When a patient first starts with their Vial of Life kit, they must complete a medical information form about their medical history.
However, the beer had won many other awards at many other fairs – so many, in fact, that Captain Pabst had already started tying silk ribbons around every bottle. It was a time when beer bottles were more likely to be embossed than labeled and the ribbons were likely added at great cost to Pabst. But Pabst's display of pride was also a display of marketing savvy, as patrons started asking their bartenders for "the blue-ribbon beer."Bancroft, Hubert Howe.
Clip Joints are still run in Europe, in particular by the Russian Mafia. They are not unknown in areas with high tourist traffic. Patrons are invited into a "club" with what may be either a strip joint or just well dressed women to offer to accompany the patron to the table and "buy them a bottle" – typically what appears to be champagne, but since it comes in an open bottle, it is likely cheap Crimean Sekt – at an exaggerated price.
The song “Drinkin’ Problem” is about a man who is out “at the bar drinking” and claims that “people say I got a drinkin’ problem, but I got no problem drinkin’ at all.” This mid-tempo country music song brings out a dark theme to relate to those who grew up and realized that they find happiness within the bottom of a bottle. It has a Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor feel to it. It was written with Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.
Even later, when other aspects are influenced by feminism and the shifting attitudes outside the novel, the men are masterful and stern." In 1966, the Mills & Boon author Hilary Wilde said "The odd thing is that if I met one of my heroes, I would probably bash him over the head with an empty whisky bottle. It is a type I loathe and detest. I imagine in all women, deep down inside us, is a primitive desire to be arrogantly bullied.

The company's original product was the CMV 3, the world's first commercially available condenser microphone. It was a rather large (40 cm tall, 9 cm diameter) microphone with several interchangeable capsule heads which gave it different directional patterns. Because of its shape and size, this microphone was often known as the "Neumann bottle". It is often seen in historical photographs of public events in Germany through the period of World War II. Neumann's factory in Berlin was damaged by Allied firebombing in November 1943.
Most breast pumps direct the pumped milk into a container that can be used for storage and feeding. Some manufacturers offer adapters to fit a variety of types and sizes of bottles, enabling more flexibility to mix and match products of different brands. The expressed breast milk (EBM) may be stored and later fed to a baby by bottle. It can either be frozen directly in the bottle, or stored in disposable breast milk bags which are more compact when frozen, thus saving space in a freezer.
Cooper suggested that this has to do with more Central Otago production becoming available in commercial quantities, than the relative qualities of the regions' Pinot Noir. As is the case for other New Zealand wine, New Zealand Pinot Noir is fruit- driven, forward and early maturing in the bottle. It tends to be quite full bodied (for the variety), very approachable and oak maturation tends to be restrained. High quality examples of New Zealand Pinot Noir are distinguished by savoury, earthy flavours with a greater complexity.
In 2007, John Cooper (son of the US importer of the original product, N. J. Cooper) revived the name and idea by producing a new ginger liqueur called Canton Ginger & Cognac Liqueur. If the number of cells decreases per bottle, it is more likely that it is due to damage to a small blood vessel during the procedure (known as a "traumatic tap"). While there is no official cutoff for red blood cells in the CSF no documented cases have occurred at less than "a few hundred cells" per high-powered field. The CSF sample is also examined for xanthochromia—the yellow appearance of centrifugated fluid. This can be determined by spectrophotometry (measuring the absorption of particular wavelengths of light) or visual examination.
The amoeboid form is mononucleated and the mastigote systems are not retained in this form. The transition from flagellated form to the amoeboid form can be induced by introducing 1.5% of oxygen to the top space of a culture bottle. It is not certain whether Psalteriomonsa can transform from amoeboid state back to the flagellated form since there were no successful attempts in converting amoebae to flagellated form in the type species P. lanterna. This suggests that not everything about the life cycle of this organism is understood.
When the Pacific War broke out in the 1940s, the Japanese military seized San Miguel Brewery and renamed it the Balintawak Beer Brewery where they used up their supply of raw materials before they had to resort to importing materials from Manchuria. After the country's liberation, Don Andres Soriano got San Miguel Brewery back and gave away all that was left of Balintawak Beer Brewery's supply to American and Filipino troops rather than bottle it under San Miguel's label. It took them two weeks of revelry to consume the brew.

In 1901, Louis Nafis obtained a patent (US684850A) for a tool to verify the accuracy of the graduated scale on the neck of the standard Babcock bottle. It consisted of two slender metal cylinders connected lengthwise by a thin rod and topped by a wire handle. The device was supposed to be inserted into the neck of the bottle, previously filled with water to the "0%" mark. As the two cylinders were pushed into the liquid, its level on the neck, if correctly graduated, should rise to the "4%" and to the "8%" mark, respectively.
The cattails burn or melt the various hiding places Jerry and Nibbles find. With the third one, Jerry lifts a hemispherical lid and the cattail reverses back toward Tom. Then Tom throws a knife into the turkey and Jerry runs into it, at his throat, and falls unconscious. Nibbles now launches an all-out attack: he bends back a knife handle to launch a pie; using the string between the turkey legs he slingshots a candle; and cutting a cork off a champagne bottle, it begins to rocket at Tom, ultimately making Tom and the room into a terrible mess.

