The first day of the Global Energy Summit with the subheading New Energy Sources took place on September 18, 2017, in Lyon, France, at the Euronews headquarters.
In December 2017 the Daily Mail published a front-page story entitled "Another human rights fiasco!", with the subheading "Iraqi 'caught red-handed with bomb' wins £33,000 – because our soldiers kept him in custody for too long". The story related to a judge's decision to award money to Abd Ali Hameed al-Waheed after he had been unlawfully imprisoned. The headline was printed despite the fact that during the trial itself the judge concluded that claims that al-Waheed had been caught with a bomb were "pure fiction".
Dürrenmatt took some rather great liberties in describing the historical story - in reality, Romulus Augustulus was just a child who spent only a few months in power and depended heavily upon his father, Orestes. Poultry-rearing was a habit not of Romulus, but of an earlier emperor, Honorius. Odoacer and Theoderic, on the other hand, were not family but rather leaders of two quarreling Germanic tribes. Dürrenmatt of course did not seek historical accuracy and even gave the play the following subheading: “Ungeschichtliche historische Komödie” (Unhistorical historical comedy).

The UPCI emphasizes that salvation is accomplished by grace through faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). This faith is coupled with obedience to his command to be "born of water and of the Spirit" (John 3:5). Even though no amount of obedience to laws saves anyone (Ephesians 2:8–9, Titus 3:5), the Scriptures also state that those who are saved have been created in order to do good works (Ephesians 2:10).See Essential Doctrines of the Bible, "New Testament Salvation", subheading "Salvation by grace through faith", Word Aflame Press, 1979.
Vanity Fair received largely negative reviews in 1932 from some of the film industry's leading trade publications. The critic for Variety could not recommend the film, finding its acting "competent" but the overall production poorly scripted and its direction deficient: The Film Daily was even more critical of the film than Variety. The subheading of its review summarized the film as being a "Dull Drama" and an "Uninteresting Adaptation of Classic Novel That Falls Flat"."'Vanity Fair'", review, The Film Daily (New York, N.Y.), May 8, 1932, page 10.
Wall conducted her most impactful missionary work at the Katsina Leper Settlement. She acted as a doctor for hundreds of adults and children with leprosy, treating them with medicine, recording their changing conditions daily, and providing them with emotional and spiritual support. She learned more about the science behind leprosy and novel treatment approaches. In addition, Wall created the aforementioned (see: Service subheading) Children's Welfare Center so that the babies and toddlers of parents with leprosy could live near their parents without risk of contracting the disease and would be taken care of regardless of their parents' health.

If that had been the full extent of it, there would not have been a dispute, for if there were mere assembly without other steps, all agree the imported garments would have been eligible for the duty exemption Haggar claimed.. The Government claimed that the trousers were permapressed in Mexico. This process involved baking, which the Customs Service claimed was a process in addition to assembly, and as such denied Haggar a duty exemption. Haggar claimed the baking was simply part of the assembly process, or, in the words of the controlling statute, an "operation incidental to the assembly process."Subheading 9802.00.
It was broadcast live at the Euronews website, website so that people in 166 countries of the world could see it. Three months only after her wedding with Jordan, the couple separated, with attracted again sensational coverage in the press. Dior-Jordan – as she was calling herself at that time – was disillusioned by her husband's leadership qualities and publicly dismissed him as a "middle-class nobody". The Daily Mirror ran a front-page headline reading, "Nazi Told: 'Marriage is Over'", along with the subheading "You're no Leader, says Françoise". The next day, the paper ran another issue with the headline "Please – I love you says Führer", quoting Jordan as he reportedly begged Dior to "please, please, please come home".
Calculate tournament NRR as the total or average of the individual match NRRs. This would mean all matches have equal weighting, no matter how long they were, (rather than all batted overs across the tournament having equal weighting, and all bowled overs across the tournament having equal weighting). This would remove the criticisms under the 'Tournament NRR calculation' subheading above. For example, the different teams' tournament NRRs would always sum to zero if the total of the individual match NRRs were used, or if the average of the individual match NRRs were used and all teams had played the same number of games.
A government-aligned Islamist newspaper and website, Yeni Akit has published three articles on Robert College since 2017. The first, entitled "Heresy in Robert College" (Turkish: "Robert Koleji'nde Sapkınlık") was an attack on the school's LGBTQ week. Authored by Faruk Arslan, the homophobic article characterized homosexuality as a "disease", with the subheading "the American Robert College joined the choir of heretics representing the disease of homosexuality as a normal human condition." In 2018, Faruk Arslan published another article, entitled "The Headscarf Hate of Robert College" (Turkish: Robert Koleji'nin Başörtü Düşmanlığı), claiming that Islamic headscarfs were banned by the school dress code.

