Gary Chaw (born 9 July 1979 in Kota Belud, Sabah, Malaysia), also known as Gary Cao or Cao Ge or by his alter ego Cao Xiaoge, is a Malaysian Chinese singer-songwriter based in Taiwan, who has had achieved success in Taiwan, Mainland China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore. He is renowned for his stage presence, wide vocal range, and rich voice. In addition, he composes for himself and other singers.

It is related to the other yews in the genera Taxus and Pseudotaxus.Cheng, Y., R. G. Nicolson, K. Tripp, and S. M. Chaw. (2000) Phylogeny of Taxaceae and Cephalotaxaceae Genera Inferred from Chloroplast matK Gene and Nuclear rDNA ITS Region.” Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution 14 (3): 353–65. It is endemic to New Caledonia, occurring in the central and northern parts of the island at 300-1,350 m altitude.

Otulissa is a female spotted owl, Strix occidentalis. She is the Ga'Hoolology ryb at the Great Tree also chief ryb, a member of the Chaw of Chaws, and a superb collier and weather interpreter. She is very prim and proper, but extremely smart and intelligent, as she likes to read a lot of books in the library. Disliked by the band at first, but later accompanies them on many of their adventures.

Nyroc (deceased) (later Coryn) is a male barn owl, Tyto alba; Kludd and Nyra's chick; first to NOT perform the Special Ceremony (Tupsi) as a Pure One. He is the youngest member of the Chaw of Chaws; the former monarch of the Great Ga'Hoole Tree; Eglantine and Soren's nephew; the cousin of Bell, Blythe, and Bash. Considered one of the greatest monarchs since Hoole and also has firesight. He helped to kill his mother.

Kyway () is a 2018 Burmese drama film produced by Bo Bo Film Production. The film was based on the novel "Pyaw Tine Yone Tak Pote Thin Nyo" by Min Lu and directed by Thar Nyi. In this film, starred Myanmar movie stars, Hlwan Paing, Ei Chaw Po, Tyron Bejay, Ye Aung, Soe Myat Thuzar. The film was produced by Bo Bo Film Production and which screened in Myanmar cinemas on 20 July 2018.

It is known that before the Buddha went through enlightenment, he was always covered by parasols to indicate his status as a prince. Therefore, it is not unusual to see a parasol-like spire atop this temple. The other flame- like decorations, called chaw faa (sky clusters), lining the edges and vertices of the roof are frequently used in Laos. This may be another quality that emphasizes the apotropaic effect of the roof.

Ei Chaw Po is also active as a solo singer. She started singing in 2013, and participated in group albums "Shwe Thachin Myar Nae Pyan Than Chin" (Flying with the golden songs) in 2015 and "VeVe 20th Anniversary" in 2016. A song from VeVe group album "A Lo Chin Sone Sanda" (The Most Desire) was a hit song in the country. Afterwards, she released her first single song "Gypsy Boy" in 2018.

Digger is a very smart tracking burrowing owl, Athene cunicularia, who is part of "The Band." Born in the Desert of Kuneer, he was separated from his parents when owls (Jatt and Jutt) from St. Aggie's attacked his family and ate his brother. He is now a Guardian of Ga'Hoole at the Great Ga'Hoole Tree in the tracking chaw. He is a very deep thinker, and can often come up with things that others can not.

The music video, directed by Justin Clough, was shot on a farm in Cottontown, Tennessee and features some of Hardy's songwriting collaborators: Brett Tyler, Joe Clemmons and Benjy Davis. The group was able to relax and have a fun day just being buddies and hanging out. Their day consisted of mudding, mattress surfing via his jacked-up 4x4, shooting catfish in a lake, paintballing, shotgunning Busch Lights and putting "a little more spit in (his) chaw," contest style.

The last, technically titled "Sambo's Address to He' Bred'rin", urges its audience to emigrate to "Hettee" (Haiti, perceived as a "Negro Republic" in the Western Hemisphere).

The Voice (Chinese: 决战好声; pinyin: Juézhàn hǎo shēng) is a Chinese-language Malaysian-Singaporean reality talent show and a version of The Voice format created by John de Mol. The series premiered on Mandarin Chinese-language Singaporean channels StarHub TV and E City as well as on a Mandarin Chinese- Language Malaysian channel, Astro AEC. It was hosted by Siow Hui Mei and Wong Hoon Hong. The coaches were Sky Wu, Della Ding, Hanjin Tan and Gary Chaw.

