The band released their Swedish Grammy-winning debut album Supershitty to the Max! in 1996. Just before a tour opening for Kiss, the band recruited keyboardist and percussionist Anders Lindström (also known as Boba Fett or Boba) on a part- time basis; he would become a full-time member in 1999.

In 1996, she founded her group Anima Band together with the Mexican guitarist Pablo Ortiz. With Anima, she performed in clubs, at concerts and festivals in the Czech Republic and abroad, with a repertoire that included original arrangements of Brazilian and Latin American music and her own compositions. For four years she moderated the Czech-Spanish program Contacto Latino at Radio 1. Since the late nineties she has expanded her repertoire to include jazz standards and her own jazz compositions.

Since 2006, Klein has designed the concert series Jazz-O-Rama in the Cologne Artheater with Oliver Leicht and Matthias Schriefl. He participated in tours and CD recordings (2005) with the Frank Wingold Quartet ("Clairvoyance"), Underkarl ("Goldberg Variationen"), Florian Ross ("EightBall") and the James Choice Orchestra. In 2008, he led the European Jazz Orchestra on a European tour; In 2009 he also conducted the NDR Big Band. Together with Jiggs Whigham, he has been directing the Federal Jazz Orchestra since 2011.

The single Loser Outfit, the EP Whatever Gets You By and finally the album Start. Stop. followed. At the time the band consisted of Niklas Quintana and Nils Renberg - the backbone of the band - together with two newer members: Tomas Turunen and Anders Ekström. The Idol tells a fictionalized version of the life of Mohammed Assaf, wedding singer from a refugee camp in Gaza who went to win 2013's Arab Idol singing competition. The film starts out in 2005 in Gaza. Mohammed is a young child, playing in a band together with his tomboy sister Nour and two friends. Recognizing the possibilities Mohammed's incredible voice has to offer, they set out to become a real band and are soon asked to play at weddings.

OAG came back with a new line-up in 2005. Radhi, as the founder of OAG, together with Hafizul Azim, Muhamad Nizam, Azeezul Fitri and Eric Wong, recorded an album, OrAnG which was released in 2006. In July 2007, OAG won the group category in the Ikon Malaysia competition, a competition which features established artistes in Malaysia. The band, together with Jaclyn Victor, the winner of the solo category, went on to represent Malaysia in the regional IKON ASEAN in August 2007, where they did not win.

Bendeth left CBS Records. He was a songwriter for Chrysalis Records from 1987-1990. While in England putting a band together with Simon Climie and Rob Fisher, Bendeth and Climie wrote a song called "Ecstasy", which became the B side of Jeff Beck's single, "People Get Ready", off of Beck's album Flash. In 1987, Bendeth wrote "Two Wrongs (Don't Make a Right)" for the Joe Cocker album, Unchain My Heart, with Eddie Shwartz which became a #1 single on the US and worldwide radio charts.

The Kickovers were a pop punk band formed by Nate Albert, former guitarist of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. After Nate left the Bosstones to go to Brown University, he started writing songs, which were not like his previous band. In 2001, he got a band together with Bosstones drummer Joe Sirois, short time Weezer bass player Mikey Welsh and another Boston, MA musician Johnny Rioux. They initially joined under the name The Brakes which they had to change because of a New Jersey band called The Break.

When he was nine years of age he changed to drums and founded his first band together with classmate Joona Toivanen. While at Cygnaeus high school (1997), he played with the Joona Toivanen Trio, as well as joining gigs at local jam sessions. In 1998 he attended the jazz program at Finnish Music Conservatory, graduating in 2002, and then moved to Helsinki, and joined the Sibelius Academy to study jazz with Jukkis Uotila. In 2005–06, he studied composition under the guidance of Sonny Heinilä.

Other appearances include Jason and the Argonauts (1963) as Pelias, the Pink Panther films A Shot in the Dark (1964) and Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978), The Vampire Lovers (1970), The Golden Voyage of Sinbad (1974), and Octopussy (1983). He is mainly associated with the role of Sherlock Holmes, which he first played in the BBC's 1964 production of "The Speckled Band". Together with co-star Nigel Stock, who played Doctor Watson, Wilmer was brought back for a further twelve episodes of the Sherlock Holmes series.

