A Common Effluent Treatment facility of one million litre per day capacity is established to process all the sewage and effluents let out from units. Zone units are required to send all their sewage and effluent to this treatment plant. Units are encouraged to undergo ISO 14000 certification. There is a warehouse admeasuring an area of 24000 sq.ft.

D.A.V Public School, Nerul was initiated from a three-room bungalow in September 1997. With 463 admissions confirmed and with a staff strength of 23 teachers and other staff the school formally commenced in June 1998 from a rented school building at Sector-4, Nerul. Meanwhile, a school plot admeasuring 2.5 acres of land including 1.5 acres for the school playground was acquired from the City Industrial Development Corporation at a cost of Rs. 19,36,162. (Nineteen lakhs thirty six thousand one hundred and sixty two) at Plot No. 34, Sector-48, Seawoods, Nerul.

In an area admeasuring 2,401,550 sq. metres, living in perfect harmony is a population of approximately 7,144 Cumbarjuemkars; out of which 85 per cent are Hindus and the rest Catholics; all peacefully settled in Talapwada, Surchem Bhat (which got its name from the whispering palms near the river), Golwada, Takwada, Khadap Wada, Rambhuvan Wada, Mollo wada, Gavant and Thapan wada. According to historian Vinayak Narayan Shenvi Dhume, in 1770, Cumbarjua was made up of 486 houses (400 Hindus + 86 Catholics). The Hindu families comprised Goud Saraswat caste of Smarth and Vaishnau, Daivajnas, blacksmiths, carpenters, Kunbis, Gaudas, potters, washermen, fishermen and cobblers.

A major step towards the fulfillment of the third objective, of setting up a health care facility, by the Society, was taken in 2001. On 22 April 2001, the foundation stone for a chapel, forming part of the medical centre, was laid by Job Mar Philoxenos, acting Metropolitan of Delhi Diocese, on a plot of land admeasuring 1500 square yards, and costing Rs. 24.51 lakhs, in Aya Nagar. Within a year, on 25 April 2002, this Chapel, named after St. George, was consecrated by Job Mar Philoxenos. The work on the portion pertaining to the first phase of the medical centre was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt.

In 2006, the Government of Maharashtra identified land of approximately forest land admeasuring 1914 Ha for establishing the project adjacent to the Gorewada Lake and at 8 km from the heart of Nagpur. The project to create an International Standard Zoo at Gorewada, Nagpur was entrusted to the Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra, Nagpur, Maharastra State, India a wholly owned company of the Government of Maharashtra (GoM). The Safari Park is being developed on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (“DBFOT”) basis in public private partnership (“PPP”) mode. To make the Zoo park financially viable, the State transferred additional 26 Ha Non-Forest Land for commercial utilization.

While the church building was under the final stage of construction, in 1967 itself a payment of Rs.10,141.53 was made to the DDA towards premium for the allotment of a plot of land for the school admeasuring 9817 square yards, in which the foundation stone of the school was laid on 28 April 1968 by Mathews Mar Athanasios, the Metropolitan. In acknowledgement of a donation of Rs.10,000 from the estate of the late Fr. V.C. George, the school was declared as being run in his memory. The setting up of the school was in fulfilment of the second objective of the Society, after the place of worship was built. St. Paul's School, inaugurated in July 1968, has grown into a full-fledged Senior Secondary School for all students regardless of caste, creed or financial status or other extraneous considerations.
