This is not the case with microstrip; the differing dielectrics above and below the strip result in longitudinal non-TEM components to the wave. This results in dispersion and discontinuity elements have a resistive component causing them to radiate. In the 1950s Eugene Fubini, at the time working for AIL, jokingly suggested that a microstrip dipole would make a good antenna. This was intended to highlight the drawbacks of microstrip, but the microstrip patch antenna has become the most popular design of antenna in mobile devices.

Regarding Export markets, the Storm 3 has already seen use in several countries, especially in its armored version.

The genre is most popular in Ireland, Scotland, England, the United States, and Canada. Punks singing in Celtic languages began to emerge in the late 1970s in Wales, where groups such as Ail Symudiad (Second Movement) and Y Trwynau Coch (The Red Noses) began performing in fast-paced idioms reminiscent of the Jam; a rather harder sound was adopted by Yr Anhrefn (Chaos) in the 1980s. The 2000s saw in Scotland the emergence of several Gaelic-language punk bands, such as Mill a h-Uile Rud and the genre is also represented in Brittany with the band called Les Ramoneurs de Menhirs.
The Welsh prose text Culhwch and Olwen, dated to the 11th or 12th century, mentions the battle twice in connection to heroes who fought there. The text includes a triad naming Morfran ail Tegid, Sandde Bryd Angel, and Cynwyl Sant as the three men who survived Camlann: Morfran because of his fearsome ugliness, Sandde because of his angelic beauty, and Cynwyl because he left Arthur last. This triad shows that Camlann was famous as a battle that few survived. Caitlin Green suggests that "Osfran's son" from the Englynion y Beddau is connected to Morfran from Culhwch and Olwen.
Dumnagual is presumed to be the monarch who submitted to the joint army of Kings Óengus I of the Picts and Eadberht of Northumbria in 756; after this event, Alt Clut seems to have remained under foreign power and the royal line is known exclusively through the Harlein genealogies for more than a century.MacQuarrie, pp. 11–12. Having missed out on an academy place after leaving school, Abdaladze spent three years combining full-time studies in Dublin City University with the grind of the sub-academy. Eventually, strong performances in the AIL for Clontarf F.C. meant he was a late addition to the Leinster academy in the middle of the 2017–18 season, at the unusual age of nearly 22. Within weeks he had also made his debut for the senior team. Abdaladze was then awarded his first senior contract ahead of the 2018–19 season after spending less than a year in the academy.

Numerous OmpA-like membrane-spanning domains contribute to bacterial virulence by a variety of mechanisms such as binding to host cells or immune regulators such as Factor H. Notable examples include E. coli OmpA and Yersinia pestis Ail. Several of these proteins are vaccine candidates. E. coli OmpA was shown to make specific interactions with the human glycoprotein Ecgp on brain microvascular endothelial cells. Cronobacter sakazakii is a food borne pathogen causing meningitis in neonates and was shown to bind fibronectin via OmpA and this played a significant role in invasion of the blood brain barrier.

What makes My Perfect You stand out is how it isn't exactly a love story but an examination of Burn, played excellently by Gerald Anderson, a man desperate for an escape from the many problems that ail his life. The film opens with him running away from his family, hurriedly driving to an unknown destination until he swerves into a ravine trying to avoid hitting a pedestrian who suddenly appears in the middle of the road. He gets out of his damaged car and finds himself in a decrepit resort managed by overeager and endlessly optimistic Abi, played by surprisingly soulful Miss Universe winner-turned-actress Pia Wurtzbach.