A Cadet band was organized in 1891 consisting of 13 pieces obtained by private subscription. The new band, together with two companies of Cadets, marched down the railroad station to perform when President William Henry Harrison arrived on the Presidential train. The second Regular Army officer, 1LT C. F. Dentler, was detailed by the War Department as Professor of Military Science in 1894. When he arrived, he was put in charge of Cauthorn Hall (now Kidder Hall), a dormitory known for the unruly behavior of its occupants.

Bonham spent 1996 organising a new band, together with new songs for an album and playing a series of shows such as headlining the Belfast Festival and a sell out show at the Bottom Line, in Shepherd's Bush. The beginning of 1997 saw the first of many trips to the United States. She performed live on Los Angeles's Rockline syndicated radio show to three million listeners throughout North America. This was followed by a special appearance with Jason Bonham and his band at the Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles.

Fujahtive was originally formed in 1986, when all of the original members were still in high school. Jamaican-born lead vocalist Winston Ho-Sang transferred from Oakwood Collegiate to Forest Hill Collegiate, where he met Anthony Goldstein. They bonded over their mutual love of reggae music and decided to put a band together with members from each schools well respected music programs. Winston Ho-Sang's identical twin brother Wayne Ho-Sang joined the very surprised band at rehearsal and for a while audiences were seeing double on lead vocals.

Graf was raised in a musical family and was greatly inspired by his older brother Haakon known from bands like 'Ruphus', 'Hawk on Flight', and collaborations with such as Terje Rypdal and Jan Garbarek. Graf started his career in 1967 on trumpet, and debuted as a soloist 1 Christmas Day 1972 in Manglerud church. In 1974 he substituted the trumpet to bass guitar and started the following year a rock band together with the guitarist Marius Müller. In 1979 he got his first professional studio job as a funk bass player.

Oz (styled as OZ) is a Finnish heavy metal band, originally from Nakkila, Finland. It was formed in 1977, split in 1991 and re-established 2010. Since 1983, OZ has been active mostly in Sweden as the band members moved to Stockholm after the release of their second album. In 2010, drummer Mark Ruffneck (born Pekka Mark), bassist and main songwriter Jay C. Blade (born Jukka Homi, but has changed his name to Jukka Lewis) and vocalist Ape De Martini (born Tapani Hämäläinen) re-formed the band, together with Costello Hautamäki and Markku Petander.

Dryden with Jefferson Airplane (to the left), 1967 In mid-1966 Dryden was recruited to replace Skip Spence as the drummer in Jefferson Airplane, a leading San Francisco psychedelic band. Together with bassist Jack Casady, he helped create an exceptional rhythm section. A feature of live Airplane sets at the time were free-form improvisational jams, with Dryden's licks complementing Casady's fluid style, examples of which can be heard on "Thing" and "Bear Melt" from Bless Its Pointed Little Head. During this period, he had an affair with Grace Slick.

James E. "Buzz" Cason (born November 27, 1939 in Nashville, Tennessee, United States) is an American rock singer, songwriter, record producer, and author. He was a founding member of The Casuals, Nashville's first rock and roll band. Together with Richard Williams and Hugh Jarrett of The Jordanaires he recorded as The Statues for Liberty. In 1960, Cason started a solo career under the pseudonym Garry Miles, and had a number 16 hit in 1960 with "Look for a Star". In 1962 he worked as Snuff Garrett's assistant in Los Angeles.

Anzovino was introduced to music at the age of 10, and he soon developed a natural aptitude for writing.Remo Anzovino – Essenza Glocal (Locals Magazine, 14/11/12) In eighth grade he founded The Left Hand Band together with his school friends. The singer of the group was his brother Marco, three-years younger, who became a popular songwriter ("Radio1 Premio Recanati" plaque, 2001) and rhythm guitarist whom he shares each subsequent experience with. He recorded with the band in 1994 an album called Malìa (on cassette), nowhere to be found today.