Han Lei, Gary Chaw, Jason Zhang and Bibi Zhou returned as guest performers for the Biennial concert on the third season the following year. Han again returned as a guest performer in the finale of the fourth season for a all-Winners exhibition performance. Zhang returned as a contestant on the fifth season where he finished 8th. Although the language is critically endangered, it is not yet moribund. There has been an attempt to pass the language on to the next generation; Morey writes that in 2001 a meeting of Khamyang elders was held, and the gathered decided to promote the speaking of the language in the village. In 2002, Chaw Mihingta began teaching the language to primary school age children. Every day at around 4 pm, young children at the village primary school began attending Khamyang instruction.

Edward Johnston was born in Washington, D.C. He received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Michigan School of Art & Design, a Master of Education degree from the University of Notre Dame, and a Post-baccalaureate Certificate in Fine Art from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Johnston teaches at the Robert Busch School of Design at Kean University. He has taught at Monmouth University, the University of Michigan, PGCC, and the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop (CHAW).

Norman Cheung and Faye Wong also released a cover version of "Superwoman" entitled "Because of Him" on her 1990 album You're the Only One. In 1998, Filipino singer Jenine Desiderio sang its song in a Filipino rendition, "Hindi ako si Darna" through her album, "Jenine". Malaysian Singer Gary Chaw had a Mandarin cover version, also named "Superwoman", on his first album Blue in 2006. The song was covered by Malaysian Idol season 1 winner Jaclyn Victor in 2006 on her second album, Inilah Jac.

In 2009, Jill Vidal and her singer boyfriend Kelvin Kwan were arrested in Tokyo on 24 February 2009 over allegations of marijuana possession. Kwan was released without charge after 32 days in jail,Patsy Moy, Drug rap Wei Si in Tokyo jail as Kwan flies home , The Standard, 30 March 2009 while Vidal later pleaded guilty in Tokyo court to heroin possession, and was sentenced to 2 years' imprisonment, suspended for 3 years.

Jung Yu-mi (born January 18, 1983) is a South Korean actress. Jung made her feature film debut in Blossom Again (2005), for which she received acting recognition. She has since starred in the critically acclaimed films Family Ties (2006), Chaw (2009), My Dear Desperado (2010), and the box office hits The Crucible (2011), Train to Busan (2016) and Kim Ji-young: Born 1982 (2019). She also frequently appears in films by auteur Hong Sang-soo, notably Oki's Movie (2010) and Our Sunhi (2013).

Musa has performed all around the world as pianist, keyboardist and band leader for some of the biggest names in the Mandarin and Cantonese pop music scene – such as Crowd Lu, Gary Chaw, Joanna Wang, MATZKA, Olivia Ong, Lara Liang, Jia Jia, ABAO, Japanese guitar duo Depapepe, Deserts Chang, Alien Huang, Alex To and many others. Musa’s latest live session was working as the keyboardist for the Mandarin pop diva A-Lin, in Sonar and I’m A-Lin World Tour during 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Back to 1989 Original TV Soundtrack (OST) (1989一念間電視原聲帶) was released on January 22, 2016 by various artists under Rock Records. It contains 12 tracks total, in which 6 songs are various instrumental versions of the songs. The opening theme "A Friend 我們是朋友" by Gary Chaw 曹格 is not featured on the official soundtrack CD. The closing theme is track 1 "Two People 兩個人" by Alien Huang 黃鴻升.

In the same month the band also performed in Singapore and Malaysia. In the same year on August 4 and 5, SENSATION hit the stage again in Gary Chaw's concert Gary Chaw Sensational Sound Concert in Hong Kong Coliseum. On October 5 the band performed together in CPOP LIVE in Macau, and as special guest performers in 2012 Golden Indie Music Awards (GIMA) on Nov 3. The band also appeared as special guest again for the charity show for Marie Claire: Voice for Women on December 11.

In 2010, she was selected an actress in the new face actor choice contest TV program "Anu Phin Nyar Pyo Khin". She made her acting debut with a main role in the film Hla Pa Thaw Wut (Pretty Karma) in 2010. She then starred in film York Kyar Ko Yaung Sar Mal (I Gonna Sell My Husband!), where she played the leading role for a first time with Pyay Ti Oo. The film was both a domestic hit, and led to increased recognition for Ei Chaw Po.