In 1951, Harold Goodman, Audre's uncle, was impressed with Rapoport's success and introduced him to the idea of running American Income. American Income Life Insurance Company (hereafter referred to as "American Income Life," "AIL," or "The Company") was chartered as a mutual assessment association in Indiana with $25,000 of borrowed capital. Otto and his wife were finally able to return to the University of Minnesota in March 1947, and he would remain there for the remainder of his career, reaching the status of both full professor and professor emeritus. Schmitt's return to academia reveals his deep devotion to research. Harkness tells that upon leaving AIL, Otto and his wife were earning $6,600 and $3,900 annually, respectively. Upon arriving back to Minnesota, Otto resumed his former salary of $4,300 and his wife worked as his unpaid research assistant. Otto commented on his reasons for returning: “There is…on factor…which caused me to return here from an interesting and permanent engineering position at a sacrifice of some fifty percent in income.
In Irish mythology, Uisneach is described as the sacred centre of Ireland, the burial place of Irish gods such as Lugh and the Dagda, the site of a sacred tree (the Bile Uisnig), and a place of assembly (the mórdáil Uisnig) associated with the druids, which, according to later tradition, was held during the festival of Bealtaine. The Ail na Míreann ("stone of the divisions") in particular is described as the navel of Ireland. It is seen as a kind of omphalos or axis mundi of Ireland, a meeting place between the Earth and the Otherworld and the source of creation. It is said to have marked the meeting point of the provinces of Ireland.
It may be possible, then, to synchronise the activities of Ingware and Halfdene in England as recorded in the English annals with the activities of Ímar and Albann in Ireland and Laithlind as recorded in the Irish annals; nevertheless, some discrepancies remain, and this has led a number of modern historians to reject the identity of Ingware and Ímar (though not necessarily that of Halfdene and Albdann).See Ivar the Boneless and its Talk Page for further discussion. In 870 Amlaíb and Ímar besieged Ail Cluaithe, or Dumbarton, the capital of Strathclyde; they captured the stronghold following a four-month siege, and returned to Dublin in 871 with a great deal of plunder.CS 871.
He made his Munster debut against Glasgow Warriors in September 2009 and played 6 games before injuring his neck against Connacht in December 2009. Jones made his comeback against Aironi in September 2010, and played 3 games before injuring his knee against Ospreys in the same month. He was out until March 2011. He made his European debut for Munster against Brive in April 2011. Jones was part of the Munster team that won the 2010–11 Magners League. Jones made his comeback from the injury that ruled him out of the 2011 Rugby World Cup on 10 February 2012, playing 80 minutes for Shannon in their AIL game against Young Munster.

It was agreed by the IRFU in the 2015 summer that instead of four, the divisions would be divided into five creating the Division AIL 2C. Made up of all the teams who were not in the promoted from the previous season and newly promoted and local rivals Dundalk RFC. With a smaller division and both home and away fixtures many saw this as Boyne's opportunity to climb back up the league and bring back success that had eluded them in recent years. This was not the case however despite an opening day victory Boyne only won another six league games losing twelve leaving them eighth in the league just avoiding the playoff relegation and automatic relegation spots.
Founded in the 2002/03 season, the Suttonians Academy was generated with the aim of identifying and working with elite players among the under 18 and under 20 age grades who have the potential and commitment to develop to AIL Division 1 standard. Specialist additional coaching in a variety of areas is provided to aid those players in their quest to improve the required skills. All players remain fully amateur and work or attend college during their time in the Academy. Every summer, two Academy players are sent to Durban, South Africa and spend the summer months attending the Academy of the Super Rugby franchise The Sharks to further their rugby education.
Following Holmes' departure Ring won plaudits as Head Coach of Caerphilly whom he took to the third tier European Final at the Madjedski Stadium, losing to Castres Olympique. Diploma examinations "Firenze" in written and spoken Italian for the various ability levels are held four times a year in examination centers worldwide. An applicant wishing to obtain an Italian Language diploma “Firenze” must register and pay (prices varying) at least one month before the official sitting of the exam in order to sit the examination that seems suitable for him/her. When an applicant has completed the exam, the AIL evaluates it according to European Union guidelines and awards the official qualification three months after its sitting. The exams are one of a kind and the correction of the written portions as well as the final evaluation are carried out in the main Florence office in order to guarantee a uniform evaluation.
Released April 1, 1993 and was later re-released in 2010 as a HQCD. This is the soundtrack for the second season. It contains the background music from the two parts of Sailor Moon R: the Alien arc (Ail+Ann or "Ann & Alan" in the dub) and the Black Moon/ChibiUsa arc which makes up the majority of Sailor Moon R. The two songs included on this CD are the opening and closing theme song for Sailor Moon R ("Otome no Policy") and "Suki to Itte", a song used as background in Sailor Moon R. Both are sung by ISHIDA Yoko, who also sang the popular Sailor Moon R/Sailor Moon S battle song "Ai no Senshi" (Soldier of Love).
Many developers have created their own, but attempts have been made to create middleware, software that would help game developers concentrate on their games more than technical aspects. One such piece of middleware is called BigWorld. An early, successful entry into the field was VR-1 Entertainment whose Conductor platform was adopted and endorsed by a variety of service providers around the world including Sony Communications Network in Japan; the Bertelsmann Game Channel in Germany; British Telecom's Wireplay in England; and DACOM and Samsung SDS in South Korea. Games that were powered by the Conductor platform included Fighter Wing, Air Attack, Fighter Ace, EverNight, Hasbro Em@ail Games (Clue, NASCAR and Soccer), Towers of Fallow, The SARAC Project, VR1 Crossroads and Rumble in the Void.
After a loss in the play off final against Navan at home in the 2017/18 season, the 1st XV regrouped for the 2018/19 season and performed consistently all season to secure a place in the play offs for the 3rd season in a row. After beating Greystones away in a tight game in the semi final, they travelled to Stradbrook to take on Irish Rugby Kingpins, Blackrock College RFC in the final. Rainey achieved promotion to Division 2A of the Energia AIL with a 35-21 victory on a sunny day in Stradbook in one of the most famous days in the club's history. The SandCat was designed from 2004 and for a variety of applications. It was seen as a potential replacement for the AIL Storm jeeps of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), and for wider use as protected light vehicle capable of performing roles on deployed operations that until the deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan previously been performed by softskin light utility types. Plasan has also stated the design was intended to demonstrate to partner-customer OEMs that the company could take any automotive platform and design an armoured hull for it. The original SandCat was designed around an approximate 4,000 kg gross vehicle weight (GVW) and four-man crew, although following feedback from early evaluations this was revised to around 5,000 kg and four- to five-man crew.
A large number of Suttonians Minis have gone on to represent Leinster and Ireland at under-age level and often do not return to the nest, instead favouring the lure of AIL Division 1 rugby after leaving school. Players such as Aidan Kearney (Leinster and Ulster) who returned to play and coach with Suttonians, and in recent years Dave O'Brien (Leinster Academy and Ireland U20) and Ian Keatley (London Irish, Munster and Ireland U20) have taken this route. Former Leinster, Melbourne Rebels and Western Force hooker Tom Sexton started playing rugby in Suttonians' Minis set-up. The Minis 'exodus' impacts hardest at Youths level (age 13-18) as Suttonians has been in a position where restocking in terms of numbers and quality has left the club and coaches with a hard task.
Developed in the 2000s at an investment of US$2 million after IDF commitments for 1,200 units, some AIL jobs were believed to be in jeopardy following a mid-2005 announcement that the IDF would purchase 100 US sold Land Rover Defender-based MDT David. The announcement provoked threats of protests from AIL's management and labourers, who had recently faced the blow of local Humvee assembly ceasing due to budget considerations. The MDT David was chosen over the armoured version of the Storm because the heavy Storm was said to suffer from handling and reliability problems, safety hazards and limited mission operability. However the IDF said that the purchase of the David was to fill a temporary gap in production until the Storm II's testing was completed, and has since begun filling its commitment.