In 1975 Bernes started the Bergen Blues Band together with Per Jørgensen (gitar), Edvard Askeland (bass), Kåre Sandvik (piano) and Frank Jakobsen (drums). Willy Korneliussen replaced Jakobsen as drummer the year after. Bernes also played bass in the Alfonso Band, but when Edvard Askeland, the best bass player in Bergen at the time, joined them he got rid of the bass and concentrated on the harmonica and vocals. The rest of the band was also known as "the best" in Bergen on their instruments, which gave the band a flying start.

Fred Walk kept the band together with different personnel for a time then disbanded the group in 1973. Linn County also headlined or played with Ike & Tina Turner, Earl Hooker, John Lee Hooker, Paul Butterfield, Bo Diddley, Howlin' Wolf, Elvin Bishop, Charlie Musselwhite, Steve Miller, Albert Collins and a host of others during rock festivals. When Linn County signed with Mercury, they were given the (then) unheard of sum of $50,000.00 as a signing bonus plus funds to move the group from Chicago to San Francisco. Linn County released three albums from 1968 to 1970.

In 2003 he moved to Pretoria, South Africa where he quickly formed The Fake Leather Blues Band, together with brothers Conrad and Franco Jamneck. In 2010, Mozambican born Pedro Barbosa formed together with Peter The Barbosa Experience and in that year he also joined Hoot 'n Anny, together with Franco Jamneck and his wife Alouise. Looking to press his own stamp, he formed the Peter Toussaint Band in 2016 with Franco Jamneck and Wim van Vuuren. In 2017 Wim stopped due to not having enough time and Lourene Mostert (Tuin Band) stepped in on bass.

Leonardo Marcos’ father, a self-taught music lover, was able to leave the construction business where he was a worker to become a piano maker. Music will play an important role in the art work of his son Leonardo. He learned to play classical piano but he was also interested in Rock music and decided to get a band together with the start of the punk movement and the new wave. Serge Gainsbourg, who gave him his friendly support, introduced him to record companies and he was signed up by Philippe Constantin with Barclay.

Front End Loader were formed in December 1991 in the Sydney suburb of Darlington. Founding mainstays are Bowden Campbell on guitar and vocals; and Davis Claymore on lead vocals and guitar – who had broken away from Edelweiss, their previous band – together with Richard Corey on bass guitar; and Peter Kostic on drums – both from Perth- formed group, Kryptonics. The new group were named 'Front End Loader' – which was originally chosen as "a ridiculous, strictly temporary title, until something better came up. Ha" – to enter into a Sydney University band competition.

She started singing in high-school, and her debut took place in 1976 with a song that was broadcast on the radio. In 1975 and 1976 she participated in several music competitions and festivals. One of her songs was recorded on a Romanian 1976 hits LP. After graduation, she taught violin at the music school in Brăila and then moved back to Buzău to teach violin at the Music and Plastic Arts High School, where she had been a student. In Buzău, she sang in a band, together with Laurențiu Cazan and George Nicolescu, among others.

Christobel Llewellyn founded the band together with her partner David Llewellyn as a means for young children to learn about music and instruments used in a jazz orchestra. Originally, Kinderjazz started as a 10 piece but after a chance meeting at Billy Hyde's music store in Sydney with Latin Percussionist Aykho Akhrif, the band soon added an eleventh musician on Congas. Aykho has inspired many Latin charts for the band with five of these being named after him. The twelfth member was a second trumpet, Elizabeth Geyer who decided to go solo shortly after joining, making way for Tom McElvogue to replace her.