Two Jmu from South America, zoologist Nawputta and his guide Chujee, an amateur naturalist, are exploring what was once the Pittsburgh area of North America's Eastern Forest. Chaotroquin or Chaotrokin (also known as Chaw Trokin, Chao God or God Trokin in the Huilliche mythology of Chile), is the most important god in Huilliche religion; he belongs to the Mapuche culture and is equivalent to the god Ngenechen of the Mapuche religion. According to tradition, it was he who created his people. Chaotroquin is considered the father of justice, and he who provides food. To supplicate and/or thank the God Chaotroquin; the Huilliche people pray for the aid and intervention of the "Grandpa Wenteyao spirit" ("espíritu del abuelito Huenteao" in Spanish).

Valentino is a 1977 American biographical film co-written and directed by Ken Russell and starring Rudolf Nureyev, Leslie Caron, Michelle Phillips, and Carol Kane. It is loosely based on the life of silent film actor Rudolph Valentino, as recounted in the book Valentino, an Intimate Exposé of the Sheik, written by Chaw Mank and Brad Steiger. The genesis of Valentino began with producers Irwin Winkler and Robert Chartoff, who began developing the project in 1975. Russell was selected to direct, and he co-wrote the film with Mardik Martin.

Foreign Minister Maran Brang Seng went to the Chaw Kan valley to discuss the KIA's need for assistance in 1966, but the army received none. Early in the year, the Tatmadaw pulled some of its forces from Kachin State to establish the 77 Brigade and attack the Communist Party of Burma (CPB); this gave the KIA an opportunity to regroup. In July 1967, Brigade 2 commander Maran Brang Seng and his comrades took military and political courses and looked for weapons. They acquired 42 rifles, 36 bombs and two boxes of bullets, returning in September.

In a recent interview with MTV, Chaw admitted (fluently in English) that he is a shy guy who does not express himself well through words but relatively well enough in the songs he sings. His early influences came from admiration of Stevie Wonder and R. Kelly.

In 2018, she portrayed one of the female leads in the film Chu Si alongside Kyaw Htet Aung, Melody, Ei Chaw Po, Aye Myat Thu, and Nan Su Oo, which premiered in Myanmar cinemas on 14 September 2018. In 2011, Michael Tu introduced the members from MUSA's Trio - Musa, LuKa and Gaofei - to Gary. She started her acting career by starring in her debut film Ma Chaw Sal Yaut Ko Ta Yaut. Then she starred in 7 other films as a supporting actress. She acted as a leading actress in over 30 films and 2 big screen Nat Khat Mhar Tae Tite Pwal and Kaung Kin Mhar Ayoke Yay Tae Kyal. Three of her films, Chocolate, She, Take Sate Taw Than Yaw Sin and Big Screen Nat Khat Mhar Tae Tite Pwal were gained popularity among audiences in Myanmar and led to increased recognition for Yadanar Phyu Phyu Aung.

Four cans (or tins) of dipping tobacco/moist snuff. Dipping tobacco, also known as dip, moist snuff (or simply snuff), American moist snuff, or spit tobacco, is a form of smokeless tobacco. (It should also be noted that the term smokeless tobacco itself is a broad one which, while generally referring to all tobacco products which do not require smoking (e.g. nasal snuff, chewing tobacco, snus, etc.), is popularly used to refer specifically to dipping tobacco.) Dip is sometimes also called chew or chaw; because of this, it is commonly confused with chewing tobacco.

Guitarist Fabio Moreira, from Brazil, joined in Project 2 started in May 2013. Danny Deysher from the USA teamed up as the quintet member in Aug 2013 as trumpeter.

Malaysian singer Gary Chaw and Singaporean singer-songwriter Tanya Chua were named Best Mandarin Male and Female Singers in the popular music category, respectively. Chua won the Best Mandarin Female Singer award for the second time; she last won the award in the 17th Golden Melody Awards. Chua's record seven nominations for her album Goodbye & Hello are the most received by a female artist. Taiwanese musician and singer Jay Chou, who received a record-breaking eight nominations for his album On the Run and film Secret, was not able to attend the event due to his tour in China.