The conclusion then was that it was the glass itself that was the condenser of the electric force. It was further determined by more experimentation that it did not matter what shape the glass was in or if an object was shaped like a glass bottle. It was finally determined that a property of the glass itself was this "force" of equal and opposite charges. Franklin further explains in these letters that the jar did not electrically balance itself, but a wire of some conducting material had to make contact from the inner conductor (plus) to the outer conductor (minus).
The pairing between Alison and Rafe Kovich proved to be extremely popular with critics and fans, leading to them becoming the first super couple on Port Charles. Janet Di Lauro of Soap Opera Digest wrote of the couple, " The minute actors Brian Gaskill and Erin Hershey Presley crossed paths on screen, the show's scribes knew they'd struck gold. "He looked at her and we said, 'Oh man, this is it!' recalls [Barbara] Esensten. 'Whenever we put them in a scene together, between those big, watery eyes of hers and the way he smiles at her ... I wish we could bottle it.

The girl threatens that her fiancé, who is an army paratrooper, will save her. Captain Zhurov finds out, however, that her fiance had just been killed in Afghanistan.
Wines exposed to extreme temperatures will thermally expand, and may even push up between the cork and bottle and leak from the top. When opening a bottle of wine, if a trace of wine is visible along the length of the cork, the cork is partially pushed out of the bottle, or wine is visible on the top of the cork while it is still in the bottle, it has most likely been heat damaged. Heat damaged wines often become oxidized, and red wines may take on a brick color. Even if the temperatures do not reach extremes, temperature variation alone can also damage bottled wine through oxidation.
All modern wine casks now utilise some sort of plastic tap, which is exposed by tearing away a perforated panel on the box. The main advantage of BiB packaging is that it prevents oxidation of the wine during dispensing. Rather than working as a conventional tap, the bladder uses gravity pressure to squeeze the liquid out of the bladder, whereas a conventional barrel tap works by allowing incoming air to displace the contents. After opening wine in a bottle, it is oxidized by air in the bottle which has displaced the wine poured; wine in a bag is not touched by air and thus not subject to oxidation until it is dispensed.