The project narrates the history of The Delmonts, an imaginary guitar instrumental band from the late 1950s, who in early 1960s evolved into blues band The Hofner Bluenotes. It also gives a brief history of the Hofner guitar, and its importance in the development of music in Britain. The book is lavishly illustrated with period photos and mocked up posters and newspaper cuttings about the band, together with some of Rea's paintings, and photos of Hofner guitars. The music was recorded by Rea (guitars), Colin Hodgkinson (bass) and Martin Ditcham (drums), who feature in the book, together with Niel Drinkwater and Robert Ahwai.

In 1764, several thousand people from North Carolina, mainly from Orange, Granville, and Anson counties in the western region, were dissatisfied with the wealthy North Carolina officials, whom they considered cruel, arbitrary, tyrannical and corrupt. With the arrival of Royal Governor William Tryon in 1765, volatile conditions in North Carolina increasingly worsened. Many of the officers were greedy and often would band together with other local officials for their own personal gain. The entire system depended on the integrity of local officials, many of whom engaged in extortion; taxes collected often enriched the tax collectors directly.

In February 2003, they reunited again for The Morning Star Concert for West Papua at the Melbourne Concert Hall. Another reunion, for several months, started in March 2005 when the band, together with Telek, performed twice at the 2005 WOMADelaide festival. Several other performances followed – at the 10th Fest'Napuan in Port Vila, Vanuatu; the Corner Hotel; and the Northcote Social Club, Northcote.

Goldblade are an English punk rock band from Manchester, England. The band formed in early 1995 when ex Membranes frontman, John Robb, put the band together with Wayne Simmons and former Membranes and A Witness vocalist Keith Curtis on bass, Rob Haynes (ex Houndgod and Killing for Pleasure/K.F.P.) on drums and Jay Taylor on guitar.Strong, Martin C. Soon after the release of Decipher, After Forever faced a strong creative contrast between founding member and guitarist Mark Jansen and the rest of the band. Mark Jansen had been the main composer of the band together with Sander Gommans and his love for movie soundtracks and classical music had had a strong influence on the musical style of After Forever’s first two albums, Prison of Desire (2000) and Decipher. Moreover, his interest for religious and moral themes had characterized his lyrics for many songs, often collected under a common title (e.g. The Embrace That Smothers and My Pledge of Allegiance).

The Bollywood Brass Band is made up of more than ten musicians, playing saxophones, trumpets, trombones, sousaphone, and snare and bass drums and also features Johnny Kalsi and members of the Dhol Foundation on dhol drums. In 1995 the band created a parallel performing group: SamBhangra! plays both Indian and Brazilian music, and consists of the horns and drums section of the Bollywood Brass band together with a samba bateria (a nine-piece percussion section), the Dhol Foundation (five Indian dhol drummers), the Four by Four Dancers (four Bhangra–Punjabi folk-style dancers), and four Brazilian samba dancers.

In August 2001 the band returned to the Cselley Mill to record ten songs for the second self-titled LP. This second studio- album was published on the new independent label Karate Joe with the catalogue number KJ001 in April 2002. The track "Sunchild" instantly became the audio signature of the radioshow "Im Sumpf" on Austria's Public Radio Station FM4 (ORF) in 2002. During the recordings of s/t and the following concerts, some guest musicians were associated to the band. Together with the groups of artists WR, MFU and David Kleinl, the band created a visual concept for their live-appearances.

After a couple of attempts at breaking into the Los Angeles, California music scene, the group broke up and the band members went their separate ways. McCready would go on to co-form Pearl Jam in 1990 and Chris Friel and Danny Newcomb would go on to be a part of the band Goodness. Sometime as early as June 20, 1998, Chris Friel and Danny Newcomb of Goodness would invite McCready to play with Goodness onstage prior to a Pearl Jam set. They soon decided afterward to put a band together with Rick Friel and Goodness vocalist Carrie Akre.