McNally was chagrined; this was not how he had expected things to go. Callaghan was then asked (by a reporter from the Evening Standard) "What is your general approach, in view of the mounting chaos in the country at the moment?" and replied: The next day's edition of The Sun headlined its story "Crisis? What crisis?" with a subheading "Rail, lorry, jobs chaos – and Jim blames Press", condemning Callaghan as being "out of touch" with British society.BBC News – History of the Winter of Discontent While he had never used those exact words, Callaghan's speechwriter Roger Carroll agreed they were an effective paraphrase.
Eventually, Capp would dispense with Abner's introductory panels altogether, and the strip would carry a subheading reminding readers they were now reading Li'l Abner's "ideel," Fearless Fosdick. Occasionally Fosdick's adventures would directly affect what happened to Abner, and the two storylines would artfully converge. The story-within-a-story often ironically paralleled and/or parodied the story itself. Also, by having the comically obtuse Abner "explain" the strip to Daisy Mae, Capp would use Fearless Fosdick to self-reflexively comment upon his own strip, his readers, and the nature of comic strips and "fandom" in general, resulting in an absurd but overall structurally complex and layered satire.
Back from the Grave, Volume 6 (LP) is the sixth installment in the Back from the Grave series of garage rock compilations assembled by Tim Warren of Crypt Records. \- LP Liner notes and cover artwork. It was released in 1986. He convinced Bogucharsky and Shchegolev to become editors of the magazine, and got Nikolay Elpidiforovich Paramonov (1876–1951), owner of the Donskaya Rech publishing house, to publish the magazine. On January 28, 1906, Byloye was reprinted in Saint Petersburg, Russia, following censorship approval, with a monthly edition under the subheading Журналъ пocвященный иcтopiи ocвoбoдитeльнaгo движeнiя (Journal dedicated to the history of the revolutionary movement). In October 1907, by decree of the St. Petersburg gradonachalnik, publication of Byloye was suspended. In March 1909, by decision of the St. Petersburg Trial Chamber, Shchegolev was sentenced to three years of solitary confinement "for distributing works with the deliberate intention of provoking rebellion".
The book had the subheading “The Facts the Papers Leave Out”, seeking to address the large media imbalance against independence in the debate - 21 Scottish or UK newspapers and magazines publicly endorsed a No vote against just one (a weekly) which declared for Yes. It was split into several short chapters, with most of the main chapters ending in a series of questions and answers. The chapters consisted of sourced data and quotations, combined with the author’s analysis. It made both a case that Scotland would be better governed as an independent state, and that Scotland would be financially better off as an independent country.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the United Nations is one of the 'superior authorities' that exist by God's permission, and that it serves a purpose in maintaining order, but do not support it politically and do not consider it to be the means to achieve peace and security. Jehovah's Witnesses also believe that the United Nations is the "image of the wild beast" of Revelation 13:1–18, and the second fulfilment of the "abominable thing that causes desolation" from Matthew 24:15; that it will be the means for the devastation of organized false religion worldwide;"No Calamity Will Befall Us" (Subheading). The Watchtower. november 15, 2001. p. 19.
The term 'sea witch' may be applied to a practitioner of Paganism or Wicca who often uses water when casting spells. In occult usage, the terms 'sea witch' and 'water witch' may be used interchangeably, though the term 'water witch' is also applied specifically to those who dowse for water. In his 1997 book Earth Power, Scott Cunningham refers to water magic(k) as a type of elemental magic(k), given that water is an element found in Pagan and Wiccan practices. Despite their association with water, Cunningham places rain, fog and storm magic(k) under the subheading of natural magic(k) rather than water magic(k).
The cover of issue 256 in 1971 showed Emperor Hirohito visiting Britain with the caption "A nasty nip in the air", and the subheading "Piss off, Bandy Knees". The New Statesman said in 1997 that this was viewed as "rather jolly" at the time, and according to The New Yorker: "Hirohito could not have expected much better, and bore the abuse courteously." In the 1960s and 1970s the magazine mocked the gay rights movement and feminism. The magazine mocked the Gay Liberation Front and gay rights activism as "Poove Power" (popularising the term "poove" as a derogatory insult for gay men), and published feminist material under the title "Loony Feminist Nonsense".
