Beanbag formed in Brisbane in 1995 as a "hardcore Christian rock group" by Phil "Hirvy" Hirvela on bass guitar, Michael Mullins on lead guitar and Hans "Hunz" Van Vliet on lead vocals. A year later Phil Usher joined on drums. Guttersnipe, a seven-track extended play, was released on independent Australian label Toupee Records in June 1998. It was recorded at Groundswell studio with co-production by the group and Mark McElligott, it was engineered at Sunshine Studios by McElligott.

It is part of the M H de Young Memorial Museum collection in San Francisco, CA Clark matured in art by recognizing his opportunity to develop without being constrained by the racism, poverty and inherent inequality of circumstance prejudice and labels bring. His work exhibited social realism, modern and abstract styles. When Clark could not afford paint, he salvaged throw away paint cans from trash bins in the back of art schools and mixed his own.

Hunz is noted for being one of the first trackers to make the unconventional move of adding vocals to his compositions. He was also affiliated with the tracking groups Heretics, Analogue, Five Musicians (FM) and Hellven. From 1999 to 2002, Hunz toured the United States as vocalist for the band Beanbag, who released two albums, Free Signal (2000) and Welladjusted (2001), on American label Inpop Records following their Australian independent debut, Guttersnipe (1998). The group disbanded in 2002 after a van accident that left Hunz hospitalized for three days with lung damage.

One of ASP’s first products was a Theodore-designed handgun bearing the name of the company. The ASP, based on the Smith & Wesson Model 39 semi-automatic pistol, featured many innovations: “clear grips”—which enabled the user to see the number of unfired rounds remaining; the “guttersnipe”—a gun sight designed for close range combat; and a “forefinger grip”—today a standard feature on the trigger guard of many modern handguns. Theodore’s ASP was the first successful service caliber handgun in pocket pistol size. Its arrival inspired a cottage industry of gunsmiths producing unauthorized versions of the weapon, in addition to the authorized factory version from Theodore's ASP Inc.

Regarded as a "guttersnipe" by the posh blokes from the Amateur Athletic Association, he was at his best the day after a night on late shift, lifting heavy objects and getting little sleep. Glenn Head (born May 14, 1958 in Madison, New Jersey) is an American cartoonist and comic book editor living in Brooklyn, New York. His cartooning has a strong surrealist bent and is heavily influenced by 1960s Underground comics. Much of his work has appeared in comix anthologies, starting with Bad News 1, 2 and 3 (editors Paul Karasik and Mark Newgarden) and R. Crumb’s Weirdo magazine (# 25). Glenn was a frequent contributor to the Fantagraphics’ quarterly comix anthology Zero Zero. His strip, “Skateboard Mayhem” was featured in the Simon & Schuster anthology Mind Riot: Coming of Age in Comix. Glenn’s solo work includes: Avenue D, comix about life on the lower east side; two issues of Guttersnipe comix, which combine grunge, surrealism, and autobiography; and a self-published sketchbook character study, Head Shots. From 2005 to 2010 Glenn edited and contributed to the Harvey and Eisner- nominated anthology HOTWIRE Comics (three issues). From 2009 to 2015 he created his graphic epic, Chicago.