Jim Jarmusch was the one that recommended Jones to Sacred Bones Records and eventually producer Nic Jodain teamed up with Jones and helped out with the album's production. Jones wrote all of the songs on the album and also played drums, keyboards and rhythm guitar on all tracks. His longtime friend Robert Hudson, who Jones had a band together with called "Robert Jones", played bass on the entirety of the record. The Dirt Radicals are a punk rock band based in London in the UK. Australians Sam Cooper (Bass/Vocals) and Matt Cooper (Drums/Vocals) make up the band together with Japanese Masashi Kimura (Guitar/Vocals). Previously known as Pug Jelly, The Dirt Radicals formed in December 2009 after a four-year hiatus from their previous band. On 3 August 2010, the band released their debut album "... I've Got A Rad Feelin' About This!" which was produced by Singapore-based producer Leonard Soosay. The first single "Pack Your Bags" received Hi- Rotation on radio stations Power 98fm and 91.3fm as well as airplay on MTV Asia.

After an unreleased demo and brief series of performances, Doms decided to leave the band because he needed to focus on his other projects. The Beatles Box Set is a sixteen-disc box set compiling the entire recorded works of the Beatles as issued by the band between 1962 and 1970. It was released on 15 November 1988 in Britain and America, with the same catalogue number (Apple BBX2-91302) in each of those countries. While available also in vinyl LP and cassette formats, the box set was the first complete collection of original Beatles material to be released by EMI and Capitol Records on compact disc. Influenced by her accordionist father, Eliza began her singing career in the city of Monteiro (PB) where she joined the Big Banda group, which later changed the name to Laços de Amor. In 2003, she joined Cavaleiros do Forró, where he remained for 10 years, during which time he participated in the recording of nine CDs and six DVDs. In 2013 was announced that she would leave the band together with Jaílson Santos (she was married to him until 2016). In 2013, Eliza and Jaílson announced their return to the stages in the Forró Cavalo de Aço, where it remained during five years, next to Marcelo Jubão and Neto Araújo.

A young Finn, Raivo (Ville Haapasalo), studying Russian manners and traditions, convinces his friend Zhenya [Eugene] (Sergey Kupriyanov) to help him participate in a real hunt in order to better familiarize himself with its peculiarities. They band together with a company led by an ex-army general (Alexey Buldakov) and set off to a distant cordon in the woods, taking with them several cases of vodka. Waiting for them at the cordon is an eccentric huntsman, Kuzmich (Viktor Bychkov), who occupies himself with meditation and Japanese culture, and some big-city types from St. Petersburg. Instead of the expected hunt, Raivo finds himself encountering rampant drinking and adventures.

The Book of Burning is an album by the American heavy metal band Virgin Steele. It was released in January 2002 by Noise Records to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the band, together with the compilation Hymns to Victory. The Book of Burning caused a controversy between founding members David DeFeis and Jack Starr about the format of the recording, with the result of Starr renouncing any involvement in the production of the album and in other reunion projects. According to the CD booklet, the album was recorded from June to August 2001, except "Conjuration of the Watcher", which was recorded in 1999 during "The House Of Atreus Act I" sessions.

However, the pair also took to Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, and early Pink Floyd. It was in the mod scene that Tom and David met harmonica-playing Nick Potts, whose large record collection included rare 1960s psychedelic music that became influential in shaping the future sound of the band. Together with Nick and drummer Andrew Watson, the group played the formative gig in 1984 at The Freakout in the share-house in Darlinghurst Sydney, where future Moffs art director Ben Evison lived. This psychedelic-happening house-party gig was where the band met Alan Hislop, of the garage-psyche band The Suicidal Flowers, who was soon invited to join the band.

It was also now that Amir & Dregen from Backyard Babies formed Snowracer, a progressive electronic band together with Martin ”Nåid” Landquist and Brady Blade. The debut album was released in 2005 with Universal and featured various guest artist such as Emmylou Harris.

In 1970, Afzelius formed the progg group Hoola Bandoola Band together with Mikael Wiehe. Wiehe and Afzelius became very close friends and worked together long after Hoola Bandoola had dissolved in 1975. Afzelius released his first solo album in 1974, his last one in 1999. Some of his most popular songs are "Ikaros", "Tusen bitar" (Thousand pieces – which was originally recorded by Danish Anne Linnet as "Tusind Stykker"), "Sång till friheten" (Song for Freedom – which was originally recorded by Cuban Silvio Rodríguez as "El Día Feliz Que Está Llegando"), "Kungens man" (The king's man), "Tankar i Havanna" (Thoughts in Havanna) and "Till min kära" (For my dear).