Arminianism teaches that salvation is conditioned on faith, therefore perseverance of the saints is also conditioned. The traditional Calvinist doctrine of perseverance is articulated in the Canons of Dort (chapter 5), the Westminster Confession of Faith (Chapter XVII), the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith (Chapter 17), and may also be found in other Reformed Confessions. Nonetheless, the doctrine is most often mentioned in connection with other salvific schemes and is not a major focus of Reformed systematic theology (for instance, it does not even get a subheading in the three volume Systematic Theology by Hodge). It is, however, seen by many as the necessary consequence of Calvinism and of trusting in the promises of God.
The Far West Village is another sub-neighborhood of Greenwich Village that is bordered on its west by the Hudson River and on its east by Hudson Street. Into the early 20th century, Greenwich Village was distinguished from the upper-class neighborhood of Washington Square—based on the major landmark of Washington Square Park or Empire Ward in the 19th century. Encyclopædia Britannica's 1956 article on "New York (City)" states (under the subheading "Greenwich Village") that the southern border of the Village is Spring Street, reflecting an earlier understanding. Today, Spring Street overlaps with the modern, newer SoHo neighborhood designation, while the modern Encyclopædia Britannica cites the southern border as Houston Street.
Back from the Grave, Volume 2 is the second installment in the Back from the Grave series of garage rock compilations put together by Tim Warren of Crypt Records on LP. It was released in 1983. In keeping with all of the entries in the series, and as indicated in the subheading which reads "16 Garage Punkers," this collection consists of songs which display the rawer and more aggressive side of the genre and are often characterized by the use of fuzztone-distorted guitars and rough vocals. \- LP Liner notes and cover artwork. The set generally excludes psychedelic, folk rock, and pop-influenced material in favor of basic primitive rock and roll.
The track originated from the Smile sessions, and was, for the most part, the last track recorded for the ill-fated album. Marilyn Wilson has recounted that the song was originally written about a baby, with Brian asking her for a bottle of chocolate milk to drink while he wrote and played the song on a piano with its strings taped. According to Brian, The song's title could be abbreviated to 'LSD' as a reference to the drug. This was a titling trend used during the psychedelic era, with other examples being the song "Love Seems Doomed" by the Blues Magoos and The Trip, which had a subheading that read: "A Lovely Sort of Death".
This indicates that the barrow is approximately forty metres long and thirty metres wide at the widest point, some thirty feet high and surrounded by a ditch on all sides. In February 2007 the Wiltshire Archaeological and Natural History Society conducted the first of a series of surveys which revealed considerable detail about West Wood and the surrounding areas, producing evidence covering a range of different time periods including Mesolithic, Neolithic, post Medieval and undated. This report was published on the official WANHS website within a subheading covering the organisation's reports. The report discusses the findings of four seasons worth of field work and includes detailed maps and tables of discoveries found.
In keeping with all of the entries in the series, and as indicated in the subheading which reads "36 Cuts of Utter Snarling Mid-60's Garage Punk," this collection consists of many songs which display the rawer and more aggressive side of the genre and are often characterized by the use of fuzztone-distorted guitars and rough vocals. Accordingly, the set generally excludes psychedelic, folk rock, and pop- influenced material in favor of basic primitive rock and roll. \- CD Liner notes and front cover artwork. The packaging features well-researched liner notes written by Tim Warren which convey basic information about each song and group, such as origin, recording date, and biographical sketches, usually written in a conversational style that includes occasional slang, anecdotes, humorous asides.
Continuum, 2001, pages 195-196. In some traditional Buddhist societies, such as in Myanmar and Thailand, people transition between householder and monk and back to householder with regularity and celebration as in the practice of shinbyu among the Bamar people. In Buckley (2007), a BBC News article describing Burma's monks, the subheading includes: "...even those who do not choose to become a 'career monk' usually enter the orders for short periods of their lives...." In addition, the article's initial source is a BBC Burmese service professional who mentions that during his adult life he himself entered monastic life three times, each time for a few weeks. One of the evolving features of Buddhism in the West is the increasing dissolution of the traditional distinction between monastics and laity.