In late December 1941 the United States entered into World War II with an unprepared military, low stocks of arms and munitions, and fears of attack or invasion by the Axis Powers. To counter this looming threat, a series of Molotov cocktail-style devices, nominally designated as "grenades", were developed in early 1942. It consisted of a pint-sized brown or clear glass bottle that was sealed with a crimped metal cap Grenades, Mines & Boobytraps > The Americas (United States) > M1 Grenade, Incendiary, Frangible (like a beer or soda bottle). It had a number of fillers it could contain, each with their own properties, but they were compounds selected because they were activated by exposure to the air.
Ajith also performed one of the action choreographies with the use of a body mounted camera, weighing around 30 kg. In late December, the third song, a "high-spirited peppy number", was shot for five days, with Shobi choreographing the steps. An item number, titled "Machi, Open The Bottle", it featured actresses Debi Dutta and Kainaat Arora dancing to the song along with Ajith and the rest of the gang The schedule was wrapped up by early February, with which approximately fifty per cent of the film was reportedly completed. The remaining part of the film was supposedly to be shot during the third and last schedule to be held in Mumbai, which was to start in late February.
The British personal equipment used in the Second Boer War had been found to be deficient for a number of reasons and the Bandolier Equipment was introduced as a stop-gap replacement. The equipment was made of brown leather and consisted of five 10-round ammunition pouches worn over one shoulder on a bandolier, with an associated waist belt and pouches, and a haversack and water bottle. It soon proved to be unsuitable for infantry use, but was used throughout the First World War by cavalry and other mounted troops. The cavalry version of the 1903 Equipment had a further four ammunition pouches on the bandolier, worn on the soldier's back, giving a total of 90 rounds carried.
The distillery's "pear in a bottle" eau de vie Based on the traditional eau de vie de Poire Williams, Clear Creek Distillery's pear eau de vie is its most popular product, and it also sells a limited edition version with a pear grown inside the bottle. It also makes other traditional varieties of fruit brandy such as an aged apple brandy made from Golden Delicious apples, grappa from Oregon wine grapes, framboise, Mirabelle plum eau de vie, kirschwasser, and slivovitz. More unusually, Clear Creek produces an eau de vie that includes some of the spring buds of the Douglas fir tree. Clear Creek also makes a variety of fruit-based liqueurs and McCarthy's Single Malt whiskey.
By changing focal length and adjusting the camera's distance from the pink bottle, it remains the same size in the image, while the blue bottle's size appears to dramatically change. Also note that at small focal lengths, more of the scene is included. In photography and cinematography, a wide-angle lens refers to a lens whose focal length is substantially smaller than the focal length of a normal lens for a given film plane. This type of lens allows more of the scene to be included in the photograph, which is useful in architectural, interior and landscape photography where the photographer may not be able to move farther from the scene to photograph it.
During this period, when the Dublin whiskey distilleries were amongst the largest in the world, the family-run firms of John Powers, along with John Jameson, William Jameson, and George Roe, (collectively known as the "Big Four") came to dominate the Irish distilling landscape, introducing several innovations. In 1886, John Power & Son began bottling their own whiskey, rather than following the practice customary at the time, of selling whiskey directly to merchants and bonders who would bottle it themselves. They were the first Dublin distillery to do so, and one of the first in the world. A gold label adorned each bottle and it was from these that the whiskey got the name Powers Gold Label.
The Kustom Electronics device, "The Bag," was the first mass market talk box and was housed in a decorative bag slung over the shoulder like a wine bottle. It used a 30-watt driver and was released to the mass music market in early 1969, two years before Bob Heil's Talk Box became widely available. The Bag is claimed to have been designed by Doug Forbes, who states that exactly the same concept (speaker attached to a plastic tube and inserted into the mouth) had previously been patented as an artificial larynx. John Kay of Steppenwolf used the Kustom Electronics Talk Box (The Bag) in studio recordings and live performances beginning in 1969.
Big John Greer (November 21, 1923 - May 12, 1972)Thedeadrockstarsclub.com - accessed September 2011 was an American blues tenor saxophonist and vocalist, best known for his recordings from 1948 to 1956, which included "Got You on My Mind" and "Bottle It Up and Go." Glover was playing in Lucky Millinder's band when Bull Moose Jackson left the group in 1948; Glover suggested that Greer be chosen as Jackson's replacement. Greer played with Bob Shad and appeared on Millinder's RCA recordings until 1950, when Millinder signed to King Records.
Also, since the same fee can be collected by anyone finding and returning the bottle, it is common for people to collect these and return them as a means of surviving: this is quite common, for instance, among homeless people in U.S. cities. However, the principle is applied very broadly beyond bottles to paint and automobile parts such as tires. When purchasing paint or tires in many places, one simultaneously pays for the disposal of the toxic waste they become. In some countries, such as Germany, law requires attention to the comprehensive outcome of the whole extraction, production, distribution, use and waste of a product, and holds those profiting from these legally responsible for any outcome along the way.
In 1939, Tommy McClennan recorded "Bottle It Up and Go" during his first recording session for Bluebird Records. His song includes "a catchy guitar lick, a stomping danceable groove and a neat structure which divided the twelve-bar [blues] stanza into verse and chorus: socking home a different coupler each time". It is a solo piece with McClennan on vocal and guitar and borrows lyrics from earlier songs. McClennan used verses similar to those found in "Hesitation Blues": "Now nickel is a nickel, a dime is a dime" and "The Duck's Yas-Yas-Yas": "Now my mama killed a chicken, she thought it was a duck, she put 'im on the table with 'is legs sticking up".
Whilst performing with DJ Friction at Reading Festival in 2017, just minutes into the set, a loosely tightened bottle was thrown at Skibadee. It transpired that the bottle was actually full of urine, which soaked Skibadee, and an altercation began in the crowd when Skibadee stopped the set, and demanded to know who threw the bottle. It turned out that it was actually MC Five O, an MC in the early years of the drum and bass scene, who had not achieved the same level of success that Skibadee enjoyed, mainly because of a sexual molestation charge, which he vehemently denied. Eye witnesses reported that, prior to the bottle being thrown, they had noticed a man desperately sobbing, telling those near by that "it should have been me up there".
The satiric and fantastic romance is set in an imaginary semi-tropical land in Antarctica inhabited by prehistoric monsters and a cult of death-worshipers called the Kosekin. Begun many years before it was published, it is reminiscent of Edgar Allan Poe's The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket and anticipates the exotic locale and fantasy-adventure elements of works of the "Lost World genre" such as Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World and Edgar Rice Burroughs' The Land That Time Forgot, as well as innumerable prehistoric world movies based loosely on these and other works. The title and locale were inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's Ms. Found in a Bottle. It was unfortunate for De Mille's reputation as a writer that this work was published after She and King Solomon's Mines.
The Imp (who only speaks in rhyming sentences) explains that his three remaining gold coins can each grant a wish to an honest man (the fact that Sigurd has possessed the bottle for some time without being granted any wishes demonstrates that he does not qualify) on the condition that Jack break open the bottle to free him once all three are used up. Jack agrees, and the Imp guides them to Pendragon's island. With the use of the Imp's first two wishes, Jack approaches Pendragon and forces him into giving Elaine back, unaware that she has been transformed and now holds allegiance with Pendragon. Upon their return journey, Elaine disables Jack with a sleeping potion, but when she touches the Imp's bottle, it grows hot because of her evil nature, causing her to accidentally cast it into the sea.