E-Shine's success continued in 2015 with Hadag Nahash as well, during the recording of a live album of the band together with the Israeli Opera Philharmonic, which was released in March of that year. Late 2015 also marked the end of an era for E-Shine. After performing with Acollective as the main act for the Israeli Piano Festival, and a successful 1o-days tour in India, in which they played in the known NH7 Weekender Festival, E-Shine announced he was leaving the band. After leaving Acollective, E-Shine continued to collaborate with Hadag Nahash and was credited for strings arrangements and guitars for the band's ninth album, Shutafim Ba'am (Hebrew for "Partners in the Nation").

The members were Bruce Stephens (vocals, keyboards and guitar), Leigh Stephens (electric guitar), Martin Quittenton (acoustic guitar), Neville Whitehead (bass) and Mick Waller (drums). His 1971 album, And a Cast of Thousands featured among other musicians, his fellow band members from the above-mentioned band, together with the power trio Ashton, Gardner and Dyke, together with the two sax players from If, Dave Quincey, Dick Morrissey, and Jethro Tull bassist, Glenn Cornick. While still involved in the music scene in the early 1990s, Stephens also worked as a graphic artist and studio photographer. He designed automotive illustrations for the advertising and production of a mail order catalog company, ASAP, in Carson City, Nevada.

On the back of the album is an image of all four members of the band together with Jackson Browne and J. D. Souther lying dead and bound on the ground. A posse stands over them, including the producer Glyn Johns (far right in a white hat), manager John Hartmann, road manager Tommy Nixon, artist Boyd Elder (who would be responsible for the skull artwork of Eagles' later albums), roadies, and Gary Burden (far left). The photo is meant to be a reenactment of the historical image of the capture and death of the Dalton Gang. Jackson Browne said that the image on the back cover with the musicians lying dead is when the "whole thing really comes together".

In 2005, they released Hoje and in 2009 they released Brasil Afora, which was first available for digital download and only later released on CD. On 3 March 2015, ex-drummer Vital Dias died of cancer in Rio de Janeiro. In their official Facebook page, the band published a message by the members, stating that they were sending "our higher thoughts for his wife, children and friends in this difficult time". In February 2016, it was announced that the band, together with singers Nando Reis, Paula Toller and Pitty, would take part of a tour promoted by the project Nivea Viva!, which takes place every year and takes artists on Brazilian tours.

Theo Keating, also known as Fake Blood and Touché, is a British DJ, musician and music producer who made his name as one half of The Wiseguys, a British hip hop/big beat band, together with Paul Eve. Some of their best-known songs are "Start the Commotion" and "Ooh La La" (not to be confused with the Goldfrapp song of the same name), which were used in commercials for Mitsubishi and Budweiser, respectively. Keating's current project is a duo called The Black Ghosts where he performs with Simon William Lord, formerly a founding member of rock band Simian. Keating is also a popular house and electro DJ and producer, under the name Fake Blood.

P. szechenyi is distinguished by a very broad vitreous margin to the forewing, this band together with the submarginal one forming a broad distal area which is divided by a row of white contiguous half moons proximally sharply bordered with black; costal and hindmarginal spots filled in with pale red, of the costal ones at least the posterior. Hindwing with large, red, white-pupilled ocelli, broad black posterior area strongly irrorated with white, and two large black anal spots with blue filling, from which emanates forward an anteriorly vitreous grey and posteriorly black submarginal band. Underside of a peculiar greasy gloss, somewhat yellowish, most markings only feebly shining through. Shaft of antenna and fringes of wings whitish.