The regional ITV companies are required to provide local news as part of their franchise agreement, with the main local bulletin at 6pm and regional bulletins located after each national news programme. In addition to this, traditionally ITV companies would provide other regional programming based on current affairs, entertainment or drama. However, apart from a monthly political programme, most non-news regional programming in the English regions was dropped by ITV plc in 2009, although it continues in Wales and the Channel Islands, as well as on STV and UTV & from 2014 ITV Border Scotland. On 14 January 2013, ITV plc regional news programmes titles were discontinued in favour of more generic branding under the ITV News title with the region listed as the subheading.
At Cloncurry, Queensland Holotype by Edward Lear The first depiction of the species was included in a seminal folio by Edward Lear, the subject of his illustration has since been lost and it became recognised as the holotype. The image was published as the thirty sixth lithographic plate in September 1831, without a location or description, in his work Illustrations of the Family of Psittacidae, or Parrots (1830–32) depicting live specimens in English zoological exhibitions and private collections. The name supplied in the caption was Trichoglossus versicolor, with the subheading "Variegated Parrakeet". The source of the specimen, according to Richard Schodde (1997), was incorrectly determined as "Cape York", a location proposed by Gregory Mathews in 1912 and subsequently repeated.
The first chapter of Butterfly: An Erotic Odyssey - Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines by Steven Yang first appeared in the magazine, with the book itself later being blurbed by Asian Fever. Under the subheading "Me Love You Long Time" in the essay "White and Wong: Race, Porn, and the Word Wide Web" by Darrell Y. Hamamoto in Image Ethics in the Digital Age (edited by Larry P. Gross, John Stuart Katz, and Jay Ruby), it's noted that Hustler's Asian Fever was part of a "boomlet in skin magazines in the United States that cater to the Asiaphile," connected to the "White male fetishization of the Yellow female-object" (pages 250-251). "We Love You Long Time" happens to be the tagline on the first of the Asian Fever DVDs.
The last section of the first instalment bore special mention: under the subheading "A Child of Thirteen bought for £5" Stead related the story of Eliza, a purchased victim, whose name he changed to "Lily". Although he vouched "for the absolute accuracy of every fact in the narrative", Stead changed a number of details, and omitted the fact that "Lily's" purchaser was none other than himself. Describing himself as an "investigator" rather than an "informer", and having also promised not to use information obtained against those who provided it, he stated that he would disclose actual names and identifying details only to the two UK Archbishops, one M.P., two members of the House of Lords active in criminal legislation or child protection, and a past director of the CID.

Under the common law of Scotland, the law of treasure trove was and still is a specialized application of the general rule governing bona vacantia ("vacant goods") – that is, objects that are lost, forgotten or abandoned. The rule is quod nullius est fit domini regis: "that which belongs to nobody becomes our Lord the King's [or Queen's]". The Crown in Scotland has a prerogative right to treasure trove for it is one of the regalia minora ("minor things of the king"), that is, property rights which the Crown may exercise as it pleases and which it may alienate (transfer to another party). As the Scottish law of treasure trove on the matter has not changed, it is discussed in the "Present- day legal definitions" section below, under the subheading "Scotland".
The change reflected the programmatic extension of the festival, which by then encompassed a broad spectrum of multimedia art forms such as Internet and Software Art. In 2001, transmediale underwent far-reaching structural changes; further additions to the program and a new venue, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, led to a continuous increase in attendance. transmediale.02 was the first edition to feature an extensive exhibition in which media art could be experienced in a sensuous and physical way. In 2006, the festival's subheading changed from “international media art festival” to “festival for art and digital culture”—a decision reflective of a shift towards a more open approach that would include art, technology, and everyday life in an increasingly digitalized world instead of the previous, narrower focus on media art alone.
They were married in 1714; she died in 1750. After his marriage he studied law, and was a member of the Connecticut legislature from Wethersfield for five sessions, the first in 1717. He was also a tutor in Weathersfield, Connecticut for those Yale college students who for three years from 1716 to 1719 refused to move from Saybrook Point to New Haven, Connecticut; he was one of the leaders in the attempt to make the schismatic college part of Harvard, an offer which Harvard turned down.Warch, Richard, School of the Prophets: Yale College, 1701-1740, Yale University Press, 1973,"Chapter 3 – Declining and Unhappy Circumstances", subheading "Elihu Yale" After Yale college was reunited in New Haven, he remained in Weathersfield, studied divinity with his father, and was ordained a clergyman in 1722.
