In 1964, she built a very expensive house in Kokomlemle, furnished fully with air condition and rented it to the Nkrumah Government to be used as the official residence of Russians officials until Nkrumah was overthrown in the 1966 coup d'état After Nkrumah was overthrown, Agnes was sent to an illegal custody by orders from Lieutenant Arthur. She was forced outside her home by more than 50 armed soldiers in the middle of the night.

Significant aspects include wide central corridors, open courtyards, the movable steel office partitions, the acoustically treated ceilings, a floor reserved for mechanical equipment, and fireproofing. Ickes had air conditioning installed in his office in the Old Interior Building and insisted that central air condition be included throughout the building so that all employees could enjoy it, the first such system in a large government building. Melding aspects of practicality and aesthetics, the Main Interior Building became "one of the most functional and innovative government office structures in Washington" in the 1930s. Ickes reported in a Cabinet meeting that the Interior Building cost 10 to 15 percent less to operate than the buildings in the Federal Triangle even with air conditioning, and cost less per square foot.

At the time, the Corsar and Quantum sedans shared the same front grille design, featuring four squared headlight units (two beams for the right and left sides with amber colored rectangular emergency indicators below each) rather than the Santana's grille design. Regarding equipment, only one trim level was available, which included: 13” alloy wheels, 185/70 tires, velour upholstery (gray or blue coloured starting in 1985), rear seat headrests, AM/FM stereo cassette Radio with 4 speakers, tachometer, power steering, anti-theft alarm. Air condition was available as an option, as well as 4-speed manual transmission or 3-speed automatic gearboxes. The following colours were available for 1984: Mars Red, Alpine White, Jade Green Metallic, Cosmos Silver Metallic and Graphite Metallic.

The Burj Khalifa actually takes in the cooler, cleaner air from the top floors and uses it to air condition the building. Jeddah Tower will be oriented such that no façade directly faces the sun; it will also use the condensate water from the air conditioning system for irrigation and other purposes throughout the building. To overcome elevator issues, the tower will use its large number of efficient elevators as well as its three sky lobbies, which allows transfers to be made between elevators serving a specific area with no elevator being overburdened. Much was learned from Burj Khalifa that helped with the design of Jeddah Tower not only structurally, but in methods for designing practical mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, as well as adhering to local regulations and international building codes.

Between 1966–1970, Levy made four films under Uri Zohar together with Gavri Banai and Yisrael Poliakov: Moishe Ventilator (1966) (, also 'Moishe Air-Condition'), a parody featuring Yaakov Bodo, Shaike Ophir, and Uri Zohar about a frugal private whose money-saving ideas include cutting maps in the operation room; HaShehuna Shelanu (1968) (, lit. 'Our Neighborhood', also 'Fish, Football, and Girls'), a bourekas film with Shaike Ophir, Gabi Amrani, Yona Atari, Tsippi Shavit, and Gadi Yagil among others; Kol Mamzer Melekh (1968) (, lit. 'Every Bastard is King') with Yehoram Gaon as a chatty driver who gets entangled in the Six Day War and ends up stopping an Egyptian armored division by himself; and Hitromamut (1970) (, also 'Takeoff'), which depicted three married men who fulfil a sexual fantasy but quickly turn to envious and guilty feelings. Hitromamut, which included Josie Katz and was noted for break-through methods in low-budget production and for being filmed in 16 mm and then enlarged to 35 mm.

The VIP, Sponsor hospitality and media areas are situated in the west stand at the park side of the stadium. A multifunctional use is designated and contains different events in the stadium bowl as well as the permanent use of the restaurants, cafeterias and kiosks around. The compact design of the main stand building, the shadowing of internal areas by the extended roof (reduced air condition/passive ventilation) joined by natural daylight due to the translucent roof cover, use of grey water (water conservation/rainwater; 50%+ reduction of potable water use), permanent local gas cogeneration (usually 30% higher energy efficiency than general power grid) and roof integrated solar panels not only reduce the energy necessity of the stadium but contain also the chance for the stadium operator to supply the neighbourhood with excessive power. Furthermore, according to the building sustainability long-life recyclable materials produced with a minimized energy input are applied as far as possible.

The wagon body shared the roof sheet metal with the Outback model that had raised metal "humps" under the roof rails, unlike the Japanese and European wagons that had a sleeker roof. Another difference from other overseas markets was that both sedans and wagons had longer front and rear bumpers, designed to meet the Canadian 5-mph bumper specification. For 2006, the regular GT was dropped, and the 2.5i Special Edition was added into the line up. The manual transmission was also discontinued for the station wagon. Priced between the base and the Limited models, the 2.5i Special Edition came with a power moonroof and power driver seat, while the 2.5i Limited also came with leather interior, power front passenger seat, and climate control automatic air condition. The high-performance Subaru Legacy 2.5GT arrived as a 500-unit limited edition model for the 2006 model year, and became a regular model for the next following years.

In 1984 Toyota Motor, Hino Motor, and Hotai Motor established of Kuozui Motors, and quickly build up the company to become the largest automobile manufacturer in Taiwan. Kuozui currently operates two plants and have a total capacity in excess of 200,000 vehicle annual and is one of the few Toyota factories with the capability to build hybrid vehicles. In the same year, the appliance trading division, which distribute General Electric appliances was spin off into Hotai Development Co.. In 1989 Hotai Development formed a joint venture with Japan's largest electronic retailing, Daiichi Denki, to establish Taiichi Electronic and become the largest appliance and electronic retaining chain in Taiwan. In 1992, Hotai Development signed the distribution right of Daikin Air Conditions and over the next twenty years established the company to be the largest air condition company in Taiwan. Today, the founder Leih-ho Huang was also called the “Father of the Modern Economy” in Taiwan for his contribution and involvement in various aspects of business directly connected to everyday life.

The building also has banking facilities for efficient business transactions; food court with outdoor garden cafe; a business centre to complement corporate operations; and a roofdeck helipad for alternate transport access and emergency evacuation. Other amenities include a 100% standby generators, lightning protection and grounding systems, structured cabling system for high-speed transmission of data, video and voice communications, provision for fibre optic telecommunications system, advanced building management system, CCTV monitoring at strategic locations controlled at the central command station on a 24-hour basis, fire alarm and automatic fire sprinkler systems, dual water supply with water treatment facility, underground and overhead water reservoir, 2 individually controlled Air Handling Units per floor with allotted air condition load for after-office use, a communications tower, voice and smoke evacuation systems and a gondola system for building exterior maintenance. The building is equipped with 17 high-speed tower lifts in 3 zones lift-group to ensure minimum waiting time, 4 shuttle lifts for parking and amenity floors and 1 service elevator for all floors. The building's parking facilities have a secure and integrated multi- level design with paging system and a drivers’ lounge.
