The following season, he scored a hat-trick in a 5–1 win at Al-Shorta on 21 May 2005. The 2015 Monarchs topped their qualifying section in the League Cup before seeing off Ipswich in the semi-finals to progress on to defeat Glasgow on aggregate in the Final. They just missed out on the KO Cup to Somerset, however made up for this by securing the Premier League Fours. The 1995 USISL Premier League season was the 1st season of the new "fourth level" of American soccer following the re-organization of the old United States Interregional Soccer League at the end of 1994. The season began in April 1995 and ended in August 1995. Richmond Kickers finished the season as national champions, beating Cocoa Expos 3-1 in the USISL Premier League Championship game. San Francisco All-Blacks United finished with the best regular season record in the league, winning 17 out of their 18 games, suffering just one loss, and finishing with a +42 goal difference.

They won 3x3 Japan Premier League Championship title and became the 2nd best team in the World after losing at the World Tour Final Championship in 2016. In the following year, Rohit Bakshi and Yoshiya Kato together set up a 3x3 Pro Basketball League in India named 3BL, which is recognized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and consists of eighteen teams including international players.
In 2011 Mahaffey was recognized as the Georgia Soccer Girls Select Coach of the year. Mahaffey is known to develop players to play at the highest levels. He brings with him an impressive youth soccer resume to include coaching in the Region 3 Premier League and National League, winning two State Cup Championships, reaching the Regional Semi Finals twice and winning the Region 3 Premier League Championship. Mahaffey was the director of coaching at Coweta Soccer Association and formally the assistant coach for Oglethorpe University Women's Soccer, where he helped lead the team to its best season in school history.
After a long goalless drought, Azmoun scored in Rostov's 3–0 win against Zenit Saint Petersburg on 24 April 2016. He scored a brace in a 3–1 victory over Dynamo Moscow on 12 May 2016, which kept Rostov in second place and in contention for the Russian Premier League championship. On 16 May 2016 with his goal, Rostov defeated Ural 1–0 and clinched at least an UEFA Champions League play–off spot for the 2016–17 season. In April 1979, the Ugandan dictator, Idi Amin, was ousted and, during the unstable period that followed, several players from Simba FC—a team which, at that time, was drawn entirely from serving Army officers—were arrested. To avoid a similar fate, Obua and a number of other soccer players fled to Kenya, where he played for Luo Union. He returned to Uganda in 1980 and rejoined Police FC, but could not regain his form and retired. In 1983, he came out of retirement and joined Villa SC, who had won the Ugandan Premier League championship the previous year.
Despite only making 27 league starts for the Imps, Kenny Dalglish, then manager of Premier League side Blackburn Rovers, saw his promise and signed him as cover for Bobby Mimms for a £250,000 fee in March 1992. Madjid Bougherra (; born 7 October 1982) is a former professional footballer. He was a central defender, who could also play as a midfielder. Bougherra began his professional football career with French club Gueugnon before having spells with English sides Crewe Alexandra, Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton Athletic. Bougherra moved to Rangers in the summer of 2008 for a fee of £2.5 million, he made his debut against Falkirk in August of that year. Bougherra made 113 appearances for Rangers and was a key part of the team that won the Scottish Premier League championship in seasons 2008–09, 2009–10 and 2010–11.
Shum was most recently the manager of Israeli side Hapoel Tel Aviv, after he replaced Dror Kashtan. Holmes dropped back into non-league football to sign for Isthmian League Premier Division club Enfield in 1980 for a £5,000 fee. He helped the Es to a second-place finish and promotion to the Alliance Premier League at the end of the 1980–81 season. He had a successful time on the top rung of non-league football with Enfield, winning the 1981–82 FA Trophy and the 1982–83 Alliance Premier League championship. He made 100 Alliance Premier League appearances and scored 19 goals for Enfield, before departing at the end of the 1983–84 season.
After graduating from UCLA with an applied math degree in 2008, Griffin returned to the San Francisco Bay Area and joined the Berkeley All Blues Women's Rugby Club. With the Scunthorpe Scorpions in 2006 he completed a clean sweep of Conference League trophies, winning the Championship, Conference Trophy, Conference Shield and the Knockout Cup. Although the Premier League Championship has been contested since 1966, the structure has changed over time, and a number of years the competition has been canceled or shortened. The versatile James Marshall can play as both opener and middle-order batsman. Marshall spent a number of his early domestic winters playing club cricket in England in the Liverpool and District Cricket Competition, initially with Formby cricket club on Merseyside, then moving to neighbours Northern in 2004 and helping them to their Premier League championship success the following year 2005.

James returned to Northern in 2005, to help the club to their ECB Premier League championship success of that year. Like Marshall, Stephen Parry played for Northern in 2004 and 2005, being both the Premier League's Player of the Season and Bowler of the Season in the club's championship of 2005, before embarking on a professional career with Lancashire. In February 2014, Parry was named in England's squad for the limited-overs series in West Indies and the World Twenty20 in Bangladesh. Phil Jaques played for Northern in 1999, via a cricketing scholarship award from New South Wales, and went on to play test match cricket for Australia from 2005.
In soccer, all students who represent the school play in two competitions: the Belfast Schools Cup and Northern Ireland Schools Cup. The later has recently received major sponsorship with Umbro providing revenue. Many past students are now playing soccer at amateur, semi- pro and Irish League levels, while others have played in England, including Tony Kane and Martin Donnelly. Many current players are currently on trial with various Premier League, Championship and Irish League teams. In Cross Country, utilising the nearby Cavehill Country Park for preparation, St Patrick's students compete on an annual basis in the B District Championships; usually held at Ormeau Park or at Queen's University's complex at ‘The Dub’.