Xbox 360 Pro console with white wireless controller. The Xbox 360 (sometimes referred to as Pro or Premium and packaged as simply Xbox 360 with the subheading "Go Pro") included all the features of the Xbox 360 Core and included a hybrid composite/component cable with optional optical out instead of the composite AV cable included with the Core. This model also included a detachable hard disk drive (initially 20 GB, while later models had 60 GB) to store downloaded content, provide compatibility with original Xbox games, and store game data. The formal presentation of the concept comes late in the book, under the general framework of new notions of order is physics. After discussing the concepts of undivided wholeness and the implicate and explicate orders, he presents the formal definition under the subheading "The Holomovement and its Aspects". Consistent with his own earlier Causal Interpretation, and more generally with the de Broglie- Schroedinger approach, he posits that a new kind of description would be appropriate for giving primary relevance to the implicate order. Using the hologram as a model, Bohm argues that the implicate order is enfolded within a more generalized wave structure of the universe-in-motion, or what he calls the holomovement: Generalizing, so as to emphasize undivided wholeness, we can say that the holomovement, which is an unbroken and undivided totality, ‘carries’ implicate order.
Announced the 13 June of the same year, on 15 September 2017 Caparezza's seventh album, Prisoner 709, is published. This concept album is greatly different from the previous ones as Salvemini imagines himself as a prisoner of his own mind: this album has been inspired from a crisis and a consequent deep depression born after Salvemini begun suffering tinnitus in 2015, condition around which the album revolves. In this album, as already said, Salvemini talks about being caged inside his own mind and uses this as a way to express himself, his drive, his personal issues and his beliefs - also by comparing himself Michele and himself Caparezza (this is also highlighted by the fact that the "7" and the "9" in the album title are referring to the letters' number respectively of the names "Michele" and "Caparezza"). Every song of this album also has a subheading that tells step by step the various phases of imprisonment and jailbreak.

Giving the news of the stipulation of the Armistice of Cassibile, the issue n. 2 of the 47th year, published on 9 (incorrectly printed as 3) September 1943, was entitled La guerra fascista è finita ("The fascist war is over"), while the subheading said La lotta dei lavoratori continua ("The struggle of workers continues") mocking the Badoglio Proclamation of 25 July (la guerra continua, "The war continues"). Avanti! of 16 March 1944, printed and distributed illegally in the territories of the Italian Social Republic and whose occupied by Nazi Germany, proclaimed: La classe operaia in prima fila nella lotta per l'indipendenza e per la libertà ("The workers' class in the front row in the fight for independence and freedom"), with the sub-header: Lo sciopero generale nell'Italia Settentrionale contro la coscrizione, le deportazioni e le decimazioni ("The general strike in Northern Italy against conscription, deportations and decimations").It is the mass strike of 1º May 1944 which paralysed the industrial production of factories in Milan for an entire week.
4 of the CD-specific series was actually released in 2000, four years after the release of Volume 8 (though the LP version of Volume 4 was released in 1996). In 2015, a totally new re-mastered CD series of Back from the Grave is in the process of being released, which will adhere more closely to the track listings of the LPs, and will bring the series for the first time into multi-medium coherence. Unlike the preceding four volumes in the CD-specific series, the tracks on Volume 8 corresponded almost exactly with the LP, containing all of the songs on the LP (in the same order), but with the addition of several bonus tracks. In keeping with all of the entries in the series, and as indicated in the subheading which reads "Over 30 Cuts of Utter Snarling Mid-60's Garage Punkrock," this collection consists of many songs which display the rawer and more aggressive side of the genre and are often characterized by the use of fuzztone-distorted guitars and rough vocals.
Back from the Grave, Volume 7 is the seventh installment in the Back from the Grave series of garage rock compilations assembled by Tim Warren of Crypt Records and is available on LP and CD. \- LP Liner notes and cover artwork. It was originally released in 1988 as a double-LP containing 34 tracks, and has been newly re-mastered and re-issued in 2015. Though most of the LP's tracks had appeared on volumes 3 and 4 of the Back from the Grave CD-specific sub- series (released between 1996 and 2000), in 2015, it was released on CD with the re-mastered material and closely matches the song content (and album cover artwork) of the original LP (containing all but two of the cuts on the original LP) as part of an effort to bring the LP's and CD's of the series into multi-medium coherence. In keeping with all of the entries in the series, and as indicated in the subheading which reads "Raw Blastin' Mid 60s Punk," this collection generally excludes psychedelic, folk rock, and pop-influenced material in favor of basic primitive rock and roll, usually consisting of songs displaying the rawer and more aggressive side of the genre often characterized by the use of fuzztone-distorted guitars and rough vocals.
