Kent progressed to 66 for 2 at close, with Robert Key (26) and Matthew Walker (22) the not out batsmen. On the second day, Key and Walker proceeded to their centuries. Key top-scored with 164, an innings which gave him a good shout for the No.3 spot in the England national team. When Walker was third man out with the score on 260, it precipitated a minor collapse, and Kent finished the second day on 339 for 6.

While on the run, on April 23, 2017, McIntyre allegedly shot and killed 23-year-old Mark Anthony Saldivar while participating in a robbery outside of a Chick-fil-A in San Antonio, Texas. According to the allegations, McIntyre and two accomplices lured Saldivar into a black SUV to try to steal his photography equipment. Saldivar escaped the SUV and started to shout for help, which led to the SUV accelerating in an attempt to hit him. Saldivar jumped onto the hood of the SUV, kicking the windscreen until McIntyre allegedly left the car and shot him once before driving away.

During the 1972 Angela Davis trial, Maria Elena Graham, one of the three women hostages, testified that Thomas told the gunmen "not to do anything foolish" but was forced to the floor with the others in the courtroom. The Prologue relates a fable in which a leopard becomes caught in a trap. None of the animals will release the creature because they fear she will eat them, until a woman passes by and makes the leopard promise not to hurt her if she frees her. Out of the trap the leopard goes back on her promise and begins hunting the woman, arguing that her brothers built the trap and that killing is part of her nature. Unable to get help from the other animals, the woman eventually encounters the clever hare Tsuro, who tricks the leopard back into the trap, from where she again begins to shout for help.

Johann Sebastian Bach composed the church cantata ' ("Exult in God in every land" or "Shout for joy to God in all lands") 51', in Leipzig. The work is Bach's only church cantata scored for a solo soprano and trumpet. He composed it for general use (ogni tempo), in other words not for a particular date in the church calendar, although he used it for the 15th Sunday after Trinity: the first known performance was on 17 September 1730 in Leipzig. The work may have been composed earlier, possibly for an occasion at the court of Christian, Duke of Saxe-Weissenfels, for whom Bach had composed the Hunting Cantata and the Shepherd Cantata.

The third album Rough Diamonds, which also featured musical and artistic contributions from Lindisfarne's Ray Jackson, and single 'Gentleman Soldier' (both 1975), were both produced by Fairport Convention stalwart Simon Nicol. The latter, which featured John Kirkpatrick on button accordion, was a new arrangement of a traditional song which borrowed the vocal four-part harmony break from 'Twist And Shout' for the introduction, and featured a Scottish accordion reel back to back with a mock-heavy rock guitar solo. On May 11, 1887, he and two of his Duluth teammates, Bill Barnes and Billy Earle, were paddling in a rowboat on the Mississippi River near La Crosse, Wisconsin, and Barron's Island. He had been able to complete his accountancy qualification while interned and founded his own company, later known as Corvin & Co. The Birmingham Gay Village rhinoceros installed on the roof of the Urban Kitchen, officially known as Wynner House The 'Shout for Village Pride' mural was commissioned for the Shout Festival in 2009 and given a "life expectancy" of 5 years after funding was granted by Big City Planning. It was painted on the exterior wall of the City Centre South car park on Hurst Street, directly opposite The Village Bar. In early 2012 the new owners of the car park, Gallan Properties covered the mural by painting the building black. In early 2012 a new piece of public art to replace the mural was commissioned and funded by Southside BID, GB Training Ltd, the Birmingham LGBT and a grant from Birmingham City Council for the improvement of the city centre.

When they know that Gjerta'll steal it, they run for help, but Gjerta traps them in a cage with a remote control, but they shout for help, as the children on the Earth, so their grandparents hear the alarm and come. Stålhenrik opens the cage and they tell them that Gjerta is here and she was dressed up as Hustomten. With the remote control Gjerta traps Stålhenrik with a magnet and fools Supersnällasilversara with showing her a cat who is trapped and when she tries to rescue it, she's trapped in adhesive. Vega, Nova and Stålhenrik sing a stupid song, trying to transform Supersnällasilversara to Supersurasunksara, but she can't be transformed because she's to old, but when Gjerta irritates her and repeats the song, she becomes transformed, but Gjerta stops her with an irritating game and can escape and takes away the ladder when she leaves the cellar.

On March 14, 1473, during a dedication procession, a girl accidentally threw dirty water from the window of the house of one of the wealthiest conversos (the customary way to dispose of it.) The water splashed on an image of the Virgin being carried in procession in honor of a new society (from which conversos had been excluded by Bishop D. Pedro.) A local blacksmith started arousing a rabble against the Jews, who he blamed for the insult, which immediately joined in a fierce shout for revenge.