Vigalantee was born in Chicago, but spent the majority of his childhood in a small town in Georgia, where he had a daily reminder of racism and segregation. He recalls watching his grandfather "walking like a sharecropper," and living close to poverty, dynamics that made him aware of his second-class citizenship status. As he grew older, he realized that his experience was shared by many blacks living in the South, and came to understand that if blacks could have a shared experience of oppression, they could likewise band together with a common agenda and a solid community to empower themselves out of the de facto racism. In interviews, he often references these painful memories and realizations as the backbone of his present-day activism.

Part 1 begins in 1977 with Zeke (young MC Books), a young poet who lives with his aunt Wanda following the death of his parents, meeting Shaolin Fantastic, a graffiti artist and aspiring DJ. The two band together with Zeke's friends to become "The Get Down Brothers" with a dream to become successful music artists and take over the city. Mylene, Zeke's long-time love, dreams of becoming a disco singer and leaving the Bronx, but faces obstacles such as her religious father. Alongside this, the show depicts various gangs and gangsters of the area, especially Fat Annie and her son Cadillac, and observes the poverty and violence faced by those living in the Bronx. Part 2 is set in 1978, which sees the group members facing adulthood and their futures in the music industry.

The three band together with the heroes that they have each recruited, in order to find the remaining pieces of the Monument of Dawn and seal Yomi away for good. The heroes decide that they should divide themselves into two groups, one led by Tamaki and Shiki, the other led by Setsuna, in order to confuse Yomi; the player is able to choose a group of 14 heroes and their chosen leader. The group the player chooses eventually finds the other group having been mind-controlled by Yomi, and it is through the three weapons wielded by the royal heirs, along with the energies of the heroes, that the royal heirs are free from mind control. The remaining heroes, however, require capture and a purification ritual to be performed before they are freed.

Dark Horse is the fifth studio album by English rock musician George Harrison, released on Apple Records in December 1974 as the follow-up to Living in the Material World. Although keenly anticipated on release, Dark Horse is associated with the controversial North American tour that Harrison staged with Indian classical musician Ravi Shankar in November and December that year. This was the first US tour by a member of the Beatles since 1966, and the public's nostalgia for the band, together with Harrison contracting laryngitis during rehearsals and choosing to feature Shankar so heavily in the program, resulted in scathing concert reviews from some influential music critics. The Dark Horse album was written and recorded during an extended period of upheaval in Harrison's personal life, when he dedicated much of his energies to business issues such as setting up Dark Horse Records.

Among bands that played with the Poles were Carcass (at Amsterdam's Melkweg), The Ex, Dog Faced Hermans, and Citizen Fish (in Paris; after the show both bands played a football game). A few days after returning to Poland (June 1990), Dezerter went to Frankfurt Airport, from where it flew to Tokyo, on invitation of Michiro Endo of The Stalin, a renowned Japanese punk rock band. Together with The Stalin, Polish rockers performed at Kawasaki (two shows), Nagoya, and Osaka. Both Kawasaki shows were recorded and five songs were later included in the CD Wszyscy przeciwko wszystkim, published in 1991. In exchange, Dezerter's manager Maciej Chmiel invited The Stalin for the 1990 Jarocin Festival, which took place in August of that year. Chmiel himself resigned from his post of band's manager in late 1990. In February 1991 Dezerter went on a concert to Gryfino.

For example, the game might not allow a character to gain more than 20% of the experience they need to level up by defeating an enemy. This is controversial in that it also punishes players who are skilled enough to face challenges more difficult than regular players or that band together with other players to face more difficult challenges. Another anti-power-leveling method, popularized through widespread adoption of the CircleMUD code base, is to distribute experience points from an enemy across a party pro rata by level, such that each party member gains a fraction of the enemy's experience points corresponding to the fraction of a party's total level ownership possessed by that character. For example, after any given battle, a level-30 character in a party would earn twice as much experience as would a level-15 character.