Plans to renovate existing facilities at Spruce Meadows, resulting in a soccer-specific stadium with a capacity of at least 5,000 seats, were also revealed. On June 26, 2019, Cavalry FC qualified for the 2019 Canadian Premier League Championship by winning the inaugural CPL Spring season. The following month the Cavs became the first CPL club to defeat a Major League Soccer club in the Canadian Championship by upsetting Vancouver Whitecaps FC in 2019 over two-legs. Goalkeeper Marco Carducci became the first CPL player called up to the Canada men's national soccer team when, on August 28, 2019, he was requested for a pair of Nations League A matches against Cuba.
The Richmond Kickers were founded in 1993 and played their inaugural season in the United States Interregional Soccer League (USISL), which, at the time, represented the third division of the American soccer pyramid. The team originally played their home matches on the campus of the University of Richmond and targeted players specifically from Virginia. After a poor season in 1994, the club self-relegated to the newly formed fourth-tier USISL Premier League, now known as the USL League Two. During the 1995 season, the Kickers battled to a 15–3 winning season and went on to win the first ever USISL Premier League championship, defeating the now-defunct Cocoa Expos in the championship.
Despite occasional good performances, he had a hard time forcing his way into the AaB starting line-up in his role as central midfielder. He made his AaB breakthrough in spring 2001, as a replacement for the injured central defender Torben Boye. He impressed in his new role at AaB, as he was once more called up for the under-21 national team. For his performances throughout the season, he was elected "The World's Best Goalkeeper of 1992" by IFFHS. In the 1992–93 season, 22 clean sheets from Schmeichel helped United win the Premier League championship, the first time the club had won England's top trophy in 26 years.
Melaka United won their first consecutive Malaysia Premier League championship in the 2016 season and promote to Malaysia Super League in the 2017 season. Melaka United were knocked out of the 2016 Malaysia FA Cup in the second round by Kuala Lumpur and knocked out of the 2016 Malaysia Cup in the group stage after failed to advance to knockout-stage. On 14 November 2016, Melaka United has announced the appointment of Eric Williams to replace Mat Zan Mat Aris as the new head coach for the club.
Born in Darwin, Northern Territory, Schlein was signed by the Edinburgh Monarchs in 2001 and won the Conference League championship that year while on loan at Sheffield Tigers. He won the Premier League championship with the Monarchs in 2003 and the Elite League championship with the Coventry Bees in 2007. Schlein has represented the Australia national speedway team at the 2006 and 2007 Speedway World Cup. Schlein, who when home in Australia lives in the southern Adelaide suburb of Hallett Cove, won the Australian Under-21 Speedway Championship in 2003 and 2004 and finished 2nd to Chris Holder in 2005. He also won the South Australian Championship in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 and he won the Australian Under-16 Championship at the Northline Speedway in his home town of Darwin in 2000.
Parry made two appearances in the 2005 Minor Counties Championship season, as well as appearing in the MCCA Trophy for Cumberland, and was both his league's Player of the Season and Bowler of the Season in helping his club Northern to their ECB Premier League championship success of that year. In the second innings of Parry's debut first-class match, against Durham UCCE in April 2007, he picked up five wickets, including that of former Derbyshire squad-member Christopher Paget, though he did not contribute with the bat. At the end of the 2009 season, Parry was named Lancashire's Young Player of the Year. In April 2010, immediately before the start of the English cricket season, Lancashire's experienced and established spinner, Gary Keedy, suffered a broken collar bone.
With no further goals being scored, the match was decided by a penalty shoot-out, which City won to gain promotion. This meant the Monarchs were again evicted. In 1996, the Monarchs' rivals Glasgow Tigers closed down, so with a stadium not in use in Glasgow, and the Monarchs without a home in Edinburgh, the Monarchs' moved to Shawfield Stadium, Glasgow to form the Scottish Monarchs. Many Tigers fans refused to support what they saw as a team of old rivals, and although Monarchs fans initially travelled through to Glasgow, crowd numbers soon fell. In 1997, the Monarchs left Glasgow after gaining permission to operate at Armadale Stadium, where they continue to operate to this day. The Monarchs have won the Premier League championship five times in their history, in 2003 again in 2008 in 2010, in 2014, and once more in 2015. Edinburgh took part in the first Premier League Promotion Play-off in 2008 when they faced Wolverhampton.
In 1933–34, Porto was denied participation in the Campeonato de Portugal by its football association for refusing to release players for a match between the Porto and Lisbon regional teams. In the following season, a second nationwide competition named "Campeonato da Primeira Liga" (English: Premier League Championship), or simply Primeira Liga, was provisionally established by the national federation to increase the number of matches per season and improve the competitiveness of Portuguese football. As the regional champion, Porto qualified for the first edition of the new round-robin competition, winning it with 10 victories in 14 matches. After going undrafted in the 2013 NBA draft, he started his professional career with Kirovgrad of the Ukrainian Basketball Higher League, where he became the second best scorer in the League. Thomas averaged an impressive 19.8 points and 10.5 rebounds per game, leading his team to win the Ukrainian Higher League championship title. On October 24, 2014, Thomas signed with G.D.