The development of planar technologies was driven at first by the needs of the US military, but today they can be found in mass-produced household items such as mobile phones and satellite TV receivers. According to Thomas H. Lee, Harold A. Wheeler may have experimented with coplanar lines as early as the 1930s, but the first documented planar transmission line was stripline, invented by Robert M. Barrett of the Air Force Cambridge Research Center, and published by Barrett and Barnes in 1951. Although publication did not occur until the 1950s, stripline had actually been used during World War II. According to Barrett, the first stripline power divider was built by V. H. Rumsey and H. W. Jamieson during this period. As well as issuing contracts, Barrett encouraged research in other organisations, including the Airborne Instruments Laboratory Inc. (AIL).
ELINT-gathering systems, called the Electro Magnetic Reconnaissance System, built by AIL could be carried in the chine bays to analyze electronic signal fields being passed through, and were programmed to identify items of interest.Crickmore 1997, p. 77. Over its operational life, the Blackbird carried various electronic countermeasures (ECMs), including warning and active electronic systems built by several ECM companies and called Systems A, A2, A2C, B, C, C2, E, G, H, and M. On a given mission, an aircraft carried several of these frequency/purpose payloads to meet the expected threats. Major Jerry Crew, an RSO, told Air & Space/Smithsonian that he used a jammer to try to confuse surface-to-air missile sites as their crews tracked his airplane, but once his threat-warning receiver told him a missile had been launched, he switched off the jammer to prevent the missile from homing in on its signal.
Otto was named the Supervising Engineering for the Special Devices Division of the AIL. In addition to refining the MAD system Otto worked on quite the laundry list of projects. Harkness discusses Otto's work during the war: “A full accounting of Schmitt's work during this period is difficult because of the veil of secrecy that shrouded his efforts, but a few examples serve to capture the broad scope of his engineering labors: he developed “degaussing” techniques to minimize the magnetic signature of a ship, which reduced detection by the enemy and diminished the threat of magnetically activated mines; he designed a realistic flight simulator that was eventually used to train hundreds of naval aviators; he devised radio antennas for high-speed aircraft that functioned without creating excessive aerodynamic drag; and he worked on techniques to jam enemy radio signals.” [Harkness] Schmitt also developed a device that was capable of interpreting electronic data, and forming three-dimensional visual representations using cathode-ray oscilloscopes.

