of six towns in Arunachal Pradesh (China claims that Arunachal Pradesh is integral part of china) enhanced the tension. In addition, China has developed rail network and five fully operational airbases in Tibet Autonomous Region. Key airfields include those at Hoping, Pangta and Kong Ka. In Tibet and Yunan, roads are extended over 58,000 km (in 2010) up to the border, at an approximate cost of about $325 billion. As a result of all these buildout of infrastructures, China can mobilize 30 divisions (each with over 15,000 soldiers) aside heading to the LAC within 48 hours. Moreover, about 300,011 PLA troops and six Rapid Reaction Forces are placed at Chengdu. To reinforce defensive power across the border in Arunachal Pradesh, Indian army raised two new infantry divisions (1,260 officers and 35,000 soldiers) at Likapani and Missamari (Assam) in 2009-2010.