The film follows a man, Jack (Jesse Metcalfe), faking insanity in order to save his sister, Lily (Kiele Sanchez), who has been involuntarily institutionalized. The siblings soon find that the strange doctor at the asylum, Mr. Gianetti (Peter Stormare), has been testing an experimental compound, orphium, on the patients that seems to be turning them into flesh-eating zombies; Loomis (Kurt Caceres), another patient, spreads the infection. The two siblings band together with a terminally paranoid man, Dave (Kevin Sussman), and a helpful nurse, Nancy (Olivia Munn), in the hopes of finding a way out of the asylum. They are attacked by most of the prisoners and staff, who kill Nancy; while on the 4th floor, they encounter the doctor, who gives Dave an icepick lobotomy, incapacitating him; he attempts to get Jack too, but ends up being infected by Loomis.

His solo album plans were sidelined when, in the same year, he was asked to team up with ex-Doors John Densmore and Robby Krieger in The Butts Band, together with Phil Chen (bass) and Roy Davies (keyboards). Their first album was recorded in London and Kingston, Jamaica and released in the United States on Blue Thumb Records and Island Records (rest of the world). The Butts Band played a short US tour including multiple dates at New York's Max's Kansas City, a handful of British dates including opening for The Kinks at London's Finsbury Park Astoria, later The Rainbow Theatre as well as recording one session for BBC TV's The Old Grey Whistle Test after which Roden, Chen and Davies left the group. Roden finally emerged as a solo artist in the mid 1970s on Island Records with his 1974 self-titled solo album.

MacDermot had led the National Centre Party into Fine Gael on the pretence that members of the Irish Republican Army were breaking up meetings of Cumann na nGaedheal and other right-wing parties in support of the Republican Fianna Fáil, and that in order to survive the National Centre Party would have to band together with both Cumann na nGaedheal and Eoin O'Duffy's Blueshirts. However, with the accession of Fianna Fáil to power and tough anti-IRA measure put in place by de Valera, the marriage of convivence rapidly became undone. O'Duffy had become the initial leader of the party but by the summer of 1934 he had become an embarrassment to the other leaders and members of the party when he openly questioned the value of democracy after Fine Gael came second to Fianna Fáil in the 1934 Irish local elections. MacDermot and other constitutionalists in the party rebuked O'Duffy's comments.

After the young guitarist was turned down by several record labels as a solo artist, the idea of building a band around Joe Bonamassa was proposed by his manager Roy Weisman in 1991. That year, the guitarist performed at a tribute concert for Fender founder Leo Fender, which also featured former The Doors guitarist Robby Krieger's eponymous band, a group which included Krieger's son Waylon on rhythm guitar and The Allman Brothers Band bassist Berry Oakley's son Berry, Jr. on bass. Bonamassa approached Oakley, Jr. with the idea of forming a band together, with Krieger included on the suggestion of the bassist, and jazz trumpeter Miles Davis's son Erin added on drums later. After enlisting lead vocalist Aaron Hagar (son of Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar) and keyboardist Lou Segreti (a former bandmate of Bonamassa's), the band was finalised and the name Bloodline chosen based on the fact that four members were the sons of famous musicians.

Haider performed as an amateur musician in the region Stuttgart between 1954 and 1959 and studied at Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich from 1960 to 1965. In this time, he played also in the quintet of Fritz Münzer (Live in HR 1962, Jazz for young people). From 1965 to 1968, he worked as a pianist and leader of a trio in jazz club Domicile in Munich and performed there with many European and American jazz musician such as Benny Bailey, Duško Gojković, Nathan Davis, Booker Ervin, Klaus Doldinger, Hans Koller, Leo Wright, Attila Zoller, George Mraz, Peter Trunk, Philly Joe Jones, Joe Nay, Kurt Bong, Klaus Weiss and Pierre Favre. After leading the Radio Jazz Ensemble of the Bayerischer Rundfunk, he worked from 1970 with the quartet Four for Jazz (Heinz Bigler (alto saxophone), Isla Eckinger (bass) and Peter Giger, (percussion)) and founded his own trio with Eckinger and Favre and founded a Combo with Duško Gojković and lead a Big Band together with Slide Hampton, where Dexter Gordon performed also.
