In October 1835, the fifteen-year-old Ásíyih Khánum married Baháʼu'lláh in a grand and sumptuous ceremony with the buttons on Ásíyih Khánum's clothes as jewels, these jewels were later sold to provide for food for the family during the persecution of Bábís in 1852. The earliest recipe found for salt-baked is from the fourth century BCE in Archestratus' Life of Luxury. The recipe details for a whole, round white fish such as sea bass, snapper or sea bream that was cleaned then gutted. The fish is seasoned with thyme being inserted into the cavity of the fish prior to the salt crust encapsulating it in two pounds of salt glued together with water and egg whites. In a Muslim cookbook originating from the thirteenth century, a layer of salt is placed on a new terracotta tile as a base and the fish is placed on top and another layer of salt is added on, then finally being placed in an oven.

During the ruling of Ahmad Shah Qajar, Reza Khoshnevis (known then as Tofangchi and working as a rifleman), was employed by many aristocrats to accompany them during their hunting trips and lived a life of luxury but without any purpose.

La Usurpadora (English: The Usurper; International Title: Deceptions) is a Mexican romantic drama telenovela produced by Salvador Mejia Alejandre and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from February 9 to July 24, 1998. It starred Gabriela Spanic and Fernando Colunga, and was based on La Intrusa, a novela originally broadcast in Venezuela which was itself a remake of Radio Caracas Television's 1971 telenovela La Usurpadora, which starred Marina Baura and Raúl Amundaray. This was one of the last telenovelas to feature Libertad Lamarque, who here portrayed the character of Abuela Piedad Bracho. The show's premise revolves around a pair of twin sisters who were separated when they were young, and as adults the younger sister is forced to act as a "replacement" for her wealthy twin who wants to temporarily leave her husband and his family to enjoy a life of luxury with multiple lovers.

The Darbar is a complex boasting a beautifully erected modern Shia Jami Masjid, a graveyard of the Sadaat and Faqra, his adherents, believers and vassals including the Sajjada Nasheens and the descendants, "Mach" which is the local term for the grand bonfire he prayed in, his tomb and the Imambargah . The Bargah serves as the centre of Azadari and as a pinnacle of strong ideological stance, "Rad-e Khalsiyat" which marks this chamber as the torch bearer against neo-classical concepts like Khalsiyat which resonates as Wahhabism in Shia Islam.