This very quickly resulted in a major increase of player numbers and a consequential improvement in results from the Community games level upwards with the club regularly winning under-age competitions in Munster.Irish Examiner - 2004/03/16: Trophy-laden Bruff are still craving for place in the top flight This was followed by Irish competition wins including U16, and U18 All-Ireland cups and culminating in the winning of the U20 AIL competition in the 2000-2001 season. This under-age success had a knock on effect with the Adult teams in the club and the club has been awarded both Senior club of the year (2010–11) and Youth club of the year (2011–12) awards by the Munster Branch for its high standards of coaching and extremely high number of qualified coaches and Referees at every level within the club.(IRB Elite International Referee George Clancy is a former player and long-standing referee from the club).
Winning a competition open to the UK in 1987 he went on to write a jingle for the Red Cold Coca-Cola advertising campaign played on radio stations through out Europe whilst the rapper was featured in the News of the World and Smash Hits magazine. Recording his album mixtape "Hidden era made clearer" with Simon Milligan (DJ Troubled soul) he quickly gained notoriety as a credible underground artist writing about his experiences and views on the troubles of Ireland. The artist was interviewed by Face magazine in 1989 and featured on several popular TV shows not ail you the BPM Show on Chanel 4, BBC 2's Hypnosis and Sky TV. The rapper also worked live shows with DJ Chris Caul in the 1990s playing venues across Belfast and Glasgow. The multi genre MC also known as MC BFast was a prominent figure on the Irish dance music scene in the 1990s.
The Proscribed Royalist by John Everett Millais was acquired by the government through the scheme in 2009 Acceptance in lieu (AiL) is a provision in British tax law under which inheritance tax debts can be written off in exchange for the acquisition of objects of national importance. It was originally established by Chancellor of the Exchequer David Lloyd George as a means for the wealthy to pay the increased estate taxes imposed by his People's Budget of 1909 but had its roots in similar schemes dating to the late 19th century. It has developed from the early years when it was used mainly as a means for the aristocracy to dispose of country estates to the National Trust to the modern day when it is more associated with the transfer of works of art, antiquities and archive material to museums. The scheme is administered by Arts Council England, a non-departmental public body of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
His father died from a working accident when Tor Aspengren was eight years old. Nonetheless, he started working there at age 14, and remained there from 1931 to 1948. He joined the local trade union Norwegian Union of Iron and Metal Workers already in 1931. He also practiced workers sports in Nydalen AIL. In 1947 he became board chairman of the Oslo branch of the Union of Iron and Metal Workers. He was hired to work for the union in 1949. From 1949 to 1951 and 1959 to 1979 he was also a central board member of the Norwegian Labour Party. In October 1958 he succeeded Josef Larsson as chairman of the Union of Iron and Metal Workers, where he remained until 1966. From 1966 to 1969 he was the deputy leader of the national trade union center Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions, and from 1969 to 1977 he was their leader.
Success on the field has brought home 8 trophies, those 8 triumphs- 5 in the Magee Cup (North-East J3 League) 1987, 1988, 1990, 2010 and 2011 and the Michael Dunne Cup (Provincial J4) in 1982, The 2003 Women's AIL Division 3 and the 2004 Under 18's Division 1 . Playing as a Junior 4 side the club only had to wait 3 seasons before bringing home the first trophy home to the Bawn Inn where the club was then based. It may have taken a replay to see off Kilkenny in the Dunne Cup Final but the 10-6 victory was a great boost for a fledgling club and the Jimmy McCann led XV. With growing success in area and provincial rugby the club sought and was granted by the Leinster Branch a move up to Junior 3 in 1982. A second XV was started and the club boasted up to 40 players and several officials.
This resulted in a serious need for a way to locate submerged U-boats. Otto's colleague was familiar with his talents, and recruited him for the project. This was certainly a smart move on his colleague's behalf. Otto had an immediate impact on the progress of the project. Harkness quoted John Tate as saying, ”Within one month, we were able to get into the air working MAD prototype detector systems…”[Harkness] The Magnetic Anomaly Detector or MAD System functioned by detecting small abnormalities in the earth's magnetic field – such as those caused by large, steel submarines. [Patterson] The drastically reduced effectiveness of German U-boats during World War II can be largely attributed to “the effectiveness of MAD systems mounted in many American bombers.” This invention is particularly impressive due to the fact that Schmitt had “…previously shown no particular interest in terrestrial magnetism.” [Harkness] After developing the MAD system, Otto and some of his colleagues were relocated to Mineola, Long Island, where they formed the Airborne Instruments Laboratory (AIL).