The Chaw flies off towards the great tree to warn them of the impending attack and realize the true size of the Pure Ones' forces, which number in the thousands. The story tells of Kludd's initiation into the Pure Ones, as it is learned that he maimed a Non-Tyto, killed a nest maid snake and attempted to kill his younger brother by pushing him out of the nest. At the Great Tree, Ezylryb gives a speech, quite similar to the speeches given by Winston Churchill during World War II, and the tree gets prep om the Pure Ones.

In 2012, Bones Will Crow: 15 Contemporary Burmese Poets was published by Arc Publications (UK). It was edited by ko ko thett and James Byrne and featured poetry from Tin Moe, Thitsar Ni, Aung Cheimt, Ma Ei, Maung Chaw Nwe, Maung Pyiyt Min, Khin Aung Aye, Zeyar Lynn, Maung Thein Zaw, Moe Zaw, Moe Way, ko ko thett, Eaindra, Pandora and Maung Yu Py and was published as part of Arc Publications Anthologies in Translation series and, later in 2013, by Northern Illinois University Press in the United States. This bi-lingual edition of poetry is regarded as the first anthology of modern Burmese poetry in the West.

In 2009, Uhm played a celebrity manager who is threatened by an unknown man and driven to the extremes in Handphone. This was followed by the black comedy Chaw, in which his character is a policeman battling with a mutant boar. Uhm then starred as 7th-century Silla general Kim Yushin in the popular period drama Queen Seondeok, for which he received a Top Excellence Award at the 2009 MBC Drama Awards. Romantic comedy Cyrano Agency was the 8th most commercially successful Korean film of 2010, and in it, Uhm played a theater actor-turned-dating coach whose ex-girlfriend is being pursued by his client.

In 2013 April, Fabio officially joined D.F.M and team up with the original MUSA's Trio as the guitarist in SENSATION Project 2. Fabio had already joined the trio and supported Gary Chaw in Sensational Sound Concert in Hong Kong Coliseum in August 2012. MUSA's Trio move on and officially grow as MUS4's (quartet) to welcome the joining of Fabio in order to explore different possibilities with different musicians line up in the production. In August, Danny Deysher the trumpeter, team up with MUSA's as the new quintet member in MU5A's in SENSATION, performing the project group's first live in 2013 in Summer Jazz Outdoor Party.

While he planned to present in Let's Go To Europe, he made his acting debut with a leading role in the film Old Jacket, alongside Khin Wint Wah and directed by Aung Zaw Lin, film released in February 2016. In 2015, he starred in his second film 67 Plaza, alongside Kaew Korravee, released in June 2018. In 2016, he made his big-screen debut in the film Kyway, alongside Ei Chaw Po and Tyron Bejay. The film was based on the novel Pyaw Tine Yone Tak Pote Thin Nyo by Min Lu and directed by Thar Nyi which premiered in Myanmar cinemas on 20 July 2018.

The out-of-market CKNR from Elliot Lake, CJJM from Espanola and CFRM and CHAW from Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands can be heard in parts of the city, particularly in the western half of Walden. In 2008, CFRM applied to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission to add a rebroadcaster in Sudbury, citing that this "would allow Sudbury residents who own property on Manitoulin Island to stay connected by providing them with important information relating to local weather, marine and road reports and events specific to Manitoulin." That application was denied by the CRTC on April 29, 2008.CRTC Decision 2008-90 CBCS, CBON and CJTK have repeaters in Espanola and on Manitoulin Island.

Tyron contracted for 20 films with Tun Producation in 2017. He made his acting debut in the thriller series It was on Yesterday 2, alongside Kyaw Kyaw Bo, Aung Min Khant, Khar Ra and Aye Myat Thu, aired on MRTV-4 in September 2018. Tyron's portrayal of the character earned praised by fans for her acting performance and character interpretation, and experienced a resurgence of popularity. In May 2017, he portrayed the main villain in the big-screen drama Kyway, alongside Hlwan Paing and Ei Chaw Po. The film was based on the novel Pyaw Tine Yone Tak Pote Thin Nyo by Min Lu and directed by Thar Nyi which premiered in Myanmar cinemas on 20 July 2018.

When the Communist People's Liberation Army (PLA) entered Yunnan Province in December 1949, the KMT troops and their dependents began crossing into Burma in late December 1949 and early January 1950. Those KMT troops were members of the Eighth Army commanded by General Li Mi, the 26th Army under General Liu Kuo Chwan and the 93rd Division under Major-General Mah Chaw Yu.
