The Harbour Engineering Department is constructing the aquarium at the eastern side of the beach on behalf of Kollam Municipal Corporation. In 2011, Disney announced a major expansion to the park, Pandora - The World of Avatar, a joint venture with director James Cameron and his production company, Lightstorm Entertainment, with the intention of transforming Animal Kingdom into a full-day operation with added attraction capacity and nighttime experiences. Construction on the area began on January 10, 2014, and the land opened to the public on May 27, 2017.

The route from Martindale to the summit follows a well engineered stalkers path which zig-zags up the fell and avoids any difficulties by-passing the crags of Nab End just below the summit. Most walkers who reach the summit of The Nab do not risk the wrath of the Dalemain Estate and avoid Martindale altogether, attaining the highest point by approaching and leaving along the boggy ridge which links with the neighbouring fell of Rest Dodd. This route has the added attraction of seeing the herds of Red deer on the open fell. The best starting point for this uncontroversial ascent of The Nab is Hartsop village in Patterdale, just off the A592 main road, where there is a large car park; this circular walk also takes in the 'Wainwright fells' of Brock Crags, Rest Dodd and Angletarn Pikes before descending back to Hartsop.

Originally billed as 'a special added attraction' for July 30, 1960 featuring Sun Ra and his 'recording band', Alton Abraham celebrated the engagements by acquiring for the band the entire wardrobe from a local opera company - heavily stocked with capes, puffed sleeves and doublets - that had been discarded after performing William Tell;The Birmingham and Chicago Years, Campbell from here on in, the whole band started to dress for 'Space'.Space is the Place, John Szwed, Mojo, 2000. p172 The engagement, lasting until early 1961, 'has justly become legendary'.

Sin Escape Con Correas (Spanish for "No Escape with Straps") was a major professional wrestling event produced and scripted by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG), which took place on July 9, 2014, in Arena Naucalpan, Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico, IWRG's home arena. IWRG has previously promoted shows using variations of the name Sin Escape such as La Guerra sin Escape ("The War with no escape") but this event was not turned into a regular themed event. The name of the event referred to the special main event, a six-man tag team match between the team of Eterno, Fuerza Guerrera, Canis Lupus and the team of Dr. Cerebro, Veneno and Diva Salvaje. As a special added attraction the match was a Lumberjack with leather straps match where other IWRG wrestlers were gathered around the ring, each with a leather strap they were allowed to use on the wrestlers in the match if they left the ring.

Beatty's Parlor Organ, 1882 Harmoniums reached the height of their popularity in the West in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They were especially popular in small churches and chapels where a pipe organ would be too large or expensive; in the funeral-in-absentia scene from Mark Twain's The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, the protagonist narrates that the church procured a "melodeum" (a conflation, likely intended by Twain for satirical effect, of the names "melodeon" and "harmonium") for the occasion. Harmoniums generally weigh less than similar sized pianos and are not easily damaged in transport, thus they were also popular throughout the colonies of the European powers in this period not only because it was easier to ship the instrument out to where it was needed, but it was also easier to transport overland in areas where good-quality roads and railways may have been non-existent. An added attraction of the harmonium in tropical regions was that the instrument held its tune regardless of heat and humidity, unlike the piano.

Ina Anita Carter (March 31, 1933 – July 29, 1999), the youngest daughter of Ezra and Mother Maybelle Carter, was an American singer who experimented with several different types of music and played upright bass and guitar with her sisters Helen Carter and June Carter Cash and mother Maybelle Carter as The Carter Sisters and Mother Maybelle. Maybelle and her three daughters joined WSM and the Grand Ole Opry radio show in 1950 (Anita was 17 years old at the time), The Carter Sisters and Mother Maybelle were bringing in more money to WSM from their "personals" or "shows" in the early to mid 50's filling every venue that they played with droves of people outside just to hear their show or hear June make everyone laugh. WSM radio received 15% of the door and they brought in more money than any other artists for a period in the early to mid 50's. An upcoming young singer, Elvis Presley, was an added attraction when he was added to the Opry shows in 1954 after bombing at the Grand Ole Opry on October 2, 1954.

Groudle Glen Railway (2009) Since the nationalisation of the railway secured its future the main thrust of the group has been the restoration of the Groudle Glen Railway commencing in 1982 and the line continues today. Since starting the project, at which time the line had been reduced to a footpath, the line has been relaid to its full length for the first time since 1939 which was officially opened in 1992, seen the return of the original steam locomotive Sea Lion to service in 1987, the erection of various replica station buildings starting with the station canopy in 1993, and the continuing improvement of the line as one of the island's tourist attractions; this has included the added attraction of visiting steam locomotives, gala days in conjunction with Isle of Man Heritage Railways and popular off-season events such as Santa Trains and Bunny Trains each Easter weekend. In more recent times there have also been Jester Express days, promotions in connection with Father's Day and operations on New Year's Day were introduced in 2011. Additionally, Driver Experience Days are also offered where, for a fee, members of the public may spend the day on the footplate of a steam locomotive and drive trains.
